This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It was the worst MCU movie I have ever seen. How, HOW can you destroy Wanda like that after the incredible WandaVision?! Her character/story/motivation just doesn’t make ANY sense with WandaVision. The legacy of Wanda is completly destroy. The story was weak, the dialogues were stupid, the action was cheesy, the music was bad, the visual effects were poor (it seems like a Scooby Doo or Ghostbusters movie!) People were laughing AT the movie, not WITH the movie. I’ve never experienced something like that in my life at the theater. People were literally saying « Wtf is that? » or « That’s stupid » several times… And I’m not even talking about the battle scene with the musical notes (?!) The new girl America is the most powerful girl ever and can’t use her power, but a little sentence of encouragement from Dr Strange and wow she can control her power! COME ON! It sucked, they made reed Richard not so smart while also making black bolt die so easily when he is one of the strongest characters in marvel. The biggest problem with the Marvel movies now is that they serve literally no function to an overarching narrative, which is even worse when half of your setup for your movie relies on an audience that HASN'T been watching the crappy one-off TV shows on Disney + or whatever. This is honestly one of the dumbest leap-of-faith character 180's I've ever seen for a villain in the Marvel universe. Its so trite, so vague and so stupid that you wonder if anyone involved had actually watched any of the previous movies. I didn't care about these characters, they have NO permanence, they will either replace them if they die (from another multiverse, universe, dimension, etc..) or explain away why they could somehow be returned to this same dimension if they follow some mumbo-jumbo McGuffin object plot line. A.k.a. its awful.

None of the movies have done well for a long time now. These solo affairs involving garbage characters like "Black widow" aren't interesting when the character is DEAD anyway and its not interesting to hear about their back story when it has no bearing or presents any new stakes in the storyline. No tension, bad jokes, bad CGI and bland characters are literally the death knell of these movies. It really has become the end of Cowboy films as we know it.… Expand

The entire plot of the movie is terrible, lackluster and has nothing to do with the rest of the MCU. The new character: America Chavez, is totally the worst part of the movie as she is a waste of thought and talent that adds nothing to the story.

One of the worst MCU/Superhero films of all time.

I don't know how Marvel could stoop to this level total disregard for characters & storylines. They made Illuminati a joke, Dr. Strange is more like a side character in his own movie theyOne of the worst MCU/Superhero films of all time.

Ridiculous storyline... Torturing an entire town of people cannot be justified just because Wanda is a woman...Tony & Natasha sacrificed their lives...Wanda just lost her robo lover... Peter who's way younger than her lost more in couple of days than she did in her entire life & this all happens in MCU's continuity. Wong even though is the Sorcerer Supreme is incompetent, America Chavez isn't a great/well recieved character even in the comics to begin with & this movie couldn't help to redeem her. Guess according to Hollywood strong female characters can only come at the cost of strong male characters. Diversity & powerful women is great in movies and all but adding diversity & women empowerment just for the sake of it only makes the stories worse. It really is a shocker that Sam Raimi directed this.… Expand

Many female characters, everything is female - more female characters appear, then I don't know what's happening after not understanding anything, a woman appears who is more powerful than the power of a woman, there only another powerful woman to beat the powerful woman who has the most powerful power without any explanation

oh it seems like a lot of people that no one has any idea who they are and I watched the 20 MCU movies then the Character that no one knows who he is fight is louisinhas RGB here and there and the movie ends, and there's still a continuation of something that hasn't even started.

My question is?

What was this movie about?
Who are these characters that I have no idea who they are?
Why are they Fighting?
Why did a giant squid appear and then he never appeared again?

I don't know the movie I don't explain there It ends as if everything was right....???

Worst Movies I've Ever Seen in Life Trailer Deceptive , alias it shows more things in the trailer than in the movie.

They gathered a lot of people, they put Dr Strange in the middle and said Let's go, explode little thing there, put magic, put a Teenager and go

Film has no narrative, or was not edited - Manja when it's your birthday party and your aunt takes the microphone and starts singing the whole party - this is the feeling of the movie

Честно сказать в фильме все говно, начиная с Тарантиновских диалогов -заканчивая главной повесткой, а вернее сразу 2(gg это женщина, причём сильнее и умнее любого мужика ,а мужчина это бесхребетная и бесполезная субстанция,которая только и может просто стоять рядом и говорить ты сможешь, ты самая сильная и тд и тп. This film was absolute crap. I had to force myself to watch to the end in disbelief, hoping against all hope that it will eventually get better, but being disappointed at every single turn.

There are no words to effectively express how poorly this movie sucked ass. I was excited to see the sequel to Doctor Strange, but instead, I was force-fed what has become all-too-familiar Disney crap. As others have said, this was not a movie about Doctor Strange, but instead two very poorly developed female characters. And I’m OK with well-developed heroines. But at least be honest with your viewership. I feel violated - like I was bait and switched with this piece of dung movie.

Wait, what? You mean you didn’t watch the Disney+ series about WandaVision ? Neither did I, which is why I was completely ****ing lost the first half of the movie.

I feel sorry for the actors in this movie who had to deal with such a poorly written script. Horrid. Flat. Predictable. Lame. Barf. … Expand
