Nov 21, 2011Same old same old. If you played MW2, you've already played MW3. A new coat of paint, and you have yourself the exact same game. Just like bad music, it sold like crazy. Doesn't mean it's good. Sick of the same product year after year.

-
Nov 9, 2011A MW2 map pack, not worth the price of admission. Don't shell out the money to buy this game, and don't support the company that releases it. If I could rate this a negative score, like a -59.99 I would, because you might as well be throwing your cash down the drain.
-
Nov 9, 2011call of duty 4: modern warfare with new maps.
same engine same weapons same modes with the exception of survival mode that is zombies but with human enemies. -
Nov 9, 2011The proper words to describe this game is half a blank page.

Nov 9, 2011You may be asking why am i giving this game a zero, and the reason is that MW3 is not even a real game. It's still the same game from the continuous reboots of the same old same thing. Call of duty devs if you are reading this get your act together and start innovating, stop milking your fan base.
-
Nov 9, 2011To all the retards that have been giving this game a 10. It is a shooter. No shooters especially a copy and paste one should get higher than an 8. Fallout 3 is what a shooter should be.
MW3 is just mindless shooting and running for people new to games. No innovation. 0/10 for lack of anything good. -
Nov 9, 2011Don't reward lazy development. This is the same game as MW2, which is the same game as MW1. Nothing will change until the lemmings stop buying this every single year.
-
Nov 9, 2011This game is the same thig has COD MW2, if you already have it, there is no need to buy this one.If you played one, you've played them all. Same thing. Its really sad actually. I had no expectations and i was disappointed

Nov 9, 2011Copy and paste development should not be rewarded, no matter the franchise. Madden gets trashed every year for doing it, yet so many of those same critics dont say a word when it's COD doing it.
-
Nov 9, 2011Activision is the worst thing to happen to the planet since Disney Channel. I think I'll stick with Arkham City, Gears of War 3, and Uncharted 3. Thank god I rented this and didn't waste my money on a $60 package of DLC.
-
Nov 9, 2011Game is just MW2 in a different wrapper. There is no innovation in this game, and is completely stale. I must say they really dropped the ball. The fact that people are willing to buy this game just shows that we are all ok with settling for mediocrity in our first person shooters.

Nov 20, 2011Looking at the critics score it is so simply obvious that craptivision bribed almost everyone of them. Don't support a game with ZERO innovation and the most out dated graphics for a modern game. Story is so cliche and predictable and PLEASE we are all sick of the Russians plot. Many glitches and clunky shooting with old maps 'copy and pasted' just destroys this game. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
-
Nov 10, 2011Quality versus Quantity truly will shine...How long did activision think they would get away with making cut and paste games. Activision needs to realize that lining your pockets with money doesnt necessarily equal success. Black Ops had the same problem which should have been called Call of Duty: Classic Warfare 60's.
-
Nov 9, 2011What a letdown. A zero is warranted for this game only because of how similar it is to a game made 2 years ago. The COD series is headed down the same path as sports games who add only a few minor features to their games so that they can keep some ideas for next year. This game should be DLC...not an entirely new piece of software.
-

-
Nov 9, 2011like every COD game, just a reskin of the previous & a complete wase of time. if u want a real multiplayer experience play battlefield 3 instead. i want my 70 bucks back.
-
Nov 9, 2011I made this account in attempt to aware others, this game is seriously not worth $60. Its just a new campaign (which only spans 4 hours) and new maps. I would wait for the price to drop or to just get skyrim or something instead.
-
Nov 10, 2011This game is just more of the same. I couldn't stand the singleplayer. It's like I had already played everything in there before and they ran out of ideas (shocking right?) and they even took the idea of the no gravity section from Killzone 3. Go buy Uncharted 3 instead of this steaming pile of dog dump.
-
Nov 9, 2011I went in expecting very little and was still disappointed. Added nothing to the pre-existing formula so this gets a 0 for being a carbon copy of Modern Warfare 2, yet still asks you for $70.
-
Nov 9, 2011
-
Nov 9, 2011Just going to keep it simple....we as gamers who spend are hard earned money on video games should demand more then just the same recycled game year after year after year.
-
Nov 9, 2011Activision is getting what they deserve, this is what happens when all you care about is money. I've played cod 4 and mw2. They were pretty good but after releasing a game every year they went downhill for me. I haven't payed them a buck since.
-
Nov 25, 2011for those who really thinks its an 8 or above...are pretty much idiotic fools that are paid to give them those good reviews. games worth **** and not worth 60. its literally expansion pack alike.
-
Nov 9, 2011They really need to try and mix it up. This game is just another shooter from infinity ward. They are running the same engine. I look at this game like a map pack for MW2. The only thing is all my stats don't go over. They need to get out of there huge hype and make a REAL game.

Nov 9, 2011This is basically the same game as MW2, it feels the same exact way, nothing new other than a few features that were added, which I don't see how they couldn't have been made into a DLC package. Do not waste your money on this game, it is not worth $60, $30-40 at it's lowest I would say it's worth. This does not feel like blackops though, it just seems that they edited the MW2 engine more.
-
Nov 9, 2011Same game different year, nothing really new on a franchise that Activision is running dry like they did with Guitar Hero. Seriously how can people keep playing something they played last year and the year before that.
-
Nov 9, 2011Yet another Call of Duty that is essentially just another re-skin of the same formula that's kept fanboys coming back time and again. Don't spend your $60 on what could just as easily pass for MW2 DLC with more stats.
-
Nov 9, 2011Why pay $60 for the same thing every year it's just like Madden. People are just like sheep. It's time to move on to something else with more innovation. Call of Duty Elite is a copy of Halo Waypoint and Waypoint is free for all features. CoD is lacking because they know you will buy it just because it's called Modern Warfare.
-
Nov 9, 2011I played it last night, couldn't tell the difference between it and modern warfare 2. Why they don't make a new engine is beyond me. Your money would be better spent on games like Skyrim, uncharted 3, Arkham city or Deus Ex Human revolution.
-
Nov 9, 2011
-
Nov 9, 2011The game is the same exact thing. It hasn't changed at all. It was fun 3 years ago, but its bland and aged now. This cow has been milked as much as it could possibly could.
-
Nov 9, 2011I'm sorry I really wanted to like this game but I just couldn't. I can't just play a game that asks you to pay 60$ for playing a game you already had for the past 6 years. I just can't being honest I am heavily disappointed and that come from a guy that played 47 days and prestiged 10th times in mw2 :,(
-
Nov 9, 2011Dissapointing rehash of MW2. Shame on you Activision. How could you let something like this get out the door? You have like 4 game development studios working on this game, and yet it looks as if someone made the multiplayer in 5 seconds
-
Nov 11, 2011
-
Nov 9, 2011Same old recycled junk. Nothing about this game is innovative or intriguing. If you have another Call of Duty game, save yourself some money and just keep playing that one.
-
Nov 10, 2011If you have played MW, or MW2, then you don't need this game. It is the same game with a few different textures. Picture it as an expansion pack to MW2, at full retail price.
-
Nov 9, 2011Same old game. Should charge $10 as an update, not $60. Kinda crappy that a company would do this and charge you full price for an expansion pack. Where's the new part?
-
Nov 9, 2011Developers are lazy bastards! Same engine for 4 year, even sound without changes! 2011 year on the street, but we offer us to walk on scripts, jumps on scripts, drive on scripts. story is ok, but all other aspects of game are trash.

Nov 9, 2011This is exactly what happens when a game has a 1 year development cycle. This is a 60 dollar map pack nothing more modern warefare 2.5 that activation is charging 60 bucks for. The only way the developers will actually improve the game is if people stop buying it. Luckily i had a feeling this would happen and tried a friends first, very little new innovation few guns thats it. Literally a map pack
-
Nov 9, 2011Too many good games out for you to waste $60 on this repack of MW2. Professional reviews do their best, but I feel they have to score it well. COD:MW and Madden are the same thing.
-
Nov 9, 2011I'm disgusted with myself for buying this game. NO ONE should be rewarded for this kind of crap it's like someone selling you for full price a car you just bought. Would you do that?
-
Nov 9, 2011
-
Nov 9, 2011From someone who use to be a huge COD fan for a long time, I gotta say I'm disappointed. Playing this game nice if you enjoyed the other COD games, but I feel 100% ripped. It is essentially MW 1.3 rather then a trilogy . Sure it's new maps, new perks and what not. But it literally feels like a copy and paste experience.
I'll probably end up trading this in for something else, maybe BF3 or Skyrim. -
Nov 9, 2011Wow!!!! Can you say " watered down " ??? When does modern warfare 3 come out? Because this is modern warfare 2.5 with worse maps... Nice copy and Paste job!! Less is more sometimes!!!
-
Nov 9, 2011Should've been MW2 DLC...graphics are mediocre...character models and animations are recycled...controls feel dated...producing these game far too fast...story is a michael bay cliche...I suggest giving BF3 a try
-
Nov 9, 2011You can't get away with forcing people to pay 60 bucks for a five hour campaign, and the same multiplayer experience that has been shipped out with this series for the last four years. Just play BLOPS or MW2, they are the exact same game as MW3 just with a different coat of paint.
-
Nov 9, 2011This is basically the same as MW2! I wasted my money. I basically bought this game 2 years ago!
They didn't add much, it's basically the same thing. They should have created a new engine. -
Nov 9, 2011Single player is decent. Multiplayer is a wreck. Small environments, old graphics engine, this game could have been an xbox live arcade download. The weapons have no individual characteristics, no realism at all if they were trying, just a cheap game with no soul.
-
Nov 9, 2011Nothing new in MW3 its recycled. Did not enjoy this one at all. If you have played this one you have played them all. New weapons and a few others changes that were implemented in the game do not equal a new game. What is going on here? How can you give this anything higher than a 5? Its a fail for me. Single player is ok but multiplayer is silly!
-
Nov 9, 2011I have never felt so ripped off in my life, this game feels and looks old. If you already own Mordern warfare 2 then dont buy this which is basically modern warfare 2.01. Copy and paste story dated engine. This game is out selling everything in a year which is filled with so many good games, honestly even if your a Call Of Duty fan dont buy this its nothing new.
-
Nov 12, 2011Seriously, the best map pack I have ever bought, and it comes with new gun skins, totally worth selling my other kidney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Innovation and risk taking thrown out the window and in its place, a quick production o a simple money grab people fall for every year due to hype and social needs, seriously screw capitalism.
-
Nov 9, 2011
-
Nov 9, 2011These game is one of the worst games of 2011. There are better games these year that are worth your money like skyrim or batman arkham city. mw3 is like all the other cods if you want to play mw3 for a lower price play mw2 its the same thing.
-
Nov 9, 2011A glorified map-pack. There hasn't been any significant improvements made since MW2. This game is the product of Activision's greed not an attempt to improve the series as a whole. Sure, it raps up the story but that's about its only redeeming quality.

Nov 9, 2011Rediculous scumbags resold same game over again. This is a perfect example on how greed is ruining this country. Rip off every person by reselling the same product secretly and charging 50 bucks for the add on crap? 15 for a map pack that's reskinned old maps? Seriously?

Nov 9, 2011this game is terrible thank god we have a developer like Dice who will continue to push the envelope and bring something new to the table. we all have played this game 2yrs.ago this is mw2 dlc edition do yourself a favor get battlefield 3

Nov 9, 2011Exact same **** as last year. Should have been released as DLC not another game.
Activision are driving this franchise into the ground the same way they did with guitar hero.
You can't just keep repackaging the same game and expect gamers to be non-the-wiser.
Your days of fooling people are up Activision, even hardcore fans are beginning to see through you. -
Nov 10, 2011Selling this game for anything more than $20 should be a federal crime. The people in charge at Sledgehammer, IW, and Activision should all be placed under citizens arrest for releasing this recycled piece of garbage and labeling it as a new title.
-
Nov 9, 2011Sorry i rsted this pile of crap earlier and gave it a ten when it should have been zero. This game isnt even worth a rent. This was just a quick ploy to make a few hundred million dollars and call it a day. There dosent need to be a call of duty for a really long time. People are running out of stuff to come up with. Dont buy it seriously its a total waste of money.
-
Nov 9, 2011THe guys who made call of duty 4 and modern warfare 2 were fired! The infinty ward you speak of is a new team of devs under the same name all they did was take The orginal infinty ward formula and cashed in on it thats why I dont like them, Treyarch also cashed in on their formula too. So BF3 is winning cuz they are more innovative......Winning go copy your homework Bam!
-
Nov 9, 2011Gotta love a rehash of game that only declined after the first modern warfare. CoD 4 is my favourite all-time multiplayer fps, but this franchise as turned into a joke.
-
Nov 9, 2011This gets 0 because it's not a new game, it's an expansion pack for MW2. Same engine, same graphics, same guns, same boring multiplayer. Avoid avoid avoid.

Nov 9, 2011I hate it just because there are so many great games out this year and people throw there money awy for an expansion pack. Yes I have played it and yes it feels like a new mappack

-
Nov 9, 2011It's the same game everyone already bought with a new number in the title. You're paying the price for a full game when all you are really getting is an overpriced expansion pack.
-
Nov 9, 2011same game ive been playing since mw2. controls feel clunky and slow. gameplay is the same and for me the games been lagging alot since release. cant even see the leaderboards...
-
Nov 10, 2011Have been playing MW3 online for a few hours now and it surprised me that a game I wasn't looking forward to, at all, still was able to... disappoint me.
-
Nov 10, 2011game is a cut and paste of MW2... there are even videos showing an exact building from cod 4 in MW3... Activision if you want a good score then make a good game don't beg your fans for the scores... it is obvious little effort was put into this game and the score of the community shows it.
-
Nov 10, 2011I enjoyed MW1, I enjoyed MW2, I did not enjoy Black Ops and now I really don't enjoy MW3. Not because of the graphics or the game play but because of the lack of innovation and moving forward. Come on COD! We aren't all idiots, stop selling us the same exact product every year. Step it up next time and I will reconsider.
-
Nov 10, 2011This game is not very good at all. I played Call of Duty: World at War, and it is basically the exact same gameplay as that with little to no innovation...why does Activision have to keep publishing these terrible games, take A FEW YEARS to develop something good? What I say here won't matter though, activision knows people will buy bad games if they release them
-
Nov 10, 2011Same game. Each game has gotten progressively worse since Call of Duty 4. This game is exactly identical to Modern Warfare 2, and I wasn't a fan of that one either.
-
Nov 10, 2011If you want to save 60 dollars I'm selling stickers with the number "3" written on them. Simply remove the adhesive cover and place it on a previous Modern Warfare game.

-
Jan 11, 2012Ultimately, Modern Warfare 3 feels similar to it's brethren, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great game. The single player element is still exciting, and multiplayer has more options than ever – if you're a fan of Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3 is a no brainer.
-
Dec 28, 2011Modern Warfare 3, while still an excellent thrill ride in its own right, feels far too similar to MW2 or even Black Ops for my taste.
-
Dec 12, 2011I never expected Modern Warfare 3 to go toe-to-toe with EA's juggernaut this year, but it came out of the gates with a tour de force campaign and co-op mode. It loses points with a perhaps too-familiar multiplayer that caters to the juvenile on Xbox Live; though don't be mistaken, Modern Warfare 3 is one hell of a shooter and a highlight for a series that just won't die – no matter how much we wish it bloody would, at times.
