This is probably the one movie to me that really felt the most 'deserved', not only for the fans but for the director himself. This really goes to show you that you should let visionaries like Snyder be able to fully complete their work.This is probably the one movie to me that really felt the most 'deserved', not only for the fans but for the director himself. This really goes to show you that you should let visionaries like Snyder be able to fully complete their work. Especially after such a personal tragedy, so big props to the man for sticking it to the studio big wigs. This movie really stayed authentic and never had to copy what makes their peers "successful" in order to be good, the Marvel Formula isn't the only route you can take. This movie really felt true to itself, different from any other superhero movie I've seen. I've kind of grown sick of the family affair that these MCU movies are nowadays, full of jokes and lighthearted comedy being in every movie. Having an R rating means you can do so much more with the material, I know people will think that the appeal is only for those that relish in these kinds of over the top violence and cussing. But this movie did it in a way that was able to be quite authentic to what I usually see in my favorite DC source material like the various comics, games and animated stuff. This movie honestly has way more heart in this superior version, much of that having to do with the extended backstory that we were able to see in characters like Cyborg and Flash. For a team-up movie this was able to make its's characters each have their own purpose and value to the integrity of the plot. This also made a lot of characters really look like the 'gods' they are in these epic and breathtaking action set pieces. There is genuine badassery that we were able to see from characters that otherwise look puny in weak in the previous version. I would also like to praise this improved score by JunkieXL, there worked well in the scenes they accompanied. The cinematography is also beautiful, some nice visuals there. Although one might grow tired of Snyder's patented Slow-mo, but I thought that it worked quite well in giving it that comic book fell, especially in those sick fight scenes. I'm not sure this movie would work at all in theaters, but this new streaming platform allowed for that. While yes this is far from being a masterpiece and a perfect movie. This movie just really meant a lot for me an many others. So I have to truly thank the fans for all the support and petitioning they did in order to deliver us this fully realized version of the movie we were supposed to get. Also this is another lesson to the studios that zap the creativity out of them, and force these artists to shell out these lifeless husks in order for the sake of profit and greed, while manipulating our favorite franchises that are so important to us fans. They should all take note and really listen to the 'real fans' in the face of mass audiences and gaining wide appeal. Art is something that should take it's proper time and should never be rushed. Was 4 years too long a time to see our favorite superhero team rightfully done on the cinematic screen? Maybe for some, but for me and many others it was well worth the wait, for proving all the doubters wrong and giving us that vindication. Thanks again to all the people that fought to get this movie made, after seeing that ending without revealing anything. All I can say is, let this man finish what he started. #SnyderCut #RestoreTheSnyderverse… Expand

The movie is quite good! The meh writing by Chris Terrio and CGI is still there, but the content that was removed from the crappy final film by Joss Whedon entirely makes up for it. Additionally, that four-hour feature length is somehow pretty good to see how the film opens up and ends the story and it certainly did not disappoint a bit. All I can say is, The Snyder Cut is better than BvS: Ultimate Edition hands down especially with all the content we did not expected to see and the society we did not see in our eyes. And of course, this film is made for the fans demanded by the fans and Zack Snyder delivered it just in time.… Expand

So much more than the original. Cyberborg and Flash in particular are such different characters. I really hope Warner Bros. has future plans for the Snyder League franchise. It’s long,very long, but well worth it.

I have no words for this film than to thank Zack Snyder for his vision on the justice league and providing justice for fans of Dc. It improved on the faults of the previous film. It improved on the faults of the previous film. What I personally like about the film is that it shows the team actually working together and that all of the hero's need each other to succeed. The character development was on point especially for cyborg and the flash, it made you really feel for these characters and doesn't make them seem one dimensional. I will also appreciate that they used the r rating well, with shocking gore you'd rarely see in a casual marvel film. The story really improves on connecting the dots with many plot holes the 2017 film provided. There is more lore and backstories that doesn't seem half baked and forced upon the viewer.… Expand

I really did not like this. It was much better than Batman vs Superman, but 4 hours was way too long and it just felt like it was droning on. Sure, characters got more exposure.... but most competent directors could do that in 2 hours. HopingI really did not like this. It is a great film, much better than the previous one. In the film, previous errors were corrected and what was expected was delivered. I hope that the DC universe will continue with new films, mainly Man of Steel 2.

Apokolips' invasion of Earth does well in setting high stakes that the protagonists must overcome, and especially terrifying is the "knightmare" subplot hinting at what will happen if they fail. This movie was perfect. It was 4 hours but it never gets bored. The stories of each character is perfectly timed. I bonded with each one separately. The pace is perfect for a 4 hour movie. I think we would see a lot more from the cast. Definitely more of Affleck, Cavill and Fisher.

The characters are richer and more interesting than the original version. They make you care, you feel for them and understand them. Oh and there's no dodgy CG face.

An absolute epic. Top 5 Superhero films IMO easily.

Right there with The Dark Knight, Winter Solider and Infinity War for me. It's roughly 3:50 hrs before the credits rolls. Maybe 15/20 mins could have been cut but 95% is absolutely neededAn absolute epic. Top 5 Superhero films IMO easily.

After just finishing all 4 hours of Zack Snyder’s Justice League I can honestly say it’s one of the best pieces of superhero/comic media I’ve ever seen. It explores a much darker side of superheroes and honestly humanizes these charactersAfter just finishing all 4 hours of Zack Snyder’s Justice League I can honestly say it’s one of the best pieces of superhero/comic media I’ve ever seen. It explores a much darker side of superheroes and honestly humanizes these characters that have always been portrayed as godly beings, and it makes you sympathize with them in a way I don’t think Marvel ever really tried to do (I say that as a hardcore Marvel fan). I was worried about the length because it didn’t have ~20 years of movies to pull together like Endgame did to necessarily warrant it being so long, but the depth of the movie really makes you wish it just kept going when you know you’ve hit the end. Endgame’s conclusion is sad because you know that time period is over, but Snyder’s end is sad because you know that period is just beginning and will likely never really be explored in the way it was in this film. The versions of these characters that Snyder went with, specifically Batman, are so much more in depth than their previous versions. The Dark Knight trilogy is some of the best filmmaking I’ve ever seen, but Snyder’s Batman is a more humanized version who displays a sort of empathy and understanding that Nolan’s Bruce Wayne disregarded to explore the sadder side of the Dark Knight. The rest of the Justice League (Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, and one other I won’t spoil) have yet to be fully explored, or even realized, by DC and I hope they replicate Snyder’s formula and expand on what he did here because he did it so well. The characters and their personal but interconnected stories make you wish that by the end you had another 4 hours to go deeper into all of it, and the ending itself leaves you wanting another 4 hours to just keep exploring what’s going to happen next. All in all, Snyder’s Justice League was incredibly well done and looking past a few corny lines, was a near perfect superhero movie and definitely channeled the passion of the fans who wanted it and the director who made it. 9/10, a MUST WATCH for superhero fans!… Expand

Amazing! Great action sequences, great dialogues. Wonder Woman showing her true warrior face. BatAffleck is Batman.
