Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition is an amazing new model for mobile ports that should get applied to more (and better) games.

There might be no words within Unmechanical but it still tells quite the story about a little, lost robot. It's a highly imaginative puzzle game, too.

If you like the series, this one should definitely be on your list, and if you’re completely unfamiliar with Shin Megami Tensei, it’s still worth checking out if you’re a fan of RPGs in general. Undoubtedly there’s some grinding to be done the further you get - especially if you want to avoid microtransactions - but that’s fairly standard for this type of game, rather than being unique to Liberation.

If you haven't played one of these titles before, I'd recommend checking out the Phoenix Wright Trilogy's free episodes to see if it's the kind of game for you first. Otherwise, I have no problem recommending this game for anyone looking for a great Ace Attorney experience on iOS.

This iOS port is fine, and otherwise this Resident Evil game is enjoyable in a kind of risk-averse, tried-and-true-formula kind of way.

Blosics is yet another of those great "just one more level" games; the kind that incite the sort of conditioning that leaves us hopelessly tapping at the screen like lab rats pushing buttons for a food reward.

An extremely well put together, although short experience. The controls are on the cusp of being perfect for the genre, the graphics and sound are top notch, and the online gameplay is definitely a glimpse into what iPhone FPS multiplayer will be like.

Slayin is an endless action-RPG that is exceptionally retro, and just plain exceptionally good.
