    Unfortunately my disc repels water, so it is useless as a coaster which can be the only intended option for a game that doesn't work. Terrible money grab. Everything that you loved about this series is dead. So sad to see another great game die due to greed.

    I was really looking forward to this release. The game looks and plays amazing, if you're connected to the internet. So basically if you do not have internet or Polyphony servers for whatever reason are offline you cannot play a game which you have payed 70$ to play. Will we be able to play this game in 20 years?     You have just driven this long-awaited game full throttle into the wall. It can be doubted whether you will direct this pile of scrap again in such a way that it can be called Gran Turismo. This is the worst part of the entire series. 25th anniversary. lol

    From a prior GT series fan and actual race car driver, this is trash. The physics are unrealistic, you can't drive a RWD without TCS on or it will constantly spin and whip. The café story progression is mind numbingly boring and repetitive. The chase camera is so stiff its nauseating, the rpm gauge doesn't even read true redline or have any numbers for any car so that is useless. EveryFrom a prior GT series fan and actual race car driver, this is trash. The physics are unrealistic, you can't drive a RWD without TCS on or it will constantly spin and whip. The chase camera is so stiff its nauseating, the rpm gauge doesn't even read true redline or have any numbers for any car so that is useless. Every race starts the exact same, rolling start behind 20 cars and you have to rush and slam thru these awful AI cars that are always blocking every possible line, but its ok if you get 3rd because every race still wins you a car. Just repainting a car requires custom naming a save file. Multiplayer sucks and you can't even change a track or room settings without creating an entire new room and finding your party again.
    On the plus side it has good graphics and good information about history, but all in all its an awful game and has pushed me away from the series for good. And to think I bought a PS5 strictly to get this game only to be disappointed.    … Expand

    Game can be completed in a Day, Way too little amount of Missions, Many cars are that expensive you'd have to spend money for them. The McLaren F1 costed 1,000,000 in GT Sport or around £2.49, now in GT7 it costs 18.5 Million, with real money thats nearly £200 worth of Microtransactions. There is no need to spend Hundreds of Pounds (or whatever currency you use) to buy a car in aGame can be completed in a Day, Way too little amount of Missions, Many cars are that expensive you'd have to spend money for them. I got 2 star Roulette tickets from doing my Daily Workout and I'm Car Collector level 28. Every Roulette Ticket I use grants me the Worst Item, which is Usually 5,000 Credits, I can get 10x more in 5 minutes from races (which they NERFED). There is not a 20% chance of getting an item, it feels like a 90% of Worst Item and a 1% chance of getting a Car, 1% of getting a new Engine and the other 8% is either Invites to cars (yes you need invites for certain cars) and Upgrades for cars you don't own. When it comes to races the Payouts are Very Low making it hard to get Money, so it basically wants you to Pay to Win, like how EA and Rockstar Games has done with their recent Games (GTA 5 is the worst for Microtransactions and you know what EA is Like.) Back to Legend Cars, the prices of Some Cars are going up, Like the Ferrari F50 and Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion which have had Up Arrows next to their Price Tags, making it harder to get them. Majority of the Cars on Used Car dealership are cars I already own because I have completed ALL 39 Menu Books. Also when it comes to cars some of the cars have a low amount of Customisation Options. Most cars Widebodies are impossible to Notice, the Alfa Romeo 8C has a 100,000 widebody and it literally makes the tiniest difference whatsoever. Car handling sucks too. Rallying is Super Hard because you car decides it wants to Fly and attempt to do a back/frontflip. Another thing is that it's Online Only, people who don't own PS Plus are restriced to Doing Arcade Races with the Car they have Selected and EVERYTHING ELSE is Unavialible, in fact I have not seen a Courtesy Car Selections like Older GT Games have. Penalties are broken (AGAIN.) I watched a dude get punted off the track during a Daily Race and the Victim received a 46 second Penalty. This game is that bad it doesn't topple Gran Turismo 4, the best game of the series and on a Tier List I could put Gran Turismo 7 with Gran Turismo 3 because they are both Equally as bad, but GT7 feels Worse. I feel like GT7 is gonna get Abandoned like what EA did to NFS Heat.… Expand

    Nice job with false information about being able to sell cars.. no events to earn decent credits, barely no grid start races. But hey; at least we got sweet microtransactions and the best tuning parts gated behind random ticket roulette crap... what a Joke, thanks PD and thx Sony for allowing such BS!!!!

    I spent £50 thinking I would enjoy playing but was quickly disappointed. To earn money for the car I want I have to play for several hours or spend extra money on the game. I work and I do not have time to grind for money

    This is just ridiculous...

    A - The BLOOM from the sun in the game is way too much.
    B - Forced online play? What even happened to ye olde arcade mode that worked offline?
    C - Game does NOT feel next-gen at all to me, you can hardly notice the raytracing in the replays, and the amount of shadow pop-in is laughable.
    D - This car list is getting REALLY old.

My crappy ISP shouldn't be able to dictate if i can play a game I spent hard earned money on. i'm only about 15 to 20 hours in so the lack of credit accumulation and ability to buy and drive the best cars hasn't hit me yet but unfortunately its coming for me.     Game and mechanics, good. Physics, good. Realistic? Hell yeah. Way of progressing and rewarding system to buy cars? Kinda bad. Also, nice touch from creator to show how big of a cųnt he is and I hope his hopes of getting money from microtransactions for vc will fall to ashes. He ruined the mood and a good game.

    This franchise is something many people like me have grown up with & holds so many memories going right back to the playstation 1. Sad to see how the greedy developers have destroyed the franchise over night. My copy has been returned for a refund.

    Gameplay is amazing, Cars look great and the old school Gran Turismo feeling is still there. Sadly SEVERELY let down but microtransactions, Inability to sell cars which given the measely payouts per race force 10s of hours of grinding or using real money to purchase microtransactions. I never thought Polyphonic Digital would go down this road but I'm sadly mistaken and disappointed.

    A beautiful and fun racing game completely ruined by a scummy f2p style game economy pushing you to buy currency in a $70+ game. I bought my ps5 in anticipation of a next gen Gran Turismo. The scope and pricing of micro transactions was hidden until after reviews came out. I can’t trust this company anymore.

    Tons of micro-transactions. Every "Roulette" ticket I've gotten so far has been literally the lowest payout possible. Cars cost an unrealistic amount compared to race rewards. Plus the story of the game is insufferable. Racing mechanics and car customization/selection are the only highlights.

    Got the 25th Anniversary deluxe version and nothing to show vs the regular version. Cars are too expensive vs winnings made in races. Online game only, so if server is down, no game play for you! Micro transactions suck!! Wait til the game drops in price is my recommendation.

    Mandatory online connection for the single-player campaign means they can royally **** over the game and your access to it whenever they damn well please. And it gets way, way worse when you peel back the layers and discover just how much they've rigged this game to push microtransactions. But that online requirement means THEY decide how and when you can play the game, not you.

    I’ve been looking forward to this game for years. YEARS. And I bought my PS5 for GT7 but after playing it I can agree with all of the other reviews in that the way this game has been built is impossible to win at and is no longer fun to play. When the server went down and I could no longer play the game? That’s not ok for a game of this price.

    Great graphics and game play but like everyone else credits way too tedious to obtain. And what's with all the old models of cars??? Thought Audi had released a few more models since the old TT. Where's the rs6, rs7 and that's the case with most manufacturers eg McLaren Volkswagen Porsche. Cmon guys!

    I love this game but the crappy raffle system isn't at all fair as you'll 95 percent of the time get the smallest prize, and the recent update makes it even more of a grind fest. Further to that, you can't even play the game unless you're online on their servers... Please sort this out!

    You are basically forced to buy cars with real money. $70 ( game ) + $40 ( car 1 ) + $40 ( car 2) + $20 ( car 3)...etc. you could end up spending $500 after paying $70 for a a game. Also, THIS IS AN ONLINE ONLY GAME. You can't play without being online. Developer and Sony screw the gamers over by reducing the payout and increase the car cost. STAY AWAY FROM GT7 until they have fixed this.

    I had a plan in how I would finish the game one by one, first play trough the GT cafe than all Gold in the license test than all Gold in the missions than than finish 1st in all Event Races than all Gold in the Circuit Experiences and last a platinum trophy.
    After I finished all the steps except the Trophies, I checked what I need for the platinum Trophy and I realized that with update    I had a plan in how I would finish the game one by one, first play trough the GT cafe than all Gold in the license test than all Gold in the missions than than finish 1st in all Event Races than all Gold in the Circuit Experiences and last a platinum trophy.

    I lost my joy to play anymore, thanks PD for your greed for the monetization.

    First racing game I've bought since GT2. I'm an adult now and don't have much time to play but wanted to give this ago as I played it with my siblings and father. While I enjoy the gameplay, I don't understand why every car isn't unlocked by default in some "free-play" & co-op mode.     They have roulette tickets that are earned by driving 40 odd kms each day but the spins are rigged. Generally 4 out of 5 spins you will collect the least valued prize on the wheel.
    If you have poor internet connection you can forget about playing this game even as a solo player because they make most of the game inaccessible.
    Did I mention the maintenance downtime? One time it was down - making it nearly unplayable for 32 hours.

With prizes halved. This is a joke. In professional motorsport you need to buy all kinds of racing tires. Make us buy every single set to use ...     Cafe mode isn't what we asked for, why can't they just realise an updated version of the first game. The roulette feels decided for you, cannot sell your cars. The update that stopped being able to play for a day and a half. I just expected so much better!

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
