Not sure if the people that rated this a zero actually saw the movie or not. 4 hours is definitely a time commitment, but the use of those four hours is well worth it. The theatrical release stripped these characters of their development and motivations, now we get to see how and why everyone acts the way they do, and the world building fleshes out the universe that the story is told in, allowing you to understand how everything fits together on a larger scale. Not to mention Junkie XL’s beautiful score that complements every scene. Had this movie been released in 2017, it would have been the perfect exposition for solo movies and sequels galore. As a fan of the source material, this is a film that respects and praises the comic books that inspired it. No piece of media is for everyone, and if grandiose epics of hope, faith, and redemption told through the lens of some of the most iconic superheroes of the past century, then i’d say this film is not for you, but give it a full watch through before claiming it’s just like the original or that its a waste of four hours or what have you. And you dont even notice the aspect ratio.… Expand

And the scenes with Batman's nightmare, the future with the seizure of land and the killing of almost all members of the league are masterpiece. Zack Snyder's Justice League is a paradigm shift. Because, just as Marvel created a new model of cinema that many, at first, wrinkled their noses saying that it was not cinema. Thus, Zack did with Zack Snyder's Justice League, creating a new paradigm of how to tell superhero stories. The film is just incredible. I watched it twice to be sure, and the hours fly by. For me, the best movie ever! A true masterpiece! My grade is 10/10, but there is only one criticism: Martian Manhunter's CGI could be better, but I don't think it's fair to impact the grade due to the low budget of the film for CGI.… Expand

It’s 4 hours long and I didn’t get bored. The music was so good and that kinda made me emotional. This movie was masterpiece.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is a far superior version of the movie WB released in 2017. Better story, better characters, better villains, better everything. Zack Snyder's Justice League not only is superior to the 2017 release, but is also superior to the majority of superhero movies. Despite the runtime a bit excessive, mostly due to the fact that the director used a lot of slowmotion andZack Snyder's Justice League not only is superior to the 2017 release, but is also superior to the majority of superhero movies. Despite the runtime a bit excessive, mostly due to the fact that the director used a lot of slowmotion and included a few scenes that did not added to the plot, the 04h given deepened the characters and the story in a way a theatrical release could never do. Cyborg, Flash and Steppenwolf, the most affected by the 2017 relase, were completely redeemed. Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and Aquaman all shine in their own way and even side characters have their moment. The fact that Zack Snyder's Justice League saw the light of day is a great suprise to the genre and is definetly a must watch.… Expand

Absolutely loved it, doesn’t feel like a 4 hour movie at all. Zack Snyder doesn’t try to replicate the MCU, he creates his own art. RESTORE THE SNYDERVERSE

The best DC movie since Nolan's trilogy and Man of Steel. I would love to see it fleshed out but at least can die knowing we have true justice as it stands. Thank you Mr Snyder.

Just finished watching the Snyder Cut. I'm glad that he was able to actually release his original cut. It's renewed my faith in the DCEU after the box office bomb that was Whedon's theatrical cut. As a lifelong fan of superheroes and comic books, this is the Justice League film I have been waiting for. Zack Snyder ups the ante with much more high octane action sequences, a layered plot with grave consequences and high stakes that leadAs a lifelong fan of superheroes and comic books, this is the Justice League film I have been waiting for. Zack Snyder ups the ante with much more high octane action sequences, a layered plot with grave consequences and high stakes that lead to a jaw dropping cliffhanger of an ending making you long for more. Yet the best parts of the film are the character moments, the team building, the mini-arcs and the time taken to flesh out each character. Ben Affleck continues to prove he is an excellent Batman/Bruce Wayne. Not only does he look like he walked right off the pages of the comics, he perfectly taps into that Bruce Wayne psyche whether it is the tortured soul, the tactical leader, or the charismatic yet enigmatic billionaire. Gal Gadot continues to show that not only does she embody Wonder Woman, she IS Wonder Woman. Jason Momoa is a badass and just the perfect pick for this iteration of Aquaman. Ray Fisher's Cyborg is the heart of the movie with a great backstory and character that the character truly deserved. Ezra Miller also shines this time around as The Flash with his involvement being much much more than the measly comic relief of the 2017 version. Henry Cavill IS Superman, and man was it great to see him back...in black! Please WB do not lose the greatest Superman actor of our time! Our villain Steppenwolf is now a menacing force to be reckoned with, but a villain that you actually learn about and understand. Not simply a generic conquerer. Speaking of conquerer, move over Thanos...Darkseid has arrived. Darkseid the king of DC villains, the Lord of Apokolips has made his film debut and it is fantastic. As a DC fan who tweeted the hashtag #ReleasetheSnydercut frequently, I am extremely happy with this movie. Furthermore, this should be a lesson to WB to trust in your filmmakers...you were sitting on an incredible piece of film for over three years but your own meddling nearly prevented this from seeing the light of day. It damn-near derailed the franchise back in 2017 with the incredibly sub-par theatrical cut we received. Man of Steel was an incredible debut for Henry Cavill's Superman and a fantastic modern day introduction of the character. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (ultimate edition!) is in my opinion one of the greatest comic book movies ever made and criminally underrated. Now, Zack Snyder's Justice League serves as an exclamation point for the thesis that is Zack Snyder's DCEU. Snyder envisioned a 5 film DC saga with Superman as the nucleus of the saga, here's hoping that Mr. Snyder can continue his DC saga. #RestoretheSnyderverse… Expand
