    Amazing game. This is coming from someone that never really got on the HP bandwagon. The world, quests, lore and battle system are all great. I do find it pretty easy once you get a wide variety of spells so you may want to bump it to hard later in the game.

    The one missed opportunity is the lack of enemy variety. I felt like I was fighting the same 5 things the entire first half the    Amazing game. This is coming from someone that never really got on the HP bandwagon. The world, quests, lore and battle system are all great. I do find it pretty easy once you get a wide variety of spells so you may want to bump it to hard later in the game.

    The game has everything a Harry Potter fan could ever dreamt of in a video game (beside Quidditch), it's like my childhood dream comes to life. The combat is also surprisingly satisfying although I didn't expect much from it at first. And it works really well on the PS5 right at launch, that alone is a huge thumbs up, every Graphics modes works exactly how it's supposed to.

    I'm so glad that J K Rowling will do very nicely out of this game, the ugly activists who tried to shut her down because she believes female rights are human rights have failed miserably. Everyone who bought and played this game is supporting J K Rowling, and I for one couldn't be happier - 10 stars

    Modern masterpiece. Everything you could want in a game set in the Harry Potter world. There are a few nitpicky things that keep me from giving it a 10/10, but those are really just a me thing. Other than those things the game is excellent. Experienced very little to no bugs on the PS5 in Fidelity mode, which is rare for games now a days.

Everything feels like it comes from a world of magic from architecture to enemies to the countryside. The game mechanics are very good as well, including the crafting systems, level designs, and most importantly, the combat, which manages to flow quite well despite being entirely range based. The diversity of spells that can combo off one another allow you to take a unique approach to fights, plus the combat potions can help change your strategy to a significant degree. Perhaps the thing the game does best is how it invites you to explore the world and castle. There are dozens of puzzles tucked away in Hogwarts, secret passages, statues with secret functions, treasures to be found, and moving paintings all over the place. The side quests around the castle aren't fetch quests by any means, they usually task you with searching for something and, well, fetching it, but the process of finding the object is almost always a pleasure because directions are vague. For example, you might be told to search in "high places". Hogwarts Legacy also has a really unique way of contrasting your time in the castle, which is fun, exciting and wondrous with the open world exploration which is more mature, harrowing, and dangerous. There are poachers and monsters all over, hamlet's are being broken apart by grief as the goblin rebellion hurts literally everyone, even goblins. I'm not done with the game yet, but the motivation for most goblins to join the rebellion seems to be that witches wizards aren't nice to them sometimes, which is a bit weak. It's not as if they are enslaved like house elves. Finally, the game at present has a few bugs that will pop up now and then, things like a prop floating in the air after you just blasted it away, or a character model stuttering as it tries to open a door. The worst bug I have encountered occured when I was swimming in a cave and tried to exit the water onto the land. My character decided it was still in the water and floated right on up to the ceiling and got stuck. I just had to fast travel away and reset, not a big deal. I'm conclusion, if you want a really unique gaming experience this is a terrific option, as there is literally nothing like this in terms of combat, world design and writing. Some of the story elements are a bit less well thought out than others and are a bit silly, and there are some small bugs but nothing game breaking. And if you are a Harry Potter fan, just a word of advice, choose Hufflepuff. Trust me, you won't regret it.… Expand

I pre-ordered the deluixe edition and eagerly jumped in when it became available with the 72 hours early access and I must say it is very much my kind of game. Exploration and collecting, interesting locations and characters, and a decent story to boot.Didn't hear about this game until about a month ago but I felt myself being drawn towards it and its creator, JK Rowling, for some reason. Everything about is simply amazing - the world, the atmosphere, the sounds, the soundtrack, the characters, the freedom man I could go on and on. Only minor issues I have is that I would’ve loved to dive underwater and meet the Sirens and even though I don’t care much about Quidditch IWhat a BLAST this game is wow!     I wanted to go into this game completely blind, so avoided gameplay videos until I could play myself. I had built the game up in my own head to nearly an impossible standard and somehow it exceeded my expectations.
    It is everything I could've asked for in a game and more. The main story and side quests were really engaging and the ending was incredible.     The variety in spells and enemies was incredible and how they're taught and experienced through the course of the game made it so stress free and genuinely enjoyable. In other games I often get overwhelmed trying to understand this stuff, but this game did it perfectly.
    I am genuinely so impressed and happy with this game and couldn't recommend it more, especially to Harry Potter fans who suffered through the walking simulator games we've had in the past. It is everything I could've dreamed of as a kid and getting to experience everything with my own character was amazing. I can't wait to replay    … Expand

It's more akin to Zelda games, specifically Breath of the Wild. Combat is satisfying, original, and unique. Swimming is clunky and needs more work. I think I'm looking at, and experiencing what is going to be GOTY 2023! This surely is the golden era for videogames!     Legit the single best open world game I have ever played to date. Sure, there are fetch quests galore, as you may expect if you have ever played an RPG open world game before. However, the lore building, diverse events and amazing scenery is so well done and realised that the fetch quests are enjoyable to do, even at their must mundane. Is it the best looking game, or is it revolutionary? No. But it’s a world to get lost in for hours, a great story that feels like the movies and so much unique fun. And today that is sadly rare. I’m not the biggestI really expected it to be a bland Ubisoft formula open world game like almost every game lately. So to my surprise it’s a world full of magic and love to fantasy and adventure. Is it the best looking game, or is it revolutionary? No. But it’s a world to get lost in for hours, a great story that feels like the movies and so much unique fun. And today that is sadly rare. I’m not the biggest fan of Harry Potter but now I really want to read the books again :) if you liked the Witcher 3 or Zelda BotW, this could be your game.     This is the Harry Potter game we've been waiting for. Everything we hoped and dreamed is here. There might be one too many collectibles that it's putting an Ubisoft game to shame, but it's still an amazing experience.

    This was honestly the game I dreamt about since the first time I watched the Harry Potter movies. The world imagined by JK Rowling is so damn well put to life in Hogwart's Legacy. Combats feel good with all the spells you can do, traversal is amazing with brooms, hippogriffs and thestrals, graphics are amazing (except maybe the faces), and the story is very good (with a lot of referencesThis was honestly the game I dreamt about since the first time I watched the Harry Potter movies. The world imagined by JK Rowling is so damn well put to life in Hogwart's Legacy. Combats feel good with all the spells you can do, traversal is amazing with brooms, hippogriffs and thestrals, graphics are amazing (except maybe the faces), and the story is very good (with a lot of references to the Harry Potter books' lore). Merlin's trials are a bit repetitive but man I enjoyed every single one of them.

    Hogwarts castle just left me speechless. It's the most detailed thing I've seen in any video games. Full of mysteries, puzzles, characters and side quests. You really feel like you're a student yourself.

    In the end, this was a perfect experience. Congrats to the teams at Avalanche and Warner Bros., you did a very good job! I can't put a score lower than 10, I just wish they expand the Wizarding World lore with other games like this one, but maybe in other countries, that would be awesome.     Keep politics out of gaming. This game does it great. You pick who you want to be and create your own character. You can even be a male character a boy with a big ol winky who if they wish can identify as a witch and vice versa. And they call this game transphobic. Graphics are amazing too and exciting gameplay. Trolls, goblins, monsters.

    Such an amazing RPG in its own right and then on top of that your get to live as a student in hogwarts. Just wonderful. The recreation of the school and grounds is truly an amazing achievement. If you enjoy Harry Potter. You need this game in your life.

    First of all no game is perfect (specially at launch) but for the kind of raw crap that the gaming industry has accustomed us to, this game is in very good shape with very minors bugs. Just simply one of the best games I have ever played, good story, great mechanics, intuitive and beautiful graphics.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Hogwarts Legacy was an absolute delight. The game transported me to a beautifully rendered Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, complete with all the iconic locations from the books and movies.

    The graphics are stunning, with detailed textures and vibrant colors that bring the magic of the world to life. The attention to detail is impressive, from the intricate designs of the Hogwarts uniforms to the various magical creatures that roam the grounds.

    The gameplay is equally impressive, offering a vast open world full of quests and activities to explore. Players can customize their character, learn spells, and even tame magical creatures to help them on their adventures.     I had high expectations for this game and was afraid of being letdown but as high as they were, this game blew them away. Too early to call it game of the year but I’ll bet anything that it’ll be in the conversation.

    First two hours I was thinking I would be disappointed then it picks up and is one of the best games I've played in the last 2 years I will say the story is good but could have been better and the school said of the game is missing but overall its a fantastic game

    It’s the Harry Potter game I’ve been waiting for since I saw the first movie and played the first game! As a 30 year old man, it makes me feel like I’m 10 again! So much magic and so many places to explore you’ll never get bored. 80 hours could easily be dropped on just exploring the surrounding valley Hogwarts is in. A rare 10/10 for me.

    I haven’t been this satisfied as a gamer is a very long time. It’s so refreshing to see a developer not leaning on all of the money grabby techniques (always online, dlc, microtransactions). Also, this game’s expansion on an already massive world from the books and movies is truly awesome. I’ve never felt more immersed in my character and their world.

    Everything a potter fan could have asked for. Wonderful open world filled with the magical elements we hoped/loved, it's a teal pleasure to walk in the rooms and corridors of Hogwarts and watch all the details programmers have put in. GOTY !

Todos los quests se me han hecho muy entretenidos y de verdad que el HUB del castillo de Hogwarts es enorme, me sigo perdiendo en el y eso me gusta. Que te puedo decir, es un juego que me falta muchísimo por explorar, pero no dejo de pensar que este juego en manos de una empresa con más experiencia en mundos abiertos como Nintendo o Fromsoftware, pudo haber destronado al Zelda Ocarinca of Time como el mejor juego de la historia.

    Pure perfection! Gorgeous to look at and with an endless stream of things to do and places to explore. My only tiny complaint is the lighting issues that can be noticeable when walking into a new room / area. But while that can be a bit bothersome, the sheer perfection of the world design and combat make this game a truly exceptional one and very much deserving of a 10.

    Hogwarts Legacy has a great character design and could have had a great story too but the story is not so strong. the gameplay feels great and exploration is so entertaining. visually its great and Hogwarts castle is so detailed.

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
