    Completely redesigned gameplay based on new mechanics with the addition of the basic mechanics from the previous game is simply breathtaking. It would take too long to describe. Try it yourself, you won't regret it. 10/10

    Amazing. The new abilities are fun and creative and the sky level tutorial alone is huge. Of course the low IQ chuds are here to review bomb a good game because it's not a linear hallway fest that holds your hand every step of the way. I ask this question to the morons giving this masterpiece a low score, can you name ONE game that even comes close? I doubt it.

    If BotW wasn't your style, I can't say for certain that this game will change that for you. What I can say is that it takes everything that made BotW special and turns it up to 11. It also throws in some more special moments, crafted experiences that will probably make more old school Zelda fans like myself very happy. Overall, this is simply just the most amount of fun I've had with aIf BotW wasn't your style, I can't say for certain that this game will change that for you.     I played 30 hours time. but still amazing contents are here. botw was released, 97 Metacritic. but this is another level. totk is sequel of botw but still many contents and wonderful story. you must play this game.

Three maps in total, with a much more alive world than than its predecessor. Hyrule feels more alive than its ever been, in any LOZ game (save for LTTP). I considered BOTW, to be the best game ever made, with Witcher 3: wild hunt being aWhere do I begin? The story, this time around is a vary fleshed out one, and it's amazing to see the return of semi-traditional dungeons, and actual temple boss battles, don't even get me started on Gannondorf. As this was easily the best fight with him since Wind Waker. Buy this freaking game. Just buy it, you are doing a disservice to yourself if you don't play this.… Expand

    I have spend the last couple of days since release playing this game and i am positively surprised by the huge scale this game has. One of the main critique points was the reuse of the BOTW map but i have to say that it feels vastly different since there is so many new things to discover. Out of 100 I would give this game 95-97 since my main grudge with it and its prequel, the weapon breaking system, hasnt been addressed the way i was hoping for. Still i can see this being one of the games people are going to remember fondly for many years.… Expand

    Breath of the wild has completely turned the saga upside down, a great fresh blow that has divided the purist of the saga but has also been a huge success. The wait was huge, 6 years later. Well the fans of the saga and even the others will be satisfied! Nintendo offers us a marvel, a masterpiece! A much improved breath of the wild base, for this sequel that will break all records!

    I can't believe that a game like this was made. The only people that could achieve this were at Nintendo.

    This is a game with the most tightly intertwined mechanics I have ever experienced. And all of these mechanics are game changers in such a way, that I was blown away by every one of them when I got them.     As a sequel it's pretty much everything that i ever wanted. Also the new mechanics in the game is super fun to use and utilize, the only thing is that for people who played botw and didn't enjoy it, will most likely not like this game, but as someone who put in 250 hours in botw this game is a absolute dream come true and lives to the hype and the sky islands and the underground are superAs a sequel it's pretty much everything that i ever wanted. Also the new mechanics in the game is super fun to use and utilize, the only thing is that for people who played botw and didn't enjoy it, will most likely not like this game, but as someone who put in 250 hours in botw this game is a absolute dream come true and lives to the hype and the sky islands and the underground are super fun in my personel opinion. And it's incredible how a potato consoles is able to play this games in pretty much consistent 30 fps, but the frames sometime drops, especially in villages or when building, but if that doesn't bother you then i fully recommend this game.… Expand

    Nintento nos presenta un mapa que por diversas sircunstancias se ha vista en muchos cambios
    Entre esos cambios se encuentran los resultados de nuestra anterior interaccion en el juego anterior
    Es muy satisfactorio ver que todas las cosas en que nos vimos envueltos en breath of the wild se ven reflejadas en tears of the kingdom
    Por ultimo eh de señalar unos oequeños bajones de frames que para ser sincero son casi imperciptibles

    Loved the fact that I get to return to Hyrule in this new way with all the added stuff. The original was amazing for how it allowed us to break and use its own game physics to do crazy things. This is just that on steroids and so much fun. Also love how this was a direct sequel to botw. If there was ever a Link and Zelda I wanted to see "what happened after" for, it was these two.

The dungeons are still not back to their full form, but are still better then BOTW. Even though this doesn't feel like a Zelda game, It is still a masterpiece Nonetheless.… Expand

The story and lore is much, much better compared to Breath of the Wild, I know some people had a issue with Breath of the Wild's silent and simplistic story telling this has changed however. The new abilities are fun to use and give you a huge verity in customization,Tears of the Kingdom is a masterpiece of craftsmanship.     We all gave breath of the wild, a pass back when it came out because it boldly re-examined the Zelda conventions, but it was a rather empty game at the end of the day. THIS game however is a masterpiece. It is simply the epitome of what Zelda in video games can be. Magical.

The new world is amazing and makes you want to explore it further, especially with the new abilities which make the old ones look boring. What's not boring is the new, changed Hyrule. It's based on the old map (with many changes), but that's just the "ground level Hyrule". Without spoiling too much... there are new areas, and they're BIG and full of things new to explore.

    If this game didn't meet your expectations, that's on you. But you can't deny that the game was made with care and passion. The way I like to play games, I already see myself putting an unholy amount of time into this gem.

    I don't know how but they upgraded the first one, its true that its similar in a lot of ways but its a sequel so it works. it doesnt get repetitive if u played the previous one but if u didnt play botw go directly to this one because u gonna enjoy it even more. I applaud nintendo for a mind blowing achievement. essentially their most important IP.

    zelda fans and botw enjoyers will be pleased to return. the adventure is as wondrous as ever in a more redefined experience. from the moment you set foot in land and see a tree becoming reanimated to attack you. puzzles that make you push and learn with creativity. creating ways to reach your goal. and create tools with physics. above, middle and below. will make you realize the magnitude of the games size and content. the developers efforts shine. my first battle with colgera along tulin was probably the one of the funnest experiences i had in a long time. there aren't many games like this. well maybe elden ring can fill that sense of void. every shrine and every path you take to get what you need and get you stuck in a world. everything I experienced was rewarded by fun.

    A great sequel to BOTW, expands abilities and storyline. Dont believe the people saying its a copy. Nothing like COD/FIFA games year after year. Beautifully done with so much new to do. Similar map and graphics. Everything else changed. 10/10

    Everything you love and need in a Zelda game. It takes breath of the wild and fixes any possible complaint you may have had. It’s truly amazing.

Sure, that third trailer was awesome, but to me at least, it still appeared too similar to its 2017 predecessor and I didn’t think it would grab me like more traditional Zelda’s titles such as The Wind Waker and A Link Between WorldsAfter very much enjoying – but not exactly falling in love with – Breath of the Wild, I was admittedly pretty sceptical in the run up to Tears of the Kingdom. Sure, that third trailer was awesome, but to me at least, it still appeared too similar to its 2017 predecessor and I didn’t think it would grab me like more traditional Zelda’s titles such as The Wind Waker and A Link Between Worlds did in the past. However, after more than 200 hours of exhilarating gameplay, I can comfortably state that this game is the easiest 10/10 I’ll ever give.

    From the opening few hours in Sky Isles tutorial area, I was utterly hooked and didn’t once stop to dip into a single other game across Switch, PS5 and Series X until I’d finished what is, for me, an unadulterated masterpiece and the very peak of Nintendo’s creative vision. On and off, it took me six whole years to put 125 hours into Breath of the Wild, but it took me less than six weeks to reach the same milestone in Tears of the Kingdom. The Switch is definitely showing its age these days, but somehow, TOTK manages to look absolutely stunning on both a 65” 4K living room TV and the systems own OLED screen in handheld mode. Yes, the frame rate does occasionally dip below 30 frames-per-second, but after a couple hours I stopped even noticing it. Seriously, if you’re still on the fence, do yourself a favour and jump off right now and pick this game up. I highly doubt you’ll regret it for even the merest moment.

    Tears of the Kingdom is without question my game of the year so far and, as far as I’m concerned, the greatest video game ever made. Yes, it really is ‘that’ good. Seriously, just give the game a chance, and you’ll probably feel just as strongly about it as I do.    … Expand

    but damn this is a fine game. not even ps5/pc 's 70 buck games hold a chance against this mastahpeece.

    Tear of the Kingdom is another great game from the Zelda Franchise.

    Already have more than 10+ hours in the game and barely scratch the whole map of ToTK, puzzles in shrines are quite unique compared to the first one, some of them will require you to think outside the box using the Rune (Botw)/ DIY game mech they include in the game which is fun for the most part (excluding the clunky    Tear of the Kingdom is another great game from the Zelda Franchise.

    The combat is pretty much the same nothing has changed, they gave you the ability to fuse weapons to another object making the weapon more durable or stronger which is very helpful.

    The main problem I have with TotK is, though flying islands scattered at the skies of Hyrule, Hyrule itself was the same map as Botw with a change of landscape prior to the events at the start of TotK, You need to repeat the same thing you've done from Botw in order to reveal the whole area in your map you need to go to towers (different method this time) and scan the whole area via flying up the skies to reveal the area which is pretty much the same and a hassle imo since it was the same map we explore from Botw, Clunky controls when you're in the Rune/DIY mode rotating an object will literally piss you off while this mech is fun it'll test your patience with the clunky rotational controls.
    Performance as expected it's a switch game a 30 fps with frame drops in certain areas, and graphics is the same as Botw.

    Overall the game is fun with some few problems still exists from Botw.

    I liked Botw but I found that when I wanted to replay it the beginning was quite boring and slow.

The game is made very good and the only complaint I have so far is the occasional drop of FPS, when the camera is inside the leaves of trees for example and my hope is that the next gen hardware from Nintendo will have support for this generation as well with a lot more power. Anyone who likes Singleplayer experiences and any previous Zelda game will definitely find some fun for themselves here. Comparing this masterpiece to all the other AAA titles, it's the only one deserving the AAA-status so far!    … Expand

    People don't understand that the graphics don't make the experience, for example Hogwarts Legacy has excellent graphics but the gameplay is so boring.     I genuinely love this game, and think it is one of the best games on the entire Nintendo Switch. I suck at this game, and I'm not a Zelda fan, but I have enjoyed every second I played this game.

    Tears of The Kingdom is the perfect sequel that all BOTW fans could dream:

    - The game is really beautiful, yes technical can limit but for a switch, the graphics is really insane
    - All default of the previous game is corrected: better dungeon, more mob variety, more tools to create weapon and custom expérience.

    The only default for me is you can't stock more than 64 photo in the tablet xD

    Great game. Biggest open world I’ve played: sky, surface, and underground. And all the transitions are seamless, other than shrines. Story is amazing.

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
