    I loved BOTW and really did not think they could top that game. Well I was wrong so so wrong. Tears of the Kingdom is hands down one of the best video games ever made. The sheer amount of things you can do is astonishing. None of the things you will be doing are unrewarding. It is all so fun. I have gotten lost delving into the crafting system so many times. Creating your own ANYTHING isI loved BOTW and really did not think they could top that game. Well I was wrong so so wrong. Tears of the Kingdom is hands down one of the best video games ever made. The sheer amount of things you can do is astonishing. None of the things you will be doing are unrewarding. It is all so fun. I have gotten lost delving into the crafting system so many times. Creating your own ANYTHING is like a gamers dream. Like come on have you seen the videos of other people's creation!? So cool. This game needs to be experienced by any gamer. It seriously reinvigorated my love of gaming after so many awful releases. This game runs on the Switch mind you. Like how did they do that!? Serious props to the dev team.     I mean, BOTW was perfect... and this game is beyond. So, I don't really know what to say... Just play the game I guess. I don't agree with new game price for AAA, but for this game, it's worth it.

    El estudio encargado de desarrollar esta obra ha hecho notar el presupuesto con el que se contaba además de pulir tanto como fue posible cada detalle del mundo, podría llamarles "magos".

    Amazing. The new abilities are fun and creative and the sky level tutorial alone is huge. Of course the low IQ chuds are here to review bomb a good game because it's not a linear hallway fest that holds your hand every step of the way. I ask this question to the morons giving this masterpiece a low score, can you name ONE game that even comes close? I doubt it.

    It's everything a sequel should be.
    Breath of the was 2017's game of the year and I'm sure Tears of the kingdom will be 2023's. It feels incredible complex, fun and full of amazing details, the freedom and flexibility the player has is just one of a kind.
    This is the game of the generation and an evolution to the open world games.

    Endless possibilities, endless skies, the only limit is your own creativity. Fantastic exploration in the best Open World to date. The best physics system in the industry. TotKs gameplay makes other games look like a tech demo.

    Best looking Switch game. What they achieved on this small machine is mind blowing. Great image quality, great attention to detail, and probably the best use of LOD in a video game ever so you can look across the whole gigantic map all the time at a stable performance and without any noticeable pop-ins. TotK is a technical masterpiece.

    Nintendo has done it again. They made the best Open World game with BotW and now with TotK. 10/10 and it raises the bar even higher.    … Expand

    Overall it is a solid game a lot of new mechanics which i don’t wanna spoil but this Zelda game is something to behold . It will be considered an all time classic in the distant future .

    That's not to say that I don't see flaws. I do. Once again, enemy variety could be better, though it is notably improved from BotW. Dungeons are also better than BotW, but not as good as I could imagine them being. I can go on.

    However, I can do this with any of its competitors very easily. It's at or above games of its vintage and that's why it earns a 10/10.    … Expand

I would give this game 30/10 but I can't so I have to settle with 10/10 instead. ToTK is not a video game, it's THE video game.     If you liked Breath of the Wild, you'll love Tears of the Kingdom. It takes the same world and engine and adds new places to explore and new ways to interact with the environment. On top of this the dungeon experience is improved as rather than divine beasts you explore temples that take inspiration from older games while still allowing you the freedom to tackle them as you see fit.

    It's simply perfect. This Zelda features by far the most advanced mechanics in the gaming industry, and by a long shot. Graphically, it's beautiful, and the story is one of the best in the franchise. A resounding 10/10, already becoming one of the greatest video games of all time. A GOTY that will be talked about for decades to come.

    I'll never forget how amazing it was to play Breath of The Wild for the first few times and explore that vast world. It's great to be able to feel that feeling again in a world so rich in life and detail. I loved that sequence.

    I enjoyed the every aspect of this game. The only observation that I would like to mention and it is not a bad thing, is that the game has so many things to do and explore that overachievers might feel overwhelmed with so much content.
    However if you relax and take it slow, the game becomes extremely pleasant and ejoyable.

    O jogo é otimo, os graficos estão bonitos em sua maior parte do tempo. Vale lembrar que é um switch e não um ps5, tem sim momentos com serrilhados horroros, mas isso é mais nas sky islands. A perfomance em si eu tive poucos problemas quando utilizei a ultrahand ou quando tinha tipo 20 inimigos na tela. Agora os puzzles estão divertidos, explorar Hyrule enquanto é tudo igual e diferente aoO jogo é otimo, os graficos estão bonitos em sua maior parte do tempo. Vale lembrar que é um switch e não um ps5, tem sim momentos com serrilhados horroros, mas isso é mais nas sky islands.     At first glance it seems like BOTW dlc, but the longer you play the more you how wrong this statement is. TOTK is the best gaming experience I got. Exploring amazes me even after 50+ hours. I think is great that they build on the top of previous game in order to refine this masterpiece

    Spectacular game. The open world is dense and full of stuff to do, great dungeons and bosses. Combat is fun as hell and the story made me tear up multiple times. Truly a worthy sequel to BOTW

    They somehow managed to recreate the same feeling of exploration and discovery as in Breath of the Wild. It really is a perfect sequel to one of the best games of all time. It’s best to dive in without checking gameplays, reviews, guides, etc. I can’t recommend this game enough, especially now when most AAA games are either unfinished at launch or are unoriginal and repetitive.

    Phenomenal game. The breaking weapons can be annoying but you come across new ones so fast it begins to not matter.

    The building is fun although becomes a little necessary.

    The sky mechanics are incredible. It really does feel like an expansive open world and to me, does feel a lot like Zelda still too

    If BotW wasn't your style, I can't say for certain that this game will change that for you. What I can say is that it takes everything that made BotW special and turns it up to 11. It also throws in some more special moments, crafted experiences that will probably make more old school Zelda fans like myself very happy.     I really like this game, the world is beautiful and the mechanics are incredibly dynamic, sometimes surprisingly so. The story is interesting enough to keep playing through rather than just messing around with the mechanics in the huge open world. The side quests are interesting and a large step up from Breath of the Wild. Overall a very fun game.

    TOTK builds upon that foundation and makes it even better. The story is a lot better and I was amazed at how good the game starts. Amazing themed dungeons have returned with varied enemies and imaginative riddles, few big surprises that I will not spoil here and    This game is the definitve Zelda to date. It is very surprising that it surpasses Breath of The Wild.
    The gameplay, interactions and physicis are just otherworldly. It has to be said that the narrative and story has fixed many issues from the previous game. Amazing themed dungeons have returned with varied enemies and imaginative riddles, few big surprises that I will not spoil here and are best discovered by yourself. Please consider the huge improvement with the multiple maps: sky map, hyrule map and the dark mysterious underground map dat gives chills and goosebumps every time you enter it.
    I must emphasize, the mechanics are a work of incredible technical creativity and effort. Tears of the kingdom is levels beyond any game I have played to this day. This is the Epic adventure of a hero we have been waiting for, the definitive game.    … Expand

    I have not played an open world game packed with so many things to in a very, very long time. Every single time I want to go somewhere I come across 2 or 3 random other things that catch my attention and want to go check out first, and just like the, before I know it, my initially small detour turned into me exploring a big chunk of the map for 2+ hours without ever getting to what II have not played an open world game packed with so many things to in a very, very long time.     I think a lot of people review bombing this are Final Fantasy fanboys who are desperate for their soon to be released FF16 to be GOTY. What a whack crowd.

    They underestimate the credibility of this site, how can metacritic allow critics like them to do such things with something so idealistic?

    Tears of the Kingdom is a triumph in game design. The sheer amount of freedom given to the player to do whatever they want is absolutely staggering. The world is dense and there are secrets to find around every corner, the story is surprisingly fantastic for a Zelda game so far, and the soundtrack is beautiful. One of the best games ever made.

    Tears of the Kingdom sets a new benchmark in open world games, even more so than its predecessor. Tears also improves upon its story telling in which it tells one of the best Zelda stories to date, and may even rival Ocarina of Time’s wonderful storyline. While the game does look a bit dated, the gameplay and exploration potential more than makes up for it. Giving you verticality in sky or underground, all the adding new abilities like Fuse (which never gets old) and ascend to transverse in all new ways.

    This entry breaks new ground into the Zelda series and into gaming as a whole. It’s the new standard for open world games and any game I play in the future with this concept will be scrutinized with Tears of the Kingdom in mind. It’s a masterpiece through and through.     TOTK improves on its predecessor in almost every single way, it's brimming with creativity and innovation and it excels in both atmosphere and its quality as an open world game. It's impressive how a game that literally shares half its map with BOTW manages to be so different. Hell, even the performance is very close to its predecessor. Around the same resolution quality and fluctuations, and you can expect smooth 30FPS gameplay except in a few situations, even when a lot of stuff is happening on screen.

    Thoughts-
    Breath of the Wild hit the gaming industry with the force of a supernova, instantly celebrated as arguably the greatest game ever made, and remaking a lot of the industry in its image. It should not have been possible for its follow up to hit as hard as it – and to be fair, Tears of the Kingdom will never have the same influence and impact Breath of the Wild did (how can it? It itself is following in its footsteps after all).

    But it manages to hit almost that hard anyway, and it achieves that with a staggeringly high level of quality – a level so high that it makes you wonder at the chasm separating the quality of this game, and most other games on the market – all delivered across an almost unacceptably large volume of content to boot. Breath of the Wild may have been the more influential game (and for many that preferred its simplicity and elegance of design, it will probably remain their preferred one of the pair), but in almost every way, by almost every conceivable metric, Tears of the Kingdom is the better game. And delivering a follow up to one of the best games ever made that is, somehow, even better? No words are necessary at this point. This game is a masterpiece, and any fan of the medium will do themselves a disservice if they don’t check it out.    … Expand

Solo puedo decir: "WOW" Realmente no soy fan de Zelda, en realidad este vendría a ser el segundo que juego y el primero que termino y puedo decir que Tears Of The Kingdom es brutal es casi todo aspecto, el mundo es super gigante y lleno de cosas por hacer si tienes el suficiente tiempo e imaginación, me encantó la historia aun que no es super profunda y sus gráficos a pesar de no ser realistas cumplen con su función de transmitir sensaciones al momento de escenas clave.
    En realidad mi calificación para el juego seria de 9.5 (pero solo me deja escojer entre 9 y 10), ya que si hay cositas que no me terminaron de convencer y que siento que pudieron pulirlas un poco más refiriéndome al combate, no es malo, pero en muchisimas ocasiones juraría haber esquivado ciertos ataques que me terminaron dando, diria que es eso y que los santuarios de los sabios son básicamente lo mismo, me habria encantado que cada santuario tuviera cosas diferentes y no solo buscar 5 interruptores
    Esa es mi opinión del juego, en lo personal una experiencia muy muy recomendable.    … Expand

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
