    Outstanding. About 20 hours in and I haven’t experienced any of the problems I’ve seen in the review bombs listed here. Frame rate is great. No graphics issues at all. The worlds are gorgeous and feel less linear from the outset when you start a new world. Size wise the levels feel massive compared to the original.     Game did not nearly run as bad as people claim it to on quality mode. The game itself is beautiful. Not only in terms of the way it looks but the way it is delivered. The characters are spot on. Clearly having grown since the last game yet still reminding us of how far they have come. I love this game.     Edit: I just learned that the physical disc copy doesn't have the entire game on. So my nephew who doesn't currently have net access can't even install this single player game! Which we spent 70£ on! OMG this is disgusting and may be even criminal. So I've changed the score to 0 as a sham scam product :Edit.

    So I'm a big fan of the franchise, the dev and the first game. And if you love starwars then JS has lots of good aspects from gameplay to graphics to sound. But right now on ps5...It's a mess :(

    In a galaxy far far away one day soon JS might be an 8 or 9... as it's as good as the original. But on ps5 (and pc) despite the publisher and co lies, blame and mis information...There is a large cross section of players / payers who have a broken game. Myself included.

    "Broken" and more accurately unfinished. Poor performance and more importantly an inconsistent frame rate which stutters in performance mode. With audio desyncing And cutscenes all over the place. Plus some hard crashes and broken quests. And ofcourse this all effects gameplay and storytelling...which is really good ...when it works...

    And if you're not having any issues and have a magical 60fps 4k version...then it doesn't mean others payers do too.
    And a simple Google video will provide 100s of legit issues by upset players...fans just like you.

    The above issues have Not been fixed by the mandatory day 1 patch. And all those physical media players who paid 100£€$ but don't have net access or room on their tiny ssd ...have bought a permanently broken mess! And I believe how full your ssd drive is effects this game or it did for me. But a 150gig with large patches means my 500gig free of a 800 gig ssd leaves me with few options. But no one seems to care about this.

    So imo there is no excuse on consoles for these issue... beyond the game was rushed out early. And we know that's a fact as ea released a pre-release statement acknowledging above issues etc.

    So this negative review is justified. All of this junk effects a review score. And yes the game crashes once a day to ps hub so and I've lost progress too. That isn't ok either. I refuse to encourage EA and co to keep treating customers in this anti consumer way. I will amend score as game technical issues improves.    … Expand

    This game is good. Don't waste your time on forspoken, redfall, or other half baked game. You will have a great time playing this. The star wars jedi video game series is by far the best star wars to come our since Disney bought it.

    I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I really love fallen order. EA's act of canceling Russian localization just infuriates me. hypocrites / я огромный фанат звездных войн и очень люблю fallen order. поступок ЕА об отмене русской локализации меня просто приводит в ярость. лицемеры

    Let’s just pretend the performance issues and bugs don’t exist. IMO this is the best Star Wars game to exists. Truly an amazing game! Combat is so fluid with its 5 stances to choose from, increased enemy variety, boss fights, graphics and improved brutality when it comes to slicing libs off enemies. I’m not yet done with the main story but I’ve got about 12-20 hours into the game and I’mLet’s just pretend the performance issues and bugs don’t exist. IMO this is the best Star Wars game to exists. Truly an amazing game! Combat is so fluid with its 5 stances to choose from, increased enemy variety, boss fights, graphics and improved brutality when it comes to slicing libs off enemies. I’m not yet done with the main story but I’ve got about 12-20 hours into the game and I’m pretty confident that it’ll be good. Overall, amazing Star Wars title and GOTY contender. I have a 4k 120hz tv where Burning Shores looks like the best graphics I have ever seen on PS5, while Survivor can't even consistently hit 60fps and looks like a bad PS3 or PS4 game. Why even release a physical copy if it's not really a full copy of the game? I feel lied to by EA and by reviewers that I'm assuming EA bought. This game wasn't ready for release period. If this was a 20 dollar game maybe it would be worth it. But 70 bucks, for this? I would return it if I could.     I have to say that despite all controversy and performance issues on PC and Xbox I haven’t experienced anything like that on my PS5. Game is running well and I’m enjoying the story and gameplay. I want more StarWars games like that. I really hope that they will fix the issues for other players and keep this series alive.

I’m playing on VRR display - so far I haven’t noticed any issues on quality with motion blur off, everything plays great except some frame drops, but that literally happens in every cross platform game with Ray Tracing on.As a Star Wars fan, I’d really like to say thank you to those people who keep the series alive by making such amazing games. Top AAA project, fully immersing experience.     The game is a mess in PC, it's unplayable. I could let slide the poor performance, but I got to a point in the game when the constant crashing don't let me keep through.

    The PS5 version is broken.
    Framerates drop all the time.
    There is stuttering happening every 20 seconds.
    This is a 100% broken release.

    This is quite possibly the best single player Star Wars of all time. Combat is so satisfying and the puzzles are great. Tied in with the great story makes this a home run.

    Respawn Entertainment managed to create the equivalent arkham City sequel from their Fallen Order. Like the best of Star Wars it shines with western elements in it’s story while improving in it’s gameplay. The only thing lacking is a bit more of polish in it’s combat mechanics.

Getting 30 fps in Performance mode on a next gen console, with constant stuttering and drops even below that. Textures taking forever to load. My eyes actually hurt from how muddy everything looks.     Performance is terrible even with my RTX4090. Serious frame drops here and there on the 1st and 2nd planet, followed by repeated crashes now on the 3rd planet halting any further progression. This game is not ready.

    The gameplay and mechanics are great and fun. However, the game has clear problems: again and again the image stops for a few milliseconds and the frame rate constantly decreases (in quality mode and in performance mode). The game may have some optimization bug, but once I've played it, I think that leaving aside the possible bugs that I found, it tells a very good story. They have been able to continue the story of the previous game very well, the combat feels very successful and graphically it is very good. I like that they left an open ending for a possible third game in the future.… Expand

    Great game. Great story. Great graphics. The combat is better than Fallen Order, but it could be improved, it feels weak if you are a sekiro-soulsbourne fan, mainly because attacks have long animations that cannot be interrupted by defensive mechanics. So many times when you see that you are going to take damage from an enemy attack, you can just sit back and watch.

    This would likely be a fun game that is close to being ruined by poor performance, bugs and, at times, unacceptable visual fidelity that leaves characters and scenery looking washed out and blurry (confirmed below 720P!). Not in the same the level of infamy as Cyberpunk at launch, but a very poor technical state currently. Hopefully, EA will address some of this via future patches.

The HDR is broken, colors are off, and frame rates keep dropping, causing unbearable stuttering every few seconds. I've even experienced numerous crashes, and nothing seems to fix it. The graphical quality is a blurry mess, making it impossible to enjoy the game's otherwiseI can't believe I spent my hard-earned money on Jedi Survivor for PS5, only to be faced with a disaster of a game.     Gorgeous, rewarding, and fun. This game makes me excited for the Star Wars franchise again. Any technical hiccups truly don’t hinder the gameplay experience. It’s very impressive!

Like I said on Twitter, if Respawn could have gotten this game out the door on par with steady frames, it would have gotten 10’s across the board, but because of the poor frames rates I had to take some points off. Story wise, the best Star Wars written to date, there are three truly epic moments in this game, one that we never truly seen happen on screen with making a Kyber crystal bleed and another is embracing the dark side. I know I said three but I can’t spoil everything in the game. A must own for the PS5 and hopefully they’ll patch it up soon because I want to play through this again in a better state.… Expand

    Stop being Crybabies people! Yes the performance mode isn't great but stop acting like it's "unplayable" I'm playing on the Graphics mode and haven't had any issues with it. The game looks pretty and is really fun to play. So far I haven't had any glitches or game breaking bugs.

    Great game ! It’s so addictive I have been playing it non stop. I have not had any issues on the ps5 . It’s been running smooth as butter and the graphics are amazing. I have this game a 10/10 , a masterpiece you’ll truly love if you’re a Star Wars fan.

    Sure it’s got a few bugs but get over it! This game is incredible! Everything is bigger , better and definitely a contender for game of the year ! If you’re a Star Wars fan buy it now , if not buy it anyway because it is a really unique rpg that tells a great story , great customisation and overall its very addictive!

    Absolutely loving this game! Beautiful graphics, great movement and fighting mechanics, awesome music, detailed world building, good story. I feel like I’m personally transported into the world of Star Wars when playing. I haven’t had problems with performance issues. I didn’t like Fallen Order cause it was annoyingly grindy and clunky to me. Whereas Jedi Survivor has been super fun to play!

    6 hours in and just one random crash so far.
    Great story and the fighting mechanics really evolved compared to part 1.

    Shame on EA for charging people money for this unfinished game. Beta testers shouldn't have to pay $90. I couldn't get beyond the launch screen when I tried to play this game. Maybe I will try again in a few months when they have actually finished developing the game, but probably not.

    I will be so happy to play the rest of this game when it's actually possible to do so...as of this writing, that is not possible on my PS5. The screen tearing, texture pop-in, flickering, visual auras, and other graphics glitches give me too much eyestrain to play for longer than a few minutes at a time. It's unfortunate that this is the state the game was released in, given its focus onI will be so happy to play the rest of this game when it's actually possible to do so...as of this writing, that is not possible on my PS5.     Jedi survivor took everything from fallen order and made it 10 times better while also fixing the flaws. It works great on my ps5 and haven't had any issues so far. The game is currently in my top 5 of best games of the year!

    And if you think those are outlandish comparisons, I assure you they're not: forced vertical climbing sections, crevices to hide loading screens, starting with a familiar weapon then getting another after a mid-game conflict, annoying companions, bizarre shifts to semi-linear open worlds, skill trees with infinitesimal upgrades, a semi-autonomous grappling hook bound to L2, and so on and so forth.

    While Survivor certainly executes some of these tropes better than its peers, the game still feels so copy/paste and soulless, so inoffensive that casual players and Star Wars fans alike will find almost no issues. I think this is partially exemplified through just how easy it is; my first combat-related death came almost 8 hours in, well towards the end of the second world (on Jedi Master difficulty).

    Not only is combat easy, but the world is easy as well. Traversal has minimal stakes as Cal will automatically mantle ledges, BD-1 will alert you to shortcuts and other POIs. The Ubisoft bloat is also felt, as there are now side quests and plenty of annoying little ledges and cliffs to scale for character customization options.

    While you can customize Cal's appearance, you can't change his personality. The Marvel/YA novel quips quickly grew old for me, despite a great performance from Cameron Monaghan.

    For the sake of sounding overly-negative, there is a lot I like about this game. The multitude of customization options really make you feel like you're Cal, something the last game didn't do a great job of. The game also gives you an almost overwhelming amount of Lightsaber options which were very welcome.

    While the game runs like a pile of **** in performance mode, I think the general set pieces were very well-constructed. Coruscant especially felt alive and was really fun to look at, even if the linear traversal dulled the otherwise solid introduction. Similarly, the attention to detail within the enemy types (and their out-of-combat interactions with each other) were a nice addition.

    There is something about AAA studios and sequels to their third person action games that just never quite clicks. The word I'm looking for here is "boring." These games are all the same, all made to appeal to the lowest common denominator. They are lightning-in-a-bottle tech demos that, ironically, barely work on release and are quickly rendered obsolete by the next samey game in the genre.

    Yet, Survivor has a lot of charm, mainly because of the Star Wars franchise. I loved the beeps and boops from the droids, the buzz of the lightsabers, and the music that littered my journey across the galaxy. It was fun (well, it wasn't, but maybe for completionists) to gather friends at Greez's bar and check in every few hours.

    Still, I'd rather a game take a big swing and miss than never step to the plate at all. While I understand the praise for Survivor, I do not agree that it's the next great thing. Not even close.    … Expand

    This game runs absolutely terribly in performance mode. I'm assuming quality mode does as well but I didnt buy the game to play it in 30 fps. I just cant deal with all the frame issues and screen tearing. This will be the first game I ever request a refund for and honestly Sony should pull it from their store.

Dies machen die obengenannten Aspekte meiner Meinung nach wett, dennoch sollte man sich dieser Probleme bewusst sein.

    Love it, I love the story the gameplay the graphics. Runs smooth on my Ps5 no problems. If you’re not a Star Wars fan still buy it. I’m not a big Star Wars fan and I love it I loved the first and this one is better. So go buy it don’t listen to people that have old gen consoles that can’t run Tetris @4k 60fps lol

    Nices Spiel und hatte in mehr als 6 Stunden keine Probleme mit lags, frame rate Einbrüchen, der Graphik oder Sonst was der lichtschwert Kampf ist super und fühlt sich gut an die Story ist auch sehr interessant.

    I own this game on PC I have a Ryzen 9 5900 with a 3080ti 32 gigs of ram Windows 11. I have epic setting with raytrace on. I had 3 issues with this game it crashed twice on me and once I fell through the floor I died and respawned. I also didn't purchase on steam, I went through the EA app on windows.

But unfortunately EA just abandoned the Russian-speaking players. The Playstation does not support mods and therefore, unlike the PC, there is no way to fix this.     The PS5 version is a hot mess. The performance mode is broken the 30fps runs well enough but the graphics on both modes are held back buy digital reconstruction that looks really fuzzy at times. If you can play at 30fps then there aren't to many issues.

Then at the end of launch day the development team issues a public apology....I mean a ridiculous excuse that addressed 1/3 of the paying consumers.     Wait for sale on this one. Game runs like **** Stop giving companies your money for broken garbage. 20 fps on performance mode and ****ty screen splitting. Audio issues with main story lines.

    DO NOT BUY..this game is broken & by the time it’s patched up it’ll be 40 bucks..other than the horrible performance game is just average at best..HORRIBLE animations..game needed another year

    The game is pretty good in theory other than being extremely poorly coded. I understand the PS5 version is running better than other systems but even so there's a lot of screen tearing and generally dodgyness. It will remind you of gaming on a PS3 as most games there had similar issues. If you ware a person who's generally oblivious to poorly made things you wont care.     The game is a good upgrade from the first, but it still feels way too linear. Exploring still feels like a chore and the fast travel system is pretty bad. As much as I like the graphics and lightsaber combat, the game itself lacks any real direction. Decent plot, but it's ruined by the constant fetch quests and linear storyline. 6/10.

    Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a much bigger game than before, with plenty of new moves, collectibles and characters to discover. The size of its open-world maps means it also lacks some of the variety of its predecessor, but there is so much to see and do that you'll likely not care one jot. Perhaps the most impressive aspect is how well fleshed-out the adventure is - better even than many of the TV series and films on which it is based. This is a blockbuster in the truest sense.
