Bad game it really annoys me how Aloy tells me all the time what to do (or what I can do): "I can climb that wall", "I should scan the enemies to find out their weakness", "I can shoot that thing with an arrow", "I need to get rid of the enemies" etc

She just always explains everything, even the most obvious stuff. Just let me play that game on my own, I don't need that handholding

Side quests same as always talk to someone go to this place, kill these enemies, talk to this guy and repeat. Story was kinda good but we didnt accomplish our objektive after obtaining GAIA which was to capture Hephaestus. Old humans surviving and living 1000 years and coming back to hunt us? Their collective mind sending a signal to destroy earth like what? Collecting old world relics and black boxes was pointless and annoying. Training grounds were same old same old. Developer should think something new for next game and not this witcher coping. Expand

Simply put this game improves on the original in every way.
From the visuals, to the combat, traversal options, variety and density of biomes, side quests and quests in general really.
Absolutely fantastic and the best looking game made to date. Seeing as it's cross gen we are absolutely in for an amazing generation.

HZW just isn't as good as HZD. All of the missions and combat just feel disjointed. Just like 99% of games today; this should of baked in the oven longer. I am so tired of Aloy saying the same lines over and over again.

Great graphics and great fighting mechs, thats it. Horrible story, over the top bad guys, laughtble writing. Bloated weapons wheel, too many repeated types of arrows. Unbalenced weapons and equipment upgreads, you can visit many cities that sells horrible new ones, only used 2 diferent armors during all game.

As a huge fan of the original game i was disappointed with this outing. Forbidden west is an impressive looking sequel to the original game with some nicely upgraded visuals on ps5 and a long main story quest.

Unfortunately the storyline wasn't as engaging for me this time around with much of the subtlety of the worlds mystique and danger left to the wayside in favor of a needlessly woke cast of mostly attractive skinny female quest givers with cheerful outlooks in a world supposedly filled with starvation and lethal machines at every turn.

Sadly the core tight action adventure combat of the original hasn't evolved enough here and instead just feels like they slapped a bunch of new weapons and ammos together which now makes what worked in the original needlessly complex. The machines now go into extreme aggro mode when ther player is detected and they fly towards you almost instantly with little to telegraph their actions causing a stun block / dodge/slomo aim/loop. VERY FRUSTRATING. On top of this there are now multiples of very similar weapons in each class with some now quite odd choices of ammo hard locked into the weapons so i found it hard to truly zone into a loadout that ever felt right.

Of whats new theres nnow some bloated open world nonsense going on here that is really just filler and further detracts from what could've been a tighter overall experience. Thankfully most of what i didnt enjoy could be easily skipped or avoided with an excellent accessibility options menu where you can just stick dynamic hud on, dial down the combat difficulty to story and just mainline the story quests (if you want!). You can even adjust the looting so that you always automatically collect the rarer machine parts from each kill which saves alot of time. Sadly the platforming mechanics are still quite terrible with weird 'lock in' animations and it just feels weighty and cumbersome - certainly not next gen in any way with lots of moments of aloy clipping through the scenery taking away any tension or real feeling of having physical control over the character.

The game was originally marketed as a ps5 title before the shift towards cross gen releases by sony and i really felt that hurt this title. Im certain by going ps5 at the development stage, some of the animations, level and character design and perhaps even combat design could've been more advanced and more on a par with something like ratchet and clank and although at times it is still quite impressive to look at its still not quite on the level of next gen tech i could've hoped for after the wait.

Bit of a weird aside but i noticed in this title Aloy talks ALOT about absolutely everything happening at all times which is quite odd! Despite having blitzed the main quests skipping most if not all side activities and side quests my playtime was 35hrs! The game feels ovveripe with content. Still I had my fun and traded it in but I left feeling affirmed that guerilla really did just get lucky with the hit game HZD!

-The story seems intriguing so far, tackling the big questions left from the first one, with unexpected answers. Some reviewers on here will tell you it's boring or unoriginal, but honestly, I'm curious what constitutes original for some of these people. It's a post-apocalyptic world with machine creatures and futuristic tech left behind. That right there is already interesting, and it's scratching the surface. My point is, if you liked the plot of the first game, you'll like this one just as much or more.
-Graphics here are just eye-wateringly beautiful if you have the right hardware. I got an LGCX tv last year, as well as a PS5, and this game rivals TLOU2 in terms of graphic detail, but with a much more colorful palate. There may be some glitches or weird things going on sometimes, but I'm not going to dock it points for something a patch can fix in a week. It's not enough to make me not enjoy it. The character models look much more realistic this time too.
-Gameplay is wonderful. So the first game already had so many gadgets and weapons for you to use in whatever combination you saw fit. This beefs it up even further, adding more of each, adding more elements machines can be weak or strong vs, and adding more options for your weapons, not to mention the new abilities Aloy has. Traversal is more fun than ever with more mounts, more ways to climb and descend, and interesting new tools for interacting with the environment. It builds very well on what the first game did.
-I'm enjoying this game very much so far. You can't go 100 steps without running into something. Seriously, I get to a fire checkpoint and I'm near like 4 or 5 question marks all the time. Is it a ruin? Hunting ground? Rebel camp? Blocked path I just got a tool to unblock and loot? Even if it's a herd of machines, there's always things to upgrade that need parts from those machines. And the world is never a chore to explore. Between the old world remnants and the new world, the world itself makes you want to walk around and just look at stuff.
-Bottom line: don't let the negative reviews on here dissuade you. If you enjoyed the first game, this really does improve on that in basically every aspect. There are tons of weapons, things to do, more machines than ever, and just more of the Horizon you enjoy. The glitches will be gone before you know it.

The story IS VER, VERY BAD. It is almost cartoonesche. It forces situations, and it seems like all men in the world are now incompetent and all women can do something right - you see, I want balance, equality. And it is not so discrete as in first one, but a constant slap in the face.
Combat feels just off, you don't make much damage with melee and arrows, but the javelin does a lot, so why bother with the other ones?
Those issues really make this a worse experience than the original, when you take the whole package, not only the new shiny graphics.

Flying is freaking awesome, well done on that one. Pretty big map as well which keeps the game very interesting. The skills system let you customize your play style which is very cool. Con's: A lot of bugs in the game, movement wise and with the visual animations for the resonator. Movement can be very tight. Camera FOV or a wider angle is needed in this game desperately. On the story: Every male in this game either needs to be saved by a woman or was saved by one(meaning in game characters, not Aloy). The story is basically a girl power flick. I also really dislike the whole "don't get the good armor until you've beaten the game twice" setup. I was hoping they didn't do that again like the first game. Expand

The harsh reviews posted are completely ridicilous and inaccurate lol. Ignore them. This game really is Sony's Zelda Breath of the Wild. Better than part 1 in every way and I loved that game.

My only criticism of this game is I do wish they figured out a lock on system for combat so that the dodging would be better but it is not a deal breaker or anything.

Speaking of the combat, it is horrific, highly janky and situational, full of cheap one-hit kills, and you will end up running in circles rolling like a lunatic as you avoid giant machines that will inevitably gangbang you into a stunlock where you can't get away. You can sum up the combat as "run in a circle while dodging and try not to get stunlocked as you take a shot with slo-mo every 5 seconds". I have almost rage-quit this game multiple times, and i never do this. Overall an overrated B-movie that was hyped to the moon and back. I played on a PS5 with resolution mode on. I reached the level cap of 50. I did not fully enhance all of my gear. I focused on Infiltrator and Hunter in Aloy's skill tree then spent excess skill points across all others.

I had high hopes for this following New Dawn and I can't truly say I was disappointed but when I got past the stunning graphics (minor glitches forgiven) and complex storyline the additional complexity of the game mechanics forcing one back to older areas because it takes a future obtained item to be able to get past an obstruction was frustrating. The lack of ability to climb (being forced to use identifiable designed pathways) was often frustrating.

The realisation that choices that felt like they should have been significant had little bearing on the actual game outcomes was a disappointment although a few that produced world cosmetic changes were good.

The huge number of conversation choices, particularly with companions, became frustrating instead of informative.

The "completionist" objectives were gratuitously excessive.

The ridiculous twitch mechanics parkour profoundly frustrating. The complexity of ruins puzzles unnecessarily high.

Some combat encounters in quests not progressing as they should have (probably bugs that will eventually be fixed) a huge time waster.

I thought I would be annoyed by most of the best "gear" being hidden behind arenas irrelevant to the story but I completed without.

I don't think I have been so frustrated in a game that I have also enjoyed enough to simply skip the frustrating parts to complete the game.

    The bad:
It has many Pop-Up errors (even with the corrective patch), they abuse the fog effect to hide this sudden appearance of things. The mist effect is even carried into the water. The drawing distance is painful a few steps away from seeing well but as you try to see one further the background blurs. The programming tricks to hide shortcomings are very noticeable, the Alloy character is a render superimposed on a pre-rendered background (like Donkey Kong from the SNES or FFVII from PSX) for this reason there is no visual contact between characters and it is seen that the characters they skate on the stage or move like sprites (like Paper Mario) on a 3D background. The character, being a Sprite, does not correspond to the animations of hair loss or movements of the accessories or necklaces, making them look very fake. The character, being a Sprite, does not have believable lighting even against the light, Alloy's face is bright and shiny, the character is not there, it is a very cheap trick. The plants move so much that it seems that they are dancing, but nothing else moves, not even the houses, the fabric sails, the accessories and plumes. The story is very generic and the missions, these are generic. Yes, Alloy has a hook but of so many characters that have one it already looks like a bad skin of Nate Spencer (Bionic Commando), Rico Rodriguez (Just Cause) or Master Chief (Halo Infinite)

    Lo Meh:
The Forbidden Horizon West is sooo polluted with a lot of smoke, fog and dust… They were told, that the Horizon Forbidden West Preview Promo Video was a CGI movie not a game, but no one wanted to believe it.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Horizon 1 vs Horizon 2 differences

H1 - Post apocalyptic world full of brutal tribes and characters who clearly live in a harsh world
H2 - Everyone is upbeat. Voice actors for the Tenakth which EVERYONE seems to fear, talk like anyone you'd meet in any US city. You'd expect them to be like Klingons or something, but no.

H1 - Diverse without shoving it down your throat, races, women warriors, etc
H2 - Game has multiple "Furiosa" antagonists. The "Sons" of Prometheus are something like 70% women, also led by a woman. toughest warrior in the land? An old lady. Leaders of the "Sons"? A woman. Leader of the Tenakth rebels? Woman. Some scenes in the game clearly were designed by committee: "ok, we need 50% women, 50% minorities".

H1 - Aloy is a complex protagonist you can relate to, caring, kind, a true paragon
H2 - Aloy is a bloodthirsty b33y@tch who says multiple times she's going to MURDER the bad guy.

It genuinely feels like 3/4 of any quest giver I meet is a woman. Poorly written character, super upbeat and "current day". All this in a post apocalyptic world.

How could they nail down the tone so well in H1, but screw it up so bad in H2.

This is what happens with forced diversity. Every. Single. Time.

Did the creators of the game really understand what they were doing when they have you constantly take out 3/4 of all hostile NPCs who are skinny bald women.

H2 clearly throws the tone it set in H1 out the window because some progressive studio manager handed out checkbox and demanded every part of the game conform to it.

Oh, you want a review as well? Ok, here you go:

    Pros:
    - Looks very pretty

    Cons:
    - More bugs than a Ubisoft game, map markers not updating after clearing/collecting things, even fell through the map
    - Janky climbing
    - Combat system is a joke. Enemies give NO telegraph for their movements, no way to prepare to counter them, just dodge like crazy and hope to land a hit first. No way to lock on either.
    - Gliding SUCKS, you'd think it would have the same velocity as BOTW, but no, it barely moves forward.
    - Some locations can only be reached by doing the aforementioned janky climbing and jumping, hoping to not fall off the steep mountain side.
    - Some cringe moments with the story, rips off Superman with these Kryptonion type faction that is super powerful and stuff. Btw, the main enemy of the game is a bunch of elites corporates who have been alive since the Fall. They are comically evil, but hey, gotta score those WOKE points, right?

Forbidden West is a PS5 exclusive on par with Ratchet and Clank. It’s a joy to play, and is for everyone. Only thing some may not like is that 30fps/Quality mode is the best way to play. I okay on an Oled, and find the motion blur acceptable. They did a very good job at a 30fps target. You can turn on accessibility options if you want, or take the difficulty down. It’s a give it take running at full fidelity. But wow!!!! Is it worth it for this game. The performance mode is just not doing it favors. But that aside I think this game is a 9, and as long as 30fps is not a deal breaker…buy it! I have 7hrs in Elden Ring and I’m still coming back to play! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love this game so much, I love the story and the design. However there are a few things I don’t like. I feel like this game was suppose to teach Aloy that she sometimes does need help, but it didn’t show it enough. Aloy may be a clone, but before she even knew about Elizabeth she wanted to be accepted and now that she knows she’s Elizabeth clone it feels like she’s not thinking for herself. Also Erend was a fan favorite of the first game, many wanting her and him to be together in some fashion, but in this game? Aloy is cold towards him with every response and constantly being mean about him being “dumb” and it felt like they made his character dumber as well. I just don’t understand where they’re taking aloys character? I hope that in future games they’ll let aloy grow because I don’t feel she grew enough in this one. I know romance so far isn’t present in the game but I’d think it be cool if in the third we were given the option kinda like how dragon age or mass effect is, where she could be with a guy, or a girl or just herself but I think it’s be awesome for fans to have a bit more say when selecting her dialogue. My complaint is really just a small part of the game which is why I still give it an 8 because the story itself was amazing. Expand

Since Zero Dawn is one of my all time favourite games I really hate to have to say this, but the fact is that it's the truth.

I am not enjoying Horizon Forbidden West.

First the good stuff, of which there is a lot. The world is vibrant and beautiful and feels much more alive than Zero Dawn which I'm using as comparison. I'm also saying that while Zero Dawn boasts one of the best open worlds ever. The colors pop, the animals are roaring and the settlements are brimming with activity. The environment is much more diverse and I do love the storms that regularly rage over you as a stark reminder of the toubles you are facing. The including of underwater exploration adds a lot of extra depth to the open world aspect, pun intended. The story is also fantastic and engaging. It feels connected to previous events while creating some new concepts and expanding on small details from Zero Dawn that people may not have thought much of at the time. There is much more team based stuff to do with our familiar side characters getting more action and screen time. Previous gameplay aspects like Cauldrons and Tallnecks offer a fresh approach to what could have been more of the same. We also get to explore new tribes and locations only seen by mention in the previous game. All of the above is why this game still gets 4 stars despite my own personal experiences. So here is the bad, and it's a big one. The main selling point of Zero Dawn. Machine Combat, was dynamic and strategic. It was fun to scan machines, figure our their weaknesses and slowly whittle them down and beat them and harvest their resources. In Horizon Forbidden West combat has gone from strategic to COMPLETELY INSANE. If Zero Dawn is Strategic Forbidden West is Chaotic. Now I am far removed from a pro gamer. So after completing Zero Dawn on Hard I start Forbidden West on Medium. Come to the first Machine, the Watcher of Forbidden West, the Burrower. First one, Silent Strike easy does it. Second one spots me and provides a HUGE rude awakening to Forbidden Wests new style of machine Combat.

Eventually I dialed the difficulty down to a mix of Easy and Story thanks to the new Custom Difficulty. As I progress the machines only get tougher. The equivalent of a Lancehorn,  a Fanghorn can charge you with its antlers set on fire, reducing your vision, damaging you and causing fire damage. This machine can also launch projectile fire bombs, pounce at you from distance and attack with a number of Melee attacks. This is an entry level enemy. My experience with a Shellsnapper will tell you how much of my Forbidden West combat goes. Scan it unseen, check for its weak spot. So far so good. Get a few shots in. It's health bar doesn't move. I'm playing on Easy BTW. It spews ice balls at me. I dodge. They knock me down anyway. Now I am frozen. Now the machine, who is the size of a house lunges at me from further away than a Sawtooth can! Knocks me down again even during a roll dodge, which apparently doesn't shield you from harm anymore. So I turn to try and shoot another arrow, because Melee is suicide. Before I can even draw my bow it tail whips me, then explodes some kind of fire shield outwards knocking me down for the 400th time. Are you seeing a pattern forming? So I put my average brain to work and try and circle behind him. Turns out he has rear mounted canons that have a faster fire rate than you. If they shoot and stumble you, before you can recover, aim and draw your fastest bow it's canon has already shot a second time. So I start using acid arrows. Takes about 12. A few very low ticks of damage show, but it's armor remains. So I try for a second time. As its about to get corroded again thee thing digs underground. So silly me thinking it was a hiding mechanism. It pops it's head up, with most of its body still covered underground safe from acid arrows and blasts me with even more Ice bombs. Then it vanishes again and in one movement jumps out of the ground, breaks the world long jump record and lands on my head. I'm knocked down again. Yaaaay! Long story shot combat has become a mess of button mashing, aiming at anything you can while trying hopelessly not to get knocked down every 5 seconds. It feels like it takes forever for Aloy to get back up too. The machines patterns are too irratic to simply figure out a pattern of attack. They all move too quickly, attack faster than you, AND in packs and just all round make exploring the open world and farming for resources feel less fun and more of a chore.

In Zero Dawn you spot a herd of machines and wonder how your going to take them all down.

In Forbidden West you spot a herd of machines and wish you could avoid them.

If Zero Dawn's combat is rated as a 10/10 then Forbidden West takes combat all the way to 1000/10. Pros must be loving the challenge. But us regular folk, the mere mortals of the world won't enjoy spending most of a fight knocked down, dodging or running.

Improved pretty much every aspect from the first, combat never gets boring, it's a beautiful game, but it's not a perfect game, I'd say it's an 8.5/10, I haven't experienced any bugs or anything that other people are talking about, I've had a couple small things but nothing major. You can tell the developers lean a certain way politically, but it's not in your face at all like TLOU2 is, so I can respect it, it's so not in your face you'd have to kind of look for it to get upset about it. A couple real issues I have are I really wish there was a system where we can swap the stats on certain outfits, because there's some really ugly armor in this game. Hunting animals in the game is lackluster as well, there isn't anything strategic or fun about it, but it's required for upgrading. You just turn on your focus, hope an animal you need is nearby, and shoot it once. It's tedious grinding, I don't expect red dead 2 level of hunting, but it definitely needs something more, like depending where you shoot it and type of arrow depends on what kind of material you get, something like that, small addition to make hunting a little more strategic and fun. Otherwise, side quests are FAR better, settlements, exploration, combat, everything else is massively improved upon from the first game, and is an absolute blast to play. Definitely a must play for any playstation player. One additional thing I find to be the biggest let down is Aloy, she's very one-dimensional, it's hard to get invested in her character. You know how she's going to react and respond no matter what happens. Expand

I am absorbed in it all this go round and the never ending conversations don't grate on my patience like they did in Zero Dawn; it must be the top-notch animations and character visuals because the story itself is just as convoluted and filled to the brim with information I don't really care about. I don't know, I didn't create the character, but what I loved about her in ZD was that she really needs to discover herself just as much as she needs to discover the world that she is a part of. Her discovery was relatable as Aloy and the player could learn about themselves together.

I would also love to see a new game plus option on the horizon. [On proof reading, I just realized the pun here, so forgive the cheesy pun, but I kindof love it, so it is staying... ]

Also, just a matter of personal preference, the combat was a bit over complicated, but I understand some people would love it like that.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is not for everyone. It will appeal, most likely, mainly to those who enjoy exploring a good open world and **** robots. And that's why.
The story has a really good idea, but only an idea. The plot reminds me of some anime, where you first assemble yourself an "infinity gauntlet" and a team of "party members", and then you go to fill the faces of enemies. The main problem with storytelling is dialogues and monologues. It's so monotonous, so boring that I can't talk about it properly... Absolutely no player participation, no one to compare myself with. The main character can be summed up in one word - annoying. You absolutely do not care about everyone and everything!
Phew, okay. It was one of the most important narrative parts of the game, but the developers screwed everything up. Well, the Setting, as it was chic, remained so, at least in my opinion. The world is very good compared to "Horizon: Zero Dawn", it now has something to do so as not to get bored with the story.
Another problem with "Horizon: Forbidden West" is the technical part of the game. Next-gen graphics are available on PS5 in 4K resolution and 30 FPS. 30 FPS Carl! We'll have to wait for the release on the PC, and maybe not have to ... Hmm. The game has bugs, and not a few. Sometimes they ruin the gameplay and immersion. For example, sometimes turning off AI for opponents, especially bosses. And also getting stuck in textures, not working the grip for the ledges during parkour.
But overall, even in performance mode the game looks ok. Although, who the hell knows. The developers simply could not bring the game to a playable state, so they decided to release it on PS4. Or they deliberately decided not to make a particularly big breakthrough in graphics and therefore released the game on PS4. Who knows.
My verdict is 7/10. Thank you for a great time and beautiful views!

Unfortunately, the game doesn't really address many of its predecessor's biggest shortcomings. Movement still isn't fun and lacks immediacy, for example. They stole BotW's sail cloth and called it Shieldwing, but it loses altitude way too fast to be a viable method of traversal. Likewise, the climbing (and swimming) mechanics still feel incredibly clunky and WAY too restrictive for a game that calls itself "Open World". Like, hey, why can't I climb up this mountain that looks exactly like this other one that I _can_ climb? Simple: The developers just don't want you to. Same goes for the grappling hook: It can only be used on points that are clearly marked and, as such, the mechanic doesn't reach anywhere near its full potential. Mount controls are pure jank, as well. You also still have to come to a complete stand-still to pick up even the most insignificant resources and you have to focus-scan your environment approximately every two seconds.

The game is very difficult and does a bad job of explaining all the different weapon types and their uses. The first game had neat little previews for what each weapon does and how you best use it, where did those go? FW is also very slow to hand out useful weapons, like maybe a bow that fires Shock arrows, despite you encountering machines with Spark weak points very early on. Open combat with more than one machine is also still an absolute mess where you either try to hit a weak spot by sheer luck or just run away. Keeping track of all the different machine type weaknesses and parts is pretty much impossible without constantly referring back to your focus or notebook (fun!).

The story, which is focused more on plot than on lore reveals this time, still unfolds mostly through giant exposition dumps where you get blasted with dialogue for like 15 minutes straight, and is horribly bloated because modern Open World games apparently need to be at least 30 hours long or something. Most of it isn't even about the actually interesting sci-fi parts, but about how this particular tribe organizes their society, what their religious customs are, what they eat for breakfast, how they do their laundry etc. etc.

They tried to make Aloy more interesting this time by focusing on her flaws a bit more, and it works to a certain (limited) extent, but she's still a pretty robotic character overall (same goes for all the other people in the game tbh). I also find Burch's performance to be pretty weak. She just sounds like she's constantly out of breath for some reason. Facial animations are generally better than in HZD, but still look pretty weird sometimes, like in the game's opening sequence.

There's also a general sense of bugginess, you never know if things are going to work out the way you want. I straight up fell through a bridge once, another time, I took damage every 0.5 seconds, despite nobody even having a clear shot at me. Not exactly a good look for AAA First-Party title.

The graphics are probably the highlight of the game, although there's quite a bit of pop-in and animations look pretty janky in performance mode, like they were made exclusively with 30 FPs in mind and then just sped up for 60.

More work went into the side-quests this time, but it really only adds to the general feeling of bloat and overwhelm IMO. And, at the end of the day, these are really still just more elaborate ways of telling the player to "Go over here and kill these machines".

Speaking of bloat and overwhelm, the five different skill trees, each with branching parts and different valor surges, seem like complete overkill. Good luck trying to figure out where to best invest your points without a guide on your first playthrough.

So, the game looks amazing, it is very cinematic, and there is a s**t-ton of content in a giant Open World. That's what the developers seem to have focused on and what audiences seem to respond to nowadays, because, on a fundamental gameplay and story level, not much has actually changed, and mechanically, the game still lags behind BotW considerably, which is five years old at this point.

Not a 10/10 for me. But a 9/10. After around 25 hours the game gets better and bigger. The humor in this game actually works most of the time. And that is pretty remarkable. Side-quests, Exploration, Combat, riddles and lvl progression work really well.

lolz at those reviewbombtards ;) Cant believe some people bomb this because of Aloy beeing a woman (its 2022, wake up). Maybe try Goat Simulator instead. Might be more your "thing".

It looks incredible, the scenery is captivating, colours are powerful and vibrant, the atmosphere is so alive and the environment just really pulls you into a beautiful rendition of a post-apocalyptic, over-grown world. The story leads on immediately from Zero Dawn in a great way, and I am looking forward to seeing what the story will uncover next! There looks to be an abundance of side-quests and other missions/tasks, as well as customisations and options for multiple styles of play!
Definitely worth a pickup for any RPG fan, but especially for fans of the first game!

I can't stress enough how amazing this game is! The attention to details and the story is absolutely incredible. I have easily lost myself in this world and I can definitely see myself 100% completing the game. I can't recommend this game enough!

Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
