    Вторая часть мне понравилась, даже больше первой.
    В целом, они практически одинаковые в геймплее. Но некоторые сайд-квесты сделали интересней. В целом подтянули открытый мир. Боёвка с пепвой частью практически одинакова, но всё же продолжает достовлять большое удовольствие.
    Сюжет интересный, но в середине был немного скучноват. Концовка очень интригующая, и как я понимаю, с заделом на    Вторая часть мне понравилась, даже больше первой.

    I was really looking forward to this game, I really loved the emotional impact of 1st game and how it revealed the mystery through world building of the past... None of this I found in Forbidden West. Story of HFW was not impactful, we barely came to know the villains, "plot twists" felt unearned... I really miss scavenging through old world and listening to stories of Old Ones.     What a wonderful experience of a game, Aloy is a great protagonist and the story is wonderfully delivered. Combat feels awesome and more expanded on what made Zero Dawn a great game. I played on hard and the level of challenge felt perfect. Please do as many side quests as you can, it really brings the world to life more.     P.s. (get it?) The dualsense support is extremely impressive for example the adaptive triggers when using a bow or when prying open an old trunk of a car and haptic feedback of a galloping mount over different terrain.

    Great game, beautiful graphics with an open world and lots of things to do. The best is the story that gave a perfect continuation to the serie. Very satisfied with the game.

    Aaaaaaamazing!! Love it!! Great story. Lots of great updates and new creatures. And omg the graphics are amazing on PS5!!! So real and detailed that I keep taking screen shots to put up on my digital picture frame.

    This game is absolutely top tier! Sony never fails to release THE most gorgeous and engaging video games! Horizon sits in my top three games I've ever played. You will not be disappointed with Horizon!

    I would have given it much higher if it didn't launch with as many bugs as cyberpunk 2077, but alas that Isn't the world we live in. I had aloy missing straight drops onto beams dangling over water that caused tons of backtracking and myriad climbing issues in general, I've seen machines not having any AI and just ignoring me as I    I played for ~25 hours. Pretty game, with horrid bugs.

I was at bulwark and decided to head to a tallneck southwest of there, I got all the way there after an hour with some sidetracking, found a campfire, quick saved, and proceeded to solve the tallneck puzzle for 1 and a half hours. Did my save work? No. I got to where I'm supposed to jump onto the tallneck but it's climbholds decided not to exist and I died, I spawned back in bulwark with no record of my journey. I have since Uninstalled the game and decided I'm not touching this hot garbage until they patch it atleast 3 times. This game is not worth 70 USD in its current state.     I have spent hefty time playing this game and this is going to be an honest review about it.

    First let’s start with the good things about the game: -The game looks really good. It really showcase how good the next gen games should look. -Graphics are superb. Character models especially look awesome. -World is also quite huge and it is built superbly well.     -Story is also good. I have liked the concept from Zero Dawn and this also carries it well.
    -Gameplay is some what good, but has lots of issues

    Now the bad
    This is going to be a long list.
    -Bugs. This is probably the first thing that as a gamer I don’t appreciate in a big title like this. Bugs are too frequent especially while transversal. In combat sometimes you are not able to wield weapon. It hasn’t happened often but couple of times. You can stuck in rocks or bushes or any other thing and getting out of it becomes super hard.
    -Getting around the world is another issue. See the open world game needs a robust system that favours exploration. However, in this game it is not that good. First there is no stable thing that you can ride and go along. If your mounting machine is destroyed you literally have to search for another override it and then take it back to the same location where you first left. This is really frustrating.
    -Now the biggest issue. Combat. Dude the melee system is the worst combat I have seen in any open world game. The moves are super basic. Even after unlocking many new moves it still didn’t feel right. Ranged weapons are good but again enemies are so aggressive that it is almost impossible to find a perfect spot to use ranged weapons. The machine will jump over you while aiming and the whole point of ranging weapons is gone. Stealth has same issues. -Difficulty unbalanced. I have no problem with difficult games. Being a Souls games lover I enjoy difficulty, but in this game it is unbalanced. As I explained the enemies can cover huge distance in one jump which makes ranging and melee moves insignificant.
    -Too many dialogues. I think when games focus too much on explaining each and everything it breaks the bridge between player and game. Most of the time I am just waiting to finish the dialogue. It really made me skip most of the dialogues entirely. -Upgrading system is little complex because it offer variety of things. It may be good but often you can get away with any upgrades at all. There is no special reward or satisfaction that you get from upgrading. Final verdict So, is this a good game? I will say yes, because I still enjoy it playing just like any other open world game. This game has some basic issues which I hope were not there.    … Expand

    Glitchy IMO for certain "critical" movements, interact prompts are very narrow, and figuring out "what you suppose to be doing, or how to do "it" is more annoying than fun.
    There are areas in the beginning that are not accessible without special item/gear. Why? So we have to go back to that area and do it again and again? Not    If you enjoy being Frustrated, This is the game for you.

I had very high expectations for this game given my high opinion of the first and while not everything I hoped for the sequel came to be it still an excellent game worthy of praise. I have been fortunate not to encounter any major bugs so far and despite playing on a last Gen console the graphics and performance are still exceptional. As for what I like about the game, I enjoy of course the characters and world they inhabit. The new machines are incredibly visually interesting and intimidating while the titular Forbidden West is stunningly beautiful. Thankfully the game remains grounded in its setting and narrative carefully avoiding leaning into modern day political issues, which I know is a concern many had leading up to release. Aloy’s character design is still fantastic, the many new weapons and armor styles she has access to adding additional flavor to her flamboyant badassery. Hands down one of the best female characters in gaming alongside Samus Aran and pre-TLOU2 Ellie. Many returning side characters are still full of personality and life while some new ones feel just as colorful. As for what I didn’t like well some parts of the story feel rushed, with characters being introduced only to be killed off or become less relevant a few scenes later. Combat while being expanded on, especially with melee weapons, lacks a certain cohesion in practical scenarios. As someone who beelined right for the stealth tree I found myself at a severe disadvantage trying to carefully plot my way through enemy encampments or through machine infested fields. By trying to accommodate all possible playstyles at once in every encounter it damages the experience for those who focus heavily down one particular skill tree rather than branching out. The new mobility options are also a mixed blessing as they give you many tactical options for when all hell breaks lose but many enemies now occupy areas only easily accessible by these new tools meaning you are often left with little choice but to break stealth and go in arrows blazing to get rid of enemy snipers who’d otherwise spot you moving below in the camp picking off less hard to reach enemies. As for things I don’t feel strongly about one way or the other the new board game mini-game is fine, the fast travel system enhancements are fine, the number of side quests and collectibles have been scaled back from the first games unfortunate Ubisoft levels of clutter and are all just fine. I like the side stories and characters involved, some even have actual consequences and tie together forming more complex narratives. Climbing and scanning for resources are also fine, but nothing to write home about, just nice QoL changes that make the game better than the first. There’s a lot of little things that make the sequel a better experience and some big things that give it a little more oomph. While I certainly wouldn’t it call it The Empire Strikes Back of videos games, it’s no The Last Jedi either. Good game, just buy it if you wanna have a good time.… Expand

    Hands down this game is probably my favorite game of all time. I loved zero dawn and thought it was amazing with some minor grievances. However I haven't been so captivated by a game world since the Witcher 3 came out. The story is top notch (including side quests), the combat is superb, the machine designs are really cool, and in top of all that the world is just absolutely gorgeous. If you are on the fence about this game, I would have to say you should definitely play this game! Even if you don't know what has happened from the previous game. I would recommend you play Zero Dawn 1st but it isn't necessary in this technology age. Either pull up a story recap or just watch the short prologue that is in the game. Don't make the same mistake with this game like I did when it came to Zero Dawn, I was completely oblivious to one of the best ps4 games there was, for way to long.

    What an enjoyable sequel. Any gripes I had with the first game are attended to in forbidden west. My biggest praise for this game is the vast variety and density of the biomes in this game. Non overstay their welcome and always look refreshing. Some will probably be polarized on the story but I believe it was well done!

    This game is just awesome. Great graphics, a few bugs here and there, nothing unplayable and very fixable with patches. Would recommend this to those who liked zero dawn.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game design and has been dramatically expanded in this sequel. Skill specialization, crafting, gathering, combat, and exploration all have more depth and intrigue. Bugs have been minimal, but AI can behave strangely on rare occasion.

    I'm currently too early into the story to give it any noteworthy critique, but some side characters really do feel as though they were regressed from their development as characters in the previous title, leading to some bizarre and jarring interactions (such as Avad's SECOND romantic advance on Aloy, and Erend regressing back into an immature drunk, matters which the first game already satisfyingly moved beyond). I am still excited and interested to see how the writers plan to develop Aloy herself as a character in the story to come.

    Playing on PS4 has provided no technically difficulties whatsoever and runs wonderfully, especially for hardware that's over 8 years old.    … Expand

    Amazing graphics! Love the extra abilities with climbing and the glider! Love that they added the pullcaster! I am a completionist player, I still have a few more things to do, but I found out that there is another big quest in this game with the rebel outposts…so keep playing and beating those outposts to find out what it is…

I can see how it feels a bit towards being more of a PS4 Pro title, but the essence of the implementations regarding the PS5 new technologies are there and make it feel like a great experience and pleasure to play. This game is rich in details despite the minor hugs that people has encountered (so far I haven'tSo far I am really pleased with this game. Is not perfect, but great enough. I can see how it feels a bit towards being more of a PS4 Pro title, but the essence of the implementations regarding the PS5 new technologies are there and make it feel like a great experience and pleasure to play.     Only a few hours in but visually stunning. Gameplay is excellent and the storyline is wonderful and follows on beautifully from Zero Dawn. Shows off the power of the PS5 graphically. Cannot wait for the PSVR2 and the scheduled Horizon game. Just stunning.

    I put a 9 for the graphism and global realisation. The game is really cool but repetitive at a certain point.
    Other than that on PS5, the loading is really fast and I enjoyed it from the beginning till the end.

    Très très bon jeux, bonne histoire, super graphismes, surtout les traits de visage, musique et gameplay génial, monde ouvert assez vaste avec énormément de machines différentes, bref un très bon jeux que ce soit sur ps4 ou ps5.

    I've put 30+ hours into this game so far. I think it's a great continuation of the first game. The visuals are stunning, the story is fairly well written, and I love the new characters you get to meet. I love the new machines that were added as well as some of the new weapons and upgrades.     I am truly enjoying this game! It is not a perfect game. There are some fixes (performance, bug fixing such as a mount call bug I've been having) and some gameplay improvements I think could make it even better (crafting/inventory mainly but not limited to). That being said, I love this game, it is unique, fun, challenging and beautiful!! A lot of people have review bombed this gameI am truly enjoying this game! It is not a perfect game.     sure some people might not like the game it's an open world, if you don't like exploring, collecting etc you'll find the game lacking but it's kinda what open worlds are about.
    But no one can deny how polished and beautiful the game is, making it worthy just for tat beautiful scenery you travel through.
    Sure the wow factor isn't the same as the first one.. Like every single sequel EVER, but it's still an eye candy, voice actors are amazing, it's simply the block buster type of game like Hollywood make them once in a while.
    No it's not super deep story wise (once you finished the first one you know what's it's all about, not much surprise left), but it's just so entertaining it's worth a shot.

    Let's be honest I wouldn't have rated 10 if it wasn't for all the trolls bombing this game unfairly, but I would have given it a 9/10 without a doubt.    … Expand

    In terms of being repetitive, what video game isn't? The idea is you learn skills to enable progress through the game, and like any skill you have to practice at it to get better as you come across tougher opponents. You the player and the character need to practice elements provided by the game to get better at them to progress. If games had completely different methods and requirements as you go through people would get annoyed because they figured out how to do something and now the system has completely changed so have to learn the new one, therefore ruining the flow of the story.    … Expand

    Beautifully rendered with an amazing soundtrack. This is one of the best games I've ever played. The cut scenes are dramatic and engaging. The side quests are interesting and require unlocking abilities/tools, so they aren't just there as filler anymore.

    I'm about 12 hours in and I'm thoroughly enjoying everything about the game, I find myself distracted with the plethora of side-quests/activities that are available, I've run into the odd texture issue/bug. But that's to be expected when you're playing a game in its first week of release.

    Of all the games I've played on my PS5 this is the first one that I have felt has utilised the potential the console has (though I haven't played Returnal and I've heard that did a good job of it).

    Everyone who has the opportunity to try this game should snatch at it, it was well worth the wait and the hype.    … Expand

    This a sequel in every aspect. Generational defining visuals, engrossing story, and it builds on the unique and fun combat of the first game. Ignore the people rating the game 0-4. They’re trolls that probably didn’t even play the game or jealous that Sony has hit yet another home run. Wow. What a game.

    Absolutely loving Horizon FW! Genuinely the most enjoyable game I've played since RDR2. I think about playing it whenever I'm away from home & as a 30yr old I haven't had that feeling from a game in a while! Bravo!

Instead of just whacking machines like in the first game, theres actually alot more skill involved to hit their weakpoints and a strong focus on elemental weaknesses. Dodging is your friend more than ever in this game. The amount of times I get 1 tapped by a machine was crazy. New machines have creative moves and even the old machines from Zero Dawn got move upgrades. That's not to say the game was overly hard. On normal, it provided the best challenge that really made me focus to beat the machines and bosses and finish the missions(Get it? Focus? I'll see my self out xD). In terms of the story, THIS is how a sequel should be made! You meet old friends and make many new ones along the way, the character development is super good and you really connect with the characters. The story is a perfect continuation from Zero dawn and some of the lore you discover is really mind altering. The world is huge with so much to do and to explore and looks amazing even on PS4, I still do not know how they did it! The skill system is awesome with over 150+ unlockable skills and I found myself using most of them to make my quests easier.

    Now onto the things that aren't so amazing, mounts. They added new mounts to override to get around the map. While most of them are fine, the normal horse-like mounts are still clunky and the mechanics are underpolished. Also, the melee system could use some work, the amount of times it took me to finish the practice combos to pass that quest irritated me. There are bugs here and there but they weren't anything game-breaking. As we speak, Gerilla have released a 1.5gb patch to fix some of the issues and more will be fixed with time. There's probably more I missed in terms of the game but I am to busy processing the story.

    If you are new to/ havent played Horizon, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do. Horizon has one of the best/unique stories I have ever played and I am excited to see what comes next!    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Played this for 30 hours, didn't finish yet. I will, but so far it was a mediocre experience. Playing on Hard Difficulty, via the Custom Setting.

    The whole experience feels gated. After finishing the tutorial, I started exploring ASAP, The first three landmarks I explored revealed blocked paths (two on the map, one in a sidequest). Two of those opened up after I finished a Level 24 Quest, for the other one I have yet to find a solution. Talk about demotivating your customer. Leaving the Nora Heartlands in Part One, you could go where you want, doing what you want, your path and exploration only blocked by story- relevant sites. Forbidden West keeps up with the gating. You can only travel most of the map after visiting the first and second areas, and exploration- related abilities are gated behind story missions.

    I encountered tons of bugs, mostly graphics- wise. Non story- NPCs clipping through story relevant- characters in cutscenes (enountered in the first village), Bugging AI's in larger machines, rendering them totally passive. Disappearing machine bodies of flying machines after I killed them while airborne, because the game couldn't decide where to place the body. Worst are control related issues, I suffered random cases of stick drift while aiming at machines from slopes or uneven terrain. My controller works fine, tested in copies of other games, and problems persists even after resetting bluetooth and controller software.

    The last factor makes sniping unbearably difficult in crucial situations, like severing body parts of machines with quest related rewards in it, that would otherwise disintegrate when killing the machine. I solved this issue partially by setting my difficulty to "Custom" and enabling "Easy Loot", which reduces the grindiness of the game by a lot. Btw way, loot, if you want to upgrade, expect a lot of grinding, This game wanrts to be at least Monster Hunter in a light form. Also here, gating or bugs. I got that one legendary armor I want to upgrade. I am looking for a machine site. Can't find it. Use Youtube. Still can't find despite guides with maps. Seems like that machine site spawns only after I have progressed far enough in the story. Just for protocol, I beat that machine in the tutorial as a boss.

    You will be picking up stuff. A lot. This is forced upon you by a mediocre inventory managment system. Your main source of healing are berries, a full heal takes as much as 4 of them, you pick them up in single batches. Your pouches are limited. Everything you pick up exceeding your pouch capacity will be magically teleported to your stash. It doesn't feel like a quality of life- improvement, but yet another wall you have to juggle while playing.

    The skill system is blooated, there are several skill trees, unlocking passives, active abilities (that you can only use with certain types of weapons, related to the tree), and acitve "Valor" Skills. You can have a dozen of those abilities, but due to controller limitations, you have to switch the manually via the weapon wheel, making it feel clunky.

    Remember how people said Part One had to few weapons? Well, fear no more! You can buy a bucketload of weapons, all different, but not offering the flexibility the weapons in Zero Dawn had. You wanna shoot three different types of Ammmunition with your bow, like in part one? No problem, you just have to equip two different bows of the same kind, because most of the weapons only offer one or two types of Ammunition. Well, until you start unlocking Very Rare weapons about 20 hours into the game. I remember times having equiped two Sharpshooter Bows and three War Bows to have access to all types of damage and ammunition I needed. You have only five quicklots on your wheel.

    You need to upgrade your equipment badly, at least on the higher difficulties, unless you want to get two-shot by mobs, which are swarming you relentlessly. Elaborate Critical Strike- animations are nice, but since you have no I-Frames, a well-placed Critical Strike on a machine is often more than enough time for it's buddies to tear you apart. The machines feel more unfair this time around. Zero Dawn had its camera issues, and combat sometimes felt unfair after you had been killed from off-screen three times in a row. This one tops it. The machines in Forbidden West mostly use elemental AOE-Attacks at range. you have no option for long dodges (well, maybe I have overlooked it in some skill tree), and your I-Frames are so limited, that it feels like frame perfect perfect dodges are needed. For me, a frustrating experience, bouncing off of enemies attacks like in pinball. Oh, and the machines are fast. I may be getting old, but a lot of attacks are barely telegraphed.

    We got a german word for this, "Verschlimmbesserung", "improving" something until it becomes worse than, in this case, Part One. I fear for Part 3.    … Expand

Polished to the hilt from graphics to voice acting, MoCap story and gameplay. Couldn't put down the controller! An emotionally rewarding with Aloy in a fascinating and complete world! Ich kenne beide Teile und muss euch ganz ehrlich sagen, Guerilla hat es toll hinbekommen, hat auch versucht, ein paar neue geile Gadgets einzubauen und ganz ehrlich, ich höre nicht auf solche Hass Kommentare und Ratings, bitte macht euch eure eigene Meinung! Gute Graphik, geiles Spiel, tolle Countries! Nur das Kämpfen könnte noch ein bisschen realistischer sein.… Expand

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
