    A graphic adventure of the new age.

    I've played a lot of games that purport to be Cyberpunk, and only a handful of them feel like a retro futuristic experience. Stray is one of them. A chill game, just enjoy it, solve some puzzles on the roof, run and don't let rot catch you. Small steps in a future to which we humans no longer belong. You are constantly invaded by melancholy    A graphic adventure of the new age.

    Interesting Story. Super fresh gameplay feel. You play as a cat and the cat movements are quite well done! Nice fun. Better than I expected from a smaller title like this.

    Amazing game. I have 2 cats, 1 of them love watching TV and the other one never watch TV at all, when I start playing this game, for the first time ever my cat who never watch TV start watching this game and she really love it.

    The game was great, atmosphere was amazing feels like one of those lofi steams when the cat sits downs and it zooms out, gameplay was smooth and fluid, story was amazing and had me invested loved the lore and wanted more, only downside would be how short the game is would love to see dlc that expands on the city

    Absolutely loved this game from start to finish. Was excited for Stray ever since the reveal and it exceeded my expectations by a lot. It’s a well rounded game with great visuals, great music, great environments, fun gameplay and a cute cat. Finished the game in 6 hours, but it could easily be 7-8 hours with the collectibles/memories i missed. Can’t wait to get back in and do an allAbsolutely loved this game from start to finish.     Ótimo jogo. Ele conquista pela simplicidade na gameplay, na riqueza de detalhes dos cenários com a direção de arte muito bem feita e na história que é muito bonita e bem desenvolvida e tem uma grande, e ao mesmo tempo sútil, crítica social. Poderia facilmente ser um episódio de Love, Death & Robots.

    I loved everything about Stray. Starting with the game and level design ending with the soundtrack. More than the rest, I liked the quest sections, which once again reminded me why I love old-fashion point-and-click quests, and quests in general.     I did cry in the end. Only 2 games made me cry Red Dead Redemion 2 and STRAY.
    In the rolling titles you can see the names of the cats that took a role in this game and 3 were RIP I did cry twice as hard. Awersome Story of a stay car, the best game I did play in a last years

    This game is short in time, it has many puzzles which you can solve in no time and as a cat, you can walk and meow, but the experience, the environment, the music, and the side quests are unique!     Loved it!! I cried at the end of the game. If you are a cat lover, this game will be one of the your favorites. You will feel so attached to the cat, I even named it. Gameplay is amazing, graphics are so good. Amazing details. It’s not so long so not boring at all. And it’s free!!! Majestic

    Stray is a relaxing game with an acceptable plot and impressive graphics. Despite being short, it's quite entertaining because of the multiple tasks you have to do to discover a pleasant ending.

I think the immersion of being a cat lost in a strange world filled with strange creatures trying to find a way back to your friends is really captivating. You aren’t a cat with superpowers or anything, which I thought was really cool. Sure the robot helps you communicate with the other creatures, but generally you move around like a cat, meow or scratch to get the attention of other creatures, and it just has this simple but heartwarming story of a cat trying to find his way home. You really become invested in the experience, I just can’t put it into words. Something about the game really tugs on your emotions. It’s just so expertly crafted that you feel a sense of investment into a minor character’s story after reading maybe 5 lines of dialogue. Then there are times where the game really makes you feel helpless as a cat, which further invests you into the story of this nameless little cat. The graphics are generally really good, the music and sound design is fantastic which really adds to the ambient experience.

    I absolutely loved this game, it didn’t set out to do anything groundbreaking, but it is a moving experience that is difficult to describe. The best way I can describe this game is that it has heart that few other games have, and it’s masterfully executed through simplicity.    … Expand

    I’m so glad and satisfied after playing this game for 5 hours. I’m enjoying every bit of it, so not rushing for now.

    Honestly such an incredible game! I wouldn’t call it easy nor difficult, right in the middle, but can give you a but of a challenge in some bits. The graphics are amazing! Such a unique experience! Haven’t finished it yet, half way, but can already tell you guys that this is a real masterpiece!

    PS. Just finished the game, I’m in tears, the ending…

    DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

    I almost never post reviews but I just finished Stray and feel compelled to yell from the rooftops about how good it is. I can safely say that Stray is the first game that left me feeling completely fulfilled so far this generation. It's that rare game that actually gets better and better as it goes along. Little details that start off as just cute cat stuff evolve into actual gameplay mechanics. Sure, simple ones, but it's cleverly done regardless. The world building is Miyazaki level good and you end up forming emotional attachments to the various buddies you meet along the way to the degree that there is genuine sadness when you say goodbye. I'm so sick of 100+ hour games that are good for 15 hours and then expect you to be engaged with their bug ridden mediocrity for another 75 for no reason other than to scratch some obsessive completionist itch. I took a slow and methodical approach to Stray, soaking in the world and trying to see everything, and I finished in less than 10 hours feeling satisfied and wanting more, rather than feeling resentful at it for being a time sink. This is straight up a 10/10 for me and I really hope the industry learns from it and we get more 10 hour games like it, with as much depth. I feel completely comfortable going so far as calling it a masterpiece.… Expand

    A beautiful little charmer set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia that I loved exploring as a cat. The puzzles and gentle platforming challenges (mostly involving racing) were fun, but mostly this game stood out to me for its aesthetic sensibilities, chill pacing, and affectionate portrayal of its unconventional heroes.

    It's literally one the games that you could call them "little diamonds" and when I see one, I start playing them from start to finish. I enjoyed it like I would enjoy a great little adventure with good friends. Too bad that it doesn't have a big replayability score (like side quests and more things to discover) but I am surely gonna play it again in the future.

    The story is very creative and unique. I love being a cat. You can tell the developers were cat lovers by the effort they put into giving the cat a unique character without necessary talking. I have never felt so terrible when my character dies than in this game - it’s devastating.

    Maravilloso, un apartado grafico espectacular con mucho mimo y cariño, la historia se deja llevar de manera fluida, lo jugue en Playstation gracias al plus y fue un acierto, lo comprare en fisico ya que es un juego que vale la pena tener para el futuro. A1 este juego me hizo querer a los gatos.

    Questo gioco ha una cura maniacale e un ottima grafica molto realistica nella direzione artistica eccellente. Ho concluso il gioco in una singola Run. Ha un racconto suo un modo di porsi con uno stile particolare. È stata una breve esperienza e all'avanguardia. Adoro il Gatto rosso protagonista. Merita Stray il Goty altro che Elden Ring.

    I could think of a hundred reasons why I enjoyed playing this game. However, when I try and think of a single flaw or a negative about this game, I simply fail.

    This game is utterly amazing. The controls, the atmosphere, the music. I honestly didn't expect this game to hit me so hard emotionally...Cats really do make great protagonists for platformers!!! Also, it doesn't show their b-hole. (Thank God!) XD

    this game was definitely worth the wait. i can’t see anything wrong with this game. maybe that it was a bit short but it was a perfect game nonetheless.

    it’s environments are beautiful and it’s level design is masterfully crafted. the characters are incredible and the gameplay is so much fun. also dedicated meow button

    C’est exactement ce que j’attendais de l’expérience Stray. Voir même mieux quand on se rend compte de son statut d’indé français. Le chat, le lore, l’ambiance, la musique, la durée de vie (non ce n’est pas trop court pour un papa gamer de 3 enfants!) l’ambition ou la narration. À part un mode photo, TOUT est là, tout est juste, tout est beau, respectable, parfois même bluffant (animationC’est exactement ce que j’attendais de l’expérience Stray. Voir même mieux quand on se rend compte de son statut d’indé français. Le chat, le lore, l’ambiance, la musique, la durée de vie (non ce n’est pas trop court pour un papa gamer de 3 enfants!) l’ambition ou la narration. Riesce ad immetterti in una città distopica completamente abitata da robot che, pur sembrando super intelligenti e senzienti ed emotivi, con un gatto randagio finito per caso in una vecchia città abbandonata in cui l'umanità è misteriosamente estinta. Forse è ripetitivo, ma a me è piaciuto un sacco! Voto diesci

    I love the original idea, controlling a cat for the parts that matter actually feel like controlling a cat and the mechanics are simple enough, this game really is for anyone. Not very long but from start to finish it’s well put together narratively and by level design. Art design is very cyber punk and unique and the game lore is pretty neat. Enjoy this one!

    The peaceful rhythm while the cat sleeps will hypnotize! The sound of claws touching metal and a series of sound effects are very immersive! ! This game is simply awesome~! !

    I enjoyed every second of this game. The controls were good, the story was amazing, the characters were amazing, the environments were amazing. There's very little bugs and if there is they're very minor and don't stop you from enjoying the game.

    I've been eagerly awaiting this game since the first trailer. Of course I bought and played it right on the release date. I wasn't disappointed! It has a dark atmosphere and is very detailed. Too bad it isn't that long but I still love it.

    If you are allergic to cats, hate mystery, exploration and a good atmosphere in video games, don’t play Stray. Otherwise, you’ve probably already beaten it. It’s a rare occasion to get a title such as this. And if it looks like something you might enjoy, that’s likely because you most surely would.

    Stray makes the most of its choice of protagonist early on, really allowing you to do all the things a typical cat would do, though it eventually loses sight of that in favour of spotlighting the short story. That’s no cause for hissing, though it does leave the overall experience feeling somewhat like two kittens from different litters forced together. The combination works better than it should, but we’re ultimately left wondering what could’ve resulted if either half of the game had been given enough space to stand alone. [Issue#18, p.70]

    It sounds ridiculous. And maybe it is. But the first ten minutes of Stray broke our heart. We’re a soft-boiled egg when it comes to animals, even when they're completely fictional. A cat who loses his friends and then gets hurt? Enough for an intense feeling of sadness and pity. It is not the challenge, but the experience that is key in this game. You really play Stray for the atmosphere. And that's exactly right.
