    A jornada de Aloy pelo Forbidden West é grandiosa e completa com ambientes inspiradores à medida que você derruba novas máquinas com um arsenal expandido.     Best video game to date. The scenery is of the highest order (similar to Ghost of Tsushima). I couldnt have asked for a better game.

    If you enjoy being Frustrated, This is the game for you.
    Glitchy IMO for certain "critical" movements, interact prompts are very narrow, and figuring out "what you suppose to be doing, or how to do "it" is more annoying than fun.
    There are areas in the beginning that are not accessible without special item/gear. Why? So we have to go back to that area and do it again and again? Not    If you enjoy being Frustrated, This is the game for you.

    When HZD first came out the story was so unique yet a world that mirrored our own reality in a way only dystopian sci-fi storylines can while still being completely fictional.     I was so excited for this game prior to release... but boy was I disappointed!

    Gameplay is stale because there really isn't too much different from Horizon Zero Dawn. What really has me confused is how bad the in-game physics function. You can be climbing a wall and fall for no reason. You can perform a jump that looks as easy as pie and not catch the ledge. Its honestly more frustrating than words can describe.

    Graphically it looks pretty enough at first glance, but the game is riddled with graphical bugs that are SUPER distracting... some cutscenes have complete lighting changes that make no sense. I was outside in the environment at night, but the second you enter the cutscene its daytime? Other times random environment objects just flash through your screen for no reason. Half of the cut-scenes have NPCs walking through objects.

    At least I got the achievement to plant a tree IRL... that is pretty much my only positive takeaway from this game. Do not pay full price for this, especially until the devs patch some of these issues. The game honestly should have been delayed for more polish.    … Expand

    Only a few hours into it and I found myself pausing for a solid 5 minutes every so often and looking at the incredible animations and graphics in front of me. Guerrilla Games has crafted a masterful sequel, that improves upon everything laid out in HZD. This is a must-play game on PS5, to truly admire all the work that went into crafting this phenomenal sequel.

Gostaria de perguntar para a Sony se não existe um setor que testa de jogos antes de ser lançado. Parece que não existe, vocês deveriam ter vergonha de lançar esse jogo nessa situação.     The game is awesome! From the new character model to new light techniques in game (like the surface scattering), the game is a feast for the eyes!
    Gameplay is solid, keeping the same structure of Horizon Zero Dawn, and expanding it with more weapons, more skills, more hunting challenges.
    I am 15h into the story and I’m loving every bit of it!

    Marvelous game.
    Real good balance between the tutorial for oldtimers and the hands on for newcomers.
    Also real nice story with deep content that can be discussed with multiple characters and a huge story to discover around Aloy and around the world.
    Thanks Guerilla for all that waiting time that was worth it's duration!

    One of the best games I have ever played, they kept the most loveable elements of the first one and added some new. The world feels alive with interesting NPCs and good stories, and Aloy has quickly become one of my favorite Lead Characters in gaming, she is flawed in all the best ways with a heart that you can't help but fall in love with

Story line superb and side missions not just simple quests but really adding super gameplay which keeps you busy for hours. Combat even better compared to Zero Dawn.

    A huge step as a sequel to Zero Dawn! This game expands upon everything from the first one and offers a variety of play styles on it's open world adventure. Character models are some of the best you can get in a video game and offer a wide representation of many ethnicities across the tribes of the Forbidden West. Combine that with it's photo mode, you will be constantly stopping and taking pictures of the beautiful post-apocalyptic world..     The game looks amazing. The graphics are great. Sure, it has some bugs, but nothing outside the usual open world problems. Battle is similar to previous one, no complaints there. Overall, a great game.

    El juego es increíble. Un 10 a Guerrilla. Continúa la historia justo donde se quedo en HZD, amplia el Lore, y mejora todo lo que comenzó en su primera entrega, ampliando el contenido exponencialmente. Si te gustó HZD fliparas con Forbidden West.

The game is a continuation of the first, it doesn't have too many new features, but when something is good based on little else it can be improved, on playstation 5 the textures and shading are wonderful, I finished the main story in 21 hours and it lasts perfectly , Extending it more would be unnecessary.     I'm not done playing it yet, but the game itself is an amazing breath of fresh air on the PS5. The characters, plot, action, and even the chess-like mini game inside of it are all spectacular. The open world feels more open, and the combat is greatly improved with new features. The skill tress are better as well, and the voice actors are top tier.     Pros: Graphics, Traversal ( amazing ), Combat ( improved and satifying ), Progression system, Story ( even if some people didnt like some aspects is still a very good story ), side quests and overall open world things to do.

    Cons: its the same formula albeit improved of the same game ( which is in my view is a Pro but some don't care for more of the same ) , Some bugs and some areas were the game can slowdown and go into single digit frame rates ( very rarely in my case ), Map is filled with things which is a plus but it also can mean lots of side tracking ( which is also good ) but some people prefer more focus.    … Expand

    Same **** as last game and boring at least the first game is more fun. The Performance mode is broken. Horrific aliasing at 60 fps. The 30 fps mode is a stuttery mess. Lots of bugs and game crashes on PS5

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TL;DR: Beautiful graphics, moderate amount of bugs, had 1 crash, story and character development is still incredibly weak and not compelling. Arguably even weaker than the first game. :(

    1. Graphics - beautifully put together. Most of the time I feel like I was playing the game in a constant cutscene (playing in performance mode). The cutscenes are really good most of the time. The animations can be a bit janky at times and I have been seeing more pop-in than I'd like from time to time. I'd have to switch to framerate mode when getting into fights with machines or other enemies though because the game would stutter heavily. There are also parts of the map where the textures just simply wack out and flicker, but for the most part it's fairly decent.

    2. Bugs/Glitches: Encountered quite a few bugs/glitches so far. I even got stuck on the terrain at one point for a good couple minutes. One of the biggest problems I've seen is that in some of the machine fights, some of the machine AI just seems completely bugged out and just stands there while I'm shooting arrows at them. Happened quite a bit. Also a concern is every time I open the map and try to exit back to moving around in game, the game stutters and takes a couple seconds to exit the map. This is also how my game crashed, while I was exiting the map.

    3. Animations: for the most part the animations look pretty great. A lot of reused assets but that's not too much of a big deal for me. Unfortunately I did see a lot of stuttering in some areas with the animations, and there's also a lot of the "100 yard stare" syndrome with a lot of the NPCS. There were also some parts when fighting machines where the animations stutter or break sometimes. For the underwater portions, it's fun, but still needs a lot of work. It was pretty easy for the camera to get really wonky in some spots, especially tight spaces. Sometimes got kind of disorientating.

    4. Story: I have never skipped more cutscenes in a game than I have so far in Horizon Forbidden West. It pains me to say so but I am disappointed that the story feels so un-compelling and uninspired. Even the first game felt more compelling and exciting. I don't feel any emotional attachment to any of the characters. I wanted to see Aloy show more than just the one side that the game shows of her.

    When I played Ghost of Tsushima, the characters and stories were extremely well written. They had me laughing and crying and cheering them on while playing. I was sitting on the edge of my seat during cutscenes constantly. In Forbidden West, I just find myself feeling irritated and disappointed most of the time, skipping cutscenes just to get back to fighting machines and doing side quests.

    I am so tired of seeing Aloy treat everyone in the game around her like a nuisance, an obstacle, an irritation. We all know she had a rough upbringing but surely the writers could have made her a more rounded character. She's just too one-sided. There are a few moments where it seems like they attempt to give her more character but it kinda falls flat sadly. And don't get me started on Beta. 0_0 I can't help but wonder if they put that character in to make Aloy look better.

    5. Side quests: Pretty much a lot of them are really similar to the first games side quests. Kill machines in a certain way, collect items for crafters, follow tracks, etc. Haven't really encountered any side quests that seemed new or unique from the first game in any way.

    Anywho I recommend watching YongYea's review on youtube. I agree with a lot of what he has to say about the game.    … Expand

    Such a shame so many people review bomb it with rediculous of low score for no reason, they’ve clearly not played it and just want to hate on Sony for whatever reason.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm about 15 hrs in and I had to take a break. Game despite being visually beautiful start to play on my nerves.

    There is an option to play as an explorer which supposedly limits amount of pointers that are suppose to guide you to your destination. So far so good. Once you get to your destination thou, rather than having a time to explore and figure out location, you are being bombarded with Aloy's (or her companion) comments on what to do and how to do it. I get into ruins, 5 seconds later Aloy will tell you that maybe her focus will reveal more details (that's a good tip in tutorial, but one time is enough), but it's every time everywhere you go. You try to figure out how to get up there? You have 3 seconds, if not Aloy will tell you that you have to shoot the ladder with your bow. The hidden ladder that you haven't even had a chance to discover yet. Her chatter is constant over and over again the same things, My pockets are full but I'll keep this in my stash etc. It feels like Subnautica Below Zero again.
    Wish there was a option to turn off Retard Mode. It seriously feels like Devs came to conclusion that all the gamers suddenly lost 90% of brain power and need guidance like a 5 years old.

    Visually game is a stunning experience, I'm interested in photography and there's just no way to progress fast because photo mode is so amazing.

    I will give it 10/10 if devs fix the spoiler problem.    … Expand

Which means you spend too much time managing the inventory rather than combat.
    Zero Dawn was fun, because once you found the right way to take down a machine, you could blow through it easily. Up to this point, I found only the Bristleback followed this formula. Other fights kind of turns into a grind which is boring. The Ropecaster is supposed to be good on flight type enemies, but nope. It's not.
    The developers tried to put in too many new things. But they didn't need to. They just needed new enemy types with different ways to kill quickly. They should have kept everything else the same. The shieldwing shows exactly how the developer was just cramming things into the game without knowing what to do with it. They probably saw it in BoTW and thought it was cool, but they put it in without much verticality in most of the map. So I practically forgot that it existed.     I really enjoyed this sequel. It changes up the plot pacing and themes vs the first game to keep things fresh.

    The face modeling also stood out compared to the first game, where the models really looked like they were talking in this one.

    This game really doesn't fill in a ton of gaps from the first game, so you'll probably want to play the first.

    The game is really good, but the appearance of some NPCs is too bizarre and unpleasant.

    In particular, the description of Asians characters was so unpleasant that I thought it was racism.

    I don't normally ever post reviews but in the case of this masterpiece I think it's warranted, especially because others are review bombing this for no reason other than "this game is over hyped". Any review that is less than a 4 should not be taken seriously in my opinion.

    Game may be technically awesome on PS4 but on PS5 I'm really disappointed. For a game made exclusively on Sony consoles the PS5 can't reach a 4k 60fps.     Where part one felt alone and solitaire at times part 2 feels like you are actually building a team of friends.
    There is room for some quality of life improvements but those shouldn't even be mentioned.

    Comprei o jogo e a experiência com ele foi desagradável, meu PS5 esquentou muito e teve problemas na hora de carregar, além disso, teve muitos bugs durante o game e quase não deu para finalizar a campanha.     We live in an era of service games that are f2p, have unlimited play time, coop and/or pvp and ability to change/customise main character. This game have neither of those. And it add nothing to the 1st part of the franchise. If you want the same Horizon but with fat Aloy, then it's your game. But it's just a boring open world for most people.

    Excellent game, the graphics are just on top! The musical accompaniment is incredible, just like God of War 2018 and The Witcher 2015! One of the best games in the last couple of years.

    One of the best video game stories ever! Guerilla games has developed a world that is simply beautiful. Zero Dawn was awesome but this game takes it to another level. Everything from the animations to the weapons has been improved. PS5 really shows it’s shine here. The graphics and attention to detail is on a level that most games will pale in comparison.

    I'm nowhere near completion, but around 15 hours in and honestly, everything so far is top-notch. The characters feel way more real than they did in Zero Dawn, the side quests are better written and the gameplay is just phenomenal. All the negative ratings clearly haven't played the game. Even if you don't necessarily like it, it's a 6/10 at a bare minimum. Not for me though - easy 10. Love it.

    The bugs in this game make it nearly unplayable. Since release i have had 4 game breaking bugs where I had to restart and the graphics may be beautiful but the whole darkness flicker when you move the camera is distracting. Also her hair just clips through her body constantly which is distracting. Beautiful environment but super disappointed when the first quest is glitched out. Yikes!

    The quests are especially fun and build the story well. The fact that I can create a job around a side quest I want to complete is so nice!

    At first there were pop in here and there but 5 days later there's an update addressing these issues.This game is drop dead gorgeous, combat is so much better than HZD. Devs take notice how to quickly address issues instead of us playing the waiting game the 10 is for the the haters as well I'm about 20 hrs in. While i give horizon zero down 9.5/10, due to repetition of a few things like plants collection and hunting (both felt boring), i gave this 9/10 (finally I can agree with IGN after TLOU2), not amounting to the bugs I encountered during the game, which willExcellent game with a heartfelt story.     Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
