    I played on Xbox One S.
    The game is a HUGE disappointment on consoles. It is especially awful due to new policy of Metacritic that I could only NOW post my review.
    I can’t remember such a bad console version, wait, not bad, but disgusting console version! It is so blurry, muddy and lagging that it gives me eye and headache. In it current state the game is not more then a 5 on consoles,    I played on Xbox One S.

    This is the greatest scam of the 8th generation of video game consoles.
    This game was the only one I decided to preorder in the past years… Well done CDPR. Will never preorder again.

    I can't even install this **** Xbox One second disc does absolutely nothing when inserted, exchanged for another set of discs and again disc 2 does not work, I am not the only one, **** stupid. Going to use the damn money I spent on this game and get Watchdogs, so good job pushing me towards a different developer.

    Игра банально устарела. Много старых механик по типу системы лута. Игра отсталая даже в плане визуала. У людей банально нету волос на теле, кроме головы и паха, так как это нужно было-бы прорабатывать. Интервейс перегружен. Экономика сломана. Телефонные разговоры идут параллельно с диалогами НПС Это все касалось    Сюжет захватывающий, геймплей и боевка хорошие. Игра динамичная.
    НО:

    Это все касалось конструктива. А теперь техническая часть:
    Обидно, что играя на «самой мощеной консоли в мире» игра за 15 часов игры вылетела 10 раз.
    Не одноразово картинка останавливалась на 10 секунд а звук продолжал идти.
    Много визуальный багов.
    Я купил две копии игры и поддержал разрабов, игра интересная но сырая.
    Через год пройду игру во второй раз и напишу новый обзор положительный обзор если все пофиксят.
    К сожалению пока-что это провал.    … Expand

    Luckily I got a refund and got my money back! Imagine actually paying to beta test this absolute GARBAGE GAME. I am never buying a CDPR product ever again. Not only is the game full of bugs and glitches, the game design elements are also extremely boring. Bullet sponge enemies, boring gunplay and fetch quests, huge fail.

    a game that doesn’t work on the Xbox, in addition to the various bugs, dubbing in Brazilian Portuguese doesn’t work, it’s just dumb. it would be much more decent to have postponed for another 2 years but to have delivered a decent product. great disrespect for the consumer.

    Me siento engañado,como si me hubieran timado. Los gráficos son penosos,de un juego de ps3,el editor no es la panacea como mencionaban ellos...es todo una fachada,el juego esta muy detallado! Y UN CUERNO!! Npcs moviendose como locos,aliados apuntando a las a las paredes... muy devcepcionado...

    This game with such an extensive character creator in the world of Cyberpunk does not have a third person view, it is unacceptable for me. In addition, the game is practically unplayable.

    This is just scam, nothing more. Fake "actual gameplay footage" videos, no console reviews and no reaction to current outrage, still hoping that they will scam more people of their money... They just sold their souls, I won't buy any of their games anymore unless they take corrective actions really soon.

    Um dos poucos jogos que comprei na pré venda e tomei no rabokkkkkkk, o 3 vai porque o jogo em si é divertido e apresenta uma boa narrativa, mas o port tá completamente cagado, sei que tinha a pressão do público e etc pra lançar logo o jogo, mas seria mil vezes melhor ter adiado mais uma vez do que trazer essa bela bosta

    It shouldn't, but I will ignore all the bugs and crashes of the game in my assessment. The stories of side and main missions are incredible. All thanks to the charisma of each character. But unfortunately, the game will only be remembered for the bug crash at launch.

    The performance is terrible, I really loved the intro but after that, the graphics are blurry, I cannot even play it for two minutes whitout having bugs or glitches. So sad for a really good game but a mediocre perfomance

    This should never have been released on base consoles, it's a complete mess and is pretty much unplayable. It is worse than when Black Ops 3 was brought out for the 360, I honestly never thought I would ever say that. The fact CDPR never showed gameplay running on the base consoles prior to release shows they were well aware of how bad it was but they didn't care and wanted the pre-orderThis should never have been released on base consoles, it's a complete mess and is pretty much unplayable. It is worse than when Black Ops 3 was brought out for the 360, I honestly never thought I would ever say that. The fact CDPR never showed gameplay running on the base consoles prior to release shows they were well aware of how bad it was but they didn't care and wanted the pre-order money and numbers, a strong warning prior would have very much mitigated all the negativity. It's disgusting, disappointing and they should be ashamed of themselves. Lastly I feel sorry for the employees who worked so hard for 8 years for it to be rushed at the final hurdle and have this put out on consoles, I'd be very angry/upset if I was a CDPR employee right now.… Expand

The AI is awful, The UI is some of the worst I've ever seen, Night City feels completely soulless, the voice acting is hit or miss, enemies are absolute bullet sponges, the animations tend to be pretty choppy, cops spawn behind you if you do something naughty, there is no driving AI other than simple predetermined NPCThis game is a mess. Every game mechanic is either average or terrible. NPC's clipping through walls, flying through the air, T posing, frozen, etc. Textures flashing, the camera somehow getting detached from my character's head, terrible world seams, lootable items that can't be picked up. I'm averaging at least one bug a minute, it's just an absolute mess. I'm hoping CDPR will fix some of the bugs and game mechanics in the next few months, but right now this game is not worth the price of admission.… Expand

    Very bad game mechanics, almost the same as Witcher 3 5 years ago. Downgraded grapchics like there is 2012 and Deus Ex: HR bootleg on Xbx 360 came out, but even in Deus Ex: HR the graphics were better.

Found a few bugs on my own, namely NPCs falling through a floor, quest that won't progress, V moving despite me not touching the controller because *before* I loaded into the area I pushed    Sadly, right now on Xbox One S it's unplayable. Just unplayable.

    Incredible lag, textures taking too long to load, glitches, bugs, etc. Sometimes it freezes up to 20 seconds. The game is good, but too exigent for this generation.

    Esperava muito pouco do jogo sinceramente, desde quando foi anunciado o game não botava fé alguma mas o final me ganhou totalmente, estou chorando feito uma criança nesse exato momento. Tive várias experiências de bugs e o jogo crashou diversas vezes, porém tenho fé que a CD vai consertar esse jogo fazendo um patch ou algo do gênero, mas enfim o jogo é sensacional e merece 10 de 10

    Boring buggy unfinished trash, avoid at all costs. Poor mans borderlands (looter shooter) with even worse driving, npcs are lifeless open world is a hallway full of locked doors. Repetitive Mmo fetch quests.

    Yes, I've seen the gameplay on poor hardware - it doesn't look good, as there are tons of assets to be loaded, so they had to make a quality compromise. maybe you should invest in better hardware instead of complaining.
    The game is not as good as the Witcher 3, but surely has a great potential.

    Then there's the graphics, laughably bad textures, locations feel empty. Then there's the bugs, my character got stuck moving in different directions after conversations. Why in gods name is 'x' the action button on Xbox? A is pretty much universally that function, you can probably remap it but why? Just going against the grain for the sake of it.

    I said it before the last delay that it was shaping up to be an overhyped turd and sadly that's the case. I won't seek a refund as i'm hoping it'll be much improved when it should've been released - 6 months down the line.    … Expand

However, the writing, the quests, and the systems/RPG elements just click for me. The gender representation (in specific regards to Trans and Queer folk) definitely warrants discussion, and the **** of AsianYes, it is buggy and the textures are not great. I've been fortunate to not experience any game breaking bugs as of yet, and sometimes the degraded quality of the images bums a bit. However, the writing, the quests, and the systems/RPG elements just click for me.     On xBox One X it is impossible to play this game. Textures are tragic, FPS is so low you can see frames. NPC, levitating cars, etc. So many glitches it is impossible to continue playing. Game returned to this after few hours of playing. No fun at all.

CDPR repeatedly gave us letters signed by the Co-founder and the lead developer telling us that delays were part of the process and this game would be released on DAY ONE working WELL. Look up the letter..they quote the phrase "Ready when it's done".

    They pushed it further. CDPR even stated that it would run ‘surprisingly well’ on the older consoles. Where's the integrity? Why lie to us? To make a quick buck and make the investors happy.    … Expand

It seems like a cash grab with the obvious outcome of a lot of angry purchasers -- which seems to be how some of the bigger publishers are taking advantage of the hype of the title. This social media apologies that surely will follow seems counterintuitive to a positive company brand -- ask EA and Bethesda.

    The best approach would have to been very upfront about the poor graphics to set expectations -- or even better -- promote it with the next gen consoles. I remember when Xbox 360 and Xbox One had two releases tuned to each platform for the best experience. This essentially makes you immediately regret not having anything close the visuals you have seen on a PC with top notch video cards. It's nothing close to what was demoed for months.

    I found this game pretty good, the story, gameplay and the Characters. The performance is not good (right now) I really hope they will patch the game and fix the issues. This game so great.

    Cyberpunk 2077 reminds me why I usually do not preorder.

    I preordered the game based upon the strength of the Witcher 3 which was a masterpiece. Sadly CP2077 is far from even being a good game as is. The graphics are a blurry mess, the colors are washed out and the frame rate is so low that gameplay feels sluggish.     This is unfortunate as the gameplay is actually good but is held back by the aforementioned issues. I been playing a stealth build. Hacking cameras and tagging enemies can be fun. In the last mission I silently took out a gangster guarding a side entrance, snuck into the building and collected a mission item then quietly made my escape. The map is loaded with side missions like that and are generally fun to play.

    Sadly the game is neither optimized for last gen or current gen consoles so I am not sure what CDPR‘S aim was here other than to let us all down at once. This is inexcusable when Rockstar was able to deliver a good and stable GTA 5 on the Xbox 360 then a couple years later release an Xbox One version. Why CDPR did not follow that template by first releasing on the XB1 followed a year or two later to the current gen hardware is a mystery to me.

    This is an epic fail for CDPR that needs to be remedied ASAP! If not I see a class action lawsuit in their future. Charging a premium price for a buggy broken game while hiding these issues until post release is criminal.

    Xbox Series S: This game plays and looks great on the XSS. Even though the XSS is playing the One S version right now, it doesn’t feel like the one s version. The frame rate stays at 30fps even on the very intense moments. It looks very clear. Billboards and graffiti are not blurry. The story for the game is fun with a lot of action. This game definitely feels and plays like a next-genXbox Series S: This game plays and looks great on the XSS. It’s playable with these bugs but sometimes bugs such as objects and people appearing out of nowhere, enemies being unaware of you and etc. Also, why is Night City so empty.     J’ai dû créer un compte spécialement pour les critiques de ce jeu, c’est la première fois que je met un avis sur metacritic, en tant que joueur, je ne demande pas monde et merveille, mais juste pouvoir JOUER à ce jeu correctement.. hélas ce n’est pas le cas, Cd Project est tombé très très bas au yeux des joueurs.

    Et de l’embargo pour les testeurs qui n’avaient pas le droit de montrer des tests de version PS4/One on en parle ? Une censure de la part de CD Project, car eux même savaient que le jeu n’était pas prêt.. Quel mensonge, tout simplement honteux..

    Je ne sais même plus quoi dire tellement je suis déçu, je met un 2 juste pour la bande son et l’ambiance qui est présent... Mais tout le reste c’est poubelle..

    Absolute mess of a game that fails at everything it tries. Dead open world, terrible AI, terrible gameplay, shallow RPG mechanics, pointless crafting system. Performance and visuals are awful, and it's full of game breaking bugs.

    Terrible graphics on Xbox Series X. The same run and gun formula we have had for years. Nothing to do in the city but piss people off and get shot at, or try some of the broken side missions.

    I thought the Witcher 3 had issues at launch but man.... this game is a mess.

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
