So much better than the theatrical release. Many of the scenes are more reminiscent of Lord of the Rings than a Super Hero movie. Glad to see Snyder’s true vision come to light.

I think this is a greatest comeback of DC universe that I have ever seen! I love this movie because all the characters had been reopened and rethinked in a new roles. Far better storytelling, far better style (I mean the colors of film,I think this is a greatest comeback of DC universe that I have ever seen! Far better storytelling, far better style (I mean the colors of film, graphics of Steppenwolf), far better dialogues which means this movie opened and made a good relationship between all of the characters and showed to us how beautiful and strongly they have built the team building. Superman in a new suit is another reason why I love it. I'm a huge fan of Snyder's style and I'm really enjoyed by watching it for 4 hours. I literally not a huge fan of movies, I'm watching movies not very often, and watching movies for 1-2 hours is often awfully boring for me, but the Snyder's verse is a good reason to spend 4 hours to the best feelings that I ever had by watching it!… Expand

The part of final battle is so epic. I really can't understand why the Whedon cut removed so many scenes and elements that is so important to build the characters. So glad we can have chance to see the real justice league that originally planned.

First of all, i salute to all the fans who made this movie possible. I'm not a DC geek myself but i do know quite a bit about the characters and the movies. My experience with the DCEU has been somewhat mixed. I liked wonder woman, only sawFirst of all, i salute to all the fans who made this movie possible. I'm not a DC geek myself but i do know quite a bit about the characters and the movies. My experience with the DCEU has been somewhat mixed. I liked wonder woman, only saw man of steel in parts, liked batman vs superman, except for the "Martha" scene of course. But i did not like Joss Whedon's version of the justice league (JOSSTICE LEAGUE) that came out in 2017. It felt like Warner Brothers were blatantly trying to imitate Marvel which i absolutely was not a fan of.It had cringeworthy jokes, the cgi was bad, and a lot of cheesy dialogues. I felt no connection with any of the characters and really disliked flash ( felt like spiderman),and coming to Steppenwolf (more like steppenpup) he just looked so boring, did not look terrifying at all. but my biggest gripe about the movie was that it did not feel like a team. It felt like only superman had done something in the movie (who was super OP by the way). Others had no significant amount of impact. Finally, after seeing this mediocre piece of filmmaking, i decided to give up on dceu. And then came the news that there was zack snyder's version of the movie,but i was least bothered. But then came the teasers and the trailers, after which i was hyped (never thought i'd be hyped for an extended version of a movie, or so i thought) for the movie.But now, after seeing Snyder's vision, i can clearly tell you that this felt like a whole another movie. Sure, it is long and all, but the length wasn't even any problem for me. Every character felt fleshed out, especially cyborg, and i really liked the flash this time around. The moments from the previous film felt earned here, and everbody had an impact in this movie. I really never understood why WB decided to cut all of this footage and be like "this is fine". And the antagonist, Steppenwolf, really felt like a villain. His prescence was terrifying, and he actually had a motive. So, for me, the snyder cut improved upon the original in many ways - character development, great antagonist, and a really good soundtrack etc. But coming to the cons, i only have a few, and they are the slow motion shots (Seriously Zack?). There were some cool shots in the movie, but i felt like it was overused. I also found some dialogues weird (like I BELONG TO NO ONE! , the 2017 one had the better dialogue there) and some scenes which could be cut. Finally, to sum it all up, this is the movie that dc fans have been thriving for, and it definitely lives up to the hype.

This is what DC can do to EQUALLY compete with Marvel in future life action movies. Not just the vision,the actions scene but also the Storyline with a "CARE" of physic law to make the movie more realistic. His vision of DC is really dark and out of the ordinary superherowise, serious and grown-up, I recommend when you are ready to give up on colorful superhero movies, watch this one, if you are there to enjoy a fun ride, this movie is not for you, if you want to have a fun time watch TGOTG or Avengers. The movie was very character focused and driven with passion. It shows how much of a failure Warner had on their hands with the theatrical cut and shines as one of the greatest comic book movie epics shown in live action.

Filled with beautiful imagery from the visuals of Zack Snyder, captivating scenes that tug your heart with a string, and relatable new heroes that all ages of audience find themselves rooting for. This movie is an entirely different presentation of what was shown in the 2017 version directed by Joss Whedon. Versions of the characters presented in the film shown 4 years ago such as Cyborg, the Flash, Batman, and Wonder Woman are given a complete 180 with their motivations and character arcs. Cyborg goes from being depressing and distasteful to fleshed-out in Snyder’s Cut. Same goes for the other characters; Batman is back to being his serious team-leading self, the Flash is given laughable humor along with several compelling scenes that make you root for the character at the end of the day, Wonder Woman brutal, yet hopeful compared to her bland counterpart in Whedon’s take, and finally, Aquaman doesn’t despise the world around him during the 120-minute runtime. The 2 extra hours given to this film is a much-needed breath of fresh air to delve deep into knowledge of the heroes’ and villains’ reasonings of why they do what they do. And, last but not least, the CGI is very impressive for the limited resources and small timeframe given to complete this movie. A round of applause is deserved for this modern-day superhero masterpiece.… Expand

Characters like Flash,Cyborg and Batman who were RUINED get the justice they deserved, Steppenwolf too.
The main goal of the plot is the same but each scene added bring LOGIC and SENSE for all.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is amazing, epic and full of heart. Every character has a profound story arc, nothing is too much or just because, the dialogue is rich (not as much as BvS), but understandable and connected. Every character has a profound story arc, nothing is too much or just because, the dialogue is rich (not as much as BvS), but understandable and connected. Great job by Snyder and Terrio. When I saw the Amazons, I wanted to be one of them, fighting to protect the mother box, they are such a badasses, so strong and beautiful. Zack Snyder knows how to portray strong intelligent women and connect them with the audience. Goosebumps the entire time! The same happened with every Wonder Woman scene. She's more used to this world, but always ready for a fight, without losing her warrior nature and her kindness. My daughter loves her even more, she felt the goosebumps too!! Batman is everything and more, Ben Affleck is FANTASTIC. His journey from BvS to ZSJL is well done, the impact of Superman in his life and how that changed his view of the Kryptonian and the humanity at the same time put him back to be the hero/vigilante that we love so much. The World's Finest should be the next movie with them together, after The Batfleck movie of course. Batfleck's chemistry with Jared Leto's Joker was palpable, it really felt like those two have been at each other's throats for years. I'd tasted the blood and only left me wanting more. Knightmare is what I was expecting more from ZSJL and UGH, Can I have another 4 hours with just Knightmare, please?
Aquaman from here and from there, the mistery, the legend that surrounded him in his town was engaging, beautiful and majestic. Ray Fisher was fantastic as Victor Stone and Cyborg he has a great future as an actor. The heart of the movie indeed. His story arc is painful, but full of love, understanding and acceptance. I wish Warner Brothers would stop being afraid of making Dramas with comic book characters. I think that genre is great for CBM. It attracts adults and kids. Zack Snyder's Justice League is for every age. Perfectly balanced. CBM doesn't need to be Comedy-Actions all the time. I love when the artists (Directors, writers) take the characters seriously and not as a joke. To me, too many jokes kills the characters journey and the realism. So Snyder's movies doesn't suffer of that. One negative thing I have to say about The Snyder Cut is that I was expecting to see the political and social themes, how the League impacted the world and the reaction of the governments, but I think that is too much for the general audience, because all these themes plus the psychological and philosophical were included in Batman v Superman and that was too much for the general audience. So, I see why Zack and Chris made the decision of not including them, but still disappointed because I was really looking forward to that. But that didn't take away how amazingly well done this movie is. One of the best Comic Book Movies for sure.… Expand

Simply EPIC. best CBM ever made. I don't know why metacritic score is average. Those critics want some cringe jokes and bloodless action sequences. Bruh, this was a dope flick. It may not have pleased the purists, but It is the best we will ever get in regards to a modern "complete adaptation to DC comic universe heros. Just enjoy the ride. Can we all just that this movie is just pure awesome, Warner Bros is a greedy company that should have waited for Snyder to grieve but they released a terrible movie in 2017. 4 years later we get a 4 hour epic that lives up to the hype big time, from the very opening moments of the film it’s tone is set and stone. It’s dark and atmospheric, it’s just a Snyder film it has a familiar art direction and it works for the movie. What I was most nervous about was the 4:3 aspect ratio and other reviews have said after a few minutes you don’t notice it and I didn’t believe it until I watched it and they are right. But the biggest notice is the CGI and story with the characters. Since the CGI is going to not take long but I’ll say this, it’s a huge improvement there are some moments that don’t look good but that never detracted me from the experience. The characters got a massive upgrade in particular Batman, and Cyborg, my favorite is just Cyborg’s story which got cut out of the original and his story and character arc was emotional. The bond that gets created with another character is great, what I love most is the story and action scenes. With the length of the movie it sets up the story before anything else and it’s never boring. I just can’t praise this movie enough but I do have one major complaint. Jared Leto. I would be a lot more harsh to this movie if he was in the movie earlier but he’s in the Epilogue which is at 3 hours and 45 minutes so it’s not a big deal. I hated his performance he somehow got worse the first thing he does is laugh and it sounds like a parakeet, the red on his lips looks like he stuck his face in a huge bucket of red jelly, he was just plain terrible. Overall this is the best movie in the DCEU and one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while with amazing action, music, some of the CGI and a great story with amazing characters I highly recommend this even though HBO MAX has the film, just go watch it. This is literally the best DCEU movie. I really enjoyed this. Many people say this movie is too long and lots of slow motion scenes but I think those every slow motion scene increase the quality of that scene. As an example the flash is just a sub character and only rescued a random family at the final battle but in Zack Snyder's Justice League there is a way more character development and he save the whole world and he was able to time travel. And anther fact is dialogues in the movie. In Whedon's version there are some stupid dialogues like "Do you bleed", "soothing is definitely bleeding", "we are not enough" and etc. But in this version there are way better dialogues like "he has never fought us, not us united". And there are lots of fact that says that the Zack Snyder's Justice League is better that any other DCEU movie.… Expand

Has a high rewatchable value and no frame is ever wasted. Solid and fantastic from beginning to end. So epic in scope, the cinematography, color grading, visual effects, CGI, sound design, production design, costumes, and the villains are really a menacing threat. Definitely a masterpiece comic book film unlike any other. It stands on it's own amidst the oversaturation of mediocre superhero films abound. The actors did their best and it shows how they really portrayed their characters excellently. A win for Snyder and for DC fans for sure! A Darkseid villain-Justice League sequel is a must.… Expand

A film that brought a sensational vision of the DC universe to the cinema, a shame it took so long to be released. Now it remains for us to enjoy this masterpiece with an uncertain future, it would be great to have a sequel, perhaps a trilogy.

10 times better than the theatrical version. It seems like a completely new movie.
4 hours is a lot, and even I was getting a bit sore on my butt, but its absolutely worth it.

The character development was outstanding. I even started to like Aquaman and especially The Flash, even though I disliked them previously.
The action is great and believable and the story is being told so well that you never really know what happens next and you always fear the worst.
It has a bit of wokeness injected, but its nothing bad or out of the ordinary compared to the 90s or 00s. Totally tolerable.

The only thing that bothered me a bit was that Batman looked very clumsy and sometimes useless in this movie. The other superheroes outdid him many times in agility and cleverness. You always feared that he would suddenly be killed with one hit by a lesser bad guy. And in fact he gets saved by the others many times from those sudden deaths. That was once different.

The major surprise in this movie was Cyborg. Very well done. I really loved that character. He was very powerful, but also had his humanity and weaknesses.
The Flash also was much more likeable and not as annoying or stupid anymore. I compared him to the new Spiderman in the theatrical version (who I find extremely obnoxious and childish with terrible humor). But here he seems much more mature, relatable and not once annoying, while still displaying his strengths and weaknesses extremely well.
A very well done movie. Very refreshing in this propaganda drenched age.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This movie. Wow. To start off, I am an absolutely huge DC fan. I am not as much into marvel and so don't enjoy those movies as much. I really enjoyed Batman vs Superman, loved Man of Steel, Suicide Squad, Aquaman, and the Wonder Woman movies. However, the theatrical Justice League... was rough. It was weird feeling, I felt like Cyborg was barely in it, and Flash was kind of just a side character. It seemed to focus very heavily on only a small subset of characters (in an already small team) and it felt wrong. On top of that, the visuals and random story that had no real backstory was just bad. Even I, a DC Fanboy, couldn't like it. But this, this is something special. The backstory on Cyborg and his conflict with himself, and his father is just so great. To see his struggle, and to see a hero have to fight against what anyone else would, the struggles of life that beat us down. And the small scene where he helps a lady who had been evicted, stuff like that is just incredibly touching. Showing us that though this is a superhero, he has a heart, and is actually incredibly people centered. Then the added content with Aquaman, and his struggle with his Atlantean nature just helps set up his character so much better. It is the kind of thing we saw in the Aquaman solo movie, and helps to set him up as a reluctant part of this team much better. The Flash, wow. Just wow. Flash is one of my all time favorite superheroes. So the theatrical release really left me disappointing. But man, this is just so great. I found myself laughing out loud when he was on screen oh so much. He had that childish Barry humor that we all love. He also seemed to be a much more ready hero than the theatrical version. In this version he seems to have been fighting crime, or at least coming to grips with his powers for a bit longer, and doesn't seem as weak/foolish. Batman. Man, Batman, or more appropriately Batfleck is my favorite Batman. I'm saying it. Everything from that AMAZING suit to just his general demeanor. To see Batman turn from something of a killer in BvS to this guy who is completely changed by Superman's death, its just grand. Batman in this movie is surprisingly the Hope of the team. Superman really changed him. His sacrifice for the world showed Batman that there was hope, and that for once he would have to go out on faith alone. Batman is just perfect. Wonder Woman. What can I say? She is perfect as always. Her character is setup really well as a protector of those around her. And not only that, she really plays better with Batman in this movie because of her unending hope. Overall I felt like she was done justice. And her combat in this movie was so amazing. She really kicks some tail. Overall the little things just set this movie over the top. Things like seeing a Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and various other characters was just so perfect. It felt like this was a real universe movie with so many heroes. I really hope that WB gets the message. We don't want more garbage, we want more of this. The Snyderverse was set-up to be this amazing cinematic vision. I hope we get more.… Expand
