    The economy is not fun, the roulette hits on 5k MUCH more than the odds suggest, AI is surprisingly dumb, offline mode too limited, and the push up spend real money is far too strong and cheapens any sense of accomplishment.

    I love buying physical games for collection, but this game doesn't have any value physically because it needs to be connected to the internet to use it. This inconvenience could be fixed in a future update, but the physical version 1.0 is condemned.

    The prices of cars don't make sense, as the limited time to purchase some of them. It's impossible to enjoy a race, you start them 40s behind the leader and you have to pursue slower cars. That's not racing. Fix the starts, we want the grid and the option to classify first back.

    Finished the game in 4 days after release date, paid a lot for the deluxe edition for nothing actually. Really disappointed you can finish the game this fast. Have to drive forever now with microtransactions just to make money to buy one car or to upgrade one car. Graphics is brilliant but thats all, still playing GT Sport and preferring GT Sport.     Le jeux se fini rapidement que ce soit le café, les missions et les permis, après pour avoir les nouvelles voiture c’est super difficile, des voiture a 14 000 000 … mais ou l’ont gagne grand max 52 000 cr toute les 4 min. Ce qui est démotivant et qui gâche l’envie de jouer. Très déçus

    If you want a racing game buy Assetto Corsa. This is an overtaking simulator. No qualifying just rolling starts in 95% of the races. Start 30 or so seconds behind first place and a mad dash to come first. That's not racing. The ai is awful will do anything to stay on the racing line even spinning you out!

    Then you have the transactions. They are not micro transactions £20 is not micro.    If you want a racing game buy Assetto Corsa. This is an overtaking simulator.     Then you have the transactions. They are not micro transactions £20 is not micro. Sony and pd pushing these transactions hard by reducing payouts in races. Spend £70 on a game and then there are transactions. This isn't ea this is Sony and pd money grabbing. The game itself is gt sport 2 not Gran Turismo. Added a few licenses and the cafe is linear and not even finished. So once you've finished all the overtaking what's next? The roulette is pathetic. You have a 1 in 5 chance of winning a car. The odds are more like 25 to 1 of winning a car. I get 5000 credits which is pathetic.

    They were giving out refunds for cyberpunk 2077, they need to give refunds for this unfinished mess.    … Expand

    Really no actual update from previous version. It seems that the development team has been sleeping. Most disappointed about the road feel. It still is like driving Mario cart. The cars slides all over the road very unlike a real car on a real road. Also the most expensive game I have bought!

    I was really looking forward to this release. The game looks and plays amazing, if you're connected to the internet. So basically if you do not have internet or Polyphony servers for whatever reason are offline you cannot play a game which you have payed 70$ to play. Will we be able to play this game in 20 years?     From a prior GT series fan and actual race car driver, this is trash. The physics are unrealistic, you can't drive a RWD without TCS on or it will constantly spin and whip. The café story progression is mind numbingly boring and repetitive. The chase camera is so stiff its nauseating, the rpm gauge doesn't even read true redline or have any numbers for any car so that is useless. Just repainting a car requires custom naming a save file. Multiplayer sucks and you can't even change a track or room settings without creating an entire new room and finding your party again.
    On the plus side it has good graphics and good information about history, but all in all its an awful game and has pushed me away from the series for good. And to think I bought a PS5 strictly to get this game only to be disappointed.    … Expand

    GT7 doesn't have multiplayer&loobies and working right, it doesn't have functions that allow private championships, no save looby options.
    Too bad, I regret getting purchased.

The fact that I paid for the 25th anniversary edition and received the standard edition is insane in itself but to Nerf the game after an update I mean what the hell is wrong with you all you've shown me is that you put out a product that wasn't finished and in my eyes is crap compared to the other games but they couldn't have discussed me more if they tried and to be honest it looks like they tried all they did was polish a turd… Expand

    Très décevant... Aucune course départ arrêté sur toute la carrière, ennuyeuse et très courte. Ou sont les courses d'endurance ? Si on veut collectionner des voitures il faut farmer des heures c'est très nul. Les sensations de vitesses ne sont pas bonnes, voir la concurrence avec Ride 4 ou Riders Republic par exemple

    TLDR: Do not buy this game.

    I really wanted to like the latest incarnation of Gran Turismo. So much so I bought a PS5 (which took a bunch of work itself) to do so. After the long install and then a huge update followed by a day and a half before a 3 day outage and yet another update I finally got to what should have been smooth, fun, fast driving. Sadly that is not the case. Not even    TLDR: Do not buy this game.

    I really wanted to like the latest incarnation of Gran Turismo. So much so I bought a PS5 (which took a bunch of work itself) to do so. After the long install and then a huge update followed by a day and a half before a 3 day outage and yet another update I finally got to what should have been smooth, fun, fast driving. Sadly that is not the case. Not even close.

    The 'permanent' online 'feature' is about as stable and reliable as a recent US president. It drops out so regularly that one wonders if they are running the servers on a raspberry pi with an acoustic coupled 2600 baud modem? This wouldn't be so bad if it didn't instantly kick you out of everything you've been doing and lose your hard earned awards.

    Then there's the excessive load times between functions and features. This only exacerbates the frustration because you spend so much time just trying to carry on with the game. There is a massive lack of actual playable single player content and the multiplayer content is less playable than the previous versions. It is still annoyingly policed by some ai which has some 'creative' choices on rule application.

    The only bright spot is that the new rendering in race is beautiful, but that on it's own is not enough for the cost of a PS5 and this game.    … Expand

Not fully developed, wrong tires given for the exams, server problems for days, every update makes the game worse than better. But the worst thing is the missing career mode!     Le système de micro transaction est à revoir, maj qui favorise les transactions en argent nuisant au gameplay et bloquage du jeu pendant des dizaines d'heures.
    Je mets malgré tout 1point car un travail a été fait sur le jeu ( graphisme, sensation, manette dual sensé etc )

I have about an hour each evening to play before kids and a full time job take up the rest of my day. For that reason, the incredibly low race payouts mean I'm unlikely to ever own any of they top cars in the game. I can't grind any races due to the winnings being reduced recently, and I willI'm a 43 year old Dad of two kids. I've been playing Gran Tourismo since GT1 at Uni when I was 18. I have about an hour each evening to play before kids and a full time job take up the rest of my day. For that reason, the incredibly low race payouts mean I'm unlikely to ever own any of they top cars in the game. I can't grind any races due to the winnings being reduced recently, and I will never use my real money to buy additional cars through micro transactions (even though these aren't 'micro').
    Polyphony have turned to greed to try and generate income throughout the lifecycle of the game rather than just accept the £70/£90 that people have already paid upfront. It's a business model that has backfired spectacularly on this occasion.    … Expand

    Je suis très déçu de latitude des créateurs du jeu, lors de la dernière mise à jour...
    Le jeu est devenu une pompe à fric, même si je l'admets c'est un des meilleurs jeux de voitures de tous les temps, je n'ai même plus envie d'y jouer, c'est devenu de plus en plus dur de se faire plaisir pour acheter des voitures !
    Je modifierai sûrement ma note si ils réagissent ...

Physics on dirt tracks are totally off. Traction breakaway physics on pavement are a bit slippery. Kinda like always driving in the rain. The A.I. cars will purposely ram, and pit maneuver you, probably to take away your clean race bonuses. Severely disappointed. Been playing religiously since gt1.     I paid 90 dollars for a game that feels like it should be free for the amount cars cost they want you to use micro transactions. They force you in some cases to get ahead to the next level race if you're car does not have the parts it needs

    I remember spending hundreds of hours playing GT2 back in my youth, I ordered the collectors edition of this game for my ps5 and I am so disappointed at how difficult it is for regular people to get new cars. I already spent $122 for the game. It's going to collect dust on my shelf now. avoid this game. it's ruined.

    Gameplay is amazing, Cars look great and the old school Gran Turismo feeling is still there. Sadly SEVERELY let down but microtransactions, Inability to sell cars which given the measely payouts per race force 10s of hours of grinding or using real money to purchase microtransactions. I never thought Polyphonic Digital would go down this road but I'm sadly mistaken and disappointed.

    Game is plagued by MULTIPLE problems. Most frustrating for me...is I took off work to participate in the Manufacturers Series for Sport mode...I registered and started qualifying, then got an "unexpected error" message with no way to re-enter the event I registered for!registered

    A beautiful and fun racing game completely ruined by a scummy f2p style game economy pushing you to buy currency in a $70+ game. I bought my ps5 in anticipation of a next gen Gran Turismo. The scope and pricing of micro transactions was hidden until after reviews came out. I can’t trust this company anymore.

    Got the 25th Anniversary deluxe version and nothing to show vs the regular version. Cars are too expensive vs winnings made in races. Online game only, so if server is down, no game play for you! Micro transactions suck!! Wait til the game drops in price is my recommendation.

    Great graphics and game play but like everyone else credits way too tedious to obtain. And what's with all the old models of cars??? Thought Audi had released a few more models since the old TT. Where's the rs6, rs7 and that's the case with most manufacturers eg McLaren Volkswagen Porsche. Cmon guys!

    Broke my heart - I've been a fan from the very first game back in 97' and now greed has taken over. Snake-in-the-grass tactics. Wait for release of top review scores and then update it with championship credits cut in half.

    Total slap in the face to gamers, we need to stick together as a community and boycott this corruption that is happening in our recent times.

    Think twice before purchasing.

    The game constantly reminds you that you can top up credits with real money. The game uses psychological tricks (invites for premium cars) to try to tempt you to buy them, adds artificial scarcity into the game to pressure you to buy things - all the while constantly reminding you that you can pay real money to get credits fast. On top of that, the latest patch reduced the amount of credits earned in most of the top awarding races by a huge amount.

    It feels shady and underhanded, and I wish I could refund my copy.    … Expand

    the credits are nerved in the latest update. you have to grind... very much. if you don´t want to... you have to pay cash. spending 40 bucks on a car is no problem. this is a full price game! i payed 80 euro for this. i have a job and i need to sleep so i don´t have time to race over and over again.     Am I playing the PS original? Because GT7 certainly doesn’t feel new. The only thing worse than the PS5 is the Xbox series X! There’s a reason the Switch (much less powerful) system is winning the gaming war. Great games! Classic games upgraded to make them instantly familiar, but more advanced. PS and Xbox should be embarrassed.

    The basics of the game OK its gran turismo, its good ! BUT the campaign stops abruptly without endurance race in it. I'm disappointed with the life of the game. The difficulty of the permits and experience of the circuit is questionable. I hope next patch will be better .. Online not tested yet.

    Gameplay is good but the microtransactions are ridiculous, dosen't help that rewards were nerfed to get people to spend more $ not to mention the game is always online, bad idea for a game that's mostly single-player, wouldn't recommend this game to anybody.

So, I called PlayStation and requested for a refund. They told me they couldn’t because the game was downloaded to my console after purchased and suggested for me to reach out to the game’s developers instead.     I was big fan of this series since the first GT game. I could enjoy this game till GT6.

    In patch 1.08 PD made it harder to make in-game money by reducing race rewards in hope to force people to pay real money for buying expensive cars

    That's ridiculous.

I couldn't play the game for days and you are trying to force me to pay more in addition to the price I've already paid for the **** game.

Sony is all about being "for the players" and one of their tent-pole, marquee IPs charges MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THEIR AAA GAME for a single in-game item (any of the Legends cars)? With some in-game items costing hundreds of real world dollars in microtransactions to acquire??? The EXACT SAME in-game items that, in the previous iteration of this series, cost no more than (I think) $5????? A stunningly, jaw-droppingly short sighted cash grab with their eyes only on short term profits, not the long term health of the franchise and it's very dedicated player base. PD talks about users needing to take a long-term view of this game, but where the hell is the same behavior from PD? How could anyone there honestly expect consumers to swallow this level of raw, naked greed and not openly revolt, review bombing this game into the shadow realm? All I can do is shake my head in amazement.

    Then PD comes along after getting their initial glowing reviews and nerfs payouts of a vast majority of races, which can ONLY be ascribed to a desire to push users even more towards microtransactions. There is absolutely no other logical reason that can be given for this change - credit acquisition was already waaayyy too slow relative to the "realistic" car and parts pricing in this game, prior to 1.07.

    All the microtransaction shenanigan's aside, there are (for me) two other glaring errors here:
    1) always online for a mostly single player game (no.....just, no.....didn't Sony famously rip Xbox for always online?), and 2) I assume "forgetting" to include, you know, an actual single player campaign/career mode like in all previous main-line entries in the franchise. You know, with increasingly difficult series and championships you work your way through as you build out and upgrade your car collection. The core of the franchise, if you will.

    No lie - I thought the "cafe" mode was just the introduction portion of the game, and once I got through it I would find the actual career mode I remembered so fondly from past entries.

    I mean, what in the actual f&*%? How did this get screwed up so badly, so quickly? How did no one at PD or Sony stop and say "You know, maybe we shouldn't charge $200 worth of microtransactions for the exact same car that we charge $5 in GT Sport" or "You know, maybe there should be something structured for the single player folks to do AFTER completing the rather limited and linear cafe menus", or even "You know, we roasted the crap out of Micro$oft for making Xbox always online, so maybe it is a little too hypocritical for us to make this single player game always online, too".

You get some missions and of course the license tests but the available races are lacking in variety and never mind the low prizes (that they cut back once the Devs found out that people were grinding half ass decent money to get the stupidly priced cars!!!)

    On the car prices, sure I can **** a bit, but the actual costs of vehicles would be a moot point if the cars stayed in the dealership... like every other GT game!!!

    BTW, you can't play the game offline...??? Another blow to the gut!!!

    GT is not worth the $$$ please buy something else or save your hard earned $$$ and if you do own it... DO NOT PAY REAL $$$ for their cars!!! This is a total MTX scheme that has destroyed the gaming experience!!! Sony and PD are crooks and have ruined the game. You have been warned!    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.
