    Great game, glitches are there, but they can’t harm the story.
    Only thing that sucks real bad is that there’s no mouse and keyboard support on xbox

    Wow, what a disappointment. I am a huge fan of W3 and had been watching the development of CP2077 for a while now. Like many others have commented on, I can overlook bugs - these will get ironed out in time. My biggest issue with the game itself. It feels empty, it doesn’t have that lived in feel of a game world compared to W3. I was expecting more interaction with NPCs... the majority ofWow, what a disappointment. In a scene of 20 NPCs, there might be two who are actually walking. The rest are just sat there like dummies. W3 wasn’t the best when it came to combat, crafting, etc. BUT... I dearly loved the W3 because it was immersive... it sucked you in where you became lost in it’s world. CP2077 doesn’t have that, at least for me. I felt that combat was adaquate, I didn’t really have issue with it. Character creation was really nothing special, not being able to change body type seemed a bit weird to me. Dialogue felt forced... I thought it was a little jarring how quickly V buddied up with Jackie. Overall, this game is average at best. I played it on the One X and it ran much worse than expected, the frame rate dropped a good amount depending on the area and a lot of textures were blurry or muddled.     To start off, I’m playing on Xbox Series X, to anybody who was expecting a spectacular next gen game on previous gen hardware...you were instantly going to be disappointed! At this moment I’m closing in on 30 hours played, no game breaking bugs, no crashes, no issues, just 1 or 2 very amusing glitches which is to be expected in every game these days!

    The game should not have been released    To start off, I’m playing on Xbox Series X, to anybody who was expecting a spectacular next gen game on previous gen hardware...you were instantly going to be disappointed!     The game should not have been released on PS4 Original/Slim/Pro, Xbox One Original/S/X it should have been delayed for 4 more months and released on PS5, Series X and PC, the delays were placed in for a reason, it clearly was having issues with running on the earlier machines and they did what they could to make it run based on the pressure they were put under.

    You cannot have it both ways, can’t scream at CDPR when they delay to give you a better experience, forcing the higher ups to release it and then scream at them because it’s not ready! I am thoroughly enjoying every second I spend in Night City, V is an intriguing character, Johnny is brilliant and some of the side characters are so in depth I can’t wait to follow on their next mission their line, the driving is good, the gun play is great and the depth of character customisation is absolutely fantastic, you have full control on your appearance, clothing and an amazing skill tree to take advantage of.

    People need to stop whinging that the games not ready and track down a PC, Series X or PS5 to play it on and experience it how it’s meant to be played, if you aren’t happy now or can’t find/afford a console, hold off until you can and experience the game as it’s intended and you will not be disappointed!    … Expand

    Easily one of my top 5 games. I've played 20 hours and a majority of that was doing side missions. Unlike most games every side mission is different and can be done in different ways. I keep side tracked on them from the main story

CDPR being deceitful not allowing media outlets from showing their own footage of the game and delaying sending out the console review codes to try and hide all the issues with the game. I've not run into game breaking glitches maybe in lucky. I'm not huge on graphics my focus is on gameplay and story and they hit a homerun here.     So disappointed! Can’t even play it on Console! way to buggy! I’m baffled on how they were planning on releasing this game a year ago. Also disappointed that thing never showed any Console gameplay. I feel like CDPR was trying to hide something from us.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is a awesome game! A story is special. The open world is alive. This isn't next GTA this is cyperpunk, this is rpg and this is the best game I have ever played. In game are glitches and there are a lot of them but rest is prerfect or at least good. How in Witcher 3 here the most important are story and hard moral choices.

I'm not even sure where to begin. I'll start with what's great: The story and writing. I'm not even sure where to begin. I'll start with what's great: The story and writing. If i was rating this on writing alone, it would be an easy 9 or 10... but writing and story is only one element of a successful GAME. I can read a 10/10 book, or watch a 10/10 movie -- a game must also provide interactive entertainment as well. And that's where Cyberpunk 2077 in its current state fails miserably.

    First, the game is chock full of bugs. I'm sure by the time you've read this you've seen lots of articles, memes, and jokes about the various bugs. Most of them are cosmetic, but some can be gamebreaking. Characters and interactive items getting stuck under textures or the inventory system deciding not to let you change equipment. I can't go five minutes without some bug cropping up, whether its my clothes textures magically vanishing or the menu not responding.

    Second, performance is a complete nightmare. Even on the Series X, framerate drops significantly. You'll be getting hit by someone and unable to react because the frame rate drops so severely that input becomes delayed. This makes elements of combat somewhere between frustrating and rage inducing. And that's assuming it doesn't crash to dashboard, which the game is guilty of doing frequently. Graphically, the game takes the title of Downgrade Champion™ from Watch_Dogs, as this game looks decidedly 2014, even on the Series X. It's nothing like what was shown during promotional material or pre-release gameplay, and it's obvious why CDPR had demanded reviewers use b-roll footage for their reviews rather than actual gameplay footage.

    Third, and finally (but not the only other problem), the entire user interface/user experience is awful. These menus are some of the clunkiest I've seen this last generation. You'll spend more time fiddling with things in your inventory, backpack, skills, vault than you will exploring Night City. It's a tedious slog that becomes very reminiscent of early Mass Effect back on the X360 where more time was spent in menus breaking down weapons and gear for Omnigel and fiddling with skill points. It's difficult to feel invested in the world when I'm having to pop into a menu every few minutes and click through a bunch of other menus just to get something accomplished.

    Unless you have a beefy PC to play the game on, I cannot recommend it in its current state. As much as I'd like to keep uncovering the story and meeting new people in Night City, the constant bugs, crashes, and endless menu interactions ruin it. Despite all the other prior delays, it's clear this game needed another 6+ months in the cooker. I wouldn't recommend bothering with the game until: A) you have next gen hardware, B) the next gen update (along with multiple bug fixes) is released, and C) it's on sale.

    I'm giving it a four on strength of story and writing alone. The rest of the 'game' is about a 2. Where's all the big city immersion we were told we were going to see? The lengthy launch trailer talked about doing things to spend our 'ill gotten gains' on, but there are no silly side activities to do except shop and drink -- where's the equivalent of a bowling alley or dart club or karaoke bar?? Why bother with lifepaths if all they really do is add meaningless dialog choices? (Aside: how is it that The Oregon Trail, a 40 year old game, understood meaningful lifepath choices better than Cyberpunk 2077, a game built on a deep pen and paper RPG???)    … Expand

    So my suggestion is to wait thin the game be ready...     Terrible it's not playable on Xbox s I'm gutted i was unable to get an Xbox series X I will s soon as I can. Where the performance of the game is definitely better same on a ps5 but on my current generation Xbox s this is terrible. A big patch came out yesterday it's done nothing to improve performance of stability.

    The best examples of immersive story telling in games I have seen. This includes excellent NPCs with great voice acting and story arcs, along with well planned battles. If you observe the goings on, listen to the dialogues and allow yourself to be engaged, the rewards are high.

The storyline is great so far and then gun and hacking mechanics work really well. The car driving feels basic. Definitely not on the level of GTA for example but it isn't bad as such, just dated.
    I hate how so many people are ready to slate the game without giving it a chance for patches to be implemented. Even the Witcher 3 had glitches in the beginning but that was SUCH a good game by the time it was finished being worked on.
    If people have any doubt about picking this up, then I'd probably tell them to hold off for now if you really want the game to be perfect when you play it. But for everyone that's already a fan, the by all means pick the game up and support the great development team in making this game even better. Don't be put off by negative reviews from impatient entitled idiots that feel they deserved perfection from day one    … Expand

    Many years of development and many hours of fun. Good on ya CDPR! I have been playing for about 25 hours now and I haven't experienced any game-breaking glitches, only hours of play-my-way fun. Highly recommended for players that enjoy in-depth rpg mechanics and massive open world tactics.

The NPC AI is straight out of PS2, Driving mechanics garbage, Lackluster voice acting, Presentation is god awful, No real vehicle or character customization, Police spawning randomly, Way too many things on the screen to ever feel immersive, Unfinished buggy mess, The Physics in this game is non existent, Disaster of a launch. Next generation open world LMAO.

    Spent a weekend without any break, playing it, and in my opinion - another CDPR win. The current technical condition feels 7/10 but it has a great story, side quests witcher style, and a big living city. Fails are: driving mechanic, and some filler side-quests. P.S. was playing on Xbox series X

    I'm playing it on XSX and I absolutely love the game! Huge open world map and amazing innovative gameplay (quick hacking, stealth, hitman, ect.). Hope this wins GOTY award for 2021.

    What a waste of money... The game isn't playable on the base XBOX ONE S, the frame frame is so bad it makes my eyes hurt. hardly hits 30fps. My advice is don't waste your money, this game should have only been release on the new consoles. This plays worst than GTA5 on Xbox 360.

    I just it a 8 on X Box series X, yes i found some bugs on my play through but nothing really game breaking. my frame rates were good but could be better.
    I am waiting for CDPR to patch out the bugs and it might get a high score if they do.

    It is all the more regrettable that this game 'could' be indeed a masterpiece, but in its current state it's just a piece of s***.    … Expand

    This game is terrible and I am genuinely sad and upset they ripped me off. And im not even talking bugs. Everything is soulless, an empty husk of what could of been a great game. I've never reviewed a game before, but felt obligated to warn others. I feel dirty for pre-ordering this crap. CDPR should be ashamed.

It's a masterpiece in almost every category: story, visual, voice acting, soundtrack, audio design, RPG progression system, open world building, sandbox mission design. The decisions you make have meaningful consequences. Combat and driving mechanics could have been be bit better though.     Extremely disappointed with this game. I waited a long time, and they had years, years of development. There are no excuses! In addition to blurred graphics, glitches in animations, FPS drops, the game came with Portuguese dubbing without any audio! They lacked honesty and the truth, I feel like I was robbed. The first impression is what remains, and they have failed.

Or splinter cell blacklist? Or GTA Vs first glitches. The game is gorgeous even on console and the mechanics are amazing. Side missions are sick and not very repetitive. Firstly I have to say that in the few days I’ve had it (on Xbox One X), I’ve had some fun. That’s about the best I can say. In my 35 years of gaming I can’t recall having played a AAA title that has release in such a poor state! There are no excuses CDPR.. none. It’s not acceptable. The graphical quality is that of the PS3/360 era at best. The game constantly freezes and per session I’m having around 3-4 complete crashes. I could go on but it’s all been said a documented online. I advise that this one be revisited in a year or so when CDPR have got their act together. My copy is going back!… Expand

    Games like GTA San Andreas and RDR2, both open world RPG's that are far older have systems better than anythign in CP2077. CP2077 has: No body changes No character customisation after creation (barbershop/tattoos etc.) Zero    The game has fundemental issues in design choices and mechanical operation. Even discounting the bugs and launch issues and shady review process from CDPR.

    Games like GTA San Andreas and RDR2, both open world RPG's that are far older have systems better than anythign in CP2077.

    CP2077 has:

    No body changes
    No character customisation after creation (barbershop/tattoos etc.)
    Zero vehicle customisation
    Police AI (the game will litterally spawn them in near you regardless if you're in a locked room or skyscraper)
    No Traffic AI - cars are on a fixed route and will not divert at all if blocked. Zero AI.
    No Generic NPC interaction - they have 1 fixed line each, one animation until the player walks away and if you do something like combat every NPC in the area, in line of sight or not, will hunch down and cower and not move. Same for if you shoot a car, NPC's will not even react from inside the car, if you pull them out they will cower beside the car.
    Fast travel is just a loading screen
    No gambling mini games
    No side activities like mini games

    On top of all those that are just standard in otehr comparible titles, this game has an absolutely horrific itemisation system. Mods for weapons that increase ADS by 0.06seconds make them almost absolutely pointless. Stats on clothing instead fo clothing mods means your character will, like mine, be wearing pink hot pants, baseball cap, kevlar vest, crop top and steel toe capped boots for stats alone.

    Bugs aside the game DOES look pretty. But the core systems are absolutely flawed beyond belief.

    The main story itself has horrific pacing and suffers form the same issue that Fallout 4 did. Without spoiling anything it is essentially a race against the clock, high stakes, urgent main storyline. But the pacing, which is all sense of urgency and the main draw is completely droppe dby being showered with 1000 side quests and trash.    … Expand

    I pre ordered this? we all know it looks bad but the thing is I can get pass that if it wasn't out of focuses. It dose not end at that. This games script is dal 20 hours in I laughed once and it was at the plot. This game has nothing I can point to and say hey this part is good or CDPR did this right. save your money and beware of hype.

The graphics weren’t the trash they are in the standard XBOX One, they’re not too bad. Everything seems a bit washed out. I’ll have to mess with the settings. I played it all the way up to the start of the hotel section of the Dex mission to get the “relic” chip. Here’s my impression. The controls are utter garbage. I’m driving, moving, and especially firearms handling. Seriously bad. I suppose I could turn down the sensitivity but I’m not sure. The driving is just garbage. Plain and simple. The story seems awesome, the setting, and the characters but all the damn bugs and glitches almost ruin it all. My car floating. Getting randomly caught on something and not being able to move. One spot, while driving, everything froze. Just froze. I thought it locked up, but then it started moving again. Did that twice. This game was released way too soon for consoles. I get it, it’s meant to run on the next gen Series X and PS5, but the Pro and one x should have the horsepower to run this game. It’s been in development long enough that it should run. As for standard Xbox and PS4. My brother has it in Xbox and says it’s pretty much unplayable. This release is a mess. My score is based on actually playing the first 4 hours.… Expand

    I really wanted this game to be something we polish people can be proud of. But it's not even finished. It's REALLY NOT FINISHED. The city feels empty, NPCs are dumb as **** If you stop your vehicle on the road, AI will just stop instead of driving around. Dunno how could they release a game in a state like this.

    Played it on PC and Xbox Series X it is obviously better on PC but I think it was overall at least for me pretty good on XSX. The only bug I experienced was a screen freeze about once an hour maybe two hours and it would last for a couple of seconds.

    I played 9 hours of this on my Xbox one S and i was enjoying it but when i got to one of the Braindance sequences the whole room went dark and there was green flickering on the screen i managed to finish that sequence and then i just turned it off that just ruined it for me.

All side quests are greatly detailed and diverse, the characters unique and believable, and the sheer size of Night City is staggering. The freedom of choice    It was worth the wait.

    Playing on Xbox One S, this game suffrers some inconsistencies in performance (some lag here and there, some crashes). These have not put me off from enjoying the game, however, since the combat is very pleasing, and the overall RPG experience I am having is awesome.

    Some minor things bother me (like that the street vendors don't actually sell food), but i think that CDPR can (and will) deliver them later. I'd give 9/10 for these inconveniences, but since the game is clearly getting review-bombed, I am going to give it 10/10, since it's far far far better than the angry mob presents it to be.    … Expand

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
