    I was as excited to see what the next steps on Cal’s journey as I was to see The Empire Strikes Back when I was a kid. The developer has done an excellent job of creating a main character and a supporting cast that I truly enjoy, short of a few of the hokie voices in Survivor. In Survivor, we are treated to a much bigger cast of allies, villains and creatures. The game world is muchI was as excited to see what the next steps on Cal’s journey as I was to see The Empire Strikes Back when I was a kid. The developer has done an excellent job of creating a main character and a supporting cast that I truly enjoy, short of a few of the hokie voices in Survivor. In Survivor, we are treated to a much bigger cast of allies, villains and creatures. The game world is much larger, much more alive and graphically beautiful and fits perfectly into Star Wars cannon. Honestly, this series is the best thing from the Star Wars universe since Return of the Jedi. Movement, traversal and combat are fluid. Enemies are varied. The story is compelling and the writing is solid. Cal begins where he left off in terms of abilities, getting stronger as he goes versus having to relearn and remaster abilities from Fallen Order. Everything is greatly improved from the first game. I’ve honestly been surprised just how much improved this game is over Fallen Order, the high quality textures, more open world, great choices in locations and just how beautiful the environments truly are.     Cant recommend this game. Frames drop, tons of glitches, performance mode looks awful and isnt stable. Such a shame cuz I loved the first game :/

    I'm on the 3rd planet now. The storyline for now is kinda ok. Old high Republic is something interesting. Gameplay wise everything is in order. Similar to previous franchise entry, but more. The huge problem is frame rate. I chose performance mode, but..... the graphics are actually extremely downgraded in that mode and the game still stutters sometimes (mostly in open locations) and I'mI'm on the 3rd planet now.     Such a shame that a company like EA is still not able to deliver a finished game from the start.

    I guess we all now have to wait for the patch that finally gives us the game we deserve.

    Merci EA d'avoir forcé la sortie du jeu... pour une aussi grande licence c'est une honte d'avoir un jeu aussi mal fini.
    Bref une cata, injouable sans patchs.

It's a shame because there are plenty of good elements in it, many gameplay mechanics have been improved compared to the first game. Alas, it suffers way too many technical issues for me to recommend it, the performance mode on PS5 is a joke filled with frame drops, screen tearing, and stutters.     Best SW game i have played. Great loacations, vast spaces, plenty of thing to do, story, all great. Some bugs yes, but this game doesnt deserve score lower than 8–10 ;)

    1. The game is extremely bad (not optimized) on powerful hardware, it's bad! The developers have essentially released a "beta version" of this game;
    2. This game does not have support Russian language (the main language of international communication), it's a SHAME at all!
    Until the developers fix the two main problems, the rating will be low!
    I do not advise you to buy this game.

    - Performance on PS5 is close to unplayable, base FPS being around 50 in performance mode and constantly dropping below 40.
    - The level design is abysmal, puzzles and platforming sections are awkward and have no consistency, it's like they were all made by different people who never talked to each other.
    - Combat isn't any better - inconsistent hitboxes, weird hit registration - makes    - Performance on PS5 is close to unplayable, base FPS being around 50 in performance mode and constantly dropping below 40.

    Really good story, best star wars game to date. Great combat. Its the performance that lacks. I haven't many problems myself but what I've heard this game should've really had some more time in the oven.

Therefore, all involved are completely aware of the state it's in and have no problem charging the unsuspecting public £69.99 for a product that doesn't work and employs substandard previous gen graphics, worse is that Sony PlayStation has become one of the worst companies in the world for customer service, true to form their chat bot won’t connect to an agent and nobody replies when e-mails are sent to CS., also no tele number they can be contacted on. This means requesting a refund is an absolute nightmare. I can forgive development issues, but can’t and won’t forgive PlayStation’s lack of customer care, support and their agenda driven politics. This product shouldn’t have gone to market in its current state and they make it impossible to request refunds. Think it's time to ditch PlayStation and focus on Steam and Xbox. So far this month Sony has effectively stolen £89.99 from me, I also purchased horizon burning shores which is astonishingly bad and typical of their agenda, but at least Jedi Survivor will become one of the best games of all time providing they can fix its problems on each platform.… Expand

The game has ran just fine for me and I'm about 12 hours into the game at this point. It's fantastic!     This game is nothing short of fantastic. From the gameplay to the story, Respawn have further expanded upon Cal's journey and made it incredibly more captivating. Every character introduced served a meaningful purpose and added great value to the overall journey. As for the vibe, it truly encapsulates the feeling of a story set in the Star Wars universe with gameplay similar to that of GodThis game is nothing short of fantastic. From the gameplay to the story, Respawn have further expanded upon Cal's journey and made it incredibly more captivating. Every character introduced served a meaningful purpose and added great value to the overall journey. As for the vibe, it truly encapsulates the feeling of a story set in the Star Wars universe with gameplay similar to that of God of War. The introduction of the Bedlam Raiders adds another set of interesting enemy types that keeps things fresh from that on Fallen Order.

    I did experience some performance issues in the first few hours of the game, took away from the immersion at times. However after turning off usage sharing, the FPS improved and the game played better. There were still dips here and there but nothing too crazy.

    TLDR: It's an amazing game with a great story and great combat. It does however have performance issues. If you do not care that much about perfect performance, buy the game, if not, hold off a few weeks until they fix it.    … Expand

    The PS5 version is completely borked. HDR is completely broken. Colors look like they are in the wrong color space. Framerates drop all the time on both quality and performance modes. There is stuttering happening every 20 seconds. I've experienced nearly a dozen crashes and I've tried everything from rebuilding the database to uninstalling other software. Nothing helps. Textures flashing or blurred. This game should 't have been released as it is right now. 4 point because otherwise i like the story so far.

The gameplay is fun and there is a lot of nuance to the fighting once you get the hang of it. The controls are somewhat intuitive, though could use some fine-tuning.     I played the game on ps5 in performance mode. And I loved the game, I understand that there are big performance issues like crashes and screen tearing. But at least for me, it didn't happen as much and it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. I have faith that the team will fix this for everyone to enjoy.

    I cannot play this game from disc without internet connection. Why they sell game on disc when download is required? If I wanted to download the game, I would buy the digital version, not the physical. Shame on you EA!!!!! They should wait 2 months, and finish the game and afrer that make version on two BR discs if that many data is required.

    Without considering the performance issues of the game, I can say this is a worthy sequel at least in gameplay, if You played Jedi Fallen Order You will find a pretty similar game in Jedi Survivor.
    So similar It is, that the first part of the game is almost a copypasta of the previous but the second half is a masterpiece, is one of the best things I've seen of Starwars in a while.
    Sadly, due to the bad state of the game in PC or in certain consoles as I've read, I can't give a better qualification to It

There are significant frame drops during cutscenes. This game crashed twice.

    The story is terrible. The dialogue is cringeworthy and so are the running animations. The gameplay is boring and repetitive. The physics are beyond horrible. The platforming is a joke. I tried jumping onto different platforms, only to be met with invisible walls and fall to my death. I shouldn't have to fail levels due to poor and lazy level design. Well at least you can fail the platforming sections, unlike the poorly designed arty-farty pieces of garbage that were the last two God of War games. Despite being a $70 next-gen only title, nothing in this game screams next-gen. The boss fights are terrible. The lightsaber customization is worthless. Why would I care about customizing a stupid stick piece by piece? The lack of a first person mode makes it even more pointless. How about these developers spend their time actually fixing their game instead of wasting resources on gimmicky features.

    As I mentioned earlier, there's no multiplayer. So once you beat the story, there is literally not a reason to play this game again. Charging $70 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. Let me put this in perspective. EA Battlefront 2 had a campaign, online and local multiplayer, first person mode, starships, and better graphics (that's embarrassing) for $60. This game only has the campaign for $70. Sure BF2 campaign was shorter, but at least it doesn't require internet, not to mention that I didn't have to sit through hours of boring puzzles. We all know EA is greedy, but this just proves how greedy and lazy Respawn are. $70 for half of the freaking game. I don't recommend this game at all.    … Expand

The game concept it self it's much better than the first game, gameplay and story as well, but that means absolutely nothing when it is nearly impossible to play the game with solid 60. This is the first time in my life I feel genuinely scammed for pre ordering a game. The game itself is good, but the performance just ruins it completely. If you are thinking of buying this, wait until they have made enough patches to adequately fix the performance.

I wouldnt care so much but it so frustrating that a good game is ruined by a bad performance. Its also more than an average linear game and you can explore but on 30 fps the exploration is hard, you barely see where you are going.     Game would be an 8.5-9 out of 10 but the performance issues are killing the experience. Jedi Survivor simply wasn't ready for release and it's downright unethical to charge $70+ and release in this state. Worst performing game on PS5 I've played and it's not close. Such a shame too because it's a great game otherwise.

I did have some issues regarding HDR where it made the entire image almost completely black, but this was since rectified using the adjust HDR in the PS5 settings menu. The game is now beautiful and some of the best HDR I’ve ever seen.     We all already know that new games are full with bugs and need patches, but this game isn't even finished.
    IMO it shouldn't even be legal to release games before they work properly.

    However If the game performed as it should I would give it around 8/10, its a solid game, but its not a masterpiece. There are other games in this genre which is better than this game.
    But if you a Star wars fan then this is probably their best one yet.
    "Only" problem is that its seems to still be in developing stage, so if you want to enjoy this experience you should clearly wait until they deliver a complete and fully working version of the game.

    EA games should be really ashamed and I will never buy a new game from them again before checking with USER CRITICS, because its obvious that we cant trust these paid critics.

    It's called "Sponsored Content" or "Native Advertising". So it's nothing new that big companies like EA are paying the media and content creators for positive reviews.

    Its simply not acceptable to pay full price for unfinished games. There should be no argue about that. They will keep doing this as long as they make money of it. Pre ordering and buying unpolished games only enhances this problem.

    They made a conscious decision and CHOSE to release the game in this state.
    Under no circumstances such behavior should be accepted.

    Wasn’t there an article where they (Respawn, EA) celebrated how quickly they developed and released this game? Well, the results speak for themselves..

    unfortunately I believe we will see many more games be released like this in the future. As long as they make money from doing it they will keep doing it.

I am 6 hours in and the eye candy of this game is something to witness. At one point I thought : Do I need to upgrade my TV for this game!" LOL.     Keine Ahnung wie das Spiel eine Durchschnittswertung von aktuell 86 erhalten konnte.

    Die Performance ist schon fast Alphastatus Niveau. Wie man die Entscheidung treffen kann, es so auf dem Markt zu veröffentlichen ist mir schleierhaft und eine Frechheit.

    Das Spiel hätte Top werden können. Vielleicht ist es das, in einigen Monaten.

    Terrible PS5 performance. Lots of screen tearing, bugs everywhere. It's a shame that EA/Disney keep releasing sub-standard products for the Star Wars franchise.

    Absolutely DREADFUL release on ps5 performance mode. Frame drops, screen tearing and crashes and bugs. How can EA and Respawn think it was a good idea to release it at this state? Very disappointing since I liked the first game.

    Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a much bigger game than before, with plenty of new moves, collectibles and characters to discover. The size of its open-world maps means it also lacks some of the variety of its predecessor, but there is so much to see and do that you'll likely not care one jot. Perhaps the most impressive aspect is how well fleshed-out the adventure is - better even than many of the TV series and films on which it is based. This is a blockbuster in the truest sense.
