The last game I liked was “X-Wing versus Tie Fighter”…. anyway, the game has you climbing walls and grappling like spider-man everywhere. There is wall running similar to Titanfall but in the 3rd person. Honestly the parkour and wall climbing stuff is kind of old, and beyond that you’re just slashing away with your lightsaber. The Force abilities are “meh”. If you’re a big Star Wars kid you’ll like this, but otherwise IT IS EXTREMELY OVERRATED, even with all the bugs fixed! Funny thing about bugs these days, as with Cyberpunk 2077, is it takes away from how the game is just an ok-ish game. Expand

As a SW fan, I have to say that they improved on the previous game but overall it feels rushed and unpolished. I am struggling to enjoy the game and I can't recommend it at full price. Gameplay is repetitive and combat uninspired. Platforming feels like a chore. I just don't have any fun playing.
The story is the strong point of the game but if I want story I will get a good SW novel !

The lore and the music of the Star Wars universe is just fantastic but the bugs and glitches are still all over the place and it really breaks the game's pace and immersion. I'm getting constant framerate drops, clipping, popping and textures not loading (I'm playing performance mode). Quality mode is straight up unplayable, I don't even understand why it's the main setting of the game. On the "big red flag side" (especially since the game has been out for almost half a year now), I got crashes and game breaking bugs that forced me to completely restart the playstation. The map who also was a big issue in the first game still is really hard to understand. Lastly, transitions between gameplay in cinematics look awful and clunky wich is really weird because the game itself looks most of the time gorgeous. This game must've been a nightmare to play on release and it really pains me to say this because, bugs aside, it would've been a masterpiece.

Edit: After 100%, I have to drop my score. Way too many crashes and visual glitches. The main planet is not running smoothly at all. I cannot recommend playing the game in its current state. :(

I don’t understand what’s been happening with developers lately, even in quality mode - low resolution, and in performance mode it’s just a nightmare, and even with fps drop, as if I’m back in the days of Xbox one, I’m already ready to buy pro versions of consoles, because I feel like it will only get worse.

Unfortunately, it's still hard to call it a pleasant gaming experience, and if it weren't such a long-awaited sequel to a game that I deeply liked, I'd prefer to start playing it only a couple of months after.

The combat system, gameplay, size and detail of the world are impressive. Perhaps the only thing in these aspects that was a disappointment, it's a few planets.
Only one or two large and several small ones.
When you travel through this large area at the beginning of the game, you are sure that there will be many different, large, open territories as on this planet, but alas. In fact, this is our main place of action and all other places becomes smaller and smaller.

The other disappointing thing was the plot. It's fine, but it's catastrophically short.
Actually, you'll get really great action, plot twists, cinematic events and story advancement, but in the last 10% of the game.
Except for the first hours of a fairly good story set-up, 90% of the time you will have one single goal, the MacGuffin, the Sacred Land. Information, leads and clues about which you will search for the entire game.
I can’t say that it’s completely bad, because in the process we visit a lot of pretty locations, fight various enemies and, in general, enjoy good gameplay.
But the plot, as such, is simply on pause for most of the game and moves by a bit only occasionally and in the end.

The ending itself left mixed feelings because on the one hand it tries to be complete, but without any final statements, on the other hand it leaves an infinite amount of space for any possible number and type of sequels.

Performance mode is a joke and charging £70 for something as unstable and poor looking as this is nothing short of disgusting. Graphics themselves can look very impressive in certain areas and on specific character models (at times) however the textures and overall look of the game in general is pathetically average for an exclusive next gen title. Blatantly no noticeable improvements over last gen. The story and the protagonist carries this game; as Cal Kestis, a likeable and empathetic character that continues to bring the best out of the series. His commitment as a true jedi and also someone who cares deeply for the relationships with the people around him are consistently at odds with each other, which makes for an intriguing and entertaining dynamic. The story overall is satisfying however, even with its longer length than fallen order, it still manages to feel as though it was cut short. The entire game focuses on reaching a specific location but the payoff to this falls completely short. Twists and turns keep things interesting but mostly occur towards the backend of the story adding to that feeling of an abrupt ending. Combat has been somewhat dulled down in a sense, there are now three more lightsaber stances over fallen order’s two, however, the existing lightsaber stances have been reduced to being less intricate and the new stances are watered down even more so. Frustrating development choices mean only two of the five stances can be equipped at anytime, this leads to players becoming accustomed to the same two stances that they are most proficient with, making the other three completely pointless outside of special narrative circumstances. The planets are a lot less diverse and there aren’t an abundance of locations to choose from. One location is semi open world and where the player will spend arguably 75% of the game. The other locations become increasingly smaller with only one other open location that isn’t even half the size of the first, and multiple small locations (including the final planet) that are even less of the size of the linear locations of fallen order. It’s genuinely a massive back step with the exception of the amazing semi open world location, that breathes new life into the franchise. The new cosmetic system is fantastic and gives the player a sense of input and control of the main character, all cosmetics are implemented into cutscenes and this much needed improvement enhances the experience massively. Overall Jedi survivor is still an impressive title that does truly allow you as Cal Kestis to feel like a Jedi knight, especially when free roaming the open locations picking off droids and stormtroopers, it’s that type of experience that saves this game but other elements hold it back and even go completely in the wrong direction from fallen order. Hopefully these are things that can be improved further in the third instalment. Expand

Combat feels a bit wonky and like a very unpolished version of Dark Souls. The world design is big and pretty, but also very confusing (I don’t think I’ve ever been stuck this many times in a game, simply because finding the correct path to take is a pain). Rewards for doing anything optional in the game, are kind of meaningless. Sure, they listened and made your character and lightsaber more customizable, but… what’s the point? It’s all cosmetic, and there are no gear, weapons or anything that affects gameplay besides stances. When am I ever gonna stop to look at which one of the many similar looking components, I’m using on my lightsaber?! It’s meaningless, unnecessary fluff. But besides these gripes, it’s still a functional, playable video game - it just doesn’t do anything you haven’t already played a million times before, but what it does, it does well enough. Definitely not the worst offender in terms of playing it safe, but not a game that has a unique voice either. Am I alone in being fed up with the standard AAA-formulas we keep being served? I miss the days of creativity in AAA game design. Seems like the indie scene is where all the interesting stuff keeps happening.

Unfortunately, the game is plagued with almost too many visual bugs to count making the overall experience somewhat mixed.

Survivor picks up 5 years after the events of Fallen Order and we find Cal Kestis as a full on guerilla opposition agent working to undermine the empire. The previous crew of the Mantis has broken up and scattered across the galaxy, leaving Cal feel alone and lost in his struggle against the empire. The story is a very solid Star Wars tale with great characters, interesting twists, and an engaging story arc. Every character in the game feel unique and fleshed out with their own issues, backstories, and agendas.

The game play is similar to Fallen Order, with some new lightsaber stances and force powers mixed in. Overall, I found the combat to be a little too mashy and not as intricate as I would of preferred. I almost exclusively used the blaster stance, which features a lightsaber in one hand and blaster in the other, as it was very useful in picking off enemies at a distance. The platforming is frequent and works very smoothly. My main main issue with the platforming is that there is just too much of it, by the 800th wall run it just felt like a tack on to extend certain gameplay stretches.

My main issue with the actual gameplay is the greater exploration and side activities in the game. There are hundreds of nooks and crannies to explore, rare bosses to find, etc. The game has a real rewards issue for these side activities, they mostly just reward you with new cosmetics for Cal and BD-1. It just isn't very fun or logical for Cal to find a new sideburns haircut, for example, in a treasure chest on a long abandoned and unexplored area of a planet. The game tries to sprinkle in actual rewards like skill points and force meter upgrades but it feels like these happen maybe 5% of the time.

On to the graphical issues, which are so frequent I considered abandoning the game multiple times (I played on a PS5). Performance mode (60fps) features as much screen tearing as I have ever seen in a large Triple A game, you couldn't do a full 180 or 360 turn with Cal without popping and tearing. I tried to push through on this mode because of how muddied the game looks in the 30fps quality mode, but eventually finished the back half on this quality mode. The game looks pretty drab in this mode, the lightsaber colors don't pop, the action doesn't look as fluid, and my game crashed at least 3 times in this mode.

In totality, Survivor is still one of the better Star Wars game out there, and hopefully EA and the Respawn team are able to fix its performance issues in future updates.

Only two real planets to explore (and 4 very small and linear ones) none of them are really interesting besides the two main ones...

Level design is very strange as it feels like the different areas are connected by stuff kinda floating in the air that doesn't really make a lot of sense if you think about it... kills the immersion a bit.

Beside that, gameplay feels pretty good (when the game runs properly) the new stances are fun, the crossguard is pretty badass i have to admit (even if i'm not a fan of the sequels)

There is a lot of customisation, and a lot of items to force you to explore, sometimes it's a bit much, if you're a completionist.

Anyway, even without performance issues, i think Jedi Survivor is not bad, but not a great game either, without i'ts star wars skin it would have been pretty a average game, i played it for the gameplay and the jedi fantasy, but the rest was kinda underwhelming to me.

The narrative is filled with tension, suspense, and moments of hope, drawing players into a gripping tale of survival against all odds.

The gameplay mechanics in Jedi Survivor offer a mix of intense combat and strategic decision-making. Players engage in lightsaber duels, utilizing a satisfying combat system that captures the elegance and power of wielding a lightsaber. The Force abilities add an extra layer of depth, allowing players to employ telekinesis, Force pushes, and more. The game also incorporates stealth and exploration elements, providing opportunities for players to navigate environments, solve puzzles, and make strategic choices that impact the outcome of the story.

Visually, Jedi Survivor impresses with its attention to detail and stunning environments. From sprawling urban landscapes to treacherous alien worlds, the game's graphics bring the Star Wars universe to life in vivid detail. The character models, including the Jedi protagonist and iconic Star Wars creatures, are beautifully rendered, immersing players in a visually stunning and authentic experience.

We all already know that new games are full with bugs and need patches, but this game isn't even finished.
IMO it shouldn't even be legal to release games before they work properly.

However If the game performed as it should I would give it around 8/10, its a solid game, but its not a masterpiece. There are other games in this genre which is better than this game.
But if you a Star wars fan then this is probably their best one yet.
"Only" problem is that its seems to still be in developing stage, so if you want to enjoy this experience you should clearly wait until they deliver a complete and fully working version of the game.

EA games should be really ashamed and I will never buy a new game from them again before checking with USER CRITICS, because its obvious that we cant trust these paid critics.

It's called "Sponsored Content" or "Native Advertising". So it's nothing new that big companies like EA are paying the media and content creators for positive reviews.

Its simply not acceptable to pay full price for unfinished games. There should be no argue about that. They will keep doing this as long as they make money of it. Pre ordering and buying unpolished games only enhances this problem.

They made a conscious decision and CHOSE to release the game in this state.
Under no circumstances such behavior should be accepted.

Wasn’t there an article where they (Respawn, EA) celebrated how quickly they developed and released this game? Well, the results speak for themselves..

unfortunately I believe we will see many more games be released like this in the future. As long as they make money from doing it they will keep doing it.

But they wont fool me next time.

This is a step up from the original in terms of gameplay alone. The narrative also happens to be a lot more interesting. The big downside to this game is obviously the glaring performance issues. I can overlook them quite a bit but other than that I think the side quests are pretty boring and the worlds feel empty. The game however is really fun.

Another middling, mealy, samey third person action-adventure AAA game; Jedi: Survivor is, to be fair, better than some of the other names in this field. That being said, it does absolutely nothing to break the mold of this oversaturated market, instead playing it safe from mechanics all the way down to writing.

Performance issues aside (yeah, the game runs poorly on PS5, not much to add), Survivor feels just like God of War: Ragnarok, which feels just like God of War, which feels just like Ghost of Tsushima, which feels just like Uncharted.

And if you think those are outlandish comparisons, I assure you they're not: forced vertical climbing sections, crevices to hide loading screens, starting with a familiar weapon then getting another after a mid-game conflict, annoying companions, bizarre shifts to semi-linear open worlds, skill trees with infinitesimal upgrades, a semi-autonomous grappling hook bound to L2, and so on and so forth.

While Survivor certainly executes some of these tropes better than its peers, the game still feels so copy/paste and soulless, so inoffensive that casual players and Star Wars fans alike will find almost no issues. I think this is partially exemplified through just how easy it is; my first combat-related death came almost 8 hours in, well towards the end of the second world (on Jedi Master difficulty).

Not only is combat easy, but the world is easy as well. Traversal has minimal stakes as Cal will automatically mantle ledges, BD-1 will alert you to shortcuts and other POIs. The Ubisoft bloat is also felt, as there are now side quests and plenty of annoying little ledges and cliffs to scale for character customization options.

While you can customize Cal's appearance, you can't change his personality. The Marvel/YA novel quips quickly grew old for me, despite a great performance from Cameron Monaghan.

For the sake of sounding overly-negative, there is a lot I like about this game. The multitude of customization options really make you feel like you're Cal, something the last game didn't do a great job of. The game also gives you an almost overwhelming amount of Lightsaber options which were very welcome.

While the game runs like a pile of **** in performance mode, I think the general set pieces were very well-constructed. Coruscant especially felt alive and was really fun to look at, even if the linear traversal dulled the otherwise solid introduction. Similarly, the attention to detail within the enemy types (and their out-of-combat interactions with each other) were a nice addition.

There is something about AAA studios and sequels to their third person action games that just never quite clicks. The word I'm looking for here is "boring." These games are all the same, all made to appeal to the lowest common denominator. They are lightning-in-a-bottle tech demos that, ironically, barely work on release and are quickly rendered obsolete by the next samey game in the genre.

Yet, Survivor has a lot of charm, mainly because of the Star Wars franchise. I loved the beeps and boops from the droids, the buzz of the lightsabers, and the music that littered my journey across the galaxy. It was fun (well, it wasn't, but maybe for completionists) to gather friends at Greez's bar and check in every few hours.

Still, I'd rather a game take a big swing and miss than never step to the plate at all. While I understand the praise for Survivor, I do not agree that it's the next great thing. Not even close.

The game is a good upgrade from the first, but it still feels way too linear. Exploring still feels like a chore and the fast travel system is pretty bad. As much as I like the graphics and lightsaber combat, the game itself lacks any real direction. Decent plot, but it's ruined by the constant fetch quests and linear storyline. 6/10.

Without considering the performance issues of the game, I can say this is a worthy sequel at least in gameplay, if You played Jedi Fallen Order You will find a pretty similar game in Jedi Survivor.
So similar It is, that the first part of the game is almost a copypasta of the previous but the second half is a masterpiece, is one of the best things I've seen of Starwars in a while.
Sadly, due to the bad state of the game in PC or in certain consoles as I've read, I can't give a better qualification to It

    Combat:
The combat feels a lot less fluid than the original game due to the fact the game spams a lot of various mobs, each enemy type seems to have an un-blockable attack and you can't interrupt your current action to block. The result is your left feeling more like a punching bag than a jedi. Parrying is also made awkward due to the frequent FPS drops.

    Story:
Not much to be said here, it's fairly bland, the twists and turns are easy to predict, and some decisions and actions my characters are utterly non-sensical.

    Customization:
There's definitely improvement here, no more ponchos and a little more to choose from. Still, not quite as diverse a selection as it could be.

    Presentation and level design:
Levels look good, you seem to spend the bulk of your time on the same planet, and that planet is chocked full of tedious busywork which gets boring fast. Some of the platforming sections are extremely frustrating and quite badly designed. For the most part though the platforming is the better part of the game.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Jedi Fallen Order was a good game with certain issues but Jedi Survivor fails as a 'next gen' game. Planets are bigger but duller. Their design is not as good and memorable as in Fallen Order, not to mention there are only 2 planets in Survivor but 5 in FO.

The slow ability is removed from the game and replaced with boring mind control (temporary alignment change of hostile AI to friendly). The slow is not used in puzzles and is only available in combat by activating the 'super meter' (basically cuckrage mode from GoW). Survivor introduces 3 new stances (5 in total) but only 2 can be equipped at the same time for some retarded reason. You can switch stances at mediation (save) points but hairstyle can be changed in the pause menu immediately, smh. The story is just a huge sequel bait and is based on nonsensical, lame circumstances (the protagonist falls into an ancient tomb containing long lost knowledge while going for a spare part in the basement — literally). Survivor introduces close to no new major characters, mostly antagonists (they all die, unsurprisingly), new good-guys characters all die in the prologue and are replaced with old characters.
Additionally, a very awkward, pushed and out of nothing romance is incorporated into the story. The devs decided to have a character, Merrin, go full blown edgy and deep 'Russkij akcent' that is so phonyaß and tryharded and unnatural as фак. It was much milder in FO and now my ears bleed from cringe.

Lastly, the game is technically in an abysmal state. Frames drop below 10 during lightsaber cutscenes, the game drops below 20 fps in large areas (even on performance mode), hardlocks, softlocks, crashes are common even 2 months post initial release.

Fallen Order wasn't perfect, it had performance issues as well (loading textures) but it had far better designed worlds and the story was built coherently, characters were utilized better.

Jedi Survivor is similar to Horizon Forbidden West with its story - unrelated to the prequel, based on nonsense, mary-sue character saving the world, pointless characters, heavy sequel baiting; and to A Plague Tale Requiem with its 'cinematic experience' gameplay and performance issues.
While Survivor may not be as disappointing for me as these two games, it's technically in an unpresentable state right now.

Level design is fun and good, I enjoy going around the levels, they feel alive.

Better installment than Fallen Order in every aspect..by the time I got to play it, it was patched up, and I experienced much fewer bugs than those who played on day 1. Open world suits the game, but I preferred the more linear metroidvania style. That's me. And I'm not a fan of soulslike games or combats. That's me again.

This developer was willing to take risks and push themselves as far as possible to achieve their dreams. Though not all risks paid off, as some of their dreams obviously included making a Star Wars movie and placing that as a higher priority than the game.

Here's why. The otherwise exhilarating story is held back by cutscenes presented in letterbox format - an outdated, totally unnecessary Hollywood convention that creators still can't let go of, which is extremely disappointing in this case given how much there is to see and feel throughout the story, which is literally being choked, not quite to death, but to the point of never being allowed to fully breathe, while also being in constant pain throughout the 16 hours it took me to finish, and that's playing on the easiest difficulty and ignoring everything except the story. I didn't expect to be so put off by two simple black bars, but this is how Respawn has decided to make the game, and for that reason, I'm not in a huge rush to keep playing or to play it again.

While the game looks good and fun to play, there are several flaws to address that can't be omitted.
It's very fast paced, encouraging the player to move forward and advance rapidly; However, at many times you can get lost due to poor design and the holomap doesn't help that much.
Gameplay is very linear and repetitive, it's always the same premise : You land in a planet, given a task

Puzzles are pointless and boring, almost feel like a waste of space and time.

Graphics look nice, however one'd have expected a little better since now the crossgen period is over, being released only for next gen consoles.

EA/ Respawn you have completely ruined my experience I shouldn’t even give you one star. Thanks for nothing. Okay so I gave it my all and the open world concepts are a straight miss they messed up but somehow someway as I kept playing and I did use the Reddit users work around the game was enjoyable. Now I’m still really frustrated that a game that has icy meaning to so many and tons of memories spanning 40 years has had so many issues. I’m going to up my rating to a six. I think the game could be a firm 8.5 once everything is fixed. Expand

Gameplay is mostly the same as fallen order, except they took everything and took it up a notch, Kind of like what god of war ragnorak did. Soundtrack is superb and the planets feel more alive than what they did in the previous game (Kashyyyk being an exception). I highly recommend this game to anyone, after the bugs are fixed of course. When fixed, I can garuntee this will be by far one of the best Star Wars games out there. Expand

Exploration was a bit lackluster. Visual bugs like the red lightsabers being just a dark orange is ridiculous. The asset for red is in the first game, no reason why there should have been an issue porting it to this one. The game feels like a 2016 game and if it was released then, I wouldn't be as critical. If a studio with more experience in these types of game (Like santa monica) had control of development without the oversight of EA, it'd have been a far better game. Expand

If you didn’t like fallen order gameplay you are not going to like this gameplay as well.
    No checkpoint for story bosses
The game added two new stances into the game and like all other stances they each have a purpose, one is more ranged focused and one is more damaged focused.
Difficulty in this game can be pretty challenging, and by challenging I mean unfair as hell especially on the harder difficulty. there are some enemies that can one shot you at full health with all upgrades such as the mobu and rancor.
The game feels more of a dodge/parry fest especially on higher difficulty and same with normal, its something you need to get used.
In two cases, be careful when fighting story bosses with multiple phases and by the way theirs no checkpoints between the phases at all.
The collectible grind is really really really bad. they have overpopulated just like a classic open world game with collectibles that don’t make sense unlike echoes and lore dumps.
Only Echoes and lore are important for lore reasons.
Stances are unlocked automatically via story progression.
Customization is a strong suite in this game to the point where its really fun but you need to collectible grind the heck out of the game to even find the piece you want, I just believe its just not worth the hassle for the average consumer.

    Story 2.0
The story with this game feels like a solid entry, nothing game of the decade worthy but a pretty solid entry that you will enjoy.
There are amazing moments in the game but I don’t want to spoil anything.
I would say I enjoyed fallen order better story wise because it was a new adventure vs this game.
The side quests were more of a fetch this person to unlock x and bring them here not that many in totality.
Bounty Hunter Side Quest Was/Is a good part of the game.
There is a time jump between fallen order and jedi survivor in which they released a book on some stuff that has happened like how someone suffered that injury. I would’ve liked to have some sort of lore in the game to explain that in some shape or form. It just makes you feel lost on what happened.

    Music 2.0
The Background music fit really well in the overall totality of the game. It didn’t feel grating and it just fit.
The special scene music sections felt okay and good but nothing memorable as far as I can recall that just sticks out, which sucks honestly.
The audio balance issues in this game from the start are an issue. I had to lower the actual music and sfx to a very low level to actually hear the dialogue. Dialogue should always take precedence and lower other type of music.
Dialogue should take precedence then Sound effect music then music.

Performance 0.5 – only because its playable
The performance of this game is very atrocious, the only reason this stayed on the digital store fronts is because it was/is barely playable with minimal crashes (I Had three of them in which one set me back collectible griding about an hour).
This game is cyberpunk 2077 launch condition level of bad. 30 fps(frames per second) felt like I was watching someone doing their PowerPoint presentation and 60 frames per second felt like I was scrolling through my photos on windows.
Ray tracing is being forced on consoles for some reason which is causing the frame rate to take a massive dump.
The game doesn’t even run at 1080p (source is Digital Foundry) on both modes, how can mess up that badly.
Ray tracing in general requires a beefy computer, what we are experiencing is an attempt of raytracing that most games on consoles that have it will not be true raytracing unless they use it in select areas or you’re a wizard at game development (insomniac with ratchet and clank rift apart). True Raytracing requires a very powerful GPU hence we will prob see it in the next generation not this current gen'
Just like gameplay is the king of gaming, performance is the queen and this game sacrificed their queen for some reason
    .
    In Conclusion
Jedi Survivor has a pretty decent to good story, gameplay, and music is worth to play it once the performance get fixed.
Jedi survivor would feel like an 8/10 game without the performance issues but sad to say.
The game sits at a barely passable 6.5/10 because of the performance was horrible.

Si no salió en ps4 es porque el ridículo sería nefasto, al nivel de lo ocurrido con Cyberpunk.

This game could have been a 10/10. The souls-like combat on the hardest difficulty is challenging and satisfying. The customization is neat and the open worlds are fun to explore. I find myself playing it for hours every night - looking for hidden secrets, talking to cool characters, and enjoying the scenery.
Sadly, the game is currently broken. Everyone has already talked about the performance issues, and they definitely get in the way of fully enjoying this experience. Performance mode somehow performs worse than Quality mode, so I'm unfortunately stuck playing it at 30 fps which is sad for the PS5. The platforming can also be a bit wonky which makes certain traversals really frustrating. I want to love this game. I want it to be my favorite game of the year. I want it to be the game I know it can be. If their patches fix the performance issues and more importantly, MAKE ONE OF THE BIGGEST COMPONENTS OF THE GAME WORK AGAIN, I will hopefully be able to give it a higher score. Pleas fix this game.

I was unfortunately one of the pre-purchaser and to this day the game still doesn't run smoothly on the PS5. The frame drops and stuttering is just embarrassing and reduces the enjoyment of the game.

I also find the story a bit stretched and the difficulty of the bosses seems arbitrary and not well balanced. Particularly at the end, the fights become too Souls-like, which I would have chosen if I liked it, but I don't and so it's unfortunately a bit annoying.
The dialogue between the characters could be better and have more depth.

Nevertheless, one of the best Star Wars games.

The performance is horrible right now, even the 'performance' mode is **** Unstable frame rates and tearing, I think this is the first PS5 game that could achieve this.
Where it's supposed to, it looks beautiful but what does it matter if the game play suffers for it.
The is RT in the game, that you cannot disable and most likely was a big mistake because it just cannot run properly.

Gameplay is average, visuals are decent, and exploration is repetitive. The main issue is performance. Playing on PS5 with performance mode ON still only seems to reach 30fps AT BEST. I've had multiple crashes and game breaking bugs, and I'm reviewing 2 months after the game's release. Overall, it's an average game with some very glaring issues.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a much bigger game than before, with plenty of new moves, collectibles and characters to discover. The size of its open-world maps means it also lacks some of the variety of its predecessor, but there is so much to see and do that you'll likely not care one jot. Perhaps the most impressive aspect is how well fleshed-out the adventure is - better even than many of the TV series and films on which it is based. This is a blockbuster in the truest sense.
