    If I got give halo 3 a 20/10 I would it is that good this game is my child hood for a reason IT has an epic campaign and a even more epic split screen really you cant get much better then halo 3 please play this game it is great it get's a 10/10 from me.

    Such an amazing conclusion to the Halo series! Thank god that no other publishing company will ever buy out the rights to the series and make a bunch of terrible sequels that ruin the legacy of the series.

    This game is the best halo game without question the campaign was amazing and has lots of replay value. The characters are great and the combat is very fun, this game doesn't suffer the same problem as halo 2 when it comes to difficulty so playing it on higher difficulties is much more enjoyable. The only part of the campaign I didn't enjoy was the mission cortana were you are in a ship toThis game is the best halo game without question the campaign was amazing and has lots of replay value. The characters are great and the combat is very fun, this game doesn't suffer the same problem as halo 2 when it comes to difficulty so playing it on higher difficulties is much more enjoyable. The only part of the campaign I didn't enjoy was the mission cortana were you are in a ship to rescue cortana. This mission was to repetitive and difficult but it was still pretty enjoyable. The multiplayer is the most perfected a halo multiplayer has ever been it doesn't suffer from halo 5s pay to win design and has the best learning curve.… Expand

    One of the greatest games of all time. Campaign alone was worth the price. U tack on the multiplayer, forge, and split-screen and you got yourself a game you can play for the rest of your life with unlimited possibilities.

I played this game back in 2011 when my parents bought me XBOX 360 on my birthday. I remember playing this game with my friends using the split-screen on my birthday. One of the best memories of my life. This is such a nostalgic experience for me.

    Not a single game in my life gave me so many options in it's first initial presentation. The campaign, custom games, matchmaking, forge, theater. JESUS CHRIST. This game is LOADED with content.

    INTERFACE:

    When you first boot up Halo 3 you are greeted with it's iconic and stunning main menu. Through 8 years of playing Halo 3 I've come to appreciate how amazing it is. The dark blue vibe, the banshees flying over and that mysterious forerunner artifact in the middle of the African desert send chills down my spine every freaking time! I absolutely adore the simplistic interface and font of the main menu. Everything is simple, cinematic and memorable. There is nothing like it. It is Halo 3.

    GRAPHICS:

    Halo 3 is The In my opinion it is a testament to how good the graphics hold to this day. I honestly don't even need Halo 3 remake. Well... Maybe just the cutscenes :3

    ART:

    The art-style of Halo 3 gives a vibe of ancient, epic and mysterious like nothing else. Emphasis on EPIC this time around. The amazing world of Halo was never this big. The scale, the epicness of this game IS UNFATHOMABLE! You can feel like you're in the middle of a huge war!

    SOUND:

    I gotta mention the sound effects used in this game. I love the H3 weapon sounds the most. Out of all 13 games (2018) Halo 3 was the best for me. The guns aren't to obnoxious like in Halo 4-5 but not too stiff like in H1 or H2. It's just perfect here. It feels just right.

    MUSIC:

    Martin O'Donnell made one of the best if not the BEST soundtrack in any game ever! The unforgettable Halo theme is always present. But what I actually adore the most is a clever use of the old tracks in a new feel. Which doesn't feel like a pandering but rather a love letter to fans. It was such an amazing feeling to hear the classic soundtrack one last time before the inevitable end of Halo trilogy.

    CAMPAIGN:

    FINISH THE FIGHT! This was the slogan for Halo 3's campaign. So did the Bungie delivered on the promise? Did they actually made an acceptable title to end the beloved series? Or did they screw it up??? Well... Let's just say that they crafted THE BEST CAMPAIGN TO END ALL FPS CAMPAIGNS EVER!!! The unforgettable events that happened in this game can be just described as magnificence, the glorious battles, unbelievable places, twists and turns everywhere. I can safely say that this is a PERFECT way to end the series. The ending of Halo 3 will melt any Halo fan's heart. This is a love letter from Bungie to all the fans. Don't forget to trigger LEGENDARY ENDING! The Chief and Cortana are still alive. For me Chief is still out there, drifting in space. Dreaming. And one day we will need him. But not the way 343 did it. That's for sure.

    MULTIPLAYER:

    This time around Bungie added 5 NEW MODES! SWAT, Juggernaut, VIP, Territorries and Infection. AND THE INFAMOUS INFECTION OH MY GOD. I have never had so much fun in any game PERIOD. It is the best in the series in my humble opinion.    … Expand

    Halo 3 is a very memorable game to date, as it is a true successor to it's roots as Halo Combat Evolved brought something to the table, and Halo 2 used everything halo ce had, but added other stuff to make it a great sequel. Halo 3 does all that, and improves and excels in many things. Halo 3 has the best replayibility to offer in any game for me. Graphics are great for 2007, gameplay and combat is easily the best. Soundtrack is amazing and something you would hear a lot unlike other games where just synths and some drums would play and annoy you. One thing I don't really like about the campaign us that it's 10 missions, but for some reason the 1st mission is just litereeally a cutscene. It's the shortest game in the trilogy but length time could vary depending on difficulty skill and understanding of the levels of the game. Another thing I don't like is that sometimes you don't really know what you're really doing in the missions, and how they have anything to do with the story. but I'm not totally saying the story is bad, story is pretty good. I think one of the reasons is that it's a little too militaristic and confuses people. Well, campaign is great, as it is my favourite one. One of the things that halo 3 is known for is it's excellent multiplayer. Maps are cool. lotta cool gamemodes and more. Multiplayer is awesome as well. theater mode is just... you gotta check it out... I'm giving this game a 10, as it is my favourite video game ever.… Expand

    Everything good about the Halo franchise is in this game. This is one of the few games that, despite having a great multiplayer, what really kept drawing me back in was the story. Awesome combat, beautiful visuals (especially in cutscenes), a functional and very fun map editor, and a great multiplayer experience made this Halo's flagship game.

    This was the First Halo game I played and it got me into the Franchise and became my favourite game of all time and that of which I purposely bought the master chief collection on Xbox 1 just to have it on my Xbox along with 1&2 and unfortunately Halo 4. But Halo 3 would be a game that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great shooter.

    Still the best Halo game to date. The introduction of forge and a larger emphasis on custom games made this worth picking up. The campaign while short is an epic finale to one of the best trilogies in the video game industry.

    This is alongside Gears of War 2 the game that brought me to Xbox, i love this game, the ending from the first trilogy with the iconic supersoldier Master Chief, this is beyond good and evil. MASTERPIECE.

    This game is truly a masterpiece. Pretty much about this game was done right. The campaign is good, forge is excellent, and the multiplayer is truly the best out of every Halo game. The only thing that is even slightly bad is the messed up net code online. But apart from that, this game is the best shooter out there by far.     The best Halo game without a doubt. In Halo 2 people hated the sniper jackals, they added lights to them and made there snipers a two shot kill. in Halo 2 people found the arbiter sections boring (I personally disagree) removed. The best halo game for multiplayer, and campaign with a satisfying ending and an addictive multiplayer. Graphics have aged surprisingly well.

It feels like after the development hell that was Halo 2, they all sat down in a room, looked at each other and said "okay, let's not bite off more than we can chew, let's define a more reasonable scope for Halo 3". And it shows. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, having a tighter scope allowed them to focus and polish better, and have a proper ending -- but I do miss the variety of 2.    … Expand

For one, the story finishes the original trilogy of the Halo franchise and ends it off on a note that was really good, and while I didn’t like it as much as Halo 2, I still love it. This game also has a bunch of beautiful details making the game easy to speed-run. The multiplayer is superb, with the awesome new additions of equipment which can be activated using the X button. there are over 30 game-modes and over 10 initial maps and more then double with DLC. You can make your own game-modes and multiplayer maps in the forge and custom games menu. you can share them via file share in halo 3. you can also make your own movies with the halo 3 theater of which you can also share with the file share.     COD 4 and MW 2 are 10/10 games and some of the best multiplayer games I have played in my entire life. This game is even more special to me, so if I could give it an 11/10, I would.

    The Game is worth it alone for the campaign. The story is just so compelling (obviously play the first two games before this) the gameplay is phenomenal and man its just a blast playing through it sniping down brutes, elites and sticking a plasma to a grunt.     One of the first games I ever played. Halo 3 may be relatively short but it's just brilliant throughout. It really starts getting good around the halfway point and the ending is amazing.
    The level design and environments are the best in the franchise. They feel like a mix between halo CE and halo 2.     When halo 3 came, i had just finished the college so i went out and work for 2 months to buy a 360 and a copy of Halo 3 when it launches, but when halo 3 launched, the game outsold all the previous entries! And after playing it, i had one thing to say :WOW", this game was just perfect, the Gameplay was the best Gameplay in any shooter and the story was epic as hell.

    Halo 3 was the most hyped game for me back then. I remember finishing college and getting a XBOX 360 right after. Well, when i played halo 3 it didn't blew my mind but i had the best time in the world with it, the story felt epic but a little bit cliché but the Gameplay was flawless. The online multiplayer was the finest out of the trilogy, but still halo 3 kicked ass pretty well.

    Well, Halo 3 may not be the best exclusive XBOX 360 gave us but it's such an amazing ending to the first two games... The lack of arbiter was my big problem and some other changes that happened but overall this game STILL Kicks ass.

    I met a guy with a rocket launcher and he was cool and he jumped on the back of a mongoose and we both got on it and we jumped onto a big crab and he shot the rocket launcher at its legs but he feel off and I killed the big crab but then I searched the floor and found the rocket launcher but no body and it was sad rip rocket launcher guy

    There were a lot of controversy surrounding Halo 3 when it launched, Critics loved the campaign but the short length of the campaign compared to Halo CE or Halo 2 was the problem, Halo 3 broke records and rewrote history, it was still the perfect end that everyone wanted for this trilogy but i can understand where some criticisms come from.

Um dos pontos que vale ressaltar é a implementação dos Elites como aliados, nesse jogo além de trazeram aliados com armas novas que não sejam os fuzis de sempre eles também trazem o humor a tona que já estava presente nos halos anteriores mas nesse fui muito aumentado chegando num ponto em que as vezes em que ficamos parados olhando para um Elite apenas esperando ele dizer uma frase engraçada (nenhuma piada é muito fora do normal a não ser que você esteja usando um cranio espescial) também é trazido de volta o nosso elite preferido o arbiter que agora não aparece mais como um personagem jogavel (a não ser no co-op) e sim como um companheiro que está sempre presente nos leveis porem não está o tempo todo neles a gameplay segue a mesma do halo 2 o que destaca esse jogo do antecessor é o design das fase já que diferente do antecessor esse tem fases mais focadas em veículos principalmente o warthdog esse jogo também tem mais fases balanceadas que diferente dos jogos anteriores que tinham fases extremamente difíceis e as vezes quase impossível que lhe obrigavam a reiniciar a fase e poupar balas para prolongar a vida útil do jogo esse não precisa de mais disso já que o online já prolonga bastante. As fases no Halo 3 não são mais impossíveis elas exigem sim um certo nivel habilidades e que você consiga entender o conceito das fases e como derrotar os inimigos um exemplo disso é o The Ark que na primeira vez parece ser muito difícil lidar com os Scarab mas você pega um jeito de uma maneira que você consegue facilmente enfrentar 2 Scarab que seram apresentados em poucas fases depois em ''The Covernant''
    Bom eu poderia ficar horas e horas falando de porque esse jogo é incrível e tão superior aos outros do gênero mas acho que nenhuma palavra descreveria a sensação de jogar esse jogo que mesmo 14 anos depois ainda é um dos melhores jogos do gênero FPS.    … Expand

The characters are good but a downgrade to Halo 2's incredibly written cast and the campaign is not as in depth. Where the campaign really shines is in terms of its sandbox and gameplay. Equipment really makes each encounter more dynamic and fun as it adds another level of thought behind what you do so it feels more rewarding when you utilise equipment well. The guns are the most balanced they have been since CE so each weapon feels viable even on higher difficulties. The first few missions are quite standard and slow but still a good introduction to the game, however the game really begins to pick up after Tsavo Highway with The Storm, Floodgate, The Ark and The Convenant. These 4 missions are 11/10 each being so unique and influencial in terms of story but also fun af. The scale of Halo 3 is portrayed perfectly in these missions ranging from 2 scarabs at once, a flood infestation, and the all out war on the ark. The Ending to the campaign is the best yet with another warthog run but on an astronomical scale compared to CE and much more intense. There is also plenty of Easter eggs and collectibles throughout the campaign like skulls and terminals which add to the lore and also gameplay. The only complaint that i have is that heroic and legendary difficulty is way too unfair while in vehicles and being shot by vehicles.
    In terms of multiplayer this is peak arena shooters, the maps are great, sandbox perfect as well as game modes like griffball on top of the huge amount of custom games.
    Forge is brilliant allowing for you to make your own game modes and mess around with sandbox
    Theatre was a nice addition to the game so you can go back and watch replays    … Expand

    Halo 3 is the best Xbox 360 game to date. The single-player campaign and storyline are both very strong, but it's Forge and the Saved Films features that will likely go down in history as Bungie's crowning achievements. They've basically taken everything great about the series and improved upon it in every way, then added some amazing new features that we'll be using for years to come.
