    Playing on Xbox One X, and the game is ridiculously broken. I've had 6 crashes in the span of 8 hours of playtime, and every 5 minutes the game likes to "freeze" and try to load in things it wasn't able to. Before the fanboys come in and say I'm in the wrong for playing it on a last gen console, you guys realize the original release date was before those were announced?! Thank god I never been a fan of this lame company and never liked any Witcher game. They all play clunky too. Still feel too bad for loyal fans.     I never normally purchase a game on day 1 but based on their previous output I gave my trust (and money) to CD Projekt Red.
    This was my mistake. Theirs was releasing a game that is broken in significant ways which looks and plays like something from the early days of the 360 era. They obviously covered this up during the 1st review cycle and have successfully conned me. Never again.

    I gotta ask a refund. This breaks my heart, but te game is even broken. I didn't pass de prologue cause the game stopped all the time. You must refund if you play on Xbox O or ps4.

    It is not hate. My main problem is the very bad performance and the experience of having crashes. To have a crash in a released game is unacceptable. I refund it.

    What a joke, constant bugs and it’s crashed numerous times - I’m only 10% through the game...I’m sure you tested this game prior to release and if you thought performance was ok I question your ethics and sanity.

    The game simply put wasn’t ready, its blatantly unplayable, CDPR blatantly kept information away from the consumer. Even on next gen hardware and pc, the game is incredibly buggy, and struggles on a lot of pcs.

    This game is simply unplayable, and a game you can’t play shouldn’t be bought.

    Technical issues aside, this is a fantastic RPG. Very immersive, great characters and dialog, and awesome world building.

    Runs/looks worse than most xbox 360 games I've played, very disappointed. I've never hit 30 fps, baseline is 20-25 tops with drops to literally below 10 fps during any action. NPCs pop into and out of existence based on moving mere feet away from them, no textures look current gen-- literally none of them appear comparable to even those of GTA 4, let alone GTA 5.     This game is just terrible. I expected much possibilities in Freeplay and there are not. The missions are too long and hard. Graphics horrible. Did crash one time in 20 hours on Xbox one S so that's a plus. I have never even heard of this site but I created an account just because it's horrible.
    Don't waste your money on this!

    Game is so laggy and blurry that it is unplayable. I have never seen a frame rate so low. The little bit of the story I was able to play didnt seem like a rpg. You dont seem to have much choice in the direction of the story. Not that it even matters because the game is to broken to even play.

    Horrible frame rate in low teens, 720p resolution, literally millions of bugs, dishonest developer advertising as the game does not match videos and screenshots shown, frequent crashes, game runs incredibly poorly, and due to all of the above the game is not fun at all. This isn't a game; it's a mess and the developer owes the entire gaming community a big apology.

    Bought the game off of Xboxlive (Dec 9th ~ 9 PM PST) for my original Xbox One. Downloaded overnight. Started play Dec 10th, around 7:30 AM PST. Played for about 15-20 minutes. Put in request for refund from MS at 9 AM PST. Was my first time EVER requesting a refund for any game and I'm in my 50s and have been playing games since Pong. Heard back from MS on Dec 11 AM, declining myBought the game off of Xboxlive (Dec 9th ~ 9 PM PST) for my original Xbox One. Downloaded overnight. Started play Dec 10th, around 7:30 AM PST.     CDPR, could you have at least played the intro in a higher resolution or had the character generation set up done in a higher resolution??? It's not like you had to be concerned with the countless NPCs and flashing lights you touted were going to be in the game during this portion of play through. During the intro i was checking the back of my monitor and system to see if my HDMI cable was lose. I just couldn't believe the horrendous video quality for a game that came out at the end of 2020. The first 15 minutes of the game I was in my video settings turning off and on every single video option to see what would help and nothing did. Walking around and not seeing any real details was shocking. After seeing a dozen NPCs just materialize off to the side, and literally in front of me I called it quits. I didn't even make it to the part to start my first mission if that's how it starts. I new immediately this game was never meant for the old gen consoles, and just didn't want to ruin the experience for me when I do pick up a next gen. I may revisit the game then but who knows, with all of the playthroughs out there on high end PCs, CP2077 may fall into the "I'll just watch other people play it", like I did for Fallout 76, Anthem and BF5.    … Expand

    I've been playing on the Xbox series X and they told us we were going to get a day one update with the upgrade and we ended up with the last gen Xbox One version with bugs and very bad graphics. Complete bait and switch without notice. This game is riddled with bugs and glitches and is almost unplayable even on current gen beefy consoles.

    (Xbox series X) Buggy mess, completely disappointed. I own the cyberpunk controller, stand, and hard drive I couldn’t have been more hyped so this sucks. Multiple game breaking bugs, many more small ones. Feels like nobody at CDPR actually played it, I would’ve rather another delay than this.

Crashes every 10 minutes and when it's not crashing, it's lagging or sputtering or glitching in countless other ways - and the worst part is, even without all of the bugs, the game pretty much blows anyways - might be a 2 or 3 if it ran without bugging out constantly. As it is, it's a pile of steaming feces - I want my money back!

The visuals are nice but I am slightly disappointed by the texture quality, however the lighting engine is sublime while playing the game on 4K HDR 60” panel really makes the bright neons of Night City pop. The gameplay, world and lore has me hooked and I’ve spent a lot of time exploring Night City, doing Gigs and Side Quests, Crafting, Clothes Shopping, etc. the game excels at letting the player get lost and some of the conversations in the Side Quests are up there alongside the Witcher 3 (GlaDOS makes a cameo.) Overall I do agree the game was a buggy mess at launch, but so far I’ve been enjoying to bits and haven’t encountered anything game breaking for me. However I wouldn’t recommend the game as “Purchase Right Now” like the Witcher 3 I’d probably say wait a little bit for CDPR to iron out the bugs before jumping in. But when you do jump in you’re in for one bloody good RPG Samurai. Have a little faith in CDPR like with The Witcher 3 they will fix the bugs and people will be able to experience the solid game that lies underneath.… Expand

    Horribly optimised game with horrendous frame rate issues, freezing and crashing issues. Unplayable and should be avoided. Gun controls are absolutely trash as well! I sold this game and it's the best decision I have made.

    It is unfortunate that the XB1 version of the game is very visually grainy and lacks a polish that so many other games have on the XB1. At first I didn't notice it until I finally got into Night City and was able to freely roam. Very disappointing. I will not continue playing this game until the graphics are greatly improved!

When I knew there were going to be bugs I shrugged my shoulders and accepted that I would be receiving a bugged out game, but... was quite shocked to see the actual amount of bugs that plagued this game, which I myself started to question as too why there were so many. The bugs are there... freezes, crashes, missing art on guns, T posing NPC's the whole lot of them but with the quick save features, whenever I did crash or had to leave the game, it put me relatively super close to the area I crashed at so I was able to continue to play my game onward without any hiccups... until I found the next crash that is... Is it playable...? Yes.. it very much is, and you can get through the storyline and complete the game but it will feel like you're trudging through mud while doing it.

    Story:
    I was a bit disappointed at first with the story... I was confused during the beginning of the game as to what was the point of pushing through the story if it was kind of... typical, and then.. it hit me. The story got good and real fun. There's a lot in this game.. A LOT of MEAT to tear and chew through but when you get to the good story plots... you've put your seat belt on and are fully on for the ride! The story is worth it in the end, its a slow burner until it "hits the fan" per say and when you get there... it will absolutely be worth it.

    Sound:
    With the heavy amount of guns and cars throughout the game... I thought that some of the sounds might have gotten overlooked but to tell you the truth... It didn't. Different guns... from the same TYPE have different gun shots to them. When you shoot someone with a pistol that is supposed to be stronger.. you do feel the power and feel like you're holding something lethal in your hand when fighting different enemies. Enemies that look scary, feel heavy, and different cars that range from expensive to cheap all have their heavy engine sounds to them which I was pleasantly surprised to find.

    Gameplay:
    Here's where we finally get to the good stuff. The game is fun. Not going to lie to you. I played as Male V wielding a Katana and Sub machine gun while hacking my way through enemies. You would think... wielding a katana sounds weird right? Well... I wanted to try it and built my way towards a melee build and it was absolutely viable. Normally, when you do any kind of melee build in an RPG game that was marketed for gun play one would assume I would be struggling quite alot with a bunch of game over screens but that was not the case here. Investing points into the right perks made me feel like a bad*** samurai slashing my way through enemies and feeling awesome while doing it. It felt fluid and smooth when I ran... crouch slid into cover then jumped out of cover as an enemy came at me and pulled my katana out for a righteous bloody kill. Its awesome and I recommend everyone to at least try it. The AI... its not that bad, they play fairly smart. Its not as bad as people says it is... really... you will have fun no doubt... especially if you've got a bloody katana in your hand slashing through enemies like Raiden from Metal Gear Rising.

    MISC:
    The inventory and amount of items in the game are just overwhelming.. At the start of the game you will be selling or dismantling alot of your gear with a bunch of stats you won't really understand until you reach a certain point in the game. The amount of food and stat buffs there are to me personally bulks the game down.. its just baffling to me why there's so much food in the game you won't really have the chance to even eat. The standard "Med Hypo" thats like any red potion in an rpg was good enough for me..

    Overall Final Thoughts:
    This game should be a 9... BUT. A HUGEEE BUT. There are technical bugs that just hurt the entire experience for me. There are minor gripes that I have with the menu and inventory system and the game crashing every so often makes me... *sigh* with sadness, but what kept me going was the amount of fun I was having killing guys with my katana and enjoying the storyline. If the bugs get fixed and the graphics can be played at the resolution it was suppose to be played at, this would be an EASY 9.5/10 for me. But as the game is right now... My final score is a 7.75/10. I didn't go lower for one reason. CDPR WILL patch these nuisances up... It WILL be fixed... Do NOT Fret my boys, and when that glorious day happens, I will be the first to change my score from a 7 to a higher score. All we need is patience and in my humble opinion, we should all just be happy we are even allowed to play the game... even in the state its in... instead of seeing another scary "Delay Email" again. Some of the quest blockers can be cleared by re-loading your save game, but during "The Heist" quest, I have actually come across a total of 3 unpreventable, game-breaking bugs that revolve around Jackie walking through floors or disappearing whenever youI am on Series X and I want to give this game a 9/10, but I can't - it is way too buggy and I've experienced multiple quest-blockers. Some of the quest blockers can be cleared by re-loading your save game, but during "The Heist" quest, I have actually come across a total of 3 unpreventable, game-breaking bugs that revolve around Jackie walking through floors or disappearing whenever you move away from him (like you're looking around or looting the rooms for items). After a point where you jack in and steal the stuff you were trying to steal, the quest says "Follow Jackie" but he's below you, as he walked through the floor and the briefcase is suspended in mid-air. There's no way to finish the quest now. At earlier times, if you went to loot rooms like the bar on the first floor or your own suite, he would disappear and elevators and other quest-forwarding interactions would be disabled because Jackie is no longer with you.

    Honestly, I could tolerate my character being bald whenever I equipped a helmet, or the bodies floating in the air as if they were suspended in zero gravity, or the constant flickering of assets... but I cannot tolerate game-breaking bugs that can destroy an entire playthrough.

    Shame on CDPR for releasing the game like this. It needed 6+ months more of development and testing. There is no excuse for this. I can't even progress my story now because of these bugs and my game is broken. What a waste of money.    … Expand

I can't fathom how people did not expect some bugs on launch in one of the most ambitious games ever created. CDPR has knocked it out of the park once again.

    A very good game. Very extensive and addictive. Unfortunately, it still suffers from many bigger and smaller bugs, but I hope the developer will deal with them successfully with a few fixes.

I'm playing on an Xbox One S and it's not the worst thing in the world like some people are claiming. I mean I still think it would be better if I was playing it on a Xbox Series X, or even if II'm having a lot of fun and yeah some of this stuff is busted, but it's getting fixed.     I almost wish I were under 17, so my parents could stop me from playing it, as I really do find it that boring. I get it, there are fans of the genre, and    I play this on the Xbox Series X, and I have to say...     On xbox one its almost unplayable at launch animations dont load half the time, textures take forever to load in and when they do they are horrible, the game seems to be playing in a really low resolution, there is no excuse for this and it needs to be fixed immediately.

    I really enjoyed this game and can highly recommend this game for anyone who can play it on the xbox series x.

    I actually experienced no glitches or hiccups. I was playing it on an xbox series x and my experience was very smooth and great. The story line was very engaging and I had a lot of fun with this game.

    I was so hyped to play this game and as soon as i loaded up into the city, the game started to dip to below 20 fps... and it remains equal to or below that number thoughout your whole experience in the city. I know that people were begging for the game and CDPR felt pressure to release the game but it really needed a few more months at the minimum before release.     Blurry, low resolution textures, crashes when entering large building too quickly, freezes in gun/fist fights, t-posing NPCs, invisible objects pop in 30 seconds too late exploding your car, missing dialog in cut scenes, frame rates as low as 10-15. This game is not meant for base xbox consoles, should not have been released/certified for them, and refunds should be issued.

    Not even playable since I have a base Xbox One. Performanc, texture, and rendering problem especially in the city. Because of this I decided to refund the game and wait till I get a PC to truly enjoy the game. Guess itit's technically another delay for me lol

    I have been playing for over 10h and I have experienced only a single crash (base Xbox one). Most criticism are correct, but not accurate or at least, they do not represent my playthrough. The awful textures from NPC are present, as they can take a bit of time to load, disappointing, but far from game breaking. Frame rate drops are very rare (at least to the point it is noticeable), itI have been playing for over 10h and I have experienced only a single crash (base Xbox one). I believe the biggest criticism is around the marketing. They have been presenting a vibrant NC, when in truth it is rather barren. But to be honest, I am not really disappointed. I'm used to the incredible "in game video" used for marketing that look incredible, when in truth it is fairly ordinary. As such, my expectation for CP were similar and I expected a very tone down city and graphics. The story is incredible and very engaging. I have never been so invested in the events of a game. The shooting is ok and sufficient for an RPG. I would recommend this game on Xbox one to anyone who asked, assuming they can distinct marketing from reality. It is a far from a flawless game and anyone giving a 10/10 is a ignoring its unpolished state, but nevertheless it remains a very entertaining experience.… Expand

    With the new hot fix that came out, the game runs fine now! Also the time and effort that went into this game is clearly shown, besides all the bugs witch i haven't noticed a whole lot, rendering could be better, also not a good port for last gen ill be honest. But besides all that love the game, lots of fun, and awesome story. Intriguing and really good voice actors.

    This ain’t it, chief. Playtime on the Xbox one x is over 15 hours. Check me out if you want to qualify. I’ve played with Xbox since the first gen of their hardware. How can this be acceptable? It’s a Horribly optimized trash show. It tires so hard and constantly crashes in a burning heap for a game that runs and has options like it’s 2012.

    Meh plus, very overrated runs well on series x but what's the point it's just bland on bland playing a few days now and couldn't care if any character lives or dies. As open-world games go it's so very linear sure you can go anywhere but there is nothing to do, needed to be delayed another year or two.

    Lamentável lançarem um jogo neste estado, foram 7 anos em desenvolvimento, infelizmente só quem tem um PC bem parrudo ou a nova geração de consoles em mãos irá conseguir rodar e jogar este jogo sem os Crashes, sem os Bugs, sem a *fog que está deixando o jogo borrado, e principalmente sem a dublagem no Xbox one, em fim, o jogo saiu quebrado.

    Simply put, the game is unplayable. PS2 era graphics are present 70% of the time. In rare instances, scripted dialogue scenes get into the late Xbox 360 generation, but its just straight up dog **** Driving is almost impossible due to pop in issues. There are almost no cars or pedestrians on the street, and when there are, it takes 5-15 seconds for them to load in. CDPR deserves whatever criticism they receive. My expectation was that the differences in performance for this game would be similar to the differences between a Xbox and PC on a game like GTA 5. Instead, I would brand the graphics in the game's current form as......colors.

    Bare in mind, this is coming from someone who exclusively grew up playing buggy Bethesda games on old hardware. I could tolerate what were considered "game breaking bugs" long ago. That being said, the bugs and performance present at launch in those games cannot even be compared to this train wreck. I feel like I paid to to watch a high budget Hollywood movie, only to receive a copy of a middle school production of a play from Thailand Absolute scam and shame on the developers.    … Expand

    Assassin's Creed Unity would like its glitches and bugs back. Honestly I adore CDPR but this is a disappointment my friends. Note that I am only about 5 hours in. There is room to improve the state of this game but it should not have released as it is by any measure.

    How i am suppose to rate the game If its Impossible to play on my Xbox like Full price for nothing and cant do the refound....

    It’s because of this fun gameplay and this great story that it’s such a shame Cyberpunk 2077 performs like it’s still in alpha.

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
