    Disappointing they felt the need to reduce race rewards in order to push the in game micro transactions. I do not have 20 hours+ available to grind for a single car nor willing to spend $500+ of my own money for one.

    This review should have an update on the nerfing of race prices to boost their microtransactions or face massive grinding. Along the way, the removal of the car sells feature even though the PS Store description says you can sell.

    Overall I cant give this game a 0, as a sim racer it's superb, I've been playing GT for 25yrs and consider myself fairly good, and the changes made in game have tested my skills and have created a need for me to learn, which is a good thing. The visuals are stunning on PS5, the sound effects are superb (which has been a big complaint in the past). However.     I'm also very disappointed in the amount of cars compared to GT Sport, especially Group 3 cars where there are many newer GT3 cars which should be added as an obvious point - for example BMW only have up to the M6 from GT Sport, whereas since GT Sport released, BMW have gone through a whole GT program cycle with the M8 and are now racing with the M4. These cars should already be in the game.

    Micro transaction !! on en a marre bordel, plus possible de jouer offline, si t'as pas internet tu l'as dans l'os et le prix des autos, vous croyez franchement que l'on va jouer plus de 100heures pour s'acheter une voiture qu'on aime.

    Graphics are fantastic. Sound quality is great. No offline play except that stupid music mode is incredibly infuriating. Micro transactions can suck it. And that god damn what feels like forever unskippable cut scene at the start is honestly the bane of my existence. Oh and no co op except after like 2 hours of game play? Corporate greed strikes again.

    GT7 is simple take your money and give you an empty game, full of microtransaction in order to buy cars for win races... the cars are more expensive than the game itself.

    Game requires always online for single player, and servers are constantly down for maintenance.

    Amazing graphics, good driving feeling poor car sounds (same as 20 years ago and compared to other racing games, bad engine sounds, sorry. I also hope they really fix the rewards system as promised in April. And sooooo many cars are missing (yes, some should come in the coming months but I REALLY miss NEW models/cars, years 2019, 2020, 2021) and not cars from the 70's, 80's, 90's.

    The new ALFA ROMEO GIULIA Quadrifoglio? There are the same cars (Alfas) since GT3 and a handfull of new cars. Way to less to be a competitive game. Some more additional issues: After exiting GT Auto menu to change wheels and would like to buy the widebody you exit to the main menu again. Annoying. Cannot change the car in the GT Auto menu. You finished changing wheels of car a) then you need to go to your garage and choose the other car and go back to GT Auto to change wheels for car b). Annoying.    … Expand

Just another franchise whose legacy has been corrupted by greed and the inclusion of excessive micro transactions.

    I was playing this game just before they rolled out their update/patch that reduced the amount of credits you earn from races as a cynical manouvre to get players to buy the in-game currency that you can buy. Now I am far less enthusiastic about playing because it will feel more grindy and tedious.     Trust is gone. I feel bad for anybody that pre-ordered this game (me included). Absolute scam because of the micro-transactions. WIth the prices of the cars this game should be a free to play and not cost 80 euros. Please do not support this kind of a scam that they are trying to pull on gamers. I wish i could get me money back.

    DONT try to earn your price ticket with a steering wheel!! GT7 ignores my buttons and i ALWAYS get the least worth price, with normale sony gamepade it works fine (besides i have there still enough bad luck and frustrating prices).

    Personally i feel like the dirt road races lack more physically correctnes, i had no fun within a single dirt race oO but this can be very subjective.

    My girlfriend which i do visit often with my ps4 has very poor WLAN , so trying to play GT7 is out of question, thanks sony. If u could at least do multiplayer with the online enforcement wiuthout psplus it would be ok somehome...but what do u expect from son *rolling eyes*

    On ps4 the menu loading time are also a little pain in the ass.

    The only thing i can critic positive, the racing tracks look & feel awsome an really up to date, i hope i will see every old track like Grindelwald, but after GT sports i feel pleased to see old tracks very early (hope this will continue but just to have fun anymore to spend more time with GT7 at the moment, THX SONY!)    … Expand

    Game play is good. Graphics are great. Micro transactions are awful when you paíd the 90 USD versión. Also the GT Auto module continúes to be developed by a different team. Look and feel. Colors, graphics.

Es ist nicht möglich mit angemessenen Aufwand ein Fahrzeug wie den McLaren F1 zu erhalten dieser kostet ingame 18.500.000 oder um die 200€ wenn man die ingame Währung tauscht. Dafür fährt man eine Ewigkeit. Das Sounddesign ist verglichen mit Spielen wie Project Cars ein schlechter Witz und teleweise schlechter als bei Gran turismo Sport.     And then you naturally grind through most of the Café menus, which are, in the end... quite short-lived. And it's the closest GT7 has to a career mode, so when you're done, you're done.     There are still a lot of missions, driving licences and such, but I see them more as extra challenges than a real story mode.

    So in the end the game will quickly feel empty, over. And with the insane grind needed to obtain rarer cars, I just don't find an incentive to keep playin it. For now. Worth to note that these multi-million cars can't even compete in the world map base events, since Polyphony Digital is yet to add races for Classics, Group 1 cars, etc...

    All in all, I feel like it's a game with a good potential, a solid base gameplay, but dramatically lacking in content, to the point that I'm just expecting the developers to genuinely finish it to make it a playable, and lovable "car culture" game like it's supposed to be, not a cash grab.    … Expand

Te deja en espera al momento de comenzar una carrera y si tienes suerte después de unos 15 minutos puede iniciar sino debes salir y esperar a la próxima carrera (que por lo general son 1 vez cada una hora en caso de una partida competitiva).     Between the grinding, the rigged Roulette system, the terrible AI and the online only bs; I am hugely disappointed. Was hoping for a good racing game for PS5, been playing GT since the original. Has been downhill since 4. Forza is by far leaps and bounds above GT in every sense. It really feels like they are trying to make you hate this game.     To do anything in this game you'll need to spend at least $200 to get one legendary car. And good luck with trying to grind the money for a car after the nerf to the amount of money you win from races.

    I'm a fan of gran turismo since the first one but this one is soooo disappointing. The IA is terrible, completely unfair. I doesn't understand how can this can, be based on the Gran turismo Sport, and still so worse.. They ruined thinds that work in GTS. I cannot understand. Dont buy this piece of S****

Every race earning 400k or more there's random rain starting at the same time you got to change tires and refuel, the rain will stop 2 laps later and there you are racing with wet tires 10 sec slower by lap against medium slick tire AI for the next 5 laps. This game you can tell was made by the most snobby smug Starbucks "I push diversity fanatically but personally I live in a gated community ;)" progressives (there is literally a 'Gran Turismo Cafe' in game) who see their customers as total morons. They are little Josef Stalin's with their online single player game that pushes microI pre ordered the 25th anniversary deluxe whatever.     Fun game, but extremely frustrating, you will frequently have to quit/restart races due to glitches and it is impossible to contact GT7 for support.

    Mission and other Sim controlled racing is crap as it rams you off the track same as real driver cheats do. Also PS5 like PS4 does not process it 100% correctly and that leaves sliding off the rack and bad brake problems. I have been using PS4, PS5 and Gran Turismo Sport too for 4+ years, thousands of miles and races. Ps4 and PS% have massive graphics memory problems mostly related toMission and other Sim controlled racing is crap as it rams you off the track same as real driver cheats do. Also PS5 like PS4 does not process it 100% correctly and that leaves sliding off the rack and bad brake problems. I have been using PS4, PS5 and Gran Turismo Sport too for 4+ years, thousands of miles and races. Ps4 and PS% have massive graphics memory problems mostly related to ramming in Live Races. I think PlayStation are crap for eSimracing, however when I can get it work properly it is great. I have to SAFE MODE and fix 3 things after each race, Update Software, then Clear Cache, then Rebuild Database only then can I hope for e proper race without errors by the console. This is the same as PS4 but no overheating and there is no Clear Cache in one. I worked all this out by use everyday for 4+ years and different racing wheels too.… Expand

    God this game is annoying. You can only play it when server are live which is never when I can play (Australia). You cannot even play couch co-op without the server live… this is just the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a game.

    It has also just become a pay to win type of game when they decided to need the credit for each circuit. Don’t buy it until the fix it

No, you must satisfy many conditions the game sets up for you, do a lot of shores that you DO NOT WANT TO DO in other to unlock races, even to unlock multiplayer, which is a major slap on the face.
    Oh, you want to play with your friend? You can't. Here, go tune up a 1965 Mini Cooper, spending 300K credits on it so that I'll allow you the next step of shores so that you can unlock the parts of the game that you actually care about. The game also obligates you to interact with a lot of bots so that you can unlock anything, the bots pop up everytime with stupid messages like "you have to stay in road to complete this challenge" all the time. This game treats you like a drooling idiot.
    Oh, did I say that this game requires an always online connection even to play by yourself? Yeah, they want to be able to push you microtransactions every time and it also means that when this game's server is down, the game is more worthless than a paperweight. Also, I buy the new Gran Turismo to play with newer cars, but this game only has 2019 & prior models. No C8 Corvette!! Oh sure, soon enough they'll sell you a DLC with newer models that already had to be on the game, it's all about charging you more money!

However the worst thing is that they want you to pay real money to get in-game credit, online race gives you about 15'000Cr, and every online race last at least 15 minutes. License tests and missions give a laughable amount of credit too. A Gr.3 car costs 450'000Cr, the last week meta car for a daily race was 1'000'000Cr. On the top of that witch 1.07 they removed the only way to grind credit (1,6 million Cr in an hour if you are good).

    Only good thing are missions and license, those are good.

    Conclusion: GT7 is just a pay to get cars GT sport with some new cars and tracks. It could have been so much better    … Expand

The economy is dire, grinding is now not even worth it, the enjoyment has gone…forcing you into micro-transactions to progress. PD says ‘take a look at the longer view’…why? New content has always been notoriously slow to arrive if at all. The original tracks, cars and spirit of GT are left out.

Unfortunately, after spending the last 3 hours waiting for it to install and download an update and sitting through a 10 minute unskippable video I now learn that the game servers are down for maintenance and because a constant internet connection is required I can't play.

    I'm very tempted to put it back in the box and return it.

    I have been playing it for a couple of days and now lost all interest.
    The constant nudging to use Microtransactions removes all the fun. It reminds me more of a mobile game than Gran Turismo.

    Imagine a top level racing simulator that doesn't even have a starting grid and every race is a rolling start. Mix that with the very predator micro transaction and the always online requirement I cannot recommend this game. At EoL any purchase or progress you have gained will be completely worthless. Then the cherry on top is you can be forced to stop playing in the middle of a race for over 34 hours just because of "maintenance" for a £70 product this is a complete joke and as someone who owns mutiple platforms and has access to Forza I cannot recommend GT7 to a regular fan only die hard fans who don't mind paying real world cash for cars they can earn in any other racing game.… Expand

    Now I like playing racing games in two ways, 3rd person , & first person. First person is beautiful way to play in this game .
    but 3rd person is like........you're playing a mobile game which means nowhere near prefiction at all.
    Why u don't have options to make camera to go left and right , it stands still.

    I mean 40 $ would be fair bout holy ****

    I bought this game and it is the most disappointing game I have ever bought for playstation. One big money grab! The game itself was 80 euro! But it is full of forced micro transactions. I've wanted my money on another cash grab game. Never Gran Turismo for me again.again

    This game is now a pay to play. I bought this game 80e on day1 and it is trully impossible to get the most beautifull cars without using my credit card. That's a shame polyphony digital, you should keep in mind that's GT7 is not a free to play.

    -Since its LIVE SERVICE you will always have access only to 4 stages and 13 cars. Rest of its content is LOCKED by sony.

    -If sony will suspend your account, you will NOT be able to play DESPITE THE FACT YOU PAID FULL PRICE TO GET THE DISC! Youll play again only the 4 stages and 13 cars. If youll choose a DIGITAL PURCHASE, things get worse

    -If a person will report your PSN+ and sony will suspend or BAN you, youll play only 4 stages and 13 cars. NO MATTER WHAT, ITS ALWAYS 4 STAGES AND 13 CARS and im not sure even if youll have access even to those 4 stages and 13 cars!!! You buy AIR.

    -You spend money for full price game and they give you AIR.Nothing. Scam

    -They put the content of GTS, with physics of GT1 .13 cars and 4 stages priced at 42 euros/$70

    The entire campaign is ruined by the horrible "café". The amount of cars it throws at you make your collection feel cheap. Dirty micro transactions. No endgame. Dirt races are a joke, you have no relationship with gravity. Mandatory online connection required at all times. Loot boxes!!! in 2022!!!

    You pay full price for a game UNFINISHED, with A LOT OF MICRO TRANSACTIONS , and a MANDATORY internet connection.
    Today is the perfect example : Servers under maintenance since 17 hours ATM. The game, even the solo mode can't be played...
    I'm a GT player from the first hours... but this is just unacceptable.

    Pros: - When the game works, the racing for the most part is pretty good. - graphics and audio are very good - makes good use of the PS5 controller (triggers have a nice resistance so it's easy to control acceleration) Cons: - The game is completely broken for me.     A horrible game. 70$ for them to force you to buy their in game currency for real money PD got greedy. for a mainline gran turismo game this is missing a lot of content and it’s got less in it then GT sport so gt7 isvery dull and plain, new update completely broke the game and ruined the in game economy.. highly wouldn’t recommend this game a complete waste of money and a pure disappointment

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
