    Graphics are nice, but not the best in racing games I would say. It lacks of variety on modes after finishing the campaign. Forcing you to be online to play single player modes is absurd, and the game is designed forcing you to buy credit with real money, embarrassing.

    Great graphics and some cool features with cool customizations on the cars but the fact that you make no money in races, cars and parts are ridiculously over priced like tires being 20k-40k and no newer cars for how new the game is is just crazy. I would give it a 2 but with the update and not being able to play a game you spend hard earned money on sucks. The entire game was shut down. This game suppose to be great, graphic great, gameplay great, BUT plague with microtransactions, grindie nature, and always online requirement. When the server offline, you're F*CKED even when the disc is inserted!!     I play Gran Turismo since GT1 and to be honest GT7 is biggest disappointment. Driving model is really quite good, expect feeling at the age of grip in RWD cars which is a little bit not realistic. Single player for now is quite short, but to be fair missions are quite nice. The worst thing is that I paid for 25th anniversary on disc and surprise game can't be played without InternetI play Gran Turismo since GT1 and to be honest GT7 is biggest disappointment.     I just don't understand why it took so long to make this game. GT7 on release day was 5 years old already. I'm big fan of GT. Had every part on every platform. Evolution is needed here. Btw. why there is no quick settings for PP adjust? Waiting for fixes.

    Good game, too buggy in places, and obviously released too early. But the microtransactions made me suspicious. And the reduction of rewards feels awfully like we’re being shafted.

    Very uncool, and not what I expect from a trusted brand. Needs fixed FAST, or they’ll alienate their fanbase quickly.

    Difficult to buy the few nice cars the game has, the money rewards are low. There are more than 400 cars, but most of them are old and boring. It looks like after patch 1.07 they want you to buy the cars with real money. I have WiFi disconnecting some times, and when it happens, I lose all the race progress or the championship. We need offline play!!

    I've liked Sony since the walkman but this stuff is getting lame. Man, what kind of stuff is this? No real guy would put such lame MTX in a full price game. Not to mention the server outages. Oh man. Lame stuff. Always online for single player: lame stuff.

    It's not a massive jump from Gran Turismo Sport, which is not bad. The gameplay, visuals, and audio are awesome as expected. But the always-online requirement and micro-transaction focus have no place in this game. They just destroyed the whole fun and experience.

    Was enjoying launch. Nerf to credits make me not want to play much anymore. The amount of time they want you to play to buy 1 car is rediculous. Racing is fine, but they are just being greedy for microtransactions now with not being able to sell cars and rewards being so low.

    Did you ever think in a racing game "I hate that I could by all the cars all the time - wait no longer in GT7 that problem is gone - half the cars are only available by chance in the dealership and if you do not have the 200.000.000.0000.000.000.000 credits ready when it pops up - maybe it will shop up 8 years later again - don't forget to login every day.

No endurance races or anything that needs advanced licences to compete in. Ui is fiddly and cumbersome. Dirt physics are terrible. Can't sell cars as they want you to buy MTX. No decent payouts for longer races. Pit stops are separate cutscene system. Every race involves starting at the back of the pack and overtaking the ai. Terrible lack of customisation in camera positions (can only move it by a few centimetres in any direction, so no way to fill the screen with the dash from inside the cockpit).

    Seems like they released a half finished game with the idea to either release the rest later for free, or based on their current MTX model, more likely to release it as paid content. The game is a full retail game with the economy of a free-to-play MTX grindfest.

    Couldn't recommended in it's current state.
    Without most of these issues it would get a 7/10 from me, but the very fact that it has an Always-on-connection requirement for the single player portion of the game gets it an instant zero.    … Expand

    Would be a 10 if had proper career mode and better rewards for races on and offline. Except for the 3 grind tracks the payments are pitiful if you want to buy a legendary car. Even so its great.

    Después de reservarlo y jugar horas puedo decir que durante su primera semana el juego fue una decepción todo es totalmente caro y difícil de conseguir , sus gráficos dejan ya su realismo en choques etc


    Tras la actualización de hace unos días todo empeoró y ahora ya es totalmente imposible pensar en ahorrar para un auto

Ok that was a mistake and Polyphony learned from mistakes they made. I said to myself. I’m sure GT7 will be the best game ever. But NO! You became so greedy even the price of the game 69.99$ is not enough for you and you have to use micro transaction in f..king racing game. You even lowered rewords with patch from winning just to make sure there is no way we can play game without spending real world money. Can you guess why we can’t sell cars? And please don’t start with that car collection bulls..it. Hm? But of course we can’t just buy the car we want without spending real money.     After what seems like an age what has been delivered to us is a half-baked excuse for microtransactions.
    After completing the single player game in 2 days you're left wondering what's left.
    I regret adorning £70 on my pre-order.

Es gibt Leute die müssen Arbeiten und haben Familie. Die können nicht jeden Tag 10 Stunden spielen. Und selbst mit den gewünschten Microtransaktionen ist das nicht möglich. Denn so Micro sind diese Transaktionen auch nicht! Ich müsste mehrere hunderte, ja tausende Euro investieren um ansatzweise eine gute Fahrzeugsammlung zusammen zu bekommen. Wie macht man sich eines der eigentlich besten Rennspiele kaputt? So!!!!

    The game feels like it was released too early, like theres a lot of missing events and features.A lot of missing races, which are gr3-gr1, formula, and other series. Lobbies aren't the same, it has more limited options. And theres alot of bugs. On the flip side, it has Awesome physics, tuning is actually the best thing.

Something about the MtX that was leaving a bad taste in my mouth, but nevertheless I ignored. However since the Always on requirement had basically turned my physical game into a book mark, along with the reduction in payouts this is extremely unfriendly consumer behaviourWhere to start. It appears it has always been their plan to make this game online only, so they can control how user earn credits in the game, and manipulate the game to force players to buy Micro Transactions. They lied to our face right from the beginning, and never told us the requirements of the game is that you need to either have time of the world, OR DEEP POCKET, OR DUMBASSES!!!!     In fact, running SONY Drive Club game (SONY PS4 version as it was never remastered even for SONY PS4 Pro), through Backward Compatibility mode on SONY PS5, SONY Drive Club still looks better graphically than GT7 on SONY PS5.

    When I say GRAPHICALLY, I'm referring to how real (close to reality) the image looks, I'm not referring to frames per second or resolution.

    Honestly, my disappointment is such that I would rather pay this price for the SONY Drive Club game remastered for SONY PS5 than this SONY Gran Turismo 7 game that disappointed me horribly in terms of Graphics Quality.

    SONY, forget about Ray Tracing, we want Quality Graphics!

    When it comes to gameplay, I still prefer SONY Drive Club. The only things I like about Gran Turismo 7 are the Museum, the Car Mall, and the fact that it's the same Car Simulator that follows the pattern of the Gran Turismo series, in addition to keeping the same Tracks from the series, as I did.

    But Graphically, the picture is so disappointing that I feel that I was assaulted by the high price charged by SONY for this SONY GT 7 game with these graphics that when playing on SONY PS5, it looks like they are actually being run by SONY PS4 Pro when it is running. in "Performance mode", and appears to run on a SONY PS3 when running in "Ray Tracing mode enabled".

    But the worst thing about a game, which is marketed in physical media, is the internet connection required to play, especially Career and/or Single Player mode.
    In fact, I really liked being able to play with split screen, me and 03 friends competing, with the screen divided into 04, using the same Console.

    That's why it's not worth buying the SONY PS5 or the SONY PS4... oh, how much regret.... The best is GT 6 on SONY PS3, there's no way... Besides, I have a 3D Projector with Active 3D glasses, and I have many Blu-ray Disc 3D movies, but only SONY PlayStation 3 supports 3D.

    SONY PS5 and SONY PS4/PS4 Pro will have an advantage over SONY PS3 only in the fact that it supports SONY PS VR, but the graphics quality on SONY PS5 should be much better than SONY PS4/PS4 Pro on VR.

    Anyway, the best game for SONY PS4/PS4 Pro & SONY PS5 is without a doubt the game: SONY Drive Club.
    The last best SONY Gran Turismo was GT6 for Career mode, and GT Sport for graphics.

    But between GT Sport and Drive Club, I prefer Drive Club, especially since Drive Club's graphics are better even than GT7's graphics (which are already better than GT Sport's graphics).
    That is, Drive Club is better than all games in the Gran Turismo series, including Gran Turismo 7, Drive Club is better, especially in graphics quality.

    GT7 is better than GT Sport in graphics quality, but in gameplay, GT7 is the worst game in the history of the Gran Turismo series.
    GT Sport is better than GT6 in graphics quality, but in gameplay, GT Sport is the second worst game in the history of the Gran Turismo series.

    GT6 is the best game in the history of the Gran Turismo series.
    On SONY PS3, there is no better racing game than GT6.
    On SONY PS4/PS4 PRO, PS5 there is no better racing game than SONY Drive Club, although it has not been remastered even for the PS4 Pro, so there will never be a remastered version for the PS5.

    The studio that produced SONY Drive Club was shut down by SONY for making the game stupidly better (in graphic quality) and better looking than any other racing game, humiliating the Gran Turismo series games in such a way that SONY shut it down. the Studio that produced Drive Club, in addition, SONY forbade the remastering of the Drive Club game for SONY PS4 Pro and SONY PS5, as the game was so graphically beautiful that it would make people repulse spending money and play Gran Turismo games.

    Gran Turismo Sport was released to try to make people forget about Drive Club, but the failure of "advance in graphics quality" between GT Sport and GT7 is so massive that it's impossible not to compare it to Drive Club and note that both, GT Sport and GT7, are inferior to the Drive Club, graphically.

    I recommend your last GT game to be GT6, only available for SONY PS3. If you have a SONY PS4/PS4 Pro/PS5, I strongly recommend, just play Drive Club & Drive Club VR. Stop wasting time with Gran Turismo Sport and Gran Turismo 7!    … Expand

    Where is just a list of race categories. Why do i need to go to each circuit to find races? Messy. Should have a long list of different championships and races like in the past. Sure the cafe 'can' guide you though it. but don't make it the only way.

    I don't like being forced to play the game the way you want me to.

    I bought this game full price to be able to enjoy the Gran Turismo experience I felt on the PS1 and PS2.

    But I feel scammed now as I learned that I cannot play solo without online connection, and also need to pay (expensive) price to purchase cars, that I will definitely not be able to win with just my gaming skills.

    I feel scammed, the video games industry is in crisis... Sad times.

    Been playing GT since the PS1, and pre-ordered this for my PS5. I've seen all the negative reviews and thought I'd have a look at some of the rarer cars. It costs approx £150 to buy credits for a Mclaren F1 or Porsche 917. Nobody is going to do that. They've also reduced in game credits for race wins!

I’ll echo each and every other negative review regarding the micro transactions and the need to be connected to servers even for the single player campaign, which brings me to my biggest problem with the game, where is the single player campaign? We were duped into thinking it was going back to its roots with its focus on the original campaign mode, it could’nt be further away if it tried! Once the cafe menus are done in a handful of hours and they throw a car at you after EACH 2-3 lap easy race, one of which you’ll need to do the next menu or two (apart from the pick up race which you need to buy one yourself, and there’s only one option to buy as you win the only other pickup in the game as the prize for that race) there is literally nothing to do! I’m not interested in multiplayer or sport mode at all, license tests are quite easy to gold and there’s no real point doing the IB, IA or S as there are absolutely no races or championships that require them, as for the ridiculous prices cars? No incentive to buy them either as guess what? There’s absolutely no races where you need them either! For £90 I expected a full campaign mode, instead I got what feels like a warm up and pointless cars thrown at me that will never get looked at let alone used in the game, used car market is bare bones and only one car gets changed each day, no variety in cars, pushes towards gr3 cars as that’s the only 3-4 races really left after the career mode is done, they’ve killed the series with this game! There are single races in GT1-5 that take longer to complete than this whole career mode! I didn’t pay £90 (anniversary edition pre order) for a game to have to wait months on end for the content to be drip fed or felt pressured into spending more money on micro transactions! No content, no offline single player, rolling starts where you start at back every time half a lap away from leader so you need to use a car quicker than the pack to catch them in time taking the whole racing fun out of it, no incentive to grind the one 5 lap race over 300 times to buy an overpriced car that doesn’t have any specific races for it, pathetic payouts for the races pretty much forcing those who want those overpriced and useless cars to pay their own money for over priced credits, mclaren F1 would cost over £180 in micro transactions, in a £70-90 game, let that sink in!

    This could have and should have been the best in the series, it doesn’t even come close to the game GT2 and 4 were! What is there, and it takes only a couple of days to see it all, is stunning, the graphics and gameplay are great, there’s just no where near enough of it! If I could give less than a 0 I would! Save your money and wait 3-4 years when the content is there and it only costs £10 in a sale    … Expand

Playing online in lobbys is impossible - compared to GT Sport it is like an early beta phase.     This game is an absolute DISGRACE with microtransactions. Do NOT buy it. The strong ratings from the review sites don’t take this into account because the developers hid microtransactions until all the reviews were out.

    You earn hardly any credits once you’ve completed the cafe menus (short campaign mode), which is a clear design choice to tempt you into buying credits.

    When a game costs 70€ or dollars you expect to own the game and play it anytime you want, all you need is a basic for play, console, TV and electricity, but then someone thought of giving you an additional need, INTERNET. Well, you bought the game and all the content is on that disc or on your hard drive or SSD, but then the most impossible thing happen, you have    Why zero? Simple.
    When a game costs 70€ or dollars you expect to own the game and play it anytime you want, all you need is a basic for play, console, TV and electricity, but then someone thought of giving you an additional need, INTERNET. Well, you bought the game and all the content is on that disc or on your hard drive or SSD, but then the most impossible thing happen, you have internet but the servers of the game are down or in maintenance and you can't play YOUR GAME. This happened to all of us, but before it happened to me I tried to disconnect the internet and just try the game to see what happened, I was shocked, you can't do anything at all! All you can is play the arcade mode while the whole game keeps asking for internet, you will not have access to the cars you unlocked, not even if you want to know a bit more about the car in the arcade mode.
    To resume this story, I bought it and sold after a 2 days, even before the great disaster occoured, and I'm glad I did.
    People, don't buy a game that says internet required, those games should be free-to-play not a full game with a price tag of 70€ or dollars! Get away of this game and give them the proper message!    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
