This rhythm game has a unique control scheme and performance system that make it feel like a true innovation in the genre.

Lifeline is a cool idea, but the abrupt endings can make it a bit of a slog.

Brew Town is a fun and weirdly addictive experience, but after a while its repetitive processes become more tiresome and less exciting.

Pretty much the only lesson that should be taken from it is that it at least has consumable powerups that are cheap enough to buy with collected rings that they actually can become an integral part of gameplay, not just a plaything for the rich. Jack Lumber is completely ridiculous and I love it. It's easy to pick up and play, has plenty of laughs, and actually has a great number of levels to go along with it. Put on some flannel, grow out that beard, and chop some wood.

Is NFL Rivals worth picking up? If the Backbreaker games weren't enjoyable because of the generic football teams, then perhaps so. However, this is pretty much a palette swap of the second Backbreaker game with NFL teams. For some people, that may be enough. Otherwise, just hold off.

Blot is a must play for those who like high score chasing. It takes a simple, proven idea, adds a couple of twists and wraps it all up in charming, hand-drawn artwork.

If Galaxy of Pen and Paper were simply a sci-fi reskin of Knight of Pen and Paper, it would be a fine–although underwhelming–game. As is stands now though, almost everything Galaxy of Pen and Paper does to differentiate itself seems to either make it perform worse or find some other way to be frustrating. Simply put, if you're looking for a sci-fi RPG to enjoy, look elsewhere. This is not the game you're looking for.

SimCity Deluxe is finally the SimCity game that people were waiting for on the iPhone. If you like SimCity, you really should pick this one up.

It's what I'd call a "safe" game. It doesn't try anything completely unique but it has a clean look, does what it does very well and offers up plenty of increasingly complex fun.

Reckless Getaway looks phenomenal and it is crazy fun to crash a getaway car through traffic, over ramps, and down winding dirt roads. Everyone should get behind this wheel and make their getaway.

A great, yet flawed, addition to the farming style games available on the market. If you find that games such as Farmville, Animal Crossing, and Harvest Moon are your cup of tea, then Astro Ranch is a definite purchase.

A successful, improved prequel to the original. Its game play, saturated with intense action, colorful graphics and humor, is fun and satisfying.

If you are looking for a new line-drawing game to conquer, or just like to rack up high scores (although there is no global leader board, just Facebook Connect… sad), Train Conductor 2 will keep you entertained for some time.

For a simple 'find the image' game though, it's a clever idea and one that certainly makes a change from the standard Hidden Object title.

Puts players in the shoes of suspect-turned-detective Antoine as he tries to discover the truth about his foster father's murder and clear his name. It's a very tight, well-made mystery title that should delight fans of the genre.
