O jogo é incrível, muita história envolvente e a DLC apenas complementou o enredo, o boss fight final foi tão bom quando a luta no primeiro jogo.

The storytelling, design and actual gameplay are all amazing, and this DLC is no different. It’s also nice to see a female lead that is wearing clothing and gear that would actually protect them in a fight!

As for the ending (no spoilers here), I find it funny that some were shocked - and disappointing that some are irrationally angry over it. I thought we might’ve seen that a while ago, but either way it was such a minuscule part of the overall world and game that it barely is worth mentioning.

A great addition to an already great game. This series continues to develop stories and a world that feels so incredibly real and deep. Ignore all of the hate you read, Aloy is a phenomenal character who is paired up with a fantastic new character in Seyka, and I hope we get to see their story together continue in a future game!

This DLC was amazing although it was rather short if you really wanted to you could finish the main quest line in under 3 hours. everything else like the new skills, characters, machines, and other miscellaneous stuff was great. its a little disheartening that just because of a dialogue option at the end of the story made this game get review bombed. I personally think that the content was 9/10 but the length of the DLC was 4/10 at best but quality over quantity in my opinion. Expand

Good DLC. I thought it was priced very well and enjoyed the story. There were a few areas of the map that felt oddly empty, and I would have liked a couple more ruin puzzles to solve and side quests. Overall, it was more Horizon, and that's never a bad thing.

This DLC has hands down one of the most epic boss fights in any game I’ve played! It’s also nice to see returning characters and new faces as well.

There were multiple parts of this DLC that were moving (the return of a certain side character from the first game was a welcome surprise!), but there was a certain bittersweetness around hearing Lance Reddick perform as Sylens one last time.

I get that people are annoyed about Aloy being gay, I get that you're all butt-hurt she's not being put with any of the male characters. You have a choice to turn Seyka down! You don't have to have Aloy be with her, if you want to live in your glass house, fantasy land where Aloy is straight as the arrows she fires, then go ahead! But stop your whining about it. Rate the game for game play and story and keep your hate to yourself. Do you see any of us going to games with heterosexual couples and throwing the same hate speech to them? Grow up people. And in case you all get even more butt hurt over this, there has been hints throughout both games, you just chose to ignore them. Expand

The playthrough time is shorter than Frozen Wild, but still challenging and enjoyable. The boss fight is epic. For those surprised or upset to find that Aloy has lesbian tendencies, well, she's a clone of Elizabet, who was a lesbian with Tilda. To me, this is the natural arc of the story and doesn't diminish the game in any way. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Burning shores is an outstanding DLC. The story is fantastic and the boss is so satisfying and immense. More so than the actual ending of Forbidden West. To fight the long-feared and anticipated metal devil in a multi-step intense battle was more than I could've hoped for.

The antagonist Londra is perfectly portrayed and you are geared to hate him throughout the story making the ending satisfying. But my real love for this DLC lies in the love blossoming between Seyka and Aloy. Seyka is an amazing new character and she has quickly become one of my favourite female characters, not just in the Horizon franchise. She has similarities to Aloy in that she is head strong, capable and a **** badass. They have similar life experiences and bond over that and the journey they take. They cast Seyka perfectly and I could not pick a better love interest for Aloy.

We've seen Aloy grow and adapt throughout Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. Aloy shows she struggles with the bonds she's made with her found-family. Struggling to let them in, incase they get hurt during her quest. Aloy seems to have the same feelings with Seyka as her fondness and admiration grows for her. She shows her wariness in her new feelings and her vulnerability when going to meet Seyka at the end. In buying the DLC I was hyped for the teased metal devil and the epic fight. But found so much more in this sweet love story and the ending only seem right that Aloy admit her feelings giving us a satisfying end in seeing Seyka feels the same. Being pansexual this scene was so emotional for me. I was so excited throughout the DLC as I saw their feelings develop. LGBTQ+ stories like this are so important and have so much meaning to people like myself. This representation is perfect. Also, I'm probably biased but I feel that Aloy may also be pan. She doesn't seem to have any specific orientation (although this is her first romantic experience). But she seems like she loves people for all their differences and has found something special in the character of Seyka. Not just because she is a woman but, most importantly, because she is an incredible person. Again this is just my take, or maybe how I feel connected to the story and the characters. Aloy doesn't need to be labelled but it's important that I and many others feel seen. Thank you to everyone involved in creating this DLC and the entire Horizon Franchise.
    Thanks for reading, kisses

Also homophobia reigns here, but **** em all

We get more of the beautiful world we saw in Forbidden West, a continuation of the story we left off at, and can I just say that I love the new Zenith weapon that allows you to blast enemies with powerful homing munitions with ammunition that's easy to make.

The elephant in the room is Aloy's sexuality with Seyka but it's so tastefully done, allowing the player agency in how to proceed with that relationship. There's nothing to get upset about. Great game, glad I bought it, I keep returning to it to explore more of this world and do more side quests, and I can't wait for more.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores provides a decent chunk of new content to the base game, adding a little bit of everything to the already expansive sequel. While Burning Shores possesses its own draws and identity, it also mirrors the previous game’s expansion—The Frozen Wilds, in many ways.

Similar to The Frozen Wilds, this expansion adds:
    -- A level cap increase from 50 to 60
-- A sizeable new region to explore with a distinct theme (volcanic archipelago)
-- A handful of main quests and side quests, with a focus on one of the tribes from the base game
-- Multiple new skills and valor surges (two skills and one valor surge per skill tree)
-- An expansion of Aloy’s spear capabilities and new techniques (including new tools)
-- A couple new enemy types (with apex variants for two of the machines)
-- Additional machine sites for some of the best enemies from the base game
-- A new cauldron to override, along with a couple other returning activities and arena challenges
-- A few new collectibles and many new data points
-- A handful of new outfits and several new weapons, coils, and weaves (all have legendary rarity)
-- A new resource type (for trade and upgrades)

Following the conclusion of Horizon Forbidden West, this expansion sees Aloy travel to the titular Burning Shores, where a new threat awaits. Along the way, the expansion introduces some new characters and companions, while setting the stage for the next chapter of the series.

    The Pros:
-- The map has a distinct look and feel overall, offering an added focus on using both the skies and the sea.
-- The number of added activities and collectibles is not overwhelming, but rather feels like the right amount for an expansion of this size
-- While there is only a handful of quests, each one is memorable and offers a worthwhile reward.
-- The primary draw of this expansion—an epic battle against a reactivated Horus/Metal Devil—lives up to the expectation and takes advantage of the power of the PlayStation 5, while offering a glimpse into what the future of the series may be able to offer.
-- Most of the new skills and valor surges are useful and offer additional variety to the combat.
-- There is a surprisingly large amount of legendary weapons, coils, and weaves in the expansion, these are all welcome additions, especially the coils and weaves.
-- Upgrades for the new outfits and weapons also have more feasible requirements, with more variety to what parts are needed, and most of which are located on the new map (no fireclaw sac webbing, slaughterspine circulators, stormbird storm cannons, or slitherfang earthgrinders are needed).
-- The new cauldron is expansive, and like the cauldrons from the base game, it offers its own unique exploration challenge
-- The primary new machine and its respective apex variant are both exciting opponents and a welcome addition to the already impressive enemy roster
-- The expansion uses certain machines in some rather surprising and refreshing encounters throughout the map

    The Cons:
-- While I would say this is only a minor critique, the use of the Los Angeles setting could have been taken better advantage of with more recognizable locations and unique setpieces
-- There is no Tallneck machine to override, and the map is simply unfogged using normal traversal
-- The functionality of the new Waterwing machine could have been used to better effect, either as just an upgrade to the existing Sunwing, or perhaps turned into a completely original machine with expanded incentive to explore underwater (maybe a submarine of some sort, used to explore underwater relic ruins or hunt Tiderippers)
-- The inclusion of the new skiff vehicle and geysers are nice additions, but feel mostly unnecessary other than used for specific circumstances
-- The new resource, brimshine, is overused for anything concerning the new legendary gear (outfit and weapon upgrades, and trading for coils and weaves)

Burning Shores offers more of what made Horizon Forbidden West successful, while also providing some new opportunities to refresh the gameplay. Although there are a few things that could have been developed further, this expansion boasts a solid helping of content that is worth checking out after completing the base game. For any interested returning players or newcomers, I recommend picking this up with the base game for the complete Forbidden West experience.

I love the little details this game has. You can go back to the Forbidden West area and have small interactions with existing characters. The game presents more opportunities to use your flying mount like a new type of collectable called Areal Capture.

A fun (though somewhat short) return to the Horizon world. Pleasantly surprised how relatively small tweaks to gameplay kept combat and puzzles feeling fresh, especially after playing both games through multiple times. And the final battle was heart pounding fun!

The story felt like a logical progression, both in the action and the emotional beats. Very highly recommended!

I enjoyed the dlc very very much. Aloy having a clear romantic connection in the dlc did not take away anything that I loved about the franchise, in fact it added to it since in my eyes it brought out a side of Aloy that she very rarely let out. The 1st time that Aloy arrived in the Burning Shores, I needed to pause everything in awe of how beautiful the setting is. Figuring out how to destroy the new machines was as fun as it was when I played HZD for the 1st time. The new skills that they added with the dlc are absolutely badass!!! I didn't mind that it was a bit short, being able to spend just another minute in the world of horizon and sharing in Aloy's story is worth it. I didn't need it to go a certain way because it was not my story, its Aloy's and being able to partake in her story is what I fell in love with when I first played the Horizon series. Expand

Unparalleled visuals, animations and voice performances and soundtrack is beautiful. New additions all rounds - weapons, outfits, ways to travel, machines etc. kept gameplay fun. Great continuation in in the Horizon story and amazing boss fight. Aloy character growth is endearing to see and Seyka is great!

Like Forbidden West on its own, this DLC was unfortunately a disappointment for me.
It doesn't really add anything interesting, it is just "more of the same." If you just want more "Forbidden West", then this DLC is for you. If you instead want an interesting story and fun quests, you should skip this one.

The story is paper thin and brings nothing fresh or exciting to the table. I just couldn't take it seriously.
Furthermore, the platforming sections are clunky to say the least. In some parts it felt like the climbing mechanics got worse.
The visuals and set pieces are great, though.

If I had to describe this DLC in three words, they would be: short, shallow, superfluous.

If you've already played the base game of Horizon Forbidden West then you'll already know just how good the game is graphically at least, it's not perfect in other areas but it's easily one of the most visually stunning games ever made. This DLC may be pretty much more of the same but given how good the game is that's not a bad thing. Graphically it's managed to even improve over the base game thanks to it being PS5 only, and the result is easily the most impressive looking game to date on any system. It's not particularly long but the map is quite large for a DLC with some of the most stunning locations you'll ever likely to see in a game. A lot of the issues from the first game persist however such as awkward controls while climbing, foliage obscuring vision when exploring our fighting etc, we also get to learn a bit more about a Aloy on a personal level which is bound to split the fanbase. There's a lot of 'strong female leads' in this DLC which seems to be a reoccurring theme with PlayStation at the moment, like many I find this constant 'girl power' theme to be a little bit tedious and I hope PlayStation can level things out future games going forward. On a sudden notes we get to see and to say goodbye to the hugely talented and sadly missed Lance Reddick. I'd say that this is a must play if you are already a fan of the series but it's far from perfect. At the very least it's a glimpse into what the PS5 is capable of, and in that regard the future is very bright indeed. 7/10

It's more Horizon, if you like Horizon you'll like this. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's fun. Also are people really surprised that there's a gay kiss in the game then you clearly didn't pay attention to the first 2 full games. There are gay people everywhere, is this really the last straw? You can choose not to let them kiss, isn't that what everyone wants freedom of choice?

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Overall, I have mixed views on this expansion as I'm not sure what Geurrialla was trying to do - it's almost like they had to do something to show off the PS5 and this is what they came up with. It could have easily been included in Forbidden West but they chose instead to do it this way. So, if you want more, albeit a bit harder (as most machines you encounter are Apex varieties) then this is the expanison for you.
However, I feel it is necessary to address the "elephant in the room" - namely the ending, as I think people are making too much out of it. Those who have played the Horizon games, then you will be familiar with the way the game handles NPC interaction - it's either a way for the player to gather more information from an NPC ot, as in instance, for the player to have Aloy respond to an NPC in one of three ways - insight, confront or emotional - none of which has any impact on the way the game actually plays out. So, no matter what option you choose at the end of Burning Shores, all it does is change the cut-scene that you see - this is why it's put at the end. IMHO it was put there for one reason only - to see what sort of reaction it generated from the players (it's not like it's the first time - Last of Us Pt 2). In my opinion it doesn't fit and feels somehow forced - a brand new character appears and within a short period of time, Aloy is in love - now even by my standards that's fast :-) and no matter which option you choose, the next installment of the game will ignore it anyway so it's up to Guerrilla how this relationship plays out.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Like Assassins Creed, this use to be one of my favorite franchises. Now it’s middle of the line for me. I love the gameplay and the boss battle is the better than the main game. I’ve read the other reviews and agree with the relationship was thrown in there and the player not given a choice. If you are going to put a relationship in for Aloy make it a choice and have it in the main game. I’m not against her being gay or bisexual. If players forget she had a love interest in Zero Dawn. Also podcasts and other professional reviews and meta critic itself. Don’t judge all the reviews thinking it’s about being gay. Its about how it was presented and that there was an agenda. Again I’m not gay bashing, so please stop thinking it’s about that. But clearly they were appeasing to the “woke” here. I want my choices to matter and I want to choose the relationships Aloy is going to have and what they are going to be. The main boss was funny and good choice. Exactly like certain billionaires these days lol Expand

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is visually the best game I have ever played, and in terms of gameplay, it is enjoyable for me, although it may not be for everyone. But the story is the biggest weakness of the game, and I don’t think the story will be great in Someone’s opinion and it may just be the difference between those who say it’s mid and those who say it’s bad. But in different ways, this game completely shows off the power of the 9th generation console.
