    Hugely disappointing. It's too similar to Gran Turismo Sport, the events are poor and the in game economics are a disgrace (although better after 1.09). Also the offline gameplay is a complete joke.

    Grindfest. Micro-transaction cash grab. Lacklustre Daily Races with little variety. Boring Career mode. Tiny amount of new tracks. Gacha rewards where 90% of the time you will get a rubbish award.

    Cars and handling are highlights.

    There's an amazing game, hidden beneath-Micro. transactions. Always. Online. It's 2022. Hi, Sony?! C'mon!! This is a flagship game and feels like it's not getting the right attention in design. The micro economy within the game feels off, broken, and needs addressing! The single player campaign should be playable offline!

    Impossible de jouer le mode solo sans être connecté, ce qui pose probleme lors des phases de maintenance en ce moment et surement encore plus dans le futur. Des maj qui baissent les gains de crédit et qui va pousser à utiliser les MT.

    This game embodies everything wrong with modern gaming. Fake trailers, micro transactions introduced after launch. A product that looks and feels unfinished. An absolute disgrace.

    The "campaign" doesn't give you even 25% of cars available, and not even one really expensive car just for finishing it (even when there are hundreds more).
    Then races pay too little, cars are way expensive and even enough credits to to fully mod a car can take a lot of races.
    All of this to influence you to buy MTX to save time. Truly a shame, too much greed

    unfortunately GT7 fall foul in a few areas, namely the absence of being able play single player offline, the microtransactions in a premium-priced games is concerning and a trend that needs to end

    GT7 is half of a solid sim racer with plenty of extra info for car collectors and a (mostly) great driving model. The other half was replaced with bizarre progression systems/gated content, bare-bones AKA "classic" race options, an unnecessary money grind, zombie AI, rigged loot boxes, and yes--ridiculous microtransactions for in-game cash. The visual and audio presentation is a mixedGT7 is half of a solid sim racer with plenty of extra info for car collectors and a (mostly) great driving model. The other half was replaced with bizarre progression systems/gated content, bare-bones AKA "classic" race options, an unnecessary money grind, zombie AI, rigged loot boxes, and yes--ridiculous microtransactions for in-game cash. The visual and audio presentation is a mixed bag--as per usual in Gran Turismo--but the guttural roars, growls, and banshee wails of those sweet exhaust notes still give me goosebumps.

    Behind the wheel, this game has few peers. Everything else feels like it was lifted straight from a 2000s-era title designed in a back-alley pachinko parlor by a jaded marketing executive.    … Expand

    The joy of playing sim racers is to enjoy the fantasy you'll never afford in real life. What the creator has chosen to do is take away that joy and replicate the real world. This futher destroys the appeal by taking away the race revenue players earn from wins used to afford these dream cars.     I knew about the potential online issues going in but assumed servers would be stable. They weren't.

    The microtransactions were an annoyance before but lowering event rewards so soon after launch, to push people to pay more is underhanded.

    Total disappointment! 24hours server down,no single player content,no compensation,nerfing credit payout for incentivising microtransactions! And the weak excuse which Yamauchi gave pathetic. If thos wont be done right this will be my last GT game
    The rest game is fun with the all mentioned above I can't play it like this

    - F*ck Sarah, f+ck Luca, f*ck all of them! I don't wanna read their sh+t! I don't care.

    - The Roulette Tickets! OMG, the Roulette Tickets! Imagine a fake "RNG" thingy with five prices. 99,5% chance you get the worst price which means a little puddle of money (2.000 Credits) and 0,5% for a car part for a car you don't own, of course. This whole is so rigged, it's not even funny anymore.

    I'm not sure what past issues with microtransactions were, but gaining credits is not hard. This is not forza and you will not be starting with a Lamborghini. This is by far the best racing game in years. The only issue I have is that every career race so far has been rolling starts, other than that, it's perfection.

    I rarely review games on this platform, but this felt necessary. The game is extremely out of touch with reality. Developers have recently nerfed credit earnings to the ground, saying that rare cars should be rare and hard to acquire.... but you can spend $40 in about 30 seconds to buy the car with real money. How exactly does that promote rarity if someone can open their wallet and getI rarely review games on this platform, but this felt necessary. The game is extremely out of touch with reality. Developers have recently nerfed credit earnings to the ground, saying that rare cars should be rare and hard to acquire.... but you can spend $40 in about 30 seconds to buy the car with real money. How exactly does that promote rarity if someone can open their wallet and get the rare item instantly?

    On top of that the game is clearly designed with F2P mechanics in mind. Daily Roulettes are terrible and hardly ever reward a decent prize. Used car shop fills slowly with cars you need to buy before they disappear for an unknown amount of time. The legend shop just now refilled with a car that costs 18,500,000 credits!! It'll take over 30 hours of grinding the same race over and over to buy it! Or pay $180ish to get it instantly :)

    Limited time invitations, that you only seem to get via daily roulettes, to buy cars with 1,000,000-5,000,000 credits further incentives the player to purchase credits with real world dollars. Otherwise you'll miss out on buying the car and you won't know when you'll get another invitation.

    On top of the economy problems, there's just a general lack of content for the game. 39 menu books took a laughably short amount of time to get through and missing endurance races, grid starts, tracks, event modes, and more really really shows.

    Tl;dr, economy for this game is completely geared to push players to buy credits with real world dollars. Lack of post menu completion content is barebones and laughable.    … Expand

    Gameplay great but no-one should accept the DRM nonsense and online requirements for what is basically a single player racing game for the majority of a user's experience. This is a slippery slope if we accept these kind of practices without protest. For that reason I have to add my voice and zero score to the understandable 'review bombing' that is happening here.

    The game is designed like a cash grab phone game with horribly slow progression. They weren't bilking the players for enough money so they slashed the race rewards to try and force players to spend more.

    Morally bankrupt business practices is a nice way of putting it.

    I didn’t buy this game at launch due to the low reviews it received. However it went on sale at Boxing Day and I picked it up for the sale price. I fell in love with it and ended up buying a racing chair and wheel. I just got the PSVR 2 and I’m looking forward to experiencing what this brings to the table.

I sold my Xbox series x due to the long commitment of being a Sony fan boy and gran Turismo fan. I am now regretting selling my Xbox since forza is 10 times a better racing game. This is such a shame, and granThis is the worst racing game to date. Micro transactions galore, and the game has races you can only beat, if you pay to get a car to finish the races.     El caso de GT/ lo podríamos catalogar como de estafa calculada. Esperaron a que la prensa diera su veredicto, para luego cambiar todo el sistema de monetización y con ello destruir un buen juego. Sony deben entender que los jugadores no son tontos y que estas cosas se castigan.

    I paid over $100 for this game and it took me just over 10 hours of racing to complete the campaign. When the credits started rolling, I thought that maybe this had unlocked further gameplay, but no. That was it. I might have to dust off my ps3 to play a true Gran Turismo title.

    The gameplay itself is good.
    But it requires always on-line, once server is down (happening now, a maintenance last for over 24h), you can't even play single player mode.
    Let alone the low race profit and overprice cars, forcing player pay for their greedy micro transactions.
    Very disappointed.

    I have every single entry of this series and it really pains me to give this score to a very decent driving simulator but I just simply cannot support the current microtransaction model (on top of a 70 dollar game). And the thing that really grinds me the most is that the game needs to be online for a single player game, that’s not right, not now, not ever. This trend has to finish asap.

    Nuca e sido fan de los Gran turismo en realidad o sus similares, me di una oportunidad con el juego pues si me han gustado los need for speed, sin embargo el juego me ha gustado, sus graficos muy buenos, me gustan los autos, sin embargo le perdi el hilo despues de un tiempo luego que bajaran recompensas etc y me desencante.

    I cannot believe so many have review bombed this game it is probably the best Gran Tourismo to date. 1st one I personally really have liked. I am an Xbox Forza series fan and this is better than Forza 7 so Forza 8 better bring its A game if they want to beat it. Pros: Easy to learn, fun, has a great sound track. The feel of the cars is really good and the detailes are very realistic. Cons:I cannot believe so many have review bombed this game it is probably the best Gran Tourismo to date. 1st one I personally really have liked. I am an Xbox Forza series fan and this is better than Forza 7 so Forza 8 better bring its A game if they want to beat it. Pros: Easy to learn, fun, has a great sound track. The feel of the cars is really good and the detailes are very realistic. Cons: The customization could be better, The environment graphically has places where it looks a lot like older Gran Tourismo games. The Trees and vegetation do not look as good as they could, but not bad. Personally gameplay is everything to me and Gran Tourismo has delivered a fantastic game play experience and a fun game that to me is most important. In GT7 you have to grind out the campaign to unlock tracks and features like racing online.     I aint a fan of racing games (outwith Mario Kart) but as I purchased PSVR2, GT7 was THE must have "system seller" ... apparently?? I played it in VR, really liked it, so purchased a 2nd hand racing rig/wheel which elevated it to a completely new level. NEVER have a enjoyed a real racing game like this. Progression seemed good at the start, unlocked a few of my fave cars ever early on ... then a few hours later I was persusing the Legends Garage and saw a beaut of a car ... with an eye-watering 20,000,000 credits price tag??!!! Hmm ... surely an oversight/typo/bug?? Ive noticed these 60 minute races for 1,000,000 credit prizes.... so i'd need to race 20hrs of these extended sessions to afford ONE car!!!??? I then innocently noticed the credits "top-up" option next to my total credits. Ah ... a convenient (and obviously affordable way) to purchase vehicles without grinding ..... HANG ON - SOMETHINGS SCREWY HERE!!! £15.99 FOR 2,000,000 CREDITS!!@@**???? So to buy that single 20,000,000 piece of CAR SOFTWARE "DLC" with real money would cost me £160 quid OR almost an entire day of racing non-stop for TWENTY HOURS!! I LOVED this game, I adored collecting all the cars, viewing all my dream cars in the VR showroom and it actually got me HOOKED on a racing sim for the first time in my life. Im now realising that this is nothing more than a sinister, cynical, anti-consumer, greedy, rip off .... tailored to perfection to get kids spending more money than the £70(!!!) the actual game costs in the first place!! The enjoyment I got from collecting the cars has dwindled as I realise I dont have the time or REAL money to acquire anywhere near the % of cars that would be satisfying.
    AND THOSE SCAMMING PRE-DETERMINED ROULLETTE TICKETS!!! You should have 1/5th of a chance of getting the best prize every time. The game seems to have already decided to ALWAYS give you THE WORST PRIZE. You cant even press a button to tell it when to slow down which would make it fairer. Instead, the game forces you to watch on helplessly and hopelessly as you get repeatedly shafted! Just got a 6 STAR (no less) ROULLETTE TICKET tonight .... my prize ... a shaft (the irony) rod for a crappy Mazda I dont own with a value of (wait for it) .... 4,500 CREDITS!!! Thats a 6 STAR PRIZE!!!??? Somethings gone awry with this nonsense. I will keep playing as I do enjoy the racing, which is probably BEST IN CLASS, even though I know the rewards will be scant and i'll never get the enjoyment I should have got from it. Ive given it 3 star and that seems very high and overly generous compared to the 2.2 average score. Never have I felt so elated AND disappointed by a game before.     Partiamo dallo stile di gioco: le auto hanno la stessa fisica del primo GT: provate a schiantarvi a tutta velocità contro una barriera, l'auto si fermerà in maniera così innaturale da chiedersi se sia un gioco del 2022 o del 1970.
    I danni al veicolo si limitano a pochi fattori estetici e ad oggi, non ho notato danni meccanici rilevanti.
    Arriviamo poi a quello che reputo veramente assurdo per un gioco che faceva del Tuning delle vetture una delle sue peculiarità: le modifiche alle auto, hanno prezzi, effetti e limitazioni assolutamente senza senso.
    Nel mondo del tuning delle autovetture, si può fare praticamente di tutto. l'unico limite è il budget a disposizione, certamente portare una 595 abarth a a 500 cv costa molto, ma comunque meno di mettere le mani su una ferrari da 600 cv e portarla a 750. sono auto differenti con prezzi molto differenti e prezzi estremamente differenti. dal 5 in poi invece tutto si è omogeneizzato.
    Molto triste è nche il fatto di aver limitato le modifiche eseguibili e la compatibilità di alcune di esse a modelli invece che altri.
    Capisco non poter modificare una Tesla: non ha il motore termico, ma tutte le altre modifiche si dovrebbero poter fare a qualsiasi auto.

    Poi con l'aggiornamento 1.08 sono diventate molto impattanti le ODIATISSIME MICRO TRANSAZIONI! i premi delle competizioni si sono abbassati enormemente e si è costretti a ripetere le stesse corse per decine di volte se si vuole avere un po' da spendere, anche in virtù del fatto che le auto vinte non si possono vendere!
    Questo contribuisce a rendere ripetitivo e noioso un gioco che aveva fato della varietà il suo punto forte,
    Aggiungo anche la mancanza di alcuni marchi importanti come Lotus. Kia, la Alfa Romeo Giulia e Stelvio.
    Insomma GT7 ha perso la sua identità concentrndosi sulla frivolezza e sul Pay For Win. premiando con poco e richiedendo soldi veri per auto virtuali.

    Game is great fun and all but at the moment it doesn't really matter because the only online to play, the slow and grinding credit system and microtransactions make it horrible. The economics in this game is a mess. It costs you 37k for a set of racing tyres and the prize money for winning the race is 30k

Zudem will man auch in die Kiste ordentlich Geld investieren da man jetzt wieder ein ausgiebiges Tuningsystem zur Verfügung hat. Auch beim Sport Modus muss man vorher seine Autos ordentlich pimpen um überhauptAm sich ein solides Spiel, aber mit dem neuen Patch wird der Spieltag enorm gebremst. Klar, bei Sport gab es viele Blue Moon Builds um für Geld zu grinden, ein paar Bugs die man ausnutzen konnte, aber bei 7 gibt es keine effektive Methode um an Geld zu kommen, außer echtes Geld dafür auszugeben. Wenn man bedenkt das man manch teures Auto wie den R18 für 3 Mille braucht um an die Platin Trophäe zu kommen, wird das ganze Spektakel nur noch traurig. Uch arbeite so langsam mich voran und hoffe das Polyphony den Fehler einsieht und das Problem mit einem Patch wieder behebt.… Expand

    In SO many ways, this is a wonderful game. As someone who played GT1-4, but then found himself with an XB rather than a PS for over a decade, it has been a joy to get back to the series. That said, the most recent update has sucked the like out of this game for me. Once they fix in-game payouts to be reasonable and address some of the other irritations with campaign and roulettes, it will be a game I’ll recommend to friends. Until then, itMs going to cost Poly more in lost sales than it would for me to buy the McLaren. It’s sad, but I guess that’s the state of AAA gaming these days…… Expand

    Always online and excessive micro-transaction is unacceptable. I will never purchase a GT game ever. The terrible and horrid thing about always online means, Sony can just flip a switch and you no longer have a game. This is unacceptable and horrid on Sony's part. Making GT7 a live service games was one of the worst decision Sony has ever made. Do not buy this trash of a game.

IF you are able to ignore the transactions and keep your hands of spending any extra money, you get a good game so I guess your rating really is depending on your will to forgive the unforgivable. Prolongando a permanência do jogo com um sequestro financeiro com recompensas absolutamente ridículas e forçando os jogadores a permanecer no jogo muito mais horas do que os mesmos desejam. O jogo deve prender o jogador pelo que é e pela sua qualidade, não por uma visão desconectada do estúdio. A sony deveria ficar mais atenta com essas práticas e não emitir cartas-brancas para coisas absolutamente estúpidas e anti-consumidor. As práticas da POlyphony são arbitrárias contra um consumidor que apoia a franquia e paga 70 dolares pelo jogo - o mínimo que podem fazer é permitir que o usuário jogue como quiser.     The game was great fun up until the menus ended and it became apparent this game is essentially just one massive grind just to enjoy the cars you want. Then they updated it to reduce payouts.

    1. Make it not online-only. DRM f*cking sucks. I paid $70 for a physical copy of a game that I can’t play when your servers are offline. 2. Either get rid of the micro transactions, or fix the economy in the game. 3. Add the ability to put bots into online races. Racing against a buddy with ONLY your buddy REALLY sucks.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
