    Game has become my favorite ever already. The time I'm gonna pour into customizing the personal rooms alone is gonna be tremendous. I don't know how they put so much great stuff into this game, but im blown away. It's unbelievable how much/how many layers this beautifully crafted game has. In awe.

    As a Harry Potter fan, it's everything I could have asked for and more (except Quidditch. DLC?) Graphics are great, runs at 60 FPS, no glitches that I have run into. Combat is fun and engaging, and far more difficult that I thought it would be originally in a good way! I just find myself gaining levels by exploring the massive Hogwarts Castle.     The game J.K. Rowling deserves.

    What a masterpiece by Portkey Games. To say they have never made a game like this, they did the wizarding world of Hogwarts justice. Looks incredible, plays incredible, sounds incredible (Both PC & PS5, though console is way more optimized as it stands - likely an official launch day patch/drivers for PC.)

    Great game. Has fun secrets when exploring the map and memorable NPCs. The story is good and doesn't rely on callbacks or references to other hp properties. Voice acting is well done, especially for the main villain
    It really does make you feel like your a student at Hogwarts

    This is what I wanted and so much more from a HP world game. The visuals are quite good, the game runs quite well (considering I am playing the deluxe edition 3 days before the official release - its amazing there are very few bugs overall). The world is so immersive and there is always much to do. I am 15hrs in and looking forward for more

    I'm not a huge HP fan but have genuinely enjoyed it so far. If you're like me, and not a huge fan I think its definitely worth the money. Great game!

    Absolutely amazing experience worth every Potterhead's attention. Very nice entrypoint for a potential HP fan aswell, but it does pay homage to alot of things from the books and movies.

    Excellent game, visually looks great - combat is fun and effective. Music is also lovely, I sometimes just sit and listen to that lovely little go getter.

    p.s broom flying around to some pirate sea shanties hits the spot.

    Exploring Hogwarts is an absolute joy. You can play for hours on end without even leaving the castle. But once you do the world opens up to even more adventures. A true must play for any wizarding world fan!

    first review ever but i had to write this because there was so much doubt before the release day..i believed tho that this game is going to be fire.. and i was right. 20 hours in and i got like zero bad things to say about this game. childhood brought back to life. 10/10 from me. Haters tears have never tasted better.

    The definitive Hogwarts experience for fans and non-fans alike. Just wandering the expansive halls, rooms and secret areas of the castle alone will keep you hooked for hours. It looks amazing, runs great on PS5, and really transports you to the greatest wizarding world ever.

    Incredible. From the visuals, the voices, the combat to the story, the lore and the level of immersion, this game delievers. Still some small graphical bugs to be found here and there, but nothing dramatic. This game is a must for every fan of the Harry Potter franchise.

    Amazingly full open world with many things to do, awesome NPCs and optional classes.. I’m not really the biggest Harry Potter fan but I still loved this game like any other! 10/10 (I’m 25 hours in right now)

    Best Harry Potter Game adaptation ever made, and an amazing open world RPG in general. It’s a love letter to fans with an amazingly crafted hogwarts castle and the surrounding Scottish highlands. A must play for anyone that likes Harry Potter and open world RPGs, this is easily my GOTY.

    This game is great. The graphics are beautiful, the fightsystem and Gameplay makes a lot of fun and the story is very interesting and mysterious. in my opinion it could be game of the year. Haven't been so immersed in a virtual world for a long time since the Release of World of Warcraft in 2004. Full recommendation =)

    Hogwarts Legacy is the game that I as a Harry Potter fan have always wanted. An expertly realised castle, perfected lore with tons of book references, characters with character, and a so much customisation! I had been confident it would be a great game. THIS is a brilliant game. I love it. Not to mention there have been 0 technical issues for me on the PS5!

    The plot is interesting and well constructed. The side missions are less varied, there are some successful ones, but the majority is collect it or bring it or kill it. but!!! The world and its exploration is so interesting that it doesn't bother you and you enjoy doing it. The battle system is certainly varied and interesting. Not boring and challenging.
    The game is not without problems, there are bugs and glitches and it seems that a lot of people have problems running the game smoothly.

    I'm glad all the SJWs brought this game to my attention. I didn't even know it was going to exist. Easily one of the best games I have played in the last 5 years. Combat is extremely smooth. There is ton to do. Immersive and faithful. It's not another game that's just waxing names for what they're worth.

    Great game I've spent my first 6 hours just exploring the castle.

    I also have this on PC (playing on normal with Xbox one controller) and the PS5 (playing on hard with dual sense obviously) version runs better stick to performance mode. You need those frames thick and fast to survive combat especially on hard difficulty. Both controllers work well, I haven't even tried keyboard and mouse    Great game I've spent my first 6 hours just exploring the castle.

    The Harry Potter game I’ve been waiting for. Captures the magic of the books and films perfectly. There are sooo many little details and the story is fun so far too.

    Ignore the negative reviews, they are not based on the game quality, they are simply HP and JK Rowling haters who can’t stand the idea of this being a good game that people are enjoying.

    The game is absolutely fantastic. The graphics are amazing, the castle, the forests, etc. It's story is incredibly immersig, and the amount of things to do there is extraordinary. Thanks to Avalanche Software, which gave Harry Potter fans the chance to live this dream.

    If you are a fan of Harry Potter, this game is a paradise for you. If you are not, this game is a paradise for fans of the role-playing adventure style. In any case, this game is an artistic masterpiece.

    This game is beyond expectations ! You can feel that devs put so much love and work into it. Every turn you make is full of surprises, I didn't enjoy any other game this much ! The graphics, performance, details and every thing else is adorably well done. I hope the devs will keep releasing more and more content for this game and keep it going for long years.

    About the game though. A beautiful game to experience. It's clear a lot of time went into designing Hogwarts and the area surrounding it. The amount of detail in the game and the graphics are just phenomenal! On top of that the atmosphere with ambience and music is on point. There is a heavy focus on exploration which just feels well done and rewarding with a good mix of puzzles. The combat is very good as well. The beginning obviously is quite basic since you only have a few spells but the further you get in the game with more spells unlocked and with more talents available, the combat just feels very smooth and satisfying. Difficulty is just right for me on normal, at times a bit challenging and at times not so much. The customization of your character is also pretty extensive with a good amount of options to choose from in the beginning and quite a big wardrobe of cosmetics to collect throughout the game. Quests are varied enough for me, they don't feel repetitive and I enjoy doing all the little side things the game has to offer. About the story I can't say much because I'm not super far into it but so far it's fine although nothing groundbreaking here.

    Review Hogwarts Legacy? Don't mind if I do. This is coming from someone that back in the early 2000's fell completely in love with the Wizarding World. Imagine my delight when the PC version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone allowed me explore Hogwarts. Not that I believed that game was better than other games. It wasn't. But I was blown away by the fact that I could explore a miniReview Hogwarts Legacy? Don't mind if I do. Imagine my delight when the PC version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone allowed me explore Hogwarts. Not that I believed that game was better than other games. It wasn't. But I was blown away by the fact that I could explore a mini version of the Castle and find it's secrets, casting Alohomora on suspicious looking walls only to discover hidden chests. Well, Hogwarts Legacy took me all the way back to those days, only this time it feels like it finally got the love and attention a video game deserves, especially for this IP, full of potential. Put aside minor glitches and weird decisions (no Potions minigame to balance the tediousness of waiting for a potion to brew?), this is The Game that to me does feel like GOTY material, and set in the Wizarding World! The gameplay loop is intriguing, the story top notch, the callbacks are there, the combat is genuinely fun, the environments are majestic, Hogwarts Castle is full of secrets to unravel, the voice acting is wonderful, the cast is multicultural and diverse, is trans friendly, is lgbtq+ friendly all around. As a gay guy, this is a hug for the soul. Finally, the wonderful world created by JK Rowling's wonderful imagination comes to life like never before. Wether you are partaking in one of the many side quest, flying around the map, or watching Peeves playing tricks, this is a game that all Potter fans should definitely play. It blows out of the water every other game that came before. Avalanche studios has placed Portkey Games on the map, IMHO. What a delicious experience, one that my inner child will treasure until the last day. Play this game!… Expand

    Very good. The world feels like on the level of RDR2 which is so rare. Similar to the excellent spider men games how the game´s open world plays. The setting feels fresh and throwing spells around is excellent with M&K.

    Performance is great, and hardly and bugs in the first 20h.

    It is a memorable experience.

    Satisfying combat, lots of exploration, and tons of playtime with minimal bugs. Twitter is trying to cancel this game, but don't listen to them.

    Hogwarts Legacy has a great character design and could have had a great story too but the story is not so strong. the gameplay feels great and exploration is so entertaining. visually its great and Hogwarts castle is so detailed.

    Hogwarts Legacy is definitely a beautiful-looking game that doesn't have a groundbreaking story, but does have a beautiful world, a fun combat system, broomstick flying, and of course an incredible amount of side quests and missions. [Issue#325]

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
