    A clear cash grab. Crippling drm and micro transactions. This game has destroyed a classic series. It's sad to see this franchise fall so far. This game is unplayable imo. Don't waste your money.

    MTX in a full priced game? Always online in a single player game? Adjusting in-game monetization so players have to pay real money to get the cars they want, without insane grind? Sony and Polyphony you done effed it up. Sad times.

Longevity is clearly their goal.. slave away for hours every day of your life and maybe you’ll come close to unlocking most of the cars. Update and half the credits? This company is insane. I think it’s time to demand refunds because this is ridiculous and should not be tolerated by the community. It’s greedy and unethical. Fix the credit system so people can enjoy the game.… Expand

    I was so excited for a new, numbered Gran Turismo. It was such a fun and enjoyable game on launch, but the recent update has completely ruined the game. Microtransactions, making progression harder, always online, and removing the ability to sell cars nuked the game.

    Sad, Polyphony used to be great (as was Sony), but they've been ruined by corporate greed. RIP great single-player,    I was so excited for a new, numbered Gran Turismo.     Se han cargado el juego. Antes era complicado obtener créditos pero ahora es un pay to win . 80€ para tener que seguir pagando para obtener coches. He solicitado el reembolso en Amazon porque no es lo que yo he comprado anunciaron un juego con unas características pero ahora es un pay to win

They keep telling me that that that's to convey the real life rarity of certain cars and how even if you had money you cant buy them, but in this game a mckaren f1 would cost a 180$ in micro-transactions!! what kind of teality are they talking about, This game is nothing more than the battlefront 2 of racing games.     $125 game with microtransactions, updates after the game releases that nerf race payouts and make premium currency seem more enticing. Strict DRM and 24 Hours of outage. This game is a mess, dont support Sony or Polyphonic. Make them hurt

What a load of baloney, if you really cared about people playing the game and not finding an easy way to get cars you wouldn't include microtransactions which is the easiest way to get cars you hypocrite.

    25 years later and the A.I is still dumb as YOU KNOW WHAT. I strictly enjoy this game as a single player carrer game I hardly touch online yet this game requires a active connection. Such a shame. Still better the. Sports. :-)

    We’ll start by saying this game has wonderful graphics, great physics, and awesome realism overall. Unfortunately, all of that is ruined by the micro-transactions and the currency system implemented. I’m not exaggerating when I say it is awful. There are no races that net you 100k and if they come close to that amount, it’s a 20-30 min race. But most races don’t get earn you more thanWe’ll start by saying this game has wonderful graphics, great physics, and awesome realism overall. Unfortunately, all of that is ruined by the micro-transactions and the currency system implemented. I’m not exaggerating when I say it is awful. There are no races that net you 100k and if they come close to that amount, it’s a 20-30 min race. But most races don’t get earn you more than 30-50k. Now, that being said, some cars (all the good ones) cost over a million. The most expensive I’ve seen so far in the Legends shop being 18.5 million in game credits for the mclaren f1 and there are many others over the 10 million credit mark. Now, are we expected to grind away at the same races over and over again for *literally* 60-100 hours for one car? I guess so. BUT, polyphony and Sony have a way around that: Micro-transactions! That’s right, that $70 you paid wasn’t enough to get even close to driving most of the cars in game, pal. Now let’s do some basic math. If GT7 charges $20.00 USD of your hard earned American dollars for 2 million in-game credits, you’d pay $185 USD to buy that one car. How wonderful is that? I might as well start saving up for a real life mclaren F1 at this point instead of being able to get all the cars in-game. Oh, and let’s not forget the upgrades for the cars that should normally cost you 100-200k in game credits to get up to speed and competitive. Then, there’s the car invitations. I love these things. Let’s say you were rich out of your mind and spent all of your hard earned (or mommy and daddy’s hard earned) cash, and you had the in game credits to buy that 3.6 million dollar Ferrari. Well guess what? Too bad. You have to be “invited” in the game to buy it. Because money wasn’t enough, you to have to grind it out until the game decides you can buy it. Oh and let’s say you get an invitation to buy that 4 million dollar car and you don’t have the money (you never will, you’re almost always floating around with 200-400k at most), we’ll again, too bad. You have 2 weeks to buy that car or the invitation is gone and you won’t have the opportunity to buy it again. Yep. I hate this game. Luckily, I have a gaming PC and will be buying forza Motorsport 8 when that comes out or stick to forza horizon 5 for now, unless polyphony decides to FIX THE FREAKING GAME. greedy people, unreal.… Expand

    You can not play offline ( only music mode), so if they decided to kill the server, you lose your game.
    The micro-transaction is awful. you pay almost 100 bucks for the game to grind. However the intentionally nerf the grinding part. so.....

    My god, this 1.08 update makes this even more an f-in grind. Payouts are cut, can’t sell cars, insane amounts for rare cars. I play this to acquire cars I can’t afford in real life not to grind for a week to get a car. I got a job and real life responsibilities. So sorry that I bought this digital. Would not buy in the current state.

    It's a lovely game on the surface but the foundation and policies need a lot of work. I remember in GT1 when you could modify your supra to a 1000ps (that's right!) and drag race it! That was a fun grind. All that spark is now gone. All that craziness that gave the game so much character has been stripped in favour of 'professionalism' and 'sophistication'.

    You need to work hard and a lot to be able to buy this game and then you need to keep working harder in real life so you can afford new cars or any other stuff in the game.

    I am normally a huge fan of PlayStation first party titles like Gran Turismo. I bought this thinking it would work but I have a spotty internet connection and this game keeps telling me I’m in offline mode and doesn’t let me continue with my progress. Absolute headache. I regret buying this game. If you are considering it… don’t. The always on features ruins it.

    Ruined by "micro-transactions" however micro really isn't the correct word considering I already spent a ridiculous $150 on the game and now to buy the current 5 legend cars it would cost $550 AUD. At this point, Polyphony is just taking a dump on its customers.

    When they said real driving simulator I didn't want it to be so realistic that I can't afford the cars...

    First of all they took the game from Russian players after release. Added microtransactions, increased the cost of in-game purchases and require a permanent internet connection. This game would be 9/10 if not all of the above for 90 $.

Los coches se ven increibles si, pero la falta de contenido es alucinante, las fisicas de los coches no han cambiado desde GT4 practicamente. Hay los micropagos... 2 millones 20 euros, hay coches que cuestan 18.500.000...es inacceptable! Y encima van y te actualizan el juegoHabeis matado, escupido y enterrado una se las mejores sagas de todos los tiempos, no hay por donde cogerlo.     the worst game from sony, shame on playstation, after horizon 5 on xbox I was waiting for a response from sony with a cool race, but got the old grand tourism sport with phone-level graphics. So it's destined that Sony hasn't had normal races for 10 years already, thanks to the dirt 5 hoyabs, sold the PS5 after this race and stayed on the xbox. Sony gets into politics, but you have to make games!

    For the game to have a very high asking price and then force you into spending extra money for credits makes me feel taken advantage of. I feel that GT7 is praying on people and their nostalgia for the series during the PS2 era.     The game feels personally made by its creator but comes off as arrogant and biased. Japanese cars and manufacturers are given an inflated and unrealistic standing in car history. Nissan GTR is not in the same league as Porsche or Ferrari, as this game would have you believe.

    There is noticeable lack of classic manufacturers or cars that are historically relevant that have appeared in past games like TVR, Lotus, Lancia Stratos, Morgan, and more.

    Don't play online(no desire to), yet constantly getting d/c and have to grind cr for a $70 game. Offline users shouldn't have to care or deal with anti cheat and cumbersome realism, what next? Going to add gas and real price to reflect on that too? I'm done with greed, back to Assetto Corsa. Good bye my beloved childhood game.

    Real driving simulator? Really? 2 steps down from all what make GTS perfect. There are too many bad things, like nonsense power increasing and totally confused setting, but ok. It is only game.     Mise à jour 1.08 catastrophique. Les développeurs forcent au pay to play. Il faut passer par les micro-traductions pour débloquer certaines voitures. Le farming est quasi impossible. Pour jouer au jeu que j'ai payé 80 euros il me faut une connexion internet. Il va se passer quoi quand les serveurs vont fermer ??? Mon jeu je ne pourrai jamais le revendre !!! Dégoûté de cette licence du coup

    2. To decrease the CR payout and use the lame excuse that this would reflect the real difficulty in earning exotic cars is nonsense. It's a video game or a fantasy to drive cars, to apply a change of currency earned after a patch is shocking, I can only see this as a move to push your user base to be more inclined to purchase Cr from your store.

    3. The Cr packages are insane. I worked out that in order to buy a car valued at 2,000,000 plus, it would cost around $40 - the same car could be purchased on GT sport for $5.

    4. Since the patch, the ability to sell used cars has been removed, again making it difficult for gamers to purchase cars which means more insanely grind times or purchasing overpriced credit packages from the online store.

    You should be ashamed of how you treated your loyal fan base. This will no doubt hinder your reputation with your fans after this stunt and a free bit of advice.. although I should charge you DLC in order to hear this. Sack your PR team! Economy in this game is horrible. What polyphony digital and Sony did with the recent 1.07/1.08 patch makes me mad.     Besides losing graphically to a game that is already 5 years old (Forza Motorsport 7) this GT 7 has everything negative to not work, online only + micro transactions.
    I see this game as a service and that's something that doesn't interest me, what a disappointment.

    Very expensive for a game that doesn’t work at all when the servers go down. The offline mode is useless and the business model of pushing people to pay for even more via micro-transactions unless they play for hundreds of hours is disappointing from a series I’ve always enjoyed playing.

    The actualy driving is great, no better driving game.

    Played through single player mode in 4 sessions. Now what?

    Do the three daily (actually weekly) online races over and over?

    Got from slow FF cars to supercars in a couple of hours. Way to easy to make money and way to quick progression.

    The old classic GT games lasted months of grinding to get the cars and progress.

Unfortunately its plagued with problems, and there was no clear statement of the online only requirements of the game in any review I have read/watched. $60 for a game that is unplayable when they tank their servers trying to reduce payouts in races?     Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
