    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is in an absolute horrible state for the Xbox One S. I am stuck on the heist mission on my nomad playthrough. It'll go through the sequence and right when Jackie dies it crashes the game. I tried playing that mission 20 or so tries and everytime it would crash. I then had to delete the entire game and redownload it just to bypass the crash point. It makes no sense on how there are games that look just as good or better on xbox like gta 5 or RDR2. There just isn't an excuse when it started in 2012, before the xbox and ps4 released and then to have it in the state it's currently in. They even had their motto when asked when they were going to release it and it was: "We'll release it when its ready". This game doesn't in any form look ready. And even when bringing up the point that it's an "8 year old console" isn't acceptable and those people are the problem because if it runs this bad and wasnt even optimized then they shouldn't have even released it to xbox one or ps4. They in fact shouldn't have even made a release date till there was just bugs in the game to fix not this graphical pile of crap.… Expand

    Game desastroso, simplesmente horrível, todo bugado, não tem nitidez, cores horrorosas, textura não carrega, crasha o tempo inteiro, não tem dublagem Brasileira, game horrível, pior experiência que tive nós vídeo game, não compre, não se frusta com esse jogo.

I have watched the evolution of both PC and console games over my years a gamer. Cyberpunk was a D&D orI play on a XBSX - Xbox series X and I purchased the Next Gen console to play Cyberpunk 2077. I knew in order to play a game with this caliber of graphics and deep details a fast processing chip or a CPU was needed along with Ram, Random Access Memory. I started playing games in 1981. I have watched the evolution of both PC and console games over my years a gamer. Cyberpunk was a D&D or Roleplaying game played with paper pencils and and imagination. When I heard my favorite game was coming to PC and console seven years ago I was beyond exited. After the long wait of just seven years I am completely blown away by the details of Cyberpunk 2077. Please don’t judge this Next Generation game poorly because you are not playing it on a newer console. The original creator of Cyberpunk 2020 Mike Pondsmith worked side by side with CD Project Red on this game. I know my fellow CP2020 Roleplaying friends would agree with me 100% on this game. This is our game and our imagination of a world that has truly come to life. In closing, again please don’t give a game low marks because you don’t have the proper hardware to play it.     While Cyberpunk 2077 has many bugs and glitches, one can look past that and see the beauty of the world and the immersive experience that world creates. Playing on Xbox One X has been an alright experience, if you have a base model console maybe wait and see on this game as it is not optimized well for those systems. Overall pretty good time if you can tolerate a bit of a buggy experience.

    Pra vc ter ideia do quão ruim está o jogo no xbox one X, o jogo está sem áudio da voz dos personagens, eles tbm nao mexem a boca. Tem que usar as legendas. Espere sair no gamepass pois o jogo vai fracassar tanto que provavelmente acaba por lá.

    New games with scope like this have bugs on release. That is to be expected. Throwing a fit and review bombing it is similarly also expected, albeit incredibly petty. Ignore the people throwing childish tantrums, the game is - exceptional. The side quests are incredibly well written, devised and nuanced. The world is vast and interesting.     The performance mode frame number on xsx is very unstable, and the resolution is very low, there are many bugs, and the operation feel is very uncomfortable. I was very angry because I had been waiting for eight years.

    Life is night city vibrant, rich and thrilling and you can always move the badlands in case you're looking for a break. The game's combat system, mechanics and the art of story telling is just exactly where you'd from CDPR. There's a lot of detail to every character and a lot you can explore within each character of the game. The bugs really ruined the game for me in the first played but after 1.0.4 patch, things got a lot better. Really wishes bugs would be there as less as possible. I played it on Xbox Series so at least it ran the game fairly well, mostly 60 fps but there are some texture gliches still present. But kudos to CDPR for pulling off a good game but really poor about the amount of bugs.… Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 has potential that the majority of players will never see. The story introduces you to multiple interesting characters, and the game-play can seem at some points to be close to enjoyable. That is all the pros, both of which are immediately disregarded as the state of the game on Old-Gen consoles is despicable. For a game to have supposedly been in development for 7/8 years,Cyberpunk 2077 has potential that the majority of players will never see. Insanely high count of bugs, lack of any reasonable resolution, a framerate that rarely reaches above 25 fps (can sit at 10-15 during intense sequences) and a multitude of crashes causes Cyberpunk to be the most unplayable game on the Xbox One I have experienced. I fear CD Projekt Red has tarnished their once great reputation, as I don't believe any amount of patches will restore this, even if it does make the game playable for the masses. Disappointed I wasted 7 years of excitement for this pathetic excuse for a game.… Expand

    Oversold and underperformed. Was never fit for release on current gen consoles despite it being designed for them. Wouldn’t have been so bad if they had been honest about it, but it was kept shrouded in secrecy right up until release. Probably to make their money back?

    I have had a blast playing it on xbox one and i can live with a few bugs. But the worst part is that they totally scammed console players. There is no way its a 10 but i guess people are brainwashed by the company which they owe nothing to and just showed that they are as money hungry as any company.

    Playing on Xbox Series X and overall the game has been enjoyable. The story is great and I have enjoyed the missions where I have mixed it up with stealth and gun fights. I'm really looking forward to the patch for the Series consoles as I think this will make the world more immersive (More like you see on the higher spec PC's) but still it is a great game. I have seen some bugs duringPlaying on Xbox Series X and overall the game has been enjoyable. The story is great and I have enjoyed the missions where I have mixed it up with stealth and gun fights.     Had this game been released by any other developer/publisher (Bethesda, EA, Activision, etc...) there would have been UPROAR. The game runs EXTREMELY poorly on the Xbox One S

    Played on Xbox One X, the frames dropped in some areas and had some bugs on the day of release. Two days later patch 1.04 was released and now it works and looks great! Story and gameplay are amazing.

Valhalla had true bugs, quests breaking half way through, entire quest lines never triggering, pets running offYes, there are glitches, but nothing I have experienced has stopped my enjoyment of the game. Maybe it’s a case of managed expectations, as I am playing on an original Xbox One and I know it can’t cope with this game. AC’s Valhalla almost overheated my xbox, but Cyberpunk hasn’t. Valhalla had true bugs, quests breaking half way through, entire quest lines never triggering, pets running off into the words preventing you ending the quest, and I’ve had 5 fps during raids. Cyberpunk has none of this. Graphical glitches last a fraction of a second while assets load, bad textures, popping textures, NPC appearing in-frame, all minor. I get a slight frame drop in the badlands (long horizon shots slow me up) but the city area has been fine. The reason this is a 9 for me and not a 10, is the restricted romance options. One per gender/orientation is a disappointment. But the game is massive and exciting, the emotions got me from the start. Yes, it’s a slow burn, but I plan on taking my time with this massive RPG, not rushing through it. I’m loving my time as V, and the minor graphical hiccups aren’t going to ruin an amazing story and fascinating world.… Expand

A masterpiece as an RPG with all the editable stuff, crafting and level progression options. This is the most complex open world game with a lot of different npc and densely populated streets.     I can live with the crap graphics but the glitches and sometimes unplayable framerate just breaks it for me. It crashed twice in a few hours. The game is great on pc, one x, ps4 pro and next gen consoles but at least for now hold off on these base consoles versions until they roll some patches out

Pop in and out constantly, characters talking but mouths not moving, textures not loading, characters dissappearing or t posing, stupid ai. Character close ups look awkward and unreal. This game is not as good on the Series X as some have claimed.     I have played IT on Xbox series x and i have no problemy with freezes and few bugs. The world od fantastic.jackie and Johnny arę great characters and the story od great.

    The game runs quite smooth on my Xbox Series X (60fps). There are some minor graphics glitches and I got some occasional freezes for about 5 sec (screen and controls just freeze but music is still playing). Story and overall playing experience is just great. The city is huge and really dense. I love it and waiting for patches and next gen improvements.

Unica cosa che posso capire e capisco, è che se gioco 3 ore e vedi dei bug dovuti alla console di vecchia generazione e ti blocchi nell'andare avanti... però calma ragazzi e BM vediamo di essere seri e almeno essere umili ed aspettare.     I get that the game doesn’t run all that well on the Xbox but come on these scores are score bombing and that takes money away from CDPRs team. So, I love this game. I knew going in it wasn’t gunna run all that great at first but it hasn’t ruined my love for the game.

Running around the city causes catastrophic drops in FPS to the point you will want to stop the game. I will be refunding the game on Xbox store. I'll wait to play it on next gen when I can get one.     Play on an Xbox One X or higher, DO NOT try to run such a demanding game on a p.o.s. base model. The game is amazing! A few glitches here or there, but if you remember The Witcher 3 when it came out, that game wasn’t perfect either. The hate for this game comes from idiots that try to run it on base model consoles.

    I had just purchased my xbox one s a few months before this review, so this is running on almost new hardware.
    As I downloaded the game I was very skeptical at how little space this game took considering all of the shown game play before release. I was told there would be a day 1 patch to fix all of the issues plaguing leaked copies and early reviews, but nope. No day 1 patch, and three    I had just purchased my xbox one s a few months before this review, so this is running on almost new hardware.
    As I downloaded the game I was very skeptical at how little space this game took considering all of the shown game play before release. I was told there would be a day 1 patch to fix all of the issues plaguing leaked copies and early reviews, but nope. No day 1 patch, and three days later there is still no word on any fix on this platform.
    I have no expectations when it comes to graphics. When it comes to rpgs all I want is decent performance and a good story. Cyberpunk, however, makes 2008's hit GTAIV look like 2020's game of the year 12 years later.
    Constant frame rate dump in any non scripted areas plague the game almost immediately, while at the same time not rendering a good chunk of textures by the time I can google 'is this normal?' I could technically be blamed for running outdated hardware on an outdated television, but I feel a game released on disc, as a finished title, should at least be playable if not a little scaled down.

    This game has so much potential even in this state. If they continue working post launch I believe I can come back and update my review to reflect this. Until then, playing on PC is the only way you should be playing this game.    … Expand

    Play the xbox one game on a series s. It runs surprisingly well, resolution isn't that good but I didn't experienced a lot of bugs. in these 3 days I played my game crashed one Time that's all. Story is very good.

    I'm here 8 hours in on my Series S with solid performance, hardly any bugs to speak of and I think it looks pretty damn good. Perhaps I've got lucky please jump on in.
    Apparently it runs on Stadia pretty well.

    Just appalling... I think everyone know a by now what is wrong with this massively ambitious and misleading AAA title. Very VERY disappointed in CDPR’s dishonesty and willingness to release a game in this utterly broken state. What a shame. Awful, DO NOT BUY!

I would point a gun at the npc and they would just stare at me. Other times if I shot someone in broad daylight some npcs would have no reaction. Last thing I wanted to point out was the law enforcement.     Truly a disappointment. I will never be buying a CD Project Red game on release again.

    Some may say you should never buy a game on day one, but if anyone could have made a game worth buying on release day, I thought it would have been them.

    The game is great. I've been having a blast since I pressed start the first time. I have the xbox one X and the performance isn't too bad. It freezes sometimes and has crashed one time so far.

    After hotfix 1.04, the game is still graphically bad on Xbox One. Everything is still fuzzy. The only thing that is clear is the interface.

    The story is pretty solid. It is pretty confusing in the beginning due to lack of explanation. Combat is fun.

    Many people give very low rate for bugs. But they forget that cyberpunk is game of the year for its gameplay. Sometime one little choise has impact on many other things... I also think game should be olny for new, xbox series x and ps5 consoles and pc. Old generation has nor enough horse power. 1.8 teraflop is not enough... Thats the problem

    This is unfortunate as the gameplay is actually good but is held back by the aforementioned issues. I been playing a stealth build. Hacking cameras and tagging enemies can be fun. In the last mission I silently took out a gangster guarding a side entrance, snuck into the building and collected a mission item then quietly made my escape. The map is loaded with side missions like that and are generally fun to play.

    Sadly the game is neither optimized for last gen or current gen consoles so I am not sure what CDPR‘S aim was here other than to let us all down at once. This is inexcusable when Rockstar was able to deliver a good and stable GTA 5 on the Xbox 360 then a couple years later release an Xbox One version. Why CDPR did not follow that template by first releasing on the XB1 followed a year or two later to the current gen hardware is a mystery to me.

    This is an epic fail for CDPR that needs to be remedied ASAP! If not I see a class action lawsuit in their future. Charging a premium price for a buggy broken game while hiding these issues until post-release is criminal.

Those things may take me out of the experience for a short period of time but not too long later I'm sucked right back into the experience, I'm very much enjoying the game.     Play on Series X. Game is really fun and emersive. Bugs every so often, but the dev team is working their butts off to patch those....the game is huge with a ton of stuff to do.

    Most negative reviews are upset redditors...don't get turned off by the echo-chambering review bombing.

    I understand this game was not going to run amazingly on last-gen hardware, Xbox One and PS4 players were not expecting a 60FPS next-gen experience, I understand that this game is incredibly demanding and what CDPR set out to do was very ambitious. However, I expected the game to at least work decently, because it was advertised for Xbox One and PS4 consoles in the first place. The fact that CDPR purposely prevented any reviewers from playing the console versions exhibits false advertising in my opinion, they purposely hid the console gameplay because they knew how bad it was. This was a very low move for a company that many people praise as consumer-friendly.

    Like I said, the game itself is good. I've been trying to deal with the terrible performance and bugs, and I do see that CDPR has crafted a really great world here. The writing is great, the atmosphere is very intriguing, and the quests are fun. Although I can't give this game any higher than a 3 in its current state, there's a great game here but unfortunately last-gen console players (who either don't have the money to upgrade or simply can't find a console due to scalpers) are going to have to play it in a completely unoptimized state.    … Expand

    I'm playing on the Xbox One X and I've honestly only had a few minor glitches. Im a sims 4 player so I guess I've learned patients lol but honestly this game is great. Captivating story line fun shooter, and cool mods. I love it. Wish more people could play honestly.

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
