    - Village has short adventure

    - El Gigante got bigger compare to the OG
    - Bella sisters are so awesome and terrifying
    - Stealth can be a little bit extra in this remake
    - Knife parry gameplay mechanic is something that I didn't expect to be added in the game and I love it
    - Without a knife the game is defenseless
    - Castle became realistic design
    - Castle design is one of my favorite in the remake
    - Ashley's personal is a lovable character
    - Ashley is not annoying sometimes
    - Ashley's gameplay is confusing
    - I think of Ashley that I'm protecting her instead of baby sitting her
    - Ashley's role is matured as a young adult
    - Ashley is now talkative than before
    - When Ashley talking to Leon while in the gameplay is one of my "wants" in the remake
    - Helping Leon is one of the thing that you will not hate Ashley.
    - The story is very understandable compare to the OG.
    - The game is not quiet anymore especially Leon and Ashley compare to the OG.
    - I both love OG and Remake, so since they are equal or respectfully each other, Remake promise to OG to improve everything and they actually did it.
    - They almost keep everything from the OG to Remake.
    - Each character model can be viewed (FINALLY!)
    - Shooting range is fun and hard!
    - The whole game is hard! and I love it!

    Negatives:
    - The rain still off but we'll wait for the day-one patch update soon    … Expand

    Greatest game of all time! Amazing storyline, improved character's, funny one liners, a smart ai companion and so much more added, the u3 was cut but thats quite miner, this game is amazing deserves game of the year!

    Another slam dunk from Capcom. They took an already fantastic game and made it even better! Visuals are top notch and the setting is very unsettling. All these negative reviews are ridiculous by the way

    Fantastic remake! The story proggressed very well and kept me entertained throughout the whole game. The visuals were stunning as well, and the character design was great!

    Please be aware. This game is amazing and one could argue there's a bit of cut content. We do not know if mercenaries and separate ways will be free DLC. Now that that's out of the way - this is a complete experience y'all.     Here's a few examples of a bad horrible reason to give it a bad review:

    "Ada's voice actress is terrible" - Ada probably has 4 minutes of screen time at most in a 20 hours game

    "The physics are horrible when you kick a ganado" - The idea is to give you and your enemies some space when getting grouped up on. It's a video game

    "The dialogue is campy" - have you played any RE games before? In fact - capcom wanted to keep some of the campiness because some of the lines are iconic "where's everyone going? Bingo?"

    Some people are not going to enjoy the game and that's cool. People have their own personal tastes.

    But if you are review bombing a game to suck the fun out of something that's genuine well put together and praised by everyone just to stir the pot then you need to seriously touch some grass.    … Expand

    Having played teh hell out of the OG ps2 version. This is quite a remaster. Quite the modernization as well. Back then, the controls were clunky, but here it is quite smooth. You wish you had a few things gameplay wise back then, and here you have them. The Story remains true, but the path taken has changed. Some cut content has been made compared to the original. New mobs, puzzles requiring a special key, passive bonuses from key chains are to name a few. The world feels as if its all one big map, no loading screens between areas. New weapons been added, a crafting system that really really helps out when the ammo drops are poor and you really need it. Wish they got the original VA for the merchant, but hey. Beggars can't be choosers.… Expand

    This game is a pure masterpiece! A vast improvement over the original RE4, in every way. This is the best Resident Evil game and one of the best games I've ever played!

This game is just perfect, the best gaming experience I've had until now I love re4 from 2005 this game just made re4 even better I do miss U3 and some other enemies but what it gave us made it so much better, Ashley now haves a real personality and better to play with (no screaming) i recommend this game to everyone… Expand

    Amazing game really worth it tons of replay options. It’s even better than the original. Amazing story and Adventure. Perfect Mix Of horror and Action. Would definitely Recommend to Anyone A fan of the Franchise. You can even Swap the soundtrack with the classic with Deluxe Edition!

    The story of the game is a mediocre story, the gameplay is very enjoyable and attractive, in terms of visuals, it is equal to Cross Gen 2023 games and has a stunning visual, the main boss fights are very similar to each other. The sound design of the game is wonderful, the enemies have a good variety and only one new type of enemy has been added to the remake compared to the original version.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake not only does right by its original source of inspiration, but it also sets a high bar for what modern day remakes can be. All components of the story have been finetuned into a more well-thought out package, and that’s before mentioning the game’s full use of today’s graphical prowess to deliver a more terrifying interpretation of rural Spain. The core gameplay also retains what made it so great back in the day, but with modern amenities such as a parrying system, quick-select for weapons and the ability to run. And despite the new improvements, the increased aggressiveness of the enemies ensures that the game never feels like a cakewalk. I don’t know who still needs to be convinced at this point, but Resident Evil 4 is a masterpiece that I cannot recommend enough.
