It could do with a better tutorial, but Etherlords is an appealing mash-up of card battling and world building. It looks great, too.- 148Apps

Sol Invictus is a pretty enjoyable sequel to Cubus Games's Heavy Metal Thunder, which was itself a similarly fun adventure game book.- 148Apps

The ideas behind Force Arena are strong, but the game's free-to-play design, slow pace, and awkward controls make it hard to stick with. As much as I want to keep jumping into games to blast away as Han Solo, doing so just doesn't feel particularly good.- 148Apps

This turn-based strategy game isn't particularly complicated, but it's got a great concept and a lot of heart to make up for it.- 148Apps

Resynth is a decent puzzle game, but its musical elements are all pretty weak. The music is there and it's tied to the game's aesthetic, but at the end of the day, these elements don't change the fact that you're pushing blocks around the same way you might in dozens of other Sokoban-style games. As a result, there's no real reason to go out of your way to check out Resynth.- 148Apps

World of Warships Blitz is a game that is sure to entertain anyone who like World of Tanks Blitz, but is maybe wanting a little change in combat dynamics and scenery. It presents the same solid formula as Tanks, but with just enough changes so that it works for ships and the unique ways they fight, and it does so relatively well. Nothing about it is so wildly different that it will win over new fans though.- 148Apps
