More ways to interact with the world via ultra hand and combining, Epic dungeons that make the divine beasts look bad, and despite carrying over the same world from BOTW, so much has changed in the over world, and you have 2 new massive areas to explore via the sky and the underground.     Objectively, the game is well made, but I understand that open world Zelda is not for everyone. As a BotW and old Zelda fan I feel that they have addressed the problems that BotW had, while bringing back some of the old Zelda charm. I would suggest going into the game with as little outside influence as possible. Unfortunately there has been a lot of toxic back and forth over TotK. SendingObjectively, the game is well made, but I understand that open world Zelda is not for everyone. As a BotW and old Zelda fan I feel that they have addressed the problems that BotW had, while bringing back some of the old Zelda charm. I would suggest going into the game with as little outside influence as possible. Unfortunately there has been a lot of toxic back and forth over TotK.     Out of all my years gaming, I have never had a better experience than with this game. The build mechanics rival that of minecraft, the story rivals that of all other zelda titles, and all the magestic environment blows enterprises owned by Disney out of the water. A game does not need to be 4k and 60 fps to be the best.

    An uninspired Zelda with zero evolution compared to BotW.
    The construction mechanic isn't as deep as people say and all it does is complicate things that were simpler before with the Sheika tablet abilities.
    I thought the plot would be deeper and more epic, but it's just as bland.

    Meh. BotW while being technically impressive is far from my favorite Zelda game. Tears is just more of the same. I mean it is literally the same game 90% of the time.

    The building mechanic is interesting for a while but it gets old pretty quick. The crap cooking system is back as is the ridiculously low weapon durability.     这作并没有当时旷野之息从无到有的震撼 但是相较于前作无论核心能力，地图设计，地图细节都是全方位的超越。旷野之息带给人的感觉是很多地方尚有欠缺的神一般的开放世界探索，王国之泪带给人的是细节全面补充的充实的自由探险。

    At first I wondered if this game would feel too much like BotW. Thankfully I was proven wrong. Not only is this game a total upgrade in every way, it also feels completely separate as a game. The exploration feels more satisfying, less empty space as well as more places to explore. I'm impressed the switch pulled off such a feat. NPCs also feel more significant.

    Just play the freaking game, this game is the definition of what a video game is.. just like ocarina of time did in that time. Its the reason why we loved in first place with the thing that we call video games, is a reason to keep playing video games, it reminds you why you started playing video games.. it just has that feeling..

If you’re looking for great graphics or whatever, one, go touch grass, and two, that’s not what the games about. Here are my following points in response to some bad reviews I saw:

    The game isn’t perfect, but literally nothing is. This is a great game, the plot isn’t too sound, but the story will stick with me for a long time. Discovering the depths for the first time, crafting new and unique weapons and testing them in battle, discovering fun references and having a full huge multilayered world to discover has been an unforgettable epic adventure unforgettable.

    Anyways, the map is far larger, I myself have spent hours exploring the new depths, which are about the same size as the regular map, not to mention there are also sky islands. I enjoy going to these places and gathering resources that offer interesting mechanics, and fighting in unique and fun combat situations. The normal map is also completely revamped, and at times nearly unrecognizable. I really don’t understand how people are angry about the “reused” map, it’s just plain stupid. I don’t recommend just following the main story, as I had more fun doing things out of order, getting super late game stuff in the early game even was a decision I had a lot of fun with. Overall the story is simple and just kind of cool, there are more stakes this time, and it has some more in depth characters. Nothing too thought provoking or anything, but that’s not what Zelda game stories are about. I personally don’t like the zonai tech too much, but I’m sure plenty of fans will have a great time with it. People who say the durability system isn’t fixed at all are wrong. The problem wasn’t that weapons broke, but that there wasn’t enough incentive to fight when you know your weapons will break, and this game provides far more incentive with the new crafting. Overall this has been one of the most fun and epic adventures in the franchise yet, and overall already one of my favorite games. I hope you play it and just try to have fun instead of nitpick every detail about frame rate or voice acting.    … Expand

    I have not enjoyed playing a game this much in a long time. They took parts from BotW and improved on them greatly. The price tag is worth it, in my opinion, due to the sheer amount of hours that you can put into this game. The game feels familiar while also giving a new experience at the same time.

    I wanna love this game I really do but once again I can't find myself exploring this vast open world similarly to that of BOTW. The world is gigantic but so much is just empty space and wandering aimlissly. The main reason I can't fully enjoy this game is the absolute complete control to do anything you want... I mean this totally ruined the game for me. YOU LITERALLY CAN CHEESE ANYI wanna love this game I really do but once again I can't find myself exploring this vast open world similarly to that of BOTW. The world is gigantic but so much is just empty space and wandering aimlissly. The main reason I can't fully enjoy this game is the absolute complete control to do anything you want... I mean this totally ruined the game for me. YOU LITERALLY CAN CHEESE ANY DUNGEON ANY SHRINE and solving the "puzzles" hardly ever feel rewarding because they don't have one clear solution. The side quests are boring and the NPCs are so abundent they all just blend together and have very few memorable characters outside your teammates. To put it simply this game is to big for it's own good. They really should of just shrunk the map by like 10 times and filled it with much more interesting stuff to do. This is a prime example of quantity over quality. Comparing this to a Read Dead Redemption or Grand Theft Auto or any open world game in the last 5 years does not do it any favors.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When you first boot up the game, it doesn't really feel like a whole lot has changed from breath of the wild. It totally has. If you played breath of the wild for a hundred plus hours like I did, the more you pick your way through this version of Hyrule, the more delighted you'll be with just how much has been tweaked and altered and added and filled in in little ways. I'm only maybe 20 hours in, but I'm already wholly satisfied with the $70 I paid for my pre-order, and I don't even think I've done 2% of what's available in the game. There's more than twice the landmass there was in the original game, and all of the landmass that was there in the original is so tweaked and altered that it might as well be a completely different place. This game excels as a sequel, and as a standalones all the game. 10 out of 10.… Expand

For example One of the most common criticisms was the small variety of Monsters in BOTW
    Tears of The Kingdom not only brings back the old enemies but they also got a redesign, now they can make different attacks and their way of organizing has changed They have also added new enemies to the game (some of these may be familiar to you if you follow the series) Another of the most common criticisms was the issue of weapons within the game and how quickly they wore out.
    While the mechanics are still present within the video game, they devised a way in which this same thing stops being so annoying, I mean the combination You can literally mix almost any object to your weapons to boost them or give them some extra effect.
    In addition, it usually gives them a little more durability to this same weapon.
    Personally, there were times when I wanted to try a new combination and I didn't even have room to pick up this new weapon because my inventory was already full of so many weapons that I had already merged and I had to get rid of one that I already had. It is true that the game can not maintain the constant 30fps at absolutely all times, but it never becomes something frustrating or unplayable and this is noticeable in the Tutorial of the game or for small moments after finishing it, how when using the ability of Ultramano, you may notice some drops in fps but they are not abrupt causing it to be impossible to play this wonderful game.
    I will summarize it in this, so as not to continue writing the Bible in the form of an attempt to review. If you played BOTW and liked the experience it offered, you will definitely love this new experience offered by Tears Of the Kingdom

    This game is a masterpiece. It's better than BOTW which till now was my all time favorite game. This game causes you to think, if you're the type of gamer who actually likes to figure out extremely complex puzzles and who enjoys innovative game play mechanics then saddle up and return to Hyrule. Enjoy!

    Desde que tengo 15 he jugado Zelda y de verdad que de todos los que he jugado este juego me ha llenado de tanta alegrías con su inmenso mapa, grandes y nuevas cosas por descubrir. Es un juego totalmente recomendable para aquellos que aman juegos de mundo abierto.

    Progresso lento, puzzles irritantes e infantis que parecem uma cópia dos poderes de Silver the Hedgehog, problema de queda de FPS, gráficos de Xbox 360/PS3, problemas de desempenho e performance do console, problemas técnicos e alguns bugs principalmente no uso dos poderes ao unir materiais com slime, mapas vazios sem vida e falta de músicas e trilhas sonoras impactantes. Basicamente esse novo Zelda é um reprint do game anterior cujo sofreu um nítido downgrade e teve algumas adições de mecânicas, puzzles, poderes desinteressantes e não inovadores, além de tudo Isso as armas agora quebrarem bem mais rapidamente. Game extremamente chato, não inova em absolutamente nada! Agora temos uma história e narrativas por trás de Link e Zelda, mas isso não é suficiente para ser digno de GOTY ou pior seria "melhor jogo de todos os tempos" como a mídia e alguns "fãs" lunáticos dizem. Todos sabem que a mídia "passa pano" para os games da Nintendo, infelizmente eu não irei passar e não deixarei de denunciar! O jogo sequer tem dublagem para Português e Português Br pois a Nintendo sempre nos tratou como "inferiores" infelizmente não temos culpa em viver em uma grande nação que é má administrada por ser governada por políticos corruptos, que por sinal não são muito diferentes de certas pessoas... This game has a great pre title - sequence, a beautiful soundtrack (the music is rather jazzy, this time), lovely designs, some kind of story, memorable NPCs and some really nice ideas.
    But it is really boring. And I really hate "Ultrahand". Life is to short to master the unfair made up - physics of an unfair made up- videogame-world where nothing really matters. In my opinion the first ZELDA without a hook. Including "Phantom Hourglass" (yes, and I know, there are a lot of hooks and you have to glue them to the back side of leafs to juggle some stones under an alien - volcano or the like). Enthusiasts say that you can create strange and obscene things within the game. You can scribble and write strange and obscene things in each book, if you like. That doesn`t mean you`re creative.     Sinceramente iba con las espectatibas muy altas y no sabía si me gustaría tanto como la precuela . Después de haberlo jugado pienso que es mucho mejor que el antecesor , es como si fuese el juego completo y el anterior una demostración. Mis espectatibas aún siguen altas por lo que aún puede ofrecer el juego , además rendimiento es estable y no me han dado muchos bajones, el estilo gráficoSinceramente iba con las espectatibas muy altas y no sabía si me gustaría tanto como la precuela .     Zelda breath of the wild gives a sense of adventure that can get you lost for hours, But tears of the kingdom gives a real adventure where you can solve any problem, the way you want.     Amazing game and highly addictive. The game allows for such creativity and fun. Its nearly a perfect game in terms of games design. Id love to see better graphics but I love the atomspheric feel and anime style. And to the people review bombing and giving the game 0 out of 10, grow up. Im glad I dont know anyone who would rate TotK as a Zero, they must be soul-less jerks who took one look at the graphics and quit. Or uncreative people who find no joy in games unless their being dropped into a shrinking circle from the sky in a battle royale FPS. If you don't like TotK and actually played it, be honest and give it at least a 5 or 7 or something reasonable. Zero is reserved for the worst game of all time, not one of the best of all time.     If you liked Breath of the Wild, you'll love Tears of the Kingdom. It takes the same world and engine and adds new places to explore and new ways to interact with the environment. On top of this the dungeon experience is improved as rather than divine beasts you explore temples that take inspiration from older games while still allowing you the freedom to tackle them as you see fit.

It definitely feels new and I love the new challenges the shrines give! There is very little explanation but that's how the old-school games worked, you just have to figure it out! I love it! Gráficos datados, drop de fps insano em algumas áreas, o switch as vezes parece que ta pedindo perdão. É o majoras mask do breath. Muito ambicioso para um console tão fraco, podia ser melhor.

    I'm about 5 to 10 hours in, I've only done the Rito dungeon so far, but let me just say this game is a masterpiece. There's so much more stuff to do, I won't spoil but if you want traditional dungeons, they are back. The story is very epic so far too. Creating things is so fun, and everything feels fresh and new.     The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
