    I don't know what people are talking about but this game is freakin epic!!!! They will fix the glitches and all the other things people are saying but WOW....this is just insane. I am 6 hours in and the eye candy of this game is something to witness. At one point I thought : Do I need to upgrade my TV for this game!" LOL. Play it or wait for the patch but I am enjoying the sheer fact thatI don't know what people are talking about but this game is freakin epic!!!!     The game is very fun. I mostly appreciate that they started you out with the abilities you had to work through the previous game to get. The combat is improved from last game and I appreciated the new addition of lightsaber forms. Overall, highly recommend.

    this is the best Star Wars game ive played since the KOTOR games the customisation and story is so fun and interesting i don't know how anyone can give a score lower than 10 i never had any problems with this game and i think this game is fantastic adventure.

    About 12 hours in and truly loving it. Combat is very fun, just challenging enough and the enemy types are tremendously varied. The set pieces are incredible and the environmental puzzles combined with Star Wars wall running/jumping/climbing etc is quite fun. No serious bugs yet in my ps5 play through. Frame rate issues and screen tearing for sure but not enough to really detract from myAbout 12 hours in and truly loving it. Combat is very fun, just challenging enough and the enemy types are tremendously varied.     A very enjoyable star wars experience. It takes the semi open world concept with hints of old school prince of persia, uncharted, and even dark souls elements all wrapped up in an epic star wars story.

    A really good game!
    It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s still really good.
    I’ve played both games in the Jedi series and I think this is my favorite. The gameplay and combat is much better, though the story is nothing super special, I still really enjoyed it. I personally never experienced many performance issues, a couple, but not more than you would expect from a brand new game. I    A really good game!

    Jedi: Fallen Order was an amazing experience as a Star Wars fan. The sequel expanded upon and provided a more polished and impressive experience. While I believe the first game had a superior story, Survivor includes the High Republic and I’ve been waiting years for the lore of that era to start being included in projects other than comics and novels.     It's good, but... Dude the game is stuttery as heck. This is the first game I immediately saw screen tearing on, on an end to end Compatible setup. I'm confused, why can't we sue, for being sold a defective product? So I really need to engage local government to make sure publishers are held responsible? Think about it, what $70 product can you buy...broken? Edit: let's put it this way,It's good, but... Dude the game is stuttery as heck. When prompts don't trigger when they should or if you're constantly trying to determine if you're In a bug or not, no dude... Not for $70. Again, there's got to be a way to just class action publishers for this. There's nothing like furting the bottom line that wakes investors up.

    For a little flavor, the game is a little bit god of war, titanfall 2, and horizon...I actually like the game TBH, which is why I'm updating this a second time, but still...that doesn't excuse the poor runtime experience. As I said before, I keep ending up in situation(environmental puzzles) where I cant tell if its a bug or a feature.

    After finishing the story I'm upgrading the score from 4 to 8 due to how many time I sat back and said, man this is a good game. Further, ps5 is serviceable, it was distracting at first impression but the game was so good, I soon forgot/ignored the performance.    … Expand

    En un principio le anoté un 4.0, sin embargo el juego lo ajustaron y realmente es un super juego, lo recomiendo mucho para quienes disfrutan de un buen combate e historia. Le dejo una calificación de 9 porque esperaba un Unreal Engine 5 debido a que salió para PS5, para futuras entregas mejorar motor gráfico.     This game is probably a 8-9/10 but I’m giving it a 10 for the people who forgot to change their reviews after Respawn fixed the horrible performance issues. It now runs a stable frame rate on performance or fidelity mode

    Came back to change the score. Even thought the performance is still bad, I had to say that it is a great game, too shame that it came out in this state and two weeks after the release the performance issues are still not fixed.

    This is quite possibly the best single player Star Wars of all time. Combat is so satisfying and the puzzles are great. Tied in with the great story makes this a home run.

    I really don’t know what’s going on in these reviews but I made an account just to voice my experience. I am on ps5 and have had ZERO performance issues. Game is running great and looks great. The platform if and puzzle elements are fun and not annoying even though they’re pretty plentiful. I love the combat, only issue with the combat is a lot of lightsaber abilities that seem like theyI really don’t know what’s going on in these reviews but I made an account just to voice my experience.     The game is really fun. Definitive upgrade from fallen order. If you like Star Wars or the last game you will definitely like this. Some framerate issues but after the latest patch it runs fine. Some drops occasionally, but very mutch playable.
    Absolute must buy!

It also presents a more mature and powerful story - one that manages to subvert common tropes within the Star Wars universe, and injects its    (Real rating: *8.5/10)

    Survivor manages to trump its prequel, Fallen Order, by adding content in a truly additive fashion. It also presents a more mature and powerful story - one that manages to subvert common tropes within the Star Wars universe, and injects its messages into its gameplay in ways that are both powerful and inventive. This story is also carried by solid acting and extremely well-animated cutscenes.

    Sadly, Survivor does have some issues with performance - while not nearly as abysmal as I have heard the game's performance on PC is, there were some issues on PS5 with stuttering, lengthy framerate drops, mistimed lip-sync outside of cutscenes, and three crashes to the home screen within a single area. These issues did not ruin my experience by any means, but they did leave an impression.

    Overall, Jedi: Survivor is an excellent follow-up to Fallen Order, which is solid in its own right, and I would argue it even manages to surpass it. I urge anyone who feels wary about purchasing it (based on criticisms of its performance) to be cautiously optimistic, as I believe there is more than enough good here to encourage players to look past some choppiness in its performance.    … Expand

    I consider Jedi: Fallen Order to be amongst the best games that I’ve ever played. So, I was extremely excited to see everything new that this game had to offer and it didn’t disappoint. Many things have been added or expanded upon from its predecessor and are mostly worthwhile additions. It adds more enemies and abilities, a huge main world to explore, side quests (rumors), challenges, anI consider Jedi: Fallen Order to be amongst the best games that I’ve ever played. So, I was extremely excited to see everything new that this game had to offer and it didn’t disappoint. Many things have been added or expanded upon from its predecessor and are mostly worthwhile additions. It adds more enemies and abilities, a huge main world to explore, side quests (rumors), challenges, an immensely fun mini game, and more. Holotactics is now one of my favorite mini games ever. You also get an outpost to interact with and recruit intriguing NPCs to. This game also has one of the coolest action sequences that I’ve ever played through (when you escape the Pilgrim Sanctuary with Merrin).

    This game has some flaws though. First, the beginning of the plot feels like happenstance, more so than I can recall in any other game. No spoilers, but is Cal the luckiest Jedi in the galaxy? Also, the villain’s motives seem naive and are not fleshed out enough. Second, you obtain some gadgets very late in the story, which slightly discourages exploration, even after 25+ hours. Last, sometimes the controls are unresponsive and there are minor glitches that caused me to restart the game (R1 button not working, couldn’t change stance, or couldn’t cycle targets.)

    Combat in this game was slightly frustrating too. I played on Jedi Master (Hard mode) difficulty, for context. The ranged enemies are irritating. Whether, attacking them or deflecting their shots back at them, they are highly evasive. The targeting controls are messy, so when targeting someone, if I get attacked, the game will switch targets. There was also one instance where I had an enemy trapped in a corner and he dodged all of my attacks, despite my lightsaber clipping through his body. Finally, some mini bosses have one hit kill attacks (not present in Fallen Order), which adds another level of frustration.

    I personally enjoyed Jedi: Fallen Order slightly more. I found it to be simpler and better paced. The vast amount of combat options in this game is frankly overwhelming and unnecessary. And, maybe the story could have been told better. Regardless, this is an amazing sequel that I still highly recommend. The plot gets pretty dark towards the end and I can’t wait to see the payoff in another entry. - 8.5    … Expand

As you progress in abilities more areas open up, even on worlds you've previously visited - so there's some reason to revisit "completed" worlds. Overall it was just a good fun game. Not a 10/10, but 8 seems reasonable (if I was forced to go over/under 8 it'd probably be slightly under).

    I can't speak to the performance issues others seemed to have. I bought this upon release on a PS5 and didn't have any noticeable issues. Some gamers have trouble with games under 60fps; I prefer 60fps but I can enjoy a game perfectly well at 30fps. YMMV here.

    The level of difficulty is a bit uneven. While I beat the final boss the first try on "normal" (Jedi Knight) difficulty, certain bosses took dozens of tries. One I even had to give up on and lower the difficulty to get past. Maybe I just need to "git gud", but it just seemed out of sync with the rest of the game.

    If you prefer bigger open worlds and exploration, this teases that a bit but I certainly wouldn't buy it for that; the story and game are mostly linear. There is opportunity to explore each area after, but basically you're just hunting down collectibles. It's satisfying enough if you like that sort of thing.    … Expand

    I don't care about the performance issues because nothing made the game a bad experience for me. It was beautiful, well written, and was extremely fun to play. Everything that was wrong with fallen order was changed to my liking.

    A cool, exciting adventure. Great staging, and exciting gameplay. The only game that brought back my passion for gaming and didn't make me want to get up and leave after 30 minutes to do something else.

    The combat and general gaemplay, stance variety, story, and character quality levels up in pretty much every way from the first game. The customization is really nice and adds a personalization the story that is really nice. The optimization is not as good as it should be and the game definitely needed a bit more time , but I personally did not experrience    Highly recommend this game.

Combat is so fluid with its 5 stances to choose from, increased enemy variety, boss fights, graphics and improved brutality when it comes to slicing libs off enemies.     Sure it’s got a few bugs but get over it! This game is incredible! Everything is bigger , better and definitely a contender for game of the year ! If you’re a Star Wars fan buy it now , if not buy it anyway because it is a really unique rpg that tells a great story , great customisation and overall its very addictive!

    6 hours in and just one random crash so far.
    Great story and the fighting mechanics really evolved compared to part 1.
    Graphics and ambience are top tier for me!

    Stop being Crybabies people! Yes the performance mode isn't great but stop acting like it's "unplayable" I'm playing on the Graphics mode and haven't had any issues with it. The game looks pretty and is really fun to play. So far I haven't had any glitches or game breaking bugs.

I did have some issues regarding HDR where it made the entire image almost completely black, but this was since rectified using the adjust HDR in the PS5 settings menu. The game is now beautiful and some of the best HDR I’ve ever seen. Such a great game, and it's a shame that it's been marred with controversy for poor performance on PC and some report even on consoles. I hope they are able to get the proper patches out quick enough to turn it around. Point is, they should never have put out a game that wasn't ready. Sure, I'm glad I got my hands on it when I did, but I would rather them have delayed it another few weeks or months to get the game fully ready for everyone. I want to see more Star Wars games like this series from Respawn. I just hope this launch doesn't kill their future chances to put out more amazing games like Jedi Survivor.… Expand

    An absolutely wonderful game with fantastic gameplay, characters, story, and visuals.

The developer has done an excellent job of creating a main character and a supporting cast that I truly enjoy, short of a few of the hokie voices in Survivor. In Survivor, we are treated to a much bigger cast of allies, villains and creatures. The game world is muchI was as excited to see what the next steps on Cal’s journey as I was to see The Empire Strikes Back when I was a kid. The developer has done an excellent job of creating a main character and a supporting cast that I truly enjoy, short of a few of the hokie voices in Survivor. In Survivor, we are treated to a much bigger cast of allies, villains and creatures. The game world is much larger, much more alive and graphically beautiful and fits perfectly into Star Wars cannon. Honestly, this series is the best thing from the Star Wars universe since Return of the Jedi. Movement, traversal and combat are fluid. Enemies are varied. The story is compelling and the writing is solid. Cal begins where he left off in terms of abilities, getting stronger as he goes versus having to relearn and remaster abilities from Fallen Order. Everything is greatly improved from the first game. I’ve honestly been surprised just how much improved this game is over Fallen Order, the high quality textures, more open world, great choices in locations and just how beautiful the environments truly are.     Huge improvement over the first game. Wish there were more planets to explore, but the combat is fun and story is alright. You can always count on Star Wars fans to be the absolute worst on the internet, hence all the review bombs.

The gameplay in Fallen Order was repetitive and lacked imagination. Jedi Survivor took all that was wrong with the first game and improved and expanded on it in every direction.     I'm playing on PS5, it's really fun. Haven't notice a lot of the problems people have mentioned here. It is a big download even from disk, and it resets you back to the main menu when there's an update when you come back from standby which is annoying.

    It would easily be 10 stars if my game didn't crash on Xbox at least once when I boot it up. Frame rates drop every so often even on Performance Mode, but still love the gameplay and the graphics. Story they could of done so much more but I really enjoy this franchise and would love to see more of it!

    Bigger better version of Fallen Order with Cal becoming a more powerful Jedi. Same gameplay but on a larger scale and more of everything. Performance - frequent frame rate issues and crashes continue a month and half after release. Doesn’t completely ruin the experience but disappointing because it detracts from what is otherwise a great game

The game runs nigh flawless on Quality at 30fps Not wanting to play the game at that setting is one thing, but giving the game a 0 because of performance issues on performance modes is dishonest if you don’t come back and change the rating once the game is “fixed” 6-8 weeks from now

    I have to say that despite all controversy and performance issues on PC and Xbox I haven’t experienced anything like that on my PS5. Game is running well and I’m enjoying the story and gameplay. I want more StarWars games like that. I really hope that they will fix the issues for other players and keep this series alive.

    Performance is just fined. I encounter 1 bug in my 12hrs play-through and it was not game breaking. People giving it 0 really need to go outside and take a walk. Randomly look at their review history and you'll feel the lack of sun on their faces.

I know that the issues regarding with performance is high only on PC, and performance mode on consoles frame rate is not stable apparently but it will get patches to fix those issues, but I play on quality mode because I prefer better resolution over frame rates, and I’ve no issues so far with the HDR problem or massive frame drops playing it PS5I’m loving it so far I have no complaints.     The PS5 version is a hot mess. The performance mode is broken the 30fps runs well enough but the graphics on both modes are held back buy digital reconstruction that looks really fuzzy at times. If you can play at 30fps then there aren't to many issues.

    PS5 performance very very bad. Fps drops, screen tearing is happening too much. I bought the game for $70 but I can't play it. My eyes are almost going to break. For technical reasons i deducted 2 points.

    Quality mode is really good but 30fps is not acceptable to my eyes. The story is good, the gameplay is very very good, the exploration feeling is excellent.

    I'm not sure why this is being down voted... I've got the series X version and the game runs just fine. I'm playing it on fancy settings via a LGCX and it looks great, and plays at 30 odd fps. The game itself is a brilliant sequel, and has added some cool features and skills, adding new content to what was already a great format. Love it, don't belive the negative hype!

    A great game, I love the characters, love the story. I just wish there were more planets to explore.

Like I said on Twitter, if Respawn could have gotten this game out the door on par with steady frames, it would have gotten 10’s across the board, but because of the poor frames rates I had to take some points off. Story wise, the best Star Wars written to date, there are three truly epic moments in this game, one that we never truly seen happen on screen with making a Kyber crystal bleed and another is embracing the dark side. I know I said three but I can’t spoil everything in the game. A must own for the PS5 and hopefully they’ll patch it up soon because I want to play through this again in a better state.… Expand

    Don't listen to the outrageously bad reviews, the game has some glitches but nothing to ruin the experience. It improves on the previous game in terms of gameplay and exploration and is very fun in itself.

    If it weren't for the technical glitches it would be a 9 game but as it is now it's still a great game.

    I personally think that the issues regarding the PS5 performance are overblown. The performance overall is a tad disappointing but the lag never broke the immersion for me. In a few months, the game should be better to play but honestly, the characters, story and gameplay should easily overshadow this.     Once you start the game for the first time you see that HDR is broken- I do not start any workaround on my PS5 settings for a full price game, how can a Q&A department not see this before release?! I do not get it, seriously!
    So I chose SDR mode, as I wanted to play and Performance mode….geez the framerate dropped on some points badly!!

    This cannot be when you see what a Burning Shores is doing with the PS5 on stable 60 FPS and more even with this huge end boss….maybe EA gives Guerilla a call and ask for help.

    So all in all this game is a 10 for me, but not in this condition as it is right now, especially when you have Burning Shores as a comparism.

    Update: Yesterday the PS5 Update was released, game is now in a condition how I expected it! Great game, great story
    The only minus point is the open world, not a big fan of it in the Star Wars universe, but well also not that bad, yelling at high level it is.

    A solid step forward for the franchise. Anyone who enjoyed the first game will enjoy this. The story does feel rushed at the back third but is padded out with great set pieces that it was still enjoyable. Cosmetics are a center piece of this game and it impresses on that note.     Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a much bigger game than before, with plenty of new moves, collectibles and characters to discover. The size of its open-world maps means it also lacks some of the variety of its predecessor, but there is so much to see and do that you'll likely not care one jot. Perhaps the most impressive aspect is how well fleshed-out the adventure is - better even than many of the TV series and films on which it is based. This is a blockbuster in the truest sense.
