    Cara, do começo ao fim o jogo é pfto, msm com as texturas bugadas é pfto e cada minuto e lugar era uma lembrança do RE 4 original, a Ashley foi melhorada, o Luis nem c fala, deram mais espaço pra ele e uma morte mt mais triste e profunda, o Leon rouba a cena com as piadas dele, RE 4 REMAKE MERECE O GOTY

    Pues la verdad no entiendo a la gente que le ha puesto malas opiniones. El resident evil 4 remake es una fantasía en todo su esplendor, es un juego fascinante y muy fiel al original, con muchas mecánicas y muchos detalles que le hacen una experiencia totalmente nueva. El juego consta de 16 capítulos, y cada capítulo es una nueva experiencia, nuevos enemigos, nuevas cinemáticas, y nuevasPues la verdad no entiendo a la gente que le ha puesto malas opiniones. El resident evil 4 remake es una fantasía en todo su esplendor, es un juego fascinante y muy fiel al original, con muchas mecánicas y muchos detalles que le hacen una experiencia totalmente nueva. El juego consta de 16 capítulos, y cada capítulo es una nueva experiencia, nuevos enemigos, nuevas cinemáticas, y nuevas armas, es toda una odisea que te impulsa a seguir jugandolo, lo mejor es que es muy diferente, pero muy igual es una experiencia única que claramente recomiendo, además que mañana 7 de abríl sacarán el modo mercenarios. En fin... Es una experiencia única y recomendable. No entiendo a esa gente que crítica el juego, con tonterías como "tengo una pc de 1500 dolares y no puedo jugarlo por que está mal optimizado el juego" es claramente alguien que NO lo haya jugado, en lo personal no he tenido ni un solo problema con el juego, lo recomiendo y ojalá puedan probar éste pedazo de juego que se mandó capcom.… Expand

    Uma dos melhores remakes que já vi na vida, não achei que seria bom a esse nível, tiraram algumas coisas irrelevantes pra mim, e mudaram algumas que não faziam sentido, pra mim está perfeito.(quem tá reclamando da roupa da ada é punheteirozinho mesmo)

    Some of those fans are just getting toxic in every way, like they need a game to be perfect, like in their imagination. Hate it or love it, the game is still fun and playable. They need to stop hating everything; they even thread the VA of Ada.

    O jogo está muito superior ao original, sem dúvida foi uma grande homenagem a esse clássico, e coisas que eram muito pastelões pra época hoje fazem mais sentido, está mais pé no chão. Os gráficos estão incríveis, a RE Engine em seu auge, iluminação impecável e o que mais me impressionou em tudo isso foi poder jogar esse jogo no full gráficos com Ray Tracing sem sentir que o jogo estavaO jogo está muito superior ao original, sem dúvida foi uma grande homenagem a esse clássico, e coisas que eram muito pastelões pra época hoje fazem mais sentido, está mais pé no chão. Os gráficos estão incríveis, a RE Engine em seu auge, iluminação impecável e o que mais me impressionou em tudo isso foi poder jogar esse jogo no full gráficos com Ray Tracing sem sentir que o jogo estava pesado, acredito que esteja batendo uns 40 ou 50 FPS pois está muito fluido e satisfatório sem nem precisar se preocupar com o modo desempenho.     Hands down one of the best games Ive ever played in my life. What a thrill ride. I had forgotten how much RE4 and Village had in common until I played it again. Every chapter of this game is extremely well paced. The gun fights are incredible. And the boss fights! Oh what epic boss fights. This game is exactly what the doctor ordered!

The story is more fleshed out with meaningful additions, the major characters are improved, and the gameplay is even more fun than before with greater challenge.     It's a good game and a great remake. There are fewer crazy scenes and more serious and epic moments, I love that. Maybe Ada's voice actor didn't do a very good job, but FOR ME PERSONALLY it didn't affect the performance in any way. She was in the game for only 4-5 scenes. First of all, I evaluate the game, not the voice acting. And I enjoyed the game. Thanks capcom.

Updated locations, character models, weapons, all this looks amazing. I also really liked how some enemies have changed, unlike the original, for example, now the zealots in red robes are not just enemies with a large supply of health, but sorcerers who with the help of a scarlet flame release Las Plagas from the bodies of enemies, and now you need to choose the most ideal approach to defeat all enemies. The battle with Del Lago looks very cinematic, when fighting this boss, it feels like you're watching a cool movie. I would like to express my great gratitude to the developers for retaining many of the usual game moments from the original, but at the same time modernizing them.     Let's be honest for once. The RE community is getting too toxic. Capcom did their best to remake the game so all RE4 fans could play it, and now they hate it because of some small changes they made in the game. Leon is not the same guy as in the original version, but we all know that they did make him more "serious" and sometimes make goofy or cringe jokes in this remake, but    10/10 Game

Leon is not the same guy as in the original version, but we all know that they did make him more "serious" and sometimes make goofy or cringe jokes in this remake, but not too much like in the original. Talk about the VA of Ada, I agree that it ruins the character, but not like that so you guys can thread the VA? They also rework the ADA and add separate ways of doing DLC sometimes too (DLC is confirmed, but not so sure with the VA).

    Now for the game itself, it's still fun and playable. For me, the RE engine did a very good job of developing the game. With some old graphics cards, the game is still playable and looks fantastic in the middle settings. Ashley is now more useful in the game, and those skips you can do in the game can help you speedrun the game more quickly (100 points for the dev team). Luis now has more screen time and a much darker backstory, which he didn't have in the original. The Salazar boss fight is now more difficult, and there is now another way to defeat him instead of shooting him with an RPG. The gameplay itself is now more difficult and fun, Leon now has more ways to defend and eliminate the enemies. The gory death animation is now back in the remake. The story is still the same as the original, and they are not cutting anything to make the story shorter like they did in RE3 (I know, they just cut the laser room, U3 boss fight, incendiary bomb, etc.), but not too much that would make the game too short to play.

    Long story short, RE4 is a game you need to try. If you are new to the RE series, you are still fine to play it, and maybe you will become more interested in the lore in the RE series. It's still a great game, just like the original; both versions are still good and playable.    … Expand

I can totally say that this game is the best Remake of Resident Evil and probably one of the best Remakes ever done. Capcom implemented new mechanics such as the stealth and the durability of your knife, they completely made a mix of New map design, new and more comfortable controls, filling some narrative holes, new mechanics, an interesting changes on the story mode, it is indeed truth that they removed some segments of the game, but they compensated it with good things, making you not even realising those segments are gone. The value of replay is as good as the original, having a lot of challenges trophies and secret weapons, it dares you to try the Hard and Professional mode and try to get the S+ rank, wich of course isnt going to be easy, there is a thousand and one reasons to replay the game. It really is a masterpiece and as someone that played the original dozens of times, i can say the Remake is better than the original. It's truly worth every cent.… Expand

Capcom, parabéns, simplesmente deu aula de como fazer um remake fidedigno ao jogo original, descartando o que deveria ser descartado e adicionando elementos condizentes com a proposta da obra, conheci Resident Evil pelo 4, assim como a maioria esmagadora dos fãs desta franquia de Survival Horror consolidada a nível mundial, senti uma nostalgia tremenda com este remake, revisitando os cenários, historia e personagens do original assim como as magnificas trilhas sonoras, certamente este remake substitui o original, evidentemente teve algumas falhas no quesito lore, com em relação a Operação Ravier citada no remake e minunciosamente alterada que meio que "descanonizou" a Operação Ravier original do Darkiside Chronices, mas emfim, meu maior respeito a este grande remake, para mim o melhor ja feito pela capcom no que tange reformulação de um jogo da franquia, eu realmente ainda não consigo entender e esquecer o desastre ambulante e desrespeitoso que foi o Resident Evil 3 remake, que sim, veio como um brinde afrontoso do Multiplayer esquecível do projeto Resistence, você capcom sempre sera lembrada por esta falha, ainda aguardo o verdadeiro remake do 3 Nemesis pois este para mim foi uma DLC do RE2 remake. Não obstante, venho aqui salientar os anseios do publico de Resident Evil que pedem o remake do Resident Evil Code Verônica a tampo tempo, espero que façam, o jogo realmente precisa de um remake, e também agora do Resident Evil 5 já que fizeram aquela cena final do remake que foi um verdadeiro prequel dos planos dominativos e "Eugenistas" de Albert Wesker, finalizo aqui minha confabulação, e mais uma vez capcom, meus parabéns, continue respeitando os seus produtos e publico.… Expand

    Lo han mejorado absolutamente todo, es el resident evil con mejor desarrollo de personajes a la fecha, me encantó lo que hicieron para mejorar la historia, en cuanto al gameplay la mecánica del cuchillo fue un gran añadido a la fórmula, las nuevas armas y el sonido de las mismas igual estan muy muy bien, ojo al soundtrack en las batallas con los jefes... Pff... Gráficamente para mí es loLo han mejorado absolutamente todo, es el resident evil con mejor desarrollo de personajes a la fecha, me encantó lo que hicieron para mejorar la historia, en cuanto al gameplay la mecánica del cuchillo fue un gran añadido a la fórmula, las nuevas armas y el sonido de las mismas igual estan muy muy bien, ojo al soundtrack en las batallas con los jefes... Pff... Gráficamente para mí es lo mejorcito que hemos visto hasta ahora en esta generación y además corriendo a 60 fps en modo resolución sin Ray tracing, es todo un logro. En mi partida no ví Bugs, solo un poco de bajones de FPS en la parte de la lluvia pero no fue molesto y según ya lo arreglaron con actualización.

    Capcom decidió añadir cosas nuevas y quitar algunas que REALMENTE ERAN NECESARIAS ELIMINAR, estoy muy satisfecho con el resultado.

    A top tier remake of one of the greatest games of all time. This is how you remake a game, almost everything is an improvment to the original, there are a couple of things that the original does better, but overall it's an amazing experience and great way to replay a timeless classic.

    I’m sure that naysayers and die-hard fans of the 2005 iteration will find things to complain about, but viewed as its own entry, this game will no doubt leave its unique mark on the video game landscape as a truly remarkable achievement made by passionate developers. GOTY

    Satisfying combat and kinda more serious RE4 story, but still it have goofiness that og had. Yes, there is some cut content but nothing what everyone misses. If you dont have played RE4 before, I recommend this one. Best RE remake since RE (2002)

    This is my first ever Resident Evil game that I finished, and I fell in love with it. I heard the original resident evil 4 game was the best and people still are playing it still to this day. I'm not even a big fan of this genre. I'm huge fan of games that are RPG/Adventure with character creation. This game somehow pulled me in every time and wanted to see more of Leons story. I watchedThis is my first ever Resident Evil game that I finished, and I fell in love with it. I watched resident evil 4 original game play, and I couldn't buy it and play it. I think these remakes are for people who are new to resident evil. I also just finished Claire's story in resident evil 2 remake, and I thought it was good, but it lost points because of ammo, and it was kind of short. I'm going to play resident evil 3 remake next because I want to know more about the lore. I'm also getting used to the over the shoulder 3rd person look. Dodging is the only negative thing about these games but I'm not taking points from this because I am progressing through the story. Resident evil 4 has variety of enemies, weapons, characters, and even cheesy/bad-ass lines. I want to play this game a second time to try beat my original score and try different weapons. Don't get fooled by the scores and what people are saying. If you are hesitant about buying this game that's ok, wait for a sale or price drop then buy it. I'm not giving this a 10 because of the scores it's getting. It's my honest thoughts about this game. SO FAR THIS IS MY GAME OF THE YEAR!… Expand

    They change the merchant and add the trade section which made do the side quest more useless and they also change how the treasures work and add the mechanic which you have to combine the treasure to make it more valuable
    The only thing negative that I have to say is sometimes the 3rd person camera “shrink” when a enemy is near you and is difficult to shot the enemy
    I suggest you yo play this game on ps5 or Xbox Series X because on old gen the environment textures are bad and most of time they don’t load
    Overall they changed a lot and made the remake better than the original and I recommend this game to you    … Expand

    love the gameplay in this game. The shooting is satisfying, there a lot of weapons, skills and gadgets that you can use to your advantage and the stealth is pretty cool.

    I loved the game! but I would give it an 9/10 because I did not like all aspects compared to the original, like for example what they did with Ada, this is one of my favorite characters and in the remake the voice is weird and the emblematic encounters with Leon change and feel underwhelming now.

    As a teen, I pretty much only had RE4 on my PS2 to play for over a year. It was one of my favorite games, so I was really hesitant for this remake as I had such fond memories of the original. Thankfully, I absolutely adored this remake. It feels how I remember the original game, but with additions and upgrades that    (I have not played Mercenaries, this is solely about the main game).

    As a teen, I pretty much only had RE4 on my PS2 to play for over a year. It was one of my favorite games, so I was really hesitant for this remake as I had such fond memories of the original.

    Thankfully, I absolutely adored this remake. It feels how I remember the original game, but with additions and upgrades that we've come to expect from games these days. Inventory, enemies, health and ammo handling, the cheesy one-liners, the absurd puzzles, the over the top villains - it's all still very much RE4. But smoother, more detailed, more areas to explore, more variety, more possibility of making each run unique.

    Combat feels intuitive but very much keeps what makes it tense and challenging. Still a lot of kneecaps to shoot and villagers to roundhouse kick. The knife mechanics (it has durability and can be used to parry) took me some time to get a hang of but now that I do, I really enjoy that change as well.

    Additionally crafting and trade/economy systems have been upgraded to include more modern and strategic elements. For example, merchant requests now provide you with currency that is used for specific weapons, gems, and upgrade shortcuts. You can still upgrade and purchase regular items if you don't want to do the sidequest kind of content. For me, this added a lot of replayability value, as I can play this very differently on every run. (yes I did all of them. All).

    There are a couple of new weapons, new enemy variants and areas. For me they all fit very naturally into how I remember the game.

    This is the first game in a long time that I restarted immediately after finishing it.

    It is not a perfect game, There are a lot of things the original did better specially Ramon Salazar and Sadler.
    I don't think the game balances correctly
    between being goofy and taking itself seriously as much as the original did.
    The most important thing is... the game is FUN.

    Vraiment excellent. Je suis fun fan du jeu original, je le fais chaque année. Et donc mes attentes ont été difficile à contenter. Mais il a quasi réussi.
    C'est simple, ce jeu a été fait par un fan qui connait les subtilités du jeu original mais aussi celles des speedrunners.

    Jogo excelente! mas deveria ter mudado algumas coisas básicas, por exemplo: Munição dropando de inimigos que não usam armas de fogo, pegar munição em barris e caixas, aqueles baús também espalhados em qualquer canto é sem nexo, ( dentro de uma casa ok. ) Leon, carregar um arsenal consigo e sacar os equipamentos do nada, enfim... detalhes legais assim como em Red Dead Redemption.

The remake stays pretty faithful to its predecessor, it uses the re engine to create what feels like an updated re4 experience pulling the camera a bit further away from leon, the stealth element is pretty cool and the game itself looks great and improves on the lack of horror elements in the original. It's not perfect by any means and I'm being generous with my rating because of a few things.

    I love how luis had more of a role to play in the remake, in the original he kinda came and went so I felt nothing when he died. This game has you spend more time with him before he dies and the way they killed him off made more sense as well.

    The Krauser knife fight was a major improvement over the qte cutscene in the original, made for a more interactive experience and is a good refresher on the games parrying mechanic.

    Mercenaries being a free update rather than a paid dlc was a good move on their part, this game would have gotten a 5 had it been pay to own.

    The things that keep it from being a 10 to me are the following.

    Censorship of dialog used in the original, the pandering to this soft ass generation will be the downfall of good storytelling in time, mark my words.

    Cut areas and boss fights, the forked path after the cabin standoff removed, u-3 removed, laser corridor removed, Salazar statue chase removed, lava room removed, the bulldozer standoff was pretty lame in the remake and can be totally skipped with 2 grenades. Assignment Ada and separate ways are gone (I'm sure they'll make a paid dlc for this later).

    The content that was cut obviously didn't completely destroy the game, however I can't support releasing a game in pieces when the original bundled it all together. If separate ways like the mercenaries is a free update to the game then I will update this to a score of 9 later on.

    Anyways that's just one gamers opinion, it's solid but expect changes and cuts but not nearly to the extent or re3make, have fun with it and remember, the 2005 original isn't going anywhere.    … Expand

    Resident Evil 4 Remake is a masterpiece. I've never thought a remake could be this good (I've played the original game). The first 10-20 minutes of the game is the most exciting and thrilling thing you could ever imagine. You walk around the area then you found out there is some crazy villager in the area then you get to a huge village then thrill ride begins.

    Not only that but they take some iconic parts of the original, throw in some RE engine magic and from a plain and boring section of the game into "man i remembered this thing used to be a long path to the next section". A good example would be the Mendez boss fight. In the original you shoot the guy but the remake you shoot the guy then his body is separated he grabs on to the burning house throwing stuff at you. Pair this with the new mechanic and it's just the best thing you could experience.

    [im not saying the original is bad here but these expanded section is extremely fun]

    The only downside of the game is that ashley tend to get stuck when walking through complex maps and stuff. AND OF COURSE cut content. U3 was cut from the game so don't expect that.

    Before you buy the game consider this:

    This won't be that much of a Survival-horror game like RE2 remake the game is much much more action packed but still have that item management.

    Overall good game, good remake

The game does a great job of balancing both horror and action with of course a dip of cheesiness. The gameplay itself is entertaining, I really enjoyed going around kicking infected villagers in the face while Leon said some cheesy one-liners. I enjoyed exploring the map and learning the lore of the village while doing the small little side quests for The Merchant which was a nice addition. The story was somewhat engaging with my only complaint being I wish some characters were fleshed out a little, especially Saddler who if I'm being honest is just another generic villain. Thankfully Krauser takes center stage as the villain for a certain amount of time which helps me forgive the generic main villain problem. Other characters such as Ada and Luis were super fun to watch and even fight alongside, making for some memorable moments. Ashley however was a stand-out, thankfully making her less of a damsel in distress and more of a partner in a tag team dynamic. Compared to the original, it doesn't land some of the same marks but the new and refreshing changes help make this remake feel completely new and familiar, and with those changes, there was nothing to cause me to throw a hissy fit. Overall it’s a fun Resident Evil game and I’ll say it regardless of the user score, I loved it and I personally think this is the definitive way to play RE4. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinions so there's mine.

    Side note: I finished the game right before the micro transactions and mercenary update which if I’m being honest just never really interested me but I’m happy they threw it in for the people that did ask for it. I do hope they add Separate Ways soon because I LOVED this Ada and thought the voice actor did a wonderful job making her mysterious and intriguing and I would like to see more.    … Expand

    Glad I bought the game on PS5, they ruined the Xbox Series X version. Frame rate is terrible and has screen tearing. Amazing remake.

    it's what re4 was at the time but with more intense cutscenes and really good interactions. Beautiful graphics and really nice fights. The horror which is more present too and the gore is really there. All the characters are charismatic. Separate ways are indeed missing unfortunately, which I really expected with the game because Leon is great but Ada is too.     The single greatest Remake we've seen so far, and that's a high bar to clear. Somehow RE4 Remake made it look easy

    RE4 war damals der Beginn einer neuen RE Ausrichtung. Viel Aktion, weniger Horror und eine andere Kamera. Wenn ich mich jetzt recht erinnere war es auch Heller als die Vorgänger. Aber da bin ich mir nicht mehr so sicher... muss es mal wieder Spielen. Das Remake fängt viele positiven Aspekte ein. Ich liebe die Atmosphäre, das düstere und die Aktion ist nicht durchgehend, was ich auch positiv finde . Der Abschnitt mit Ashley hat mir gut gefallen. Da kam etwas Horror auf und man ist dort aufmerksam, zumindest beim ersten Mal. Das sich z.b das Uhrenrätsel auf den beiden Höheren Schwierigkeiten ändert fand ich auch gut gelöst so muss man dann doch nochmal dort durch. ;)
    Etwas wenig Rätsel wie ich finde das fand ich schade. Für mich könnten es mehr sein. Aber da gehen Meinungen auseinander. Mal schauen wie der DLC und wie der VR Modus wird. Ich bin gespannt. :)

    Ich finde das dieses Remake sehr gut geworden ist und ich kann es jeden empfehlen. Muss aber auch sagen das ist meine Meinung und nicht eure. Ich Spiele gerne RE (außer 5 und 6) und Horror Spiele . Also wer es auch gerne macht und es noch nicht hat... schlagt zu. :D    … Expand

    Ahsley without a doubt is one of my favorite characters and I would love to please remove the recovery frames she has, because when you throw a Grenade, when you throw a blinding she lasts stunned for many seconds, also when an enemy charges her and you shoot the enemy, she falls to the ground and when she gets up she stands there for a few seconds without reacting, when you tell her to "follow you closely" she stays behind and really is not as close to you as she is supposed to be, when you tell her to move away she goes into a state called "alone" where the NPC seems to be lost and doesn't move, please guys developers remove that state, remove those recovery frames, make ahsley's AI faster and more efficient when reacting, when she is on the ground she should get up fast, run fast, crouch fast, she can move much further away when you give her the "move away" command, she can move away from end to end to make it more difficult for the cattle to abduct her.
    It would be great if ahsley could give you ammunition every so often when you are short of bullets, and when you have no more healing ahsley could give you a healing (yellow, red and green grass) so you can raise your health bar.
    One more mechanic that could be added, is that although ahsley doesn't help us in combat, she struggles to prevent them from taking her, it would be super cool if she could win the struggles, for example... while the cattle has her by the neck, she pushes him and runs away. I would like to thank you all for your attention, thank you very much for your attention, and I hope that we can all agree that you will implement all the above in ahsley through an update to make the game experience much more enjoyable. Thank you very much for your attention. I would love to see ahsley come back in a future game as an agent. it would be great to see her once again and know what happened to her and of course to play with her. If they make a remake of re6 they could remove helena and instead ahsley be the companion of leon, and that the merchant of re4 return and exchange dialogues of how he survived the island etc...    … Expand

    The story of the game is a mediocre story, the gameplay is very enjoyable and attractive, in terms of visuals, it is equal to Cross Gen 2023 games and has a stunning visual, the main boss fights are very similar to each other. The sound design of the game is wonderful, the enemies have a good variety and only one new type of enemy has been added to the remake compared to the original version.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake not only does right by its original source of inspiration, but it also sets a high bar for what modern day remakes can be. All components of the story have been finetuned into a more well-thought out package, and that’s before mentioning the game’s full use of today’s graphical prowess to deliver a more terrifying interpretation of rural Spain. The core gameplay also retains what made it so great back in the day, but with modern amenities such as a parrying system, quick-select for weapons and the ability to run. And despite the new improvements, the increased aggressiveness of the enemies ensures that the game never feels like a cakewalk. I don’t know who still needs to be convinced at this point, but Resident Evil 4 is a masterpiece that I cannot recommend enough.
