    An iconic franchise that never ceases to evolve in the most inspirational ways possible. Zelda: ToTK is just another example of that aspect. This game takes exploration to absolute new levels and injects creative freedom in its design, allowing for so many possibilities and choices in how to play through its adventure. While the game does feel a bit similar to BoTW, the new additions, theAn iconic franchise that never ceases to evolve in the most inspirational ways possible.     Sinceramente Nintendo no decepciona con este gran juego,la verdad hay pocas cosas por la cuales quitarle ese 10 ,pero es que su gameplay,su mundo abierto,su historia y todo ,es digno de un GOTY, además siendo la Swicht una consola portátil el juego tiene buenas gráficas y corre exelente

    No hay palabras para describir dicha obra de arte porque es lo que es, sin duda quedará marcado en la historia y lo considero incluso mejor que Ocarina of Time. Cualquier cosa que pueda imaginar es un aspecto a destacar. No te sientes jugando Breath of the Wild y sí se siente como otro juego pero también se siente la nostalgia de Breath of the Wild en algunas cosas, sin duda Nintendo supoNo hay palabras para describir dicha obra de arte porque es lo que es, sin duda quedará marcado en la historia y lo considero incluso mejor que Ocarina of Time. Las nuevas habilidades de Link y el uso de la tecnología Zonnan hace que se sienta una finalidad en el juego totalmente distinta a su precuela y que explotes tu creatividad. La exploración es inmensa y el mapa no se siente repetitivo, la implementación del cielo y del subsuelo es perfecta. El subsuelo le da el toque tétrico que representa a Ganondorf y su historia es espectacularmente hermosa. La historia es tan hermosa que te puedes adentrar en su papel y al cabo de cierto punto puede hacer llorar a cualquiera. Ganondorf representa lo que ha sido en todos los juegos y se siente verdaderamente como un villano perfecto, representa al 100% el odio y la maldad encarnada en un ser pero a su vez es un verdadero genio, él logra un aspecto tétrico lo cual lo complementa con el subsuelo. Su maldad te puede hacer llegar a la pelea final con el odio hacia él sin dar tantos detalles. Las misiones secundarias se sienten más desarrolladas y ya no es como si fuera una simple recolección de materiales como en su precuela. El doblaje al español latino es simplemente una carta de amor al doblaje; la voz de Ganondorf genera un sentimiento de lo temible que es un verdadero villano. El fan service es bien usado y no se abusa de él, Nintendo escuchó muchos dolores de cabeza de Breath of the Wild y simplemente lo perfeccionó. Es simplemente el juego perfecto que no se ve cada que transcurra un largo tiempo.

    If you liked and enjoyed BoTW, you'll love this game. It improves on almost every aspect and feels way more complete. Don't expect a whole new and different game from BoTW. It builds upon the existing foundation.

    Yes, it is still the Hyrule from BoTW (with minor changes) but you have 2 new "areas" with the sky islands and the huge underground to explore.     Traversing the map is way more fun now with the building aspect. You can build Hoverboards, cars, boats etc. The new abilities are also more fun than the ones in BoTW. They add new ways to play the game. This affects weapons, fights and traversing in the game.

    There is also more depth in the story this time, and its more interesting in my opinion. Nintendo went for the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality. Instead they improved on what they built.
    Overall, its a great and fun game. The most important thing, it is a complete game not like the AAA games we get nowadays sadly.    … Expand

    Está claro que el juego no va a 60fps, pero es sin lugar a duda la secuela perfecta del juego perfecto, con un estilo de arte maravilloso, mundo abierto muy completo y encima tiene una historia lo bastante buena como para ser de las mejores(sencilla pero divertida). Además de su motor de físicas que literalmente es la vida 2.0.
    Maravilloso juego, perfecto para cualquier momento.

    Breath of the wild was a good game, but it didn't quite surpass Ocarina of Time.

    TOTK is a MASTERPIECE. It fully surpasses every Zelda game ever made. It's one of the only games I've played in my 30s that I can say is not only game of the year, but one is the greatest ever made.

    This is one of the few open world games that justifies its immense size. Totk improves on botw in every possible way. Traversal is immensely fun and rewarding with the new ultra hand abilities and the added verticality with sky islands. Combat is more challenging than before, but most enemies drop materials that can be used to enhance equipment, making it always worth your time to bringThis is one of the few open world games that justifies its immense size. Side quests are absolutely everywhere, and all are interesting and unique. The story is much more compelling than before. Even the soundtrack is better and more varied than botw. Overall, there’s vastly more content and more to do in this sequel. It makes botw look like a tech demo.

    While this is the most fun I’ve had with a game in years, it’s not without its flaws. The UI is a bit clunky, especially when cycling through weapons mid-combat. Many of the shrines feel too short, too obvious, are empty “Raru’s Blessing” rewards, or are tutorials for mechanics that I learned 30 hours ago. I do miss the traditional Zelda dungeons of TP, WW, and SS, but I somewhat understand the need for more open dungeons in this game given the wealth of freedom granted by its mechanics. They could have taken away all of Link’s runes for a dungeon, but what fun is that? My last, and most forgivable, complaint is the game’s performance. The Switch is an outdated piece of hardware, and the way it struggles to run totk shows. But personally, the hiccups in fps didn’t bother me all that much. For others it certainly will: I’d recommend emulating the game at 60 fps.

    Tears of The Kingdom is not a perfect game, but it reaches closer to perfection than any other game that I’ve played to date. I’m currently 90 hours into the game, but I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of what this game has to offer.    … Expand

    after years of waiting, this game does not disappoint one bit. the same world we saw in the previous entry is fresh with new stuff to do, and honestly feels completely different. the story is ramped up and is honestly the best Zelda story in my opinion. the art-style is fantastic, the sound design is excellent, the combat is amazing as ever, this game is the best game of all time!

    Just the fact that you get put into gameplay at the start of the game so you can adapt to the controls is Awsome, and the discovery of the dried up Ganondorf (I’ll say Ganon for short but I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE) which then wakes up and somehow knows the name of Zelda and Link is so cryptic the first time you get to it, but becomes clear when the game ends. Also Zelda becoming a Dragon and staying one for 1000+ years just to heal up the Master Sword for Link to defeat the Demon King is totally unexpected. The 4 new powers are all useful and almost never situational (I like Recall and Ascend the most) and they let you do all sorts of stuff like having infinite battery on cars [I won’t say how >:)], or visit places you never even dreamed of in BOTW. The sky islands are great to explore, and the depths, while being really dark and scary when you first enter them are somewhat easy to explore since the lightroots are very visible so you have an objective every time you visit it.
    10/10 game, would never say anything bad about it.    … Expand

Although I’ve poured 90+ hours into this game, I am joyous and amazed to say that I keep finding newer things every day and it is such a relieving experience! This game is definitely a masterpiece of the masterpieces, a game that would never be topped. This game, although it costs $60 on Amazon, is totally worth every cent. When I first started the game, I was amazed by the complexity and beauty of everything. The new Constructs were beautifully designed, the new horns of the enemies fit them so well! (My personal favorites are the silver Lizalfos and silver Lynel horns.) The new abilities are, what me and my friends call ‘Runes on Steroids’ because of their usages and similarities. Then there are the Depths. Whoo! How did Nintendo hide this much of a secret without it getting leaked? All in all, I could rant about this game for hours on end, but I’m much too tired right now, but this game, of course is a 10/10 must-play for me and you should buy it!… Expand

    An absolute essential. This game, for lack of a better term, is a game changer. I have already doubled the amount of hours played compared to BotW. I was concerned about how well it would run on a basically 10 year old system, but Holy cow, this blew my expectations out of the water.
    $70 is more than fair. 10/10 masterpiece, essential.

The Legend of zelda: Tears of the kingdom, sin duda alguna es una gran secuela, respeta y guarda mecánicas del botw y hasta las mejora, además su mundo, ahora mas extenso te incita a perderte y explorar las bastas tierras de hyrule. También mejora otros aspectos como los jefes que sin duda alguna se nota que la gran N puso empeño y creatividad al diseñarlos, los nuevos monstruos también son algo digno de admirar pues también regresan algunas criaturas de juegos anteriores. Las nuevas habilidades de Link hace que puedas abrirte camino de infinitas maneras. Y la historia perfectamente es lo que mas destaca (desde mi punto de vista) pues tiene trama tan seria como la de Majora's mask y el desarrollo de personaje como Rauru, Sonnia, Ganondorf etc. Sin duda alguna dan a entender que este juego tiene muchas pero que muchísimas posibilidades de ganar el GOTY.… Expand

    I've almost completed the main quest line and I really can't get enough of playing this game. You walk to somewhere you see something else you go to there and before your halfway your sidetracked again. It's just amazing how they improved an already amazing game so much. Better story, better enemies, better mechanics, better world and so much more.

    As soon as you start the game, you are placed into an extremely well designed tutorial section. In my opinion it tops the tutorial from breath of the wild (which is quite the challenge). As you progress through the game you are constantly shown things to do, whether it’s finding a new chasm, or a fallen boulder to recall and many more.     EASILY my new favorite game of all time. That does say a lot, because I play strategy games. I loved Breath of the Wild, and this game improves so much i fear if I go back to that game I won't love it nearly as much. Get this if you are curious, or loved Breath of the Wild, you will not be disappointed. The story is also great.

The open world is simply teeming with life and endless rich droves of content! LOZOOT had one fatal weakness, constant walking without anything to do. Sure the content when you reached your destination per half hour walk is brilliant, but the filler sucked much joy out of the experience. Tears of The Kingdom is Zelda without the excess fat , trimmed and buffed to a mirror shine, housed in the finest of gold. The art style is impeccable and frankly I am unsure Nintendo can outdo their input in the next Zelda installment or the next Nintendo Switch as they have set their own bar, impossibly and impeccably high. Tied with Elden Ring, Doom Eternal, Half Life 2, Halo 3, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and God Of War Ragnarök as the finest video game ever made!… Expand

    Es literalmente hermoso jugabilidad, historia y mecánica etc, tiene a parecerse a Tloz Breath of the wild pero déjame decirte que lo que tiene de parecido lo mejora por mucho ya sea la exploracion o como obtienes las cosas ah!     I have played and loved so much breath of the wild, but tears of the kingdom are another level !
    The musics, the gameplay, the map, the story ! Botw looks like a beta version, the only thing I can criticize it’s like it’s not really user beginner friendly . But the game is incredible, I will absolutely not be surprised if totk is the game of the year.

    Tears of the kingdom is definitely a great sequel to botw, it has three times the world size of botw, and providing more exploring spaces to the game, It's a very successful game and containing way more fun and creativity. The shrines now have many different ways of solving it, also you can use rocket shield to skip shrines very easily.     The best game I've ever played, even it uses some mechanics of Breath of the Wild and base map for the world, it has been completely built from the ground up as completely different, but also awesome game. If you want to go for a great adventure this is your best choice in 2023!

I am 180 hours into the game and I havent even came close to seeing all there is to see. Ultrahand, and fuse change everything. But now you get TONS of materials from killing enemies and more weapons because you can fuse the monster parts they dropped to make a new great weapon! Or, you dont even have to use your weapons on them and you can just build a death machine with ultrahand. This game is truly amazing. It is worth the 70$.… Expand

    Breath of the Wild was a very good game but with a side of flaws. Tears of the Kingdom fixes most of these flaws and turns them into some of the most amazing experiences.

    Story The story had a huge improvement since BoTW. The story is much more engaging with all the characters. Not just the main characters but alot of the NPCs and the environment is engaged with whats happening in each    Breath of the Wild was a very good game but with a side of flaws. Tears of the Kingdom fixes most of these flaws and turns them into some of the most amazing experiences.

    Story
    The story had a huge improvement since BoTW. The story is much more engaging with all the characters. Not just the main characters but alot of the NPCs and the environment is engaged with whats happening in each area and how our hero Link will solve it. The story is not mind boggling and still needs improvement because it is very predictable, it can be better in alot of ways but this is miles better than what we had in BoTW.

    NPCs are alot more aware of their surroundings and everything that Link does. Enemies now work together instead of fighting Link one after another. BoTW had very well scripted enemy behaviour outside and inside combat but ToTK reuses all of it and magnifies everything. Even after hours of playing enemies shows unique behaviour that still amazes me.

    Weapons, Durability and Fuse ability
    I wish it had more variety with weapon types such as dual wield, katanas, daggers, etc. You can technically turn a sword into a scythe or a claymore into a sledgehammer with the new fuse ability but at the end of the day its still a "sword" or a "claymore". The weapon durability is still here but im all for it. I believe weapon durability is an essential part for a vast open world game like ToTK. Having weapons break means you have strategise and use different types of weapons with different properties. This was a problem in BoTW though because weapons broke often and it was simply just not worth killing monsters knowing it will take off durability and offering close to nothing in return. In ToTK, ALL enemies drop something that is useful, yes all of them in my experience. All of them have a scenario where it can be used for something such as fusing, using them while making Zonai devices, quests, combat and much more. This creates an incentive to fight monsters unlike BoTW where ignoring them were a better option.

    Shrines
    They are mostly the same with the same formula but this time the puzzles are much more open ended where there are unlimited solutions to one puzzle in most of the shrines. They basically give you infinite tools to work your way out and however YOU want to complete it. This makes shrines much more enjoyable and not just a chore to complete.

    Side quests are a HUGE improvement. I never bothered to finish or do most of the side quests in BoTW unless it was a shrine quest. They gave little rewards with uninteresting stories and were hardly worth it, ToTK changes it by making the rewards very useful and very dependable by strategically placing them in areas where you need those rewards the most along with the addition of new materials and improvement to the stories in the side quests they have become very fun and you will never get tired of doing them and it wont feel like a chore.

    Exploration
    BoTW had remarkable exploration which was praised by many but ToTK compressed alot more things in its world and makes it much more dense. Every corner or direction you look, there is going to be something you can do or something that will catch your eye whether it be caves, shrines, NPCs, monsters and much much more. I was never in a situation where I didn't know what to do or felt like i had nothing to do. This couples with the creativity and the infinite amount of solutions available to you to do these things which makes this game incredible by exploration alone.

    Issues with ToTK
    Frame rate drops in certain areas but this is entirely Nintendos fault for not innovating. The switch does not need to change, its hybrid feature is good enough that can stay alive forever, we just need better hardware that can at the very least guarantee us 60 FPS. The game is still beautiful but this is kind of an insult to the devs who put such great care and work into the game.
    The story was thrilling and better than BoTW its still very predictable and the way you have to watch memories is too similar to BoTW, I wish link was actually in the story while it happened or make a story be like so. Nonetheless I still liked Ganondorf as a villain but I wish we had more screentime or more involvement with other important characters seen in the memories.

    TL-DR, ToTK just better in every way. Go play.    … Expand

    After 200 Hours into this game i can FINALLY SAY Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom is by far the greatest Zelda game ive ever played. If your one that is into Zelda Lore and want to know more about its history of how hyrule became to be what it is now, then you are in for a treat. 10/10

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Legend of Zelda Tears Of the Kingdom is one of the greatest games to ever release. Many games give open world freedom so you can do whatever you please, but this game goes beyond that in so many ways. You can fuse whatever you want to you weapons. Meat sword? You got it! Spear spear? I guess if you want. You can go on with so many combinations whether you want them to be hilarious or seriously powerful. Another this g you can do in this game is using ultrahand to connect objects together. You can make insane vehicles, go to the sky barrier (I tried it), make homing laser robots. The possibilities are infinite! I personally like connecting tons of rockets to vehicles so that they go super fast. The story itself isn't extraordinary, but decent, but the model for ganondorf is beautiful, the cutscenes can be very impressive for a switch game, and the final dragon battle is a super climactic ending (although the battle isn't very fun). I do think that Zelda getting undraconified at the end is kind of weak and makes the plot less meaningful, but it's a minor issue. Another detail is the amiibos. The new link amiibo does not have impressive drops at all, but the other amiibos give paraglider fabrics which are very nice additions which add lots of fun to your gameplay I personally like the windwaker one and the demon king one. Another thing I like is that you don't need to rely on amiibos and RNG to get the armor from other games. They are located in the depths underneath hyrule. The depths are actually really fun to explore. Even though they're stressful at first, you eventually find your way around. I currently have 102/120 lightroots. Anyways I think that the legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom is an excellent game and is up to par with ocarina of time and link to the past.… Expand

    Ce jeu est pour moi l'un des meilleurs jeux qui existent. L'histoire est très bonne et amusante à jouer. L'exploration en surface est vraiment bien dans certains endroits. Mais l'exploration souterraine et dans les cieux est encore meilleure. Très bon jeu!

    Work of art. Massive step up from BOTW (breath of the wild), and improves on everything disliked about it. Incredibly fun and I have already spent over 150 hours playing this masterpiece. The NPC interactions, the dungeons, the bosses, the combat, the enemies, the mechanisms, EVERYTHING is perfect about this game. Strongly recommend, you will have alot of fun, it's a huge time killer.

    TOTK redefines the meaning of a perfect video game. Its predecessor, BOTW was for me the best single player game of all time until TOTK arrived. Both games are great, but TOTK somehow improves the perfect game and came to innovate with a massive map (explore skies, land and caves underground), new abilities and great puzzles.

I am not even exploring the sky so much as there's so much to do here, BOTW feels like a tiny game compared to this. I seriously don't know how they pulled this off.     The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
