    I cannot explain how I love this game. It’s just beyond my expectations. I was really not sure how they will give us something that is better than BOTW, but they actually did! If you don’t play this game, you are missing a lot!!

    The beginning of the game grabbed me, then, the first time in freedom, I had the feeling "Ah **** here we go again" and somehow couldn't get into the game. New day, started the game, took a different route and suddenly there it was, wow, the new mechanics hooked me, I could dive into the world and my adventure began.

    I loved it, even though it didn't impact me as much as BOTW, it's a great game and fixes some of its errors, so if you enjoyed BOTW, you should really play this game

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom es una secuela más esperada del año de 2023 y teniendo en cuenta de que es la secuela de Zelda: Beth of the Wild no es para menos, es una secuela que ceje nuestras expectativas y se ríe de ellas, es una salvajada que no solo pueda tener un juego así de bestial una consola tan limitada como una Nintendo switch sino que es la respuesta a la preguntaThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom es una secuela más esperada del año de 2023 y teniendo en cuenta de que es la secuela de Zelda: Beth of the Wild no es para menos, es una secuela que ceje nuestras expectativas y se ríe de ellas, es una salvajada que no solo pueda tener un juego así de bestial una consola tan limitada como una Nintendo switch sino que es la respuesta a la pregunta de: ¿Si Zelda Breth of the Wild es de una consola prácticamente obsoleta cuando salió compitiendo con la PS4 y Xbox One, que hará Nintendo teniendo una consola mucho mas potente cómodo la switch? Pues este juego es la respuesta, los 6 años de desarrollo de Zelda TOTK para mi opinión an merecido completamente la pena, además de que dice mucho de Nintendo el que se cogieran todo un año para pulir el juego, sobresale mas con juegos como Redfall, Forspoken, juegos que salieron rotos de lanzamiento.

    La única pega que se le puede ver a este juego es un poco la historia, para mi opinión abría estado mejor que el prologo fuera mas largo, no un prologo sino que un primer cuarto del juego fuera para el prologo, esto para poder estar mas cerca de Zelda y Por una vez que no la tenemos que rescatar y podemos estar mas tiempo con ella para que cuando llegara la hora de perderla fuera todavía mas impactante, y en final (SIN EXPOILERS) que las dos perdidas de los dos héroes fueran permanentes, para que sintiéramos de que esto ha costado, a dolido pero que lo hemos conseguido, emos acabado con el mal, aunque luego te devolviera al punto de control antes de la batalla como si nada hubiera pasado. Pero quitando esto yo no habría cambiado nada más excepto la cutrada de la cinemática de la guerra del destierro que nos cuentan cinco veces con la misma cinemática. El resto de la historia y como esta contada de parece perfecto.

    Pero estos son los únicos fallos que veo que se le pueden sacar al juego el resto me parece perfecto y todos los huevos que le faltan a la historia los tiene el gamplay que es no solo el mejor de la saga sino de muchos videojuegos, cada uno de los cuatro poderes podría haber sido la mecánica principal de un juego cada uno pero no, están todas en el mismo videojuego.
    La ultra mano que es una versión del imán elevada a la cuarta; Retroceso que es una vuelta de tuerca a estasis; La Infiltración que demuestra la increíble agilidad de los diseñadores rediseñando el mapa y haciendo las islas teniendo en cuenta esta mecánica; Y por ultimo la agilidad de fusionar es la versión de la ultra mano para armas, pero que además soluciona el problema que tenían la gente con la durabilidad de las armas, todos los nuevos poderes son grandiosos.

    Además de que Nintendo dice que Teras of the Kimdom repite mapa de Breth of the Wild pero esto es mentira, muy mentira, repite la base de la superficie de Hyrule pero la mayor parte del mapa de BOTW lo han cambiado para que la gente como yo que se sabe el mapa como la palma de mi "ultra mano" (eso era un chiste) tenga una experiencia como la que tubo en 2017 cuando salió el original no cambiando el tronco pero si un montón de matices haciéndote dudar y preguntándote: ¿Esto estaba aquí?, ¿Esto lo han cambiado?. Lo mejor de todo esquí este juego tiene otros dos mapas mas: En primer lugar tenemos la superficie, luego tenemos las islas flotantes que la verdad no abarcan tanto terreno y arrea pero la que abarcan la hacen a la perfección, dando rienda suelta a la ultra mano con materiales y puzles para ella y luego la mayor sorpresa del juego, el subsuelo este no se anuncia en ninguna parte, Nintendo si que hablo de las islas celestes pero lo peor es que no hablamos de cuatro cuevas que también las tiene el juego el juego y están muy bien echas, sino de un mega cueva tan densa como la superficie comunicada por los abismos mega agujeros que se conectan con la superficie estos con vegetación, animales y enemigos completamente nuevos, porno mencionar que estos enemigos quitan vida máxima solo la puedes restablecer subiendo a la superficie o hiendo a unas raíces que las hay a millares pero lo suficiente mente lejos para que no se sientan diferentes.

    En definitiva si quieres un juego de aventura o mundo abierto este no es que sea una buena recomendación sino un imprescindible de la switch un clásico junto a su precuela BOTW al niel que lo fueron Zelda Ocarina of Time y Mayora´s Mask. Los únicos fallos que le encuentro al juego se encuentran en la historia pero con sus peros una muy buena y puede que para muchos emotiva, pero el gameplay no excepcional sino majestuoso como la musica tan grandiosa como la de su precuela pero más épica, majestuosa y grandiosa. Pero lo que mas a cambiado es el verbo del juego , si el verbo de BOTW era explora, el de TOTK es imagina, crea y luego explora por eso se le pueden perdonar los fallos en la historia y por eso no es solo el mejor juego del año sino de la generación.

    I was skeptical about the sequel, it looks exactly the same as the last part and the mechanics of vehicle construction were not impressed, because I played a lot in Scrap Mechanic, Trailmakers, Besiege, Main Assembly, Space Engineers and other similar designers.

    But, it was worth trying on your own and it's already impossible to break away, again I stayed up late at night and forget about the rest of the business. I was surprised again, impressed to the depths of my soul and very pleasant impressions in the process of exploring the world, solving riddles!

    Yes, the map is recognisable from its predecessor. Yes, the graphics aren't as realistic as whatever grinding live service BS is put out on other platforms. But it's a significant upgrade over BotW, and looks amazing in the same way The Windwaker did. Mechanics are straight up fun, I loved the story, and all around I'll be playing it for months to come.

Genius nintendo had seen everyone talking 'skyward sword' cloud kingdom, and completely hid the underworld that's is the same size as the overworld. It's focused, it's truly story driven, there is no boredom in terms of vast empty areas. The music is beautiful, the puzzles work, the annoying aspects of botw have been addressed. It's near perfect. The series is in the best possible hands with this dev. Total masterpiece. If you are looking at graphics as the make or break, don't purchase, this game is not for you.     I must admit that initially, I wasn’t a big fan of BOTW when it was released. I felt that it lacked variety and found the shrines to be rather dull. However, with Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK), those concerns are no longer applicable. TOTK addresses the issues I had with its predecessor and offers a wide array of diverse environments to explore. It has truly exceeded my expectations in manyI must admit that initially, I wasn’t a big fan of BOTW when it was released. I felt that it lacked variety and found the shrines to be rather dull. However, with Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK), those concerns are no longer applicable. TOTK addresses the issues I had with its predecessor and offers a wide array of diverse environments to explore. It has truly exceeded my expectations in many ways. The game essentially serves as a massive physics-based puzzle, which never fails to amaze me.

    The storyline is captivating, and the fusion system for weapons introduces a fascinating new twist that allows for fresh strategies. While the durability of the gear remains a minor drawback, the ability to forge your own weapons encourages continuous experimentation to optimize their effectiveness. Initially, I was hesitant about the construction and building elements, but Nintendo executed it exceptionally well, making it feel organic and inspiring. This unique aspect of the game adds to its overall appeal.

    Furthermore, TOTK pushes the boundaries of the Nintendo Switch’s capabilities, showcasing what can be achieved on what could be considered an outdated device. Sure, some frame-rate issues exist, but considering how amazing the game actually is, one can easily overlook them. I genuinely don’t understand the substantial amount of criticism this game receives. Although the world may seem partly familiar, everything feels refreshingly new and different. For me, TOTK is nothing short of a perfect 10. It not only stands as the pinnacle of the Zelda series but also has the potential to claim the top spot in my personal list of the greatest games of all time—although Elden Ring poses a formidable challenge. Nevertheless, in terms of originality, TOTK undoubtedly emerges as the victor.

    This is the greatest game I've ever had the pleasure to play. It's as if it were MADE for me!!! That's because I'm a life-long gamer, and this game was MADE for those that love GAMES!

    Firstly, the presentation is out of this world, beyond anything I've seen on the Switch before. The visuals, music... Everything in the game-world comes together beautifully. That's because I'm a life-long gamer, and this game was MADE for those that love GAMES!

    Firstly, the presentation is out of this world, beyond anything I've seen on the Switch before. The visuals, music... Everything in the game-world comes together beautifully. Despite the limited horsepower of the Switch (which is a handheld console running 2015 hardware), the presentation as a whole (during gameplay) comes together in a way that's above even the latest and greatest from other developers with VASTLY more powerful hardware. The world is wonderfully simulated to an impressive level of detail and due to this, feels alive. Only titles from the likes of Rockstar such as Red Dead Redemption gives this simulated world a run for its money imo. Standing on a sky island in the long billowing grass, rich with wildlife, and seeing the vast land below, clouds rolling over, is just breathtaking. The grand sense of scale is like nothing I've seen in an open world game before. It's as if every feature of the landscape is calling out to you, calling out that a fantastical adventure lies ahead.

    The Story & Cutscenes are greatly improved over the previous title 'Breath of the Wild', much to my delight. They've pretty much been improved in all areas, direction, graphical fidelity, animation quality, story telling & frequency.

    The game feels completely refreshed over BOTW (despite people that haven't played it calling it BOTW 1.5), it instantly cements itself as a brand new adventure... The land of Hyrule returns from the last game but it has changed dramatically, there's a whole new world in the sky, new enemies, new shrines, new abilities (all of which are crazy creative, to a shocking degree, and feel AWESOME to use). NEW EVERYTHING. The only thing that remains from BOTW is the graphical style (but now there is more variety to the themes), some features of the landscape of the land below (as it takes place in the same setting), and some of the core gameplay features that worked in BOTW, although most of those have received QOL improvements or other changes/overhauls.

    The abilities... My word, the Nintendo devs must have been on some hard hallucinogenics to come up with the new abilities in Link's arsenal. They are incredibly creative and offer gameplay opportunities that I've not experienced in any other game, such as the ability to be CREATIVE yourself. The puzzles in the game can be solved in a ludicrous number of ways, and coming up with your own silly ways to solve them is extremely fun & rewarding. The abilties in the previous game did feel somewhat 'restricted' as if the devs were scared to give the player 'too much power'. This game completely fixes this complaint, the new abilities are beyond whacky and give so much power to the player but still without being overpowered.

    Toga Link with his long hair is also just FABULOUS. Love the new look.

    My only real negative so far would be that It can drop to 20fps at worst when using the ability 'ultrahand' or displaying very graphically intensive scenes but that hasn't affected my experience much, most of the time any action is going on it's a locked 30fps, and the input lag remains constant, which is actually a great ACHIEVEMENT on the Switch with this game. Anyone that says otherwise is quite uneducated and ignorant on the topic of game optimisation & hardware. It's very playable and when you play it, you melt into the experience, not giving a single hoot for the resolution or FPS. This is a very well-optimised game for the Switch and should be lauded as such.

    The game works on DAY 1, no bugginess & no 'we'll fix it later' from Nintendo. Just a solid release that works great. Almost unheard of in today's industry. If any game deserves the new inflated prices of videogames, it's this one. Nintendo still know how to deliver a great game.

    I will add finally that if you truly HATED the gameplay in BOTW, this game might not change that or be your cup of tea, although a lot of complaints that people had for BOTW have been rectified, so if you thought BOTW was a 7/10, this game could be a 10 for you.

    Even if the game isn't your cup of tea, you'd have to be pretty dull to not see or appreciate the effort and expert game design throughout that the devs have delivered. It's a work of art, as has been every mainline Zelda game since Ocarina of Time in 1998. Any user score below 7 is from a blatant salty troll (that probably hasn't even got the game), ignore them.

    I'd give this game an 11/10 if I could, it's one of the best games I've ever played. I wonder what Nintendo have in store for the next Zelda? The mind boggles. To top this they'll have to pull out all the stops once again.    … Expand

You can go online and see an endless amount of creative machines and contraptions that people have built. Exploration is a blast and there is something in every corner.     You know, Breath of the Wild is a great game but it was more of a proof of concept. It has a large detailed open world which is interesting to explore and in which you wanna live, but the dungeons and the story part of the game are not that good cuz it seems the devs were focusing exactly on the open world in BotW. Tears of the Kingdom improves this. The dungeons and also the shrines areYou know, Breath of the Wild is a great game but it was more of a proof of concept.     Remarkable! If you played BOTW it feels so great to be back in Hyrule in this way but with ENDLESS new surprises around every turn. If you’re new to this it is so welcoming and takes its time to truly immerse you into the world. I doubt I’m even a quarter through the game at this point and I’ve already laughed, got teary, sat in awe, and just had the best time!

    I loved BOTW, but TOTK makes it look like a tech demo. An amazing game I've spent over 100 hours in already. It is definitely one of the best games I've ever played.

    This game is amazing. It gives you so much to do, but you can do whatever you want, in the order you want, at the pace you want. I literally spend hours just building things just because I felt like it. Every time I stopped to look around, I always saw a few things near by that seemed interesting. A shrine, a fire, some mini bosses, an interesting looking land mass, and more. This is aThis game is amazing. I love the exploration in this game - as I did on Breath of the Wild - and I also live it's story. I mean, Ganondorf returns after all. However, there is one I didn't like that much compared to the other games in the series. The puzzles, dungeons and shrines, whileA true masterpiece like the whole series. I finished the main story on 120 hours and I still have a lot of things to do. I love the exploration in this game - as I did on Breath of the Wild - and I also live it's story. I mean, Ganondorf returns after all. However, there is one I didn't like that much compared to the other games in the series. The puzzles, dungeons and shrines, while creative due to the new abilities and freedom of Link's actions, where very easy to solve.     TOTK improves on its predecessor in almost every single way, it's brimming with creativity and innovation and it excels in both atmosphere and its quality as an open world game. It's impressive how a game that literally shares half its map with BOTW manages to be so different. Hell, even the performance is very close to its predecessor. Around the same resolution quality and fluctuations, and you can expect smooth 30FPS gameplay except in a few situations, even when a lot of stuff is happening on screen.

    All in all, TOTK is so far the top GOTY contender.    … Expand

    A true masterpiece. A solid story, fun mechanics, and a master class soundtrack. It took what Breath of the Wild established, and perfected it. I’m my opinion, the best Zelda of the series. A true S tier game!

    Botw was this game where you were on an adventure by yourself, discovering and conquering the world. In Totk, it feels so much different. The world is filled with characters and quests and interactions, it's amazing. The feel is completely different from Botw.

    Really great game. I'm not even a Zelda fan, and no, it's not a copypaste of Breath of the Wild, it's a direct sequel, but it innovates with new quests, abilities etc... it's the most fun game I've played in years

Que je suis content d'être là pour jouer à ce qui sera pour moi un des meilleurs jeux de ma vie. Il améliore tout ce que Botw faisait déjà de bien dans son level design et corrige ce qui déplaisait aux fans de la license( armes, déplacements etc), mais il ajoute tellement en contenu, je pensais avoir fini le jeu en ayant le même nombre de sanctuaires que dans Botw mais non le jeu est bien plus riche, bien plus vaste, le scénario bien mieux écrit tout en restant du Zelda, les npc sont plus interactifs qu'avant. Le combat final corrige le manque de difficulté et de sensation épique qu'on pouvait reprocher à Botw.
    Pour ce qui est du reste, le gameplay offre tellement au joueur à lui par sa propre imagination de s'approprier son Hyrule. Ce jeu sera mon jardin, un lieu où je me promenerai pour sûr à l'avenir.    … Expand

We are talking about someone who felt Skyward Sword was the direction the series was always meant to go in and is actively angry it didn't.     If you are not one of those people and haven't exploded in anger trying to figure out my I.P. address to SWAT me, you're probably going to enjoy this game. I am willing to bet if you are a gamer at all, there is a genuine chance that 97% of the people reading this will love this game, why?

    The first open world since Witcher 3 that feels this content deep, begging you just to explore and have fun knowing the whole while you are going around genuinely interested in what you're doing that you will 100% run into things you didn't know you would be finding, that add to the overall experience as you go. Remember, Fromsoftware cited Breath of the Wild which feels like the tech demo leading up to Tears of the Kingdom, as the core inspiration for last year's GOTY Elden Ring.

    I could go on, but it's everything we wanted Breath of the Wild to be, and more, a lot more.

Even the old locations have changed enough, so that they feel just as fresh to explore as in breath of the wild.
    The new abilities, allowing you to fuse weapons together and create wild contraptions, are absolutely amazing. Youll spend douzens of hours just building weird vehicles, from simple cars to bomber aircrafts. Fusing materials to weapons also fixes the durability issues of botw and greatly rewards fighting monster camps.
    Shrines have returnted, though they are much more fun and more challenging than in the prequel. The divine beasts have been replaced by bigger, better and way more fun dungeons including actuall bosses instead of just mini ganons.
    In my 100+ hours of playtime ive not once experienced a bug and glitch. sadly the game isnt as stable in the framerate: The already low 30fps drop decently frequently, though its not as bad as some people will make it seem. Besides, it is a miracle the genius devs managed to make the game run on the switch in the first place.
    dont let the (relatively) low user score fool you, a lot of the 5/10 reviews describe the game as 10/10
    (i guess they thought it was 5/5).
    For any switch users it is a must buy, for those who loved botw it will likely be the best game of all time. It took me over 60 hours to beat the game and 100% is looking like far over 300 hours.

The world is brimming with fun and exciting things to discover, every single side quest feels as though it had been hand crafted, characters acknowledging small things that you do, such as wearing specific sets of armour, make the world feel alive and the journey from leaving the GreatTears of the Kingdom took what Breath of the Wild established and absolutely blew it out of the water. The world is brimming with fun and exciting things to discover, every single side quest feels as though it had been hand crafted, characters acknowledging small things that you do, such as wearing specific sets of armour, make the world feel alive and the journey from leaving the Great Sky Island up to the final battle is one of the most engaging, exhilarating experiences I've had in a game. It took me 100 hours to complete every shrine, do all the side quests I felt I wanted to and take down the final boss and honestly, it felt like every minute spent in this iteration of Hyrule was time well spent.
    Bosses and Dungeons this time around, when compared to what was seen in Breath of the Wild, are also a significant improvement. While still not necessarily on par with the likes of what is seen in Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, the amount of creativity these new Dungeons allow for when traversing and the ways you have to engage with each boss differently still makes them a joy to overcome.

    En cuanto a la experiencia gráfica, creo que está igual que el anterior, pero a mi BOTW me parece muy muy bonito y es un diseño artístico que, si o si, hubiera dejado en una secuela. Simplemente es igual o tal vez mejor considerando los mapas del cielo y el subsuelo, y cada uno tiene sus diseños e iluminaciones distintas a las del mapa base. El rendimiento también es igual. Un rendimiento mediano, que a veces tiene sus carencias.

    Las mecánicas diferencian este juego del BOTW. Ambos juegos son muy parecidos (obviamente) pero se juegan distinto. Considero que éste juego es más difícil en su gameplay y así mismo, es mas amplio; cabe mencionar que hay ciertos elementos y mecánicas que extraño de BOTW, pero son cosas que me hacen recordar constantemente que estoy jugando otro juego y no otra vez BOTW con otro título en la portada.
    La historia desde un inicio tiene presencia. Si bien, reconozco y le adjudico un "Pero" al juego, por inconsistencias en la historia y haber recurrido a ciertas modalidades del juego anterior, tambien he de decir que la historia se siente que ocurre dentro del juego y no en el pasado como en BOTW, (que no es malo pero pudo ser mejor empleada).

    Nintendo recurrió a ciertas formas de contar la historia como lo hizo en el juego anterior, pero creo que acá supo emplearlas un poco mejor y hace que el argumento se sienta mejor contado. Te cuentan la historia de una forma mas tradicional y consistente en vez de solo cinemáticas puntuales y cinemáticas en formas de recuerdos (Por supuesto que hay cinemáticas como en el juego anterior pero son más largas, y también hay más escenas dentro del gameplay(sin voces). BOTW se caracterizó por contar la historia a través de recuerdos y los diarios de los personajes mas importantes, y este elemento permanece pero, personalmente, sentí como si el juego me contara la historia de una forma un poco más práctica y directa.

    No creo que la conclusión sea que TOTK es mejor que BOTW, realmente creo que es otra manera de jugar el zelda visto en BOTW.    … Expand

    Some people will complain about the 1080p 30fps with dipping situation but lets face the fact that this game running on switch is like a miracle considering they made seamless transition between sky ground and depths + they made loading screens shorter. And the framedrop situation isn't because developers are lazy but they are stuck with an old console. The scope of this game after 20 hours is ridiculous and I haven't even touched most of the map yet. 3 layers of worlds alongside caves, dungeons and secrets is massive. Cheers to the team at Nintendo and Monolith because this is a masterpiece. The map is totally changed from Botw and the story plays an integral role in showing that. Get a life you bums. This game is doing things the witcher, skyrim and cyberpunk could only dream of. The physics in this game are out of this world in regard to weather, chemicals and combat. This could have been game of the year for the last 6 years.… Expand

    An increible sequel to the 2017 Zelda game that not only matches the original one, it even surpasses it and takes the formula to a higher level. A must play for all of Zelda fans and switch owners

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
