A great mix of engaging fantasy and challenging strategy, offering big replay value for the asking price.

If you gobbled up Battle Academy, its sequel, and Pike And Shot, you'll find another excellent serving here. I think this game also offers a strong experience for strategy fans who love the serious designs of Slitherine titles but are looking for something a little less serious thematically from their usual fare. Those who burnt out on previous titles using this engine might want to avoid Hell: Fight For Gilrand, however.

Slitherine and Hunted Cow have created a challenging, yet humorous strategic warfare game, where good vs. evil fight for control of the land.

This is the most sterile take on an invasion from hell that we've had for some time. Strategy buffs will enjoy it nevertheless for the tactical brilliance the engine enables, but more casual fans would be better off sticking to Battle Academy, where the theme and gameplay are more closely entwined.
