    it have some weak points.. some quests and challenges are very repetitive .. its allmost the same....
    but everthing else ... the grafics, sound, immersion... you just feel like u are in the harry potter universe... just great.. best hgarry potter game so far... bye a lot .. and the story is really good to :)

    While this game does have its share of typical open world bugs and issues, the overall experience is fantastic. I find the pacing and overall gameplay loops to be incredibly addicting. I frequently find myself losing hours of the day just searching for lore or setting up my room of requirement. There is so much content abs so much magic in this game.     Some lack of interaction when your choices doesn’t affect what happens later in the game but boy, this game is magic. Snout mouse maps, great details in hogwarts and out in the environment around. Please note that I played this game on the PlayStation 5 so I am not aware of any other bugs are glitches that might be on PC or Xbox version I will say the story does start out slow, but those Harry Potter fans who have been waiting for an RPG type of game where you can be your ownAs a long time gamer, I always believe that a game should be judged on its own merit and that’s what I did. Please note that I played this game on the PlayStation 5 so I am not aware of any other bugs are glitches that might be on PC or Xbox version I will say the story does start out slow, but those Harry Potter fans who have been waiting for an RPG type of game where you can be your own student at Hogwarts, does not disappoint the gameplay mechanics that are used how they integrated spells in the combat, and how fighting worked kind of similar to the Witcher 3 and this game takes advantage of the new dual sense controller with resistant triggers and vibration feedback. this world, feels alive and vibrant, taking aspects from both the books and films and incorporating it into the portrayal of the Wizarding world. The developer went out of their way to make sure that this world felt alive, and was true to both the movies and books, and to Harry Potter fans who have been waiting for a Harry Potter RPG there are some aspects that could be improved like flying. For example, the controls are hard to control, the lack of consequences specifically to whether or not, you use the unforgivable curses or go down the dark path. There are interesting characters along the way that you meet some old some new some who are even ancestors to the original characters. Overall, this game is a great first step of an RPG based in the Wizarding world I’m expecting there will probably be DLC to add to this game. That’ll probably improve it along the way not to mention that this game has sold even before release I would say in my opinion it’s definitely a game of the year contender and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to make a sequel to this, so I would give this a 9 out of 10 very very great game not perfect but no game is ever perfect… Expand

    The game is well named as the best thing about it is Hogwarts castle. If you are looking for the experience of being a student in the Harry Potter universe then this game does a great job of giving it to you. The plot, and the surrounding countryside, are very much secondary to the fun of exploring the densely detailed castle.

    There is a ton of content in the game, with the downside that the second half can drag a bit as you spend much more time out in highlands, and the whole thing loses some of its wizard school focus.

    Overall I spent around 90 hours in the game, which was way more than I ever intended.    … Expand

    I only saw the first movie 20 years ago. I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but I have nothing against it. I bought this game due to the FOMO and yeah it's pretty amazing so far. Everything about it so far is well done and it actually makes me want to watch the movies finally. I'd love to see a Star Wars Jedi/Sith game in this style. Hopefully this game's success inspires that.

    I think the game is great. It has lagging, absolute **** story, and a lot of other issues but i think it just is really good. I haven't even gotten a broom yet, and i can for sure say the world is great. There is a lot to do in between main quests, which is great. Overall good, has issues, some of which may still be fixed later.

    The game that every Wizarding World fan has wanted. It has areas to improve but for the game to come out on day 1 and perform like this takes me back to when we got complete games out of the box. A lot more can be added in sequels but this game knows what it is and hits the mark.

    This game has almost everything I have ever wanted from a. Modern “Harry Potter” game. Great RPG, great sense of discovery and the world feels alive like they do in the books and movies. Wish there was quidditch and other wizard/mini games to play.

    (9) Superb. Just shy of gaming nirvana, this score is a high recommendation because the game reviewed is head-and-shoulders above its competition.

    Feels like the wizarding world. If you liked the world from the books and the movies, this is for you too. This game does everything very well and you can explore the world you read about. Hogwarts and Hogsmead are here for you to explore in detail. The game is pretty polished, I haven't run into any glitches so far, breathe of fresh air.

The art direction within the school is truly remarkable, capturing the essence and magic of Hogwarts perfectly. While the art direction outside of the school might not be as outstanding, it still manages to impress and look quite good.

    One of my favorite aspects of the game was the ability to soar    I recently completed Hogwarts Legacy and I must say, it's an absolutely fantastic game! The art direction within the school is truly remarkable, capturing the essence and magic of Hogwarts perfectly. While the art direction outside of the school might not be as outstanding, it still manages to impress and look quite good.

    One of my favorite aspects of the game was the ability to soar through the skies on a mount, engaging in exhilarating battles against goblins with my trusty magic wand. The combat mechanics were surprisingly enjoyable, proving that fighting with a wand can be incredibly entertaining. It exceeded my expectations!

    While the story may not be mind-blowing, it is definitely satisfying. I've discovered so much about Hogwarts through this game, and it has truly expanded my knowledge and appreciation for the Wizarding World. With all its fantastic elements, I wouldn't be surprised if Hogwarts Legacy becomes a strong contender for the title of "Game of the Year" in 2023.    … Expand

    As someone who's always been into the Harry Potter universe and who longed for new games regarding this, I was still surprised at how well it came out.

    Hogwarts Legacy is definitely the most immersive HP experience that you can get today, I have finished the game at around 50 hours but there were still things to do around the map if I desired.     PROS:

    - Immersive well established universe

    - A lot of attention to details, Hogwarts feels alive and it's a pleasure to walk through the halls and take it all in

    - You get to have the student experience, attend classes, go to Hogsmeade, all the things you've always wanted to do in this universe

    - The game is set 100 years before the HP events ( meaning that you won't get to see any HP characters but you do find some ancestors around the castle), however it manages to quickly gain your attention and make you forget about the initial HP story that you perhaps expect

    - Combat is better than I anticipated, making combos out of spells is really fun - A lot of extra activities, side quests, puzzles, you even get your own designable space with multiple outdoor places for the beasts you collect

    - Flying on a broom or mount feels satisfying - You can customize your look to your preference no matter what you have equiped

    CONS:

    - Side characters feel kinda weak, the professors are definitely the most interesting ones and it's a shame they aren't involved into the story/quests more often

    - Story is okay but won't blow you away, the main villains aren't as iconic as Voldemort but they get the job done

    - Main character and the fast travel lady sometimes repeat the same things way too often when entering certain places

    - Personally I would've enjoyed more action/content inside Hogwarts and in the Forbidden forest as those are the most mesmerizing attractions -Quidditch would've been nice but I can understand why implementing all the systems for that could be quite consuming, hopefully in a DLC or future game

    Overall strongly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the HP Universe and wants to roleplay as a Hogwarts student    … Expand

I really enjoy the gameplay, world has alot of attention to detail, I enjoy some of the side characters alot, I like the transmog system, and it's a very enjoyable experience for anyone who likes WW. Also I like that it isn't a 60 hour bloat fest to complete the main story, solid 20-30 to beat the main story while experiencing alot of what the game has to offer, but it also offers content to play and get in plenty of playtime if you want.
    Its downsides for me are the story in terms of the layers and RPG aspects, it really lacks in those areas, its held up by strong characters and a very captivating world but a really barebones story. I also think it could've had a much better end game villain or one that was more fleshed out because they kinda dropped the ball there.    … Expand

    As a fan of the Harry Potter series, Hogwarts Legacy is a really good gift for Harry Potter fans. There are times when I get stressed out by puzzles, and the forced conditions for progressing the story are really tricky and annoying, but I enjoy it enough.

    Best harry potter game ever and one of the most polished games ever. Favorite things about it :
    - the ability to build a base and the customization options
    - the attention to detail and how much there is to explore, you can open almost every door you can see
    - 120 fps mode, stable

    Only complaint is that the control scheme in combat is not very ergonomic and takes a lot of getting used to.

    Such an awesome game! Basically nothing bad to say about it other then performance is iffy on PC. First game I've pre ordered in years, and glad I did because it was well worth it. Don't listen to all the hateful idiots out there, buy the game, you won't be disappointed

    Liking the game after 10 hours, combat is good (playing on hard), enjoy collecting stuff and finding secrets. Graphics are pretty good running on a 3080TI, don't play RT but everything else is on ULTRA. The game has the same looks from the movies. Great game overall so far, and also enjoying the tears from all the bashing people are trying to do to the game and failing...

    I haven't played a game this good since Red dead redemption 2. The story is great, and some of the side stories are even better than the Ranrok story. There's tons of collectible achievements to do, and the castle is just beautiful. So much attention to detail inside the castle. Peeves, the ghosts flying, almost every portrait on the wall moves, and students have conversations as you walkI haven't played a game this good since Red dead redemption 2.     Very minor nitpicks:
    - switching between all the maps is slow. The interface could have been sped up a bit. Me and my partner did have a few bugs in the quests but luckily the game saved our progress and restarting the game fixed the bug..
    -the vivarium/ room of requirement with all your beasts collected is adorable but wish there was more depth to that content    … Expand

I'm not a Potterhead because I didn't read the books I just watched the movies several times but I love Harry Potter and I've been waiting for this game for a long time. The game is great. I was disappointed to find out that quidditch is not there or that if the house chooses me as a Slytherin I cannot speak Párcel. But the game is very addictive and cool. I don't care what the people who believe JK Rowling is a bad person say about this game, because she's already a zillionaire and so it makes no difference, and all of those people are just ridiculous enough to believe cancel culture and not actually do any research for themselves. I honestly think that the little visual glitches and stuff at launch are fine due to the fact that this, yet again, is Avalanche, so it's going to have some issues, and since there is a site dedicated to report bugs on the first page of the game's website, they should absolutely have all the bugs fixed within the first month with ease. I think that if the game gets a nice dlc to build playerbase, then it can keep that already massive playerbase for even longer than any other open world games. For a massive fan of the franchise (the books in particular) it is a dream come true and I recommend it to anyone who is, or ever has been a fan of the books/movies (but mainly the books since that's what they based the castle design off of).

    This is a really good game. I'm not a big fan of the Harry Potter series, but my wife is. I got the deluxe game for her as a present, and after watching her play it for a bit, I went out and got a 2nd PS5 and got myself the deluxe edition as well. I am absolutely enjoying the game, the graphics are good, the acting is good, the ability to just walk around and explore is fantastic. 100%This is a really good game. I'm not a big fan of the Harry Potter series, but my wife is.     Excellent game! The exploration is super fun, the environments are really pretty, and the combat works well. You really feel like a student running through the Hogwarts countryside. The small negatives would be the camera is too close, and the combat targeting can be off at times

    First game my girlfriend has ever played with me after trying with so many games! Finally! That being said, only an hour in and we like it. Customization of characters is the only thing I see lacking.

    İlk kötü kısımlarını söyleyeyim. Yeni alanlara geçerken kapılarda bekleme oluyor veya ışınlanırken 5-10 sn bekleme süresi oluyor. Büyük ihtimal düzeltilebilir bir sorun. Hikaye biraz yavan ana hikaye de, yan hikayeler de ama oyunun atmosferi o kadar güzel ki ben hiç sıkılmadım. Ek olarak büyü kullanmak çok eğlenceli.

    Everything you could have hoped for aside from a mediocre story and weak characters. The main bad goblin should’ve been more political and shadowy instead of the lazy big bad orc. The characters a really soft. Some student rivalries would’ve been nice. They treaded lightly. Hopefully they take more risks in the future. Could’ve been a 10 but got in their own way

    This is the game I wanted all the time since my childhood. A game where I can discover Hogwarts and the world around it on my own. That is what Hogwarts Legacy does quite well. The story is okay so far, 15h into it, it had some interesting storylines and it creates some truely magical moments, especially right at the beginning. But overall the story seems to be nothing too special.
    There are some things I wish the game would have handeled on another way. The atmosphere is sometimes off. In the nights noone is in the corridors, which makes sense, everyone should sleep, but when you go to your house room noone is in the beds, where are all the students? Sometimes there are house elves working and vanishing, when they see you, which just shows how much effort they put into details, but then, things that should have been discovered as obvious flaws still exists. I wish most of them would sleep, some reading or anything, but at least existing in the nights. It would have been also a nice feature if the Professors or the landlord would watch for students in the corridors at night and give them a penalty or something to make the player more likely to sleep or wait as well. But you can't sleep eather. Non hittable NPCs are not reacting at all if you shoot spells at them, at least one phrase like "What are you doing?" would have been great to stay in the illusion of beeing a real Hogwarts student. Some are some small flaws that destroys the atmosphere a bit.

    The combat system is just great, first I was sceptical about shooting spells around me. I thought it looked lame and not hard enough in the trailers. But it actually makes a lot of fun. It isn't really hard but not too easy, but I think the difficulty is just great balanced. Overall there are some flaws and also the game has some critical performance issues at the moment, but it still is a great game for all Harry Potter fans and a quite good open-worls roleplay game.

    I hope they will add Quittich DLC in the future or even maks a sequel game which allows the developers to learn from their mistakes and make a game even better. Not a must-play title, but still quite a solid experience. Especially recommended for all Harry Potter Fans, but also non Fans could enjoy the experience.    … Expand

    Pretty standard open world affair but the love put in to the atmosphere of the world is palpable. It was way to easy for me to get immersed in it and I was unable to put the game down till I beat it. Highly recommend.

    This is a seriously impressive game which is very true to the source material. Technically it is refreshing to get a game that is very polished on release without a plethora of microtransactions mixed it.

    It isn't the hardest game out there, but a very nice change of pace from the usual hectic tempo in modern games. There's a lot more in the world than just enemies, and that really makes if feel like a vibrant world instead of a dead game world.    … Expand

    que me chamou a atenção foi a possibilidade de criar o próprio personagem e
    escolher a casa em que ele vai estudar. Eu fiquei dividido entre a Grifinória e
    a Sonserina, mas acabei escolhendo Sonserina, afinal, queria saber mais sobre o
    "lado negro".

    A partir daí, o jogo começa a desenrolar com uma história
    própria, mas que se encaixa perfeitamente no universo criado por J.K. Rowling.
    O gráfico é incrível e a imersão é total. Você se sente realmente em Hogwarts,
    com direito a passeios pelo castelo, aulas de poções e duelos com outros
    alunos.

    Aliás, os duelos foram uma das partes que mais gostei. O estilo
    free-flow que vem da série Batman Arkham funciona perfeitamente aqui, e mostra o
    quanto ele pode ser divertido e funcionar para qualquer tipo de tema, os duelos
    em Hogwarts Legacy são bem divertidos e desafiadores, é preciso usar estratégia
    para vencer os adversários e é muito satisfatório quando conseguimos acertar um
    feitiço bem colocado. Elelementos de Zelda na exploração e uso da magia também funcionam perfeitamente aqui sendo usados pra resolução de puzzles e combate, assim como a construção de mundo e das quests, que tem muita semelhança com a construção de mundo em The Witcher 3, mesmo não tendo quests tão elaboradas quanto sua inspiração.

    Agora, falando sério, eu sei que muita gente está em dúvida se deve
    ou não jogar Hogwarts Legacy, devido à polêmica envolvendo a autora J.K.
    Rowling. Eu também não concordo com as opiniões dela, mas acho que cada um deve
    seguir o seu coração. Se você é fã de Harry Potter e está com vontade de jogar,
    vá em frente. Eu, que não sou fã, já estou me divertindo bastante. E se você
    decidir não jogar, também é uma escolha válida. O importante é respeitar as
    opiniões uns dos outros e lembrar que, no fim das contas, a magia de Hogwarts
    sempre vai estar presente em nossos corações.

    This game was absolutely worth the wait. Very good gameplay, interesting story, graphics, details. I highly recommend this game to everyone, even the ones who are not really Harry Potter fans, as myself. It's very fun, you just don't want to quit playing it.

    The world created in this game is amazing, full with details and references of the source material. It truly feels magical just wondering around Hogwarts and its grounds. It is definitely a great game to play specially if you are a Harry Potter fan. The only issue I have experienced is with its performance, something a suppose will be fixed with future updates.

    Seriously magical game with an eye for detail. It's a game to be played slowly and absorbed with a herculean scale.

    One issue on console is FOV but you get over it quite quickly once you've been around Hogwarts a few times.

    The graphic is really on a high level. A lot of details and you can spend hours just running over the different places and reviewing them. It would be nice to have slight improvements in day timing and waiting, but even with this, there are a lot of things that hold your breath.

    Hogwarts is huge and you can find some attractions in every corner.
    The lack of Photography mode and quidditch is also kind of upsetting.
    Still this game take the wizrading world another step forward with interesting combat system and a lot to explore!

The developers have clearly captured the unique qualities and magical atmospheres of this universe. So far the story has been entertaining and engaging although the voice acting can be a bit monotone and dull. The voice acting of the male character is decent but nothing extraordinary which makes cutscenes a little difficult to get through. The puzzles and challenges are dynamic and easily keep the player wanting to collect more. The developers have truly created a world that makes the player want to explore every nook and cranny. Around every corner the developers have hand placed the decorations and interactions making Hogwarts feel like real and magical location. You'll want to discover everything once you pick up the controller or keyboard. Speaking of the controls I am very satisfied. Combat is clean and the layout just makes sense for a controller. The combat is also engaging and the the ability to experiment with charms is quite awesome. However, to the veteran gamer the combat may get repetitive after long hours of playing. Graphically the game is beautiful and I am playing on balanced mode with an LG CX 4k at 120hzs. When I switched to Fidelity with Ray Tracing, the FPS took a dive. Moving the camera quickly left to right would cause screen tearing and lose fidelity. I found balanced mode to best suited for my play style. There are graphical glitches but they are few and far between. It so nice to see a game come out finished and not filled with bugs. I completely support companies that delay games and deliver products like this. However, I think the developer missed the opportunity to add more. I am disappointed that quidditch is not in the game and the in game story does explain why but it seems like a cover you ass kinda move. Like the developer didn't have time to code it in to the game. Also, miny games are in short supply and games like Wizards Chest would have been a great inclusion. The developer has a great opportunity to DLC the hell out of this game. An expansion pack that adds a whole season of Quidditch with a unique side story. Or a DLC of the tri-wizard tournament. That would be amazing. They have no reason to let this game die, please Avalanche Games. Give me DLC for this game. I will happily pay for it.    … Expand

Avalanche did an amazing job giving the game an atmosphere dedicated to all the books and movies. The whole world does feel alive and filled with magic. There are a lot of puzzles and every corner of the castle has something to find. The combat is not filled with gore but has some brutal moves in it. Some of the animations like flying on a broom could have been made less stiff but this does not impact the overall gameplay. Story is general, nothing really special, but keeps you playing and there are enough side quests to do to explore the world around Hogwarts castle to give your character more spells which help you in combat and solving puzzles. I think Avalanche has enough options to fill the game even more with DLC stories and other stuff to let you come back to the game the coming years.

    The game is just awsone ! A real love letter made for fans of Harry Potter and most important made BY fans of this universe.
    There is so much dedication on this game, a level of details just amazing.
    Story is reaaaaally good, combat, exploration, characters just awsome.

    Hogwarts Legacy has a great character design and could have had a great story too but the story is not so strong. the gameplay feels great and exploration is so entertaining. visually its great and Hogwarts castle is so detailed.

    Hogwarts Legacy is definitely a beautiful-looking game that doesn't have a groundbreaking story, but does have a beautiful world, a fun combat system, broomstick flying, and of course an incredible amount of side quests and missions. [Issue#325]

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
