    People will use the excuse that this is the same game as BOTW but its not that at all. The brand new features and the addition of the depths and sky makes this one of nintendos best games ever released.

    This is the biggest game I’ve ever played. (With the possible exception of Minecraft)
    If you like open world games then this will be awesome. Goty, definitely. The abilities in tears are a lot better than Breath, and the story is better to. This is awesome.

    this game is the closest game to perfect. there are some flaws but still deserves a 10. if the flaws were gone this game might be a 11.
    my only flaw with totk,is the sages ai is kinda annoying and you will always use one of the sage's ability when you try to pick up or interact with something.

    Easy the best game of the year, is the legend of zelda breath of the wild but renovated, a most interesant history and in my opinin explore the map is more interesant for breath of the wild (in breath of the wild is really interesintg) is a very good game and is the best game of the year veri easy :D.

    I'm here after reading most of the bad review, been playing the game over 200hrs still very interested in the game.

    Reused material and BOTW DLC
    I don't think those people actually explore the map much, every side village have changed some finished building some need to rebuild. not to mention that BOTW doesn't even have caves its all empty mountain, IMO BOTW feels more empty after I play TOTK. and the depth and the sky Island its just fun.
    The Price
    nothing much to say around here, I think the game is worth the price.
    Graphics
    I only have fps drop when I use ultra hand to move around but tbh I rarely need to walk around with a ultra hand active.
    weapons
    You can fix weapons and have New weapon gain from the depth So I think people just doesn't discover that they can do things like this, which is part of the gameplay to discover.
    personal tips
    If you are a sheep who can't do anything without a guide yes this game will get bored to you.
    We all knows that there is no game that can suite for everyone so suck it this is the GOTY.    … Expand

    Everything Breath of the Wild should have been. Easily my top 2 Zelda games ever. Tears of the Kingdom is right up there with Ocarina of Time.

    After playing Breath of the Wild, I thought there won't be a game that could be better than it. But, Tears of Kingdom did it!
    It gives players more exploration, more creativity and more imaginations. Everyone could find their own ways to play this game. Both the main plot and side-quests are lovely and remarkable.

    One of, if not my favourite game of all time. This game improves upon Breath of the Wild in every way. I only really have two gripes with the game. I dislike the fact that there is a ton of Rauru's blessing shrines, and lack of interesting sky islands to explore, and a low amount of them overall. Overall, this game is phenomenal

    The game is just amazing. It fixes pretty much all the bad points from botw and also improves on all the points that were previously good.
    After 130 hours of pure joy I finished the story today and my god was the ending good! In general, the story was actually much better.
    All in all just pure gold.

    One of the best games I have ever played. The world is full of content, and exploration feels rewarding. The game also has many puzzles, and the combat is also amazing. The only downside that I can think of is the story. It's good, but it's not great. It's the usual good vs evil, and I hoped they would try something different with Ganondorf.

The main story is fun, but just exploring the new sky island and depths maps and building things along the way is endlessly entertaining. There's so much to do but you have the freedom to do as much or as little as you like. I haven't felt as entertained by any game in years. Not even Breath of the Wild wasI wasn't sure how it could top Breath of the Wild, but Nintendo managed to do it! The main story is fun, but just exploring the new sky island and depths maps and building things along the way is endlessly entertaining. There's so much to do but you have the freedom to do as much or as little as you like. I haven't felt as entertained by any game in years.     Pros: Amazing new mechanic, that need to have in every game from now on. The replay value is so great that I have replayed this game twice since launched, and it took me nearly 250 hours of playtime.
    Cons: Visually the same as BOTW. The limited hardware is because of the old Switch system.

    Simple review: The best game in the series by far.

    Es increíble lo que el team Zelda ha logrado con este juego y sobre todo en esta plataforma que es Nintendo Switc y todo lo que eso conlleva, incluyendo obviamente todas las limitaciones técnicas con las que cuenta la consola y su hardware que salió estando desfasadísimo en 2017. El juego es simplemente impresionante y digno del GOTY.

    Dieses Spiel ist sehr besonders. Es verwendet die gleiche Welt aber in vielen Änderungen und es hat den Untergrund und die Himmelsinseln. Es fühlt sich wie ein komplett neues Spiel an. Die Story ist sehr gut.
    Die Zwischensequenzen sind ein Meisterwerk.
    Ein Muss für jeden Switch Besitzer!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a long time Zelda Fan, when I thought Breath of the Wild Impressed me, Tears of the Kingdom takes the cake with its immersion and gameplay. With the new gaming mechanics, the possibilities are endless. The world is beautiful, huge and packed with lots of content to explore. The map feels like 3 maps in one. I wasn't expecting the Depths under Hyrule! Loved the way the game started and how story driven it is compared to BOTW. Many of the side quests are long and fun to do as they have story to tell. I'm also happy that they added temples again. I am 100 hours in the game and still have lots to do. I've been enjoying the game and can't put it down.… Expand

    Absolute best Korok torture device on the market I could find. I tried many before this one but those nasty little buggers kept escaping. One day however, my friend showed me this product and my life has changed forever. I especially recommend using rockets, bombs, and stabilizers.

There is so much to do other than normal bread-n-butter side quests like Addison, Boss monsters, and well-delving. There are some familiar puzzles (Koroks!) but with completely new abilities. The temples do bring part of the old Zelda back but you have multiple ways of getting throughThis game was the perfect sequel to BOTW. I have 210 hours on BOTW and already have 110 hours on TOTK. There is so much to do other than normal bread-n-butter side quests like Addison, Boss monsters, and well-delving. There are some familiar puzzles (Koroks!) but with completely new abilities. Ou pode deixar mas que adicionasse novas armas além de master sword e galhos de Árvores...magine armas lendárias como sla uma luva q desse força, uma espada dourada, uma masamune uma excalibur olha q top são armas legais e baús pequenos,médios, grandes, hyper grandes etc.. One small example is the Monsters Items. In Botw most of it where. pretty useless. But in Totk you can now glue your own weapons together. And the Monsters drop often pretty strong Items which are useful to create very strong weapons. I can at least say this gives you way much more motivation to kill the bosses. And dont be scared if the first hours of the games dont really appeal to you. When I started the Game I wasnt rly sure if it will even be honorable next to Botw. But no Bote is the small thing here. Totk gives you just way more. And very important: Please go blind into the game without spoilers. This will enhance your play-through because you'll get to see much much more surprises, because you dont expect it.    … Expand

    Listen I’m not a big Zelda guy but yea it may be a similar map or similar graphics. It is completely a different Zelda game and who ever gives a bad review ether is a Zelda hater or just hasn’t played the game long enough

    Tears of the Kingdom (2023 GOTY) is an absolute masterpiece; A must-play for every Nintendo Switch owner. With how amazing Breath of the Wild was, I didn't think that TOTK would be better. After completing TOTK, I was completely wrong. Tears of the Kingdom is better than Breath of the Wild in every single way possible. I've heard people say that TOTK is "just BOTW dlc" and they areTears of the Kingdom (2023 GOTY) is an absolute masterpiece; A must-play for every Nintendo Switch owner.     Simplesmente uma ótima continuação. Pegaram um jogo incrível que é Breath of the Wild e conseguiram melhorar. É um milagre esse jogo rodar em um switch que tem muitas limitações.

    One of the best videogames I've played in my life, it's amazing that this is running on a switch, I love the new mechanics, but still miss the infinite sheikah bombs, the freedom this game gives you is another awesome thing, you can do what you want the way you want and the order you want

    De los mejores juegos que he probado. Es imposible aburrirme jugándolo, la historia es genial y me encanta lo mucho que se expandió la exploración a comparación de su predecesor.

    I have lost my passion for gaming. TOTK brought it back. This game is not perfect and still I can call it masterpiece. The amount of heart that the devs put in to this game is commendable. Looking forward for another excellent Legend of zelda in the future.

    I have also played the previous botw. I honestly thought that this totk would not surpass the previous one, but that expectation was wrong. It has been more than a month since its release and I am still discovering new things. It really is a great game.

    I thought Nintendo can't beat BOTW forever since it was just crazy. I was just wrong when I get into TOTK. Have you looked into various shorts for crazily creative mechanics?

The entire world is absolutely packed with things to do, and I never felt restricted by the game mechanics. if I wanted to build a mech, I just got the materials and built. I would rate this game a 11 but it gets taken down to a 10.5 by the fact that sometimes its hard to know where to go. I usually aren't interested in most single player gamesThis game is one of my favorite games ever. The entire world is absolutely packed with things to do, and I never felt restricted by the game mechanics. if I wanted to build a mech, I just got the materials and built. I would rate this game a 11 but it gets taken down to a 10.5 by the fact that sometimes its hard to know where to go. I usually aren't interested in most single player games but I dumped 60 hours in the game just playing handheld and I only stop when my battery runs out.     TOTK is BOTW version 100.0. Game is far beyond my own lofty expectations! Metacritic rating is currently at 96 and I dnt think that's high enough.

    Breath of the Wild but even better. The abilities were better and so were the puzzles. Would be a 10 but sky islands felt a little bland and depths weren't very enjoyable. Fire Temple sucked ass.

Due to the open-ended nature of the game, some puzzles and    The game is amazing in almost every regard, as someone who has played almost every game in this legendary series. The world has a greater amount of depth than any previous Zelda game, it's almost impossible to do everything and the story is delightfully engaging. So yeah buy it.

    I'll list my gripes with the game before continuing. Due to the open-ended nature of the game, some puzzles and aspects such as combat can feel almost challengless because any wacky or stupid solution you come up with will generally work; of course, this is also one of, if not the best aspect of the game but sometimes you might wish the puzzles were a bit "tighter". Also, and if you've played the game you know what I mean, they did NOT change the four main quests to account for how many of them the player has done (you can do them in any order) which leads to the cool yet almost identical cutscenes that play in every region's quest to become comically repetitive. Lastly there's too many blessing shrines that require no effort to get.

    Okay now for good stuff :) 1. Ultrahand literally let's you do anything, in a game that would be perfectly fine without it
    2. The temples are... Well half of them are excellent, 1 is awful and another is obviously the tutorial one so it gets a pass for its theming alone.
    3. Sky islands are a joy to explore for the first time, some of my best memories in games were in them!
    4. While it's frankly not too different to Breath of the Wild's, the world is such a joy to take in.
    5. The largest new area I won't say much about is super fun to explore for me
    6. And ultimately, it's a fantastic game that has minor flaws in certain segments yet nevertheless is an absolute must play best played at a slow and patient pace. PS: I haven't beaten the game yet I'm on the last of the temples    … Expand

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
