    Update 1.07 is a disgrace. Cutting races rewards by half and asking 40$ to buy a car with credit it's ridiculous especually when you pay 60$ for the game.... Shameless and greedy developer.

    I got this game and was looking forward to playing it. Unfortunately I don't have a steering wheel set up so you are a disadvantage with a controller and if you want to gold all the missions and tests without being some sort of god at the game you ain't doing it. There is tuning in the game which is good but the game don't explain it qny of it. The story is very short. Then you just haveI got this game and was looking forward to playing it.     It wouldn't be so bad if they were clear before the release that you'd either have to pay real money for for expensive credit packs, or grind events for hours and hours while earning measly rewards.     I just bought my PS5, at a premium, and also T300 RS because people saying GT7 was a great racing game. But I now feel totybetrayed after the latest patch ruins the game. It becomes insanely difficult to earn credit to buy and tune cars. Unless you pay real money to buy credits, it is almost impossible to buy some fancy cars. Now we are being played by the game rather than we play theI just bought my PS5, at a premium, and also T300 RS because people saying GT7 was a great racing game. Every patch created new and even more severe bugs. Cannot imagine the latest update made the game unplayable for more than 1 day and some poor players even lost their save and progress. In the first place, always online for single player is unnecessary and counterproductive.

    Un juego que no es tuyo que hay que pagar que no es disfrutable repetir una carrera 10 millones de veces pa un coche. Que sony te lo quita como si no hubieras pagado para bajar las recompensas y obligarte a comprar con dinero real algun carro. Y que tras de eso no sirve el

    Super scummy move. Microtransactions were not available when most people reviewed the game prior to release. With the latest update they have decreased payouts to try to push people into buying credits. You can't sell the cars that you earn or buy. Game can only be played online. They have ruined one of the greatest racing series of all time.

Basically any reasonable way to try to earn credit to buy or tune cars are now being driven towards paying out of your pocket after paying up front.     Me parece una vergüenza estar mas de un día sin poder jugar por culpa del mantenimiento. para el señor YAMAUCHI, lamentable el NERFEO para conseguir créditos y a si tener que hacer microtransaciones para conseguir coches.     DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! What a joke. What a shame. I was so excited to play what was supposedly 'The greatest driving sim', but what we got instead was a MTX mess. Shame on the board for encouraging microtransactions and whoever decided 'always-online' is a good idea. I hope they fix this game, until then I'll be playing Forza. I'm returning GT7 to best buy tomorrow :(

To be honest, how can you earn let say 3m credits to buy a car with invitation (that means with deadline) by earning them in the game? And the server down for over a day? Sony are better than this, come on!

    Most cars are 500k or lower but costs to upgrade will add up significantly.

    One of the daily race was to race with 60s hatchbacks, and while everyone was driving the Mini, I've decided to ramp up the 500 and spend 90k upgrading. oh boy how I was wrong, it's **** and slow as well and Minis just beat me. Was it worth it, def not, but that's the part of the fun. HOWEVER, to gain back 90k I had to go other races like 4-5 times.

    The game does not give you room for wasting credits, as in make some stupid upgrade decision,s buy some ****ty old car and bring to race etc. You follow the pack and grind more or you have to grind again AI ****ty drivers that literally rams you and throws you off course. (yeah this is the WORST AI drivers I've ever seen)

    and always online is ok, but multi-players should be open, gosh the network check is stupidly slow and aggressive. (takes over few min to give up the check and finally let me in to the game when the back end was down) bloody hell, when login/check times out (in 30sec or so) just move on, why wait on the screen for longer? who designed this network client?

    Just too many flaws (not because of MTX) but systematically. 2/10 game for me.    … Expand

    I consider GT4 to be the pinnacle of the series. Content in every game since should have at least the same content on release as GT4. I am not talking about the car count. The events available to race should be comparable. Low payout races that drive players toward an extremely overpriced MTX system that should not be in the game at all. SMH...GT is dead.

    Game is Good, driving feels amazing, but... There is always but. I regret buying it for a full price. Game is grindy and with latest patch gets even more grindy. Race rewards cuts Goes to 40%, cars are expensive compared to gt sport. I dont recomend buying it, at least for now, because what is waiting for you there is dissapointment l.

    Es vergonzoso lo que Poliphony y Sony hicieron con este juego, entre que sin servidores tienes un posavasos de 70€ y que una vez terminas el modo café para conseguir un coche decente ahora hay que correr el doble de carreras han arruinado la experiencia.
    Es una pena, estaba encatado con la sensación inicial de un nuevo Gran Turismo y ahora mismo no tengo ganas ni de poner el disco en la    Es vergonzoso lo que Poliphony y Sony hicieron con este juego, entre que sin servidores tienes un posavasos de 70€ y que una vez terminas el modo café para conseguir un coche decente ahora hay que correr el doble de carreras han arruinado la experiencia.

    Tis game turned too bad into a pay to win. It's now almost impossible impossible to earn money (i'm lvl 33 and i finished the career) and buy news cars. The update made it impossible to play even in single player because the servers were down. I don't recommend buying this game until any major update whe could improve the money earnings

    Worst game ever! After you spend 60 dollars, you can't even experience the full game, you have to spend weeks to get the vehicle you want. Want the car right away? Enjoy the in game purchase. Nice try Sony! If you really wanna it this way, just make it free like any other games on mobile device. DO!NOT!BUY!THIS!

    What will you do with your 10year old copy of GT7 after the server shutdown? You can throw it into the bin.

You are unable to enjoy the game to be a car collector, you are only able to paying Sony in order to get enough money to try out these legacy dream cars. Do not buy the game unless you have deep pockets in the real world and you are bored from using your money on your actual car

Their attempts at mimicking the real world sadly end there. You’ll always start last on the grid, even when the race is only a couple of laps and you can’t sell any vehicles whatsoever.

    Paying customers of Gran Turismo 7 briefly had the opportunity to earn approximately 1.8 million credits per hours by grinding a particular race. 1.8 million credits is approximately £15 of purchased in game credits. With some vehicles costing as much as 20 million credits, it’s clear that the only way of obtaining them is by exploiting the paying customers time or personal finances.
    This already dire situation was made ADMITTEDLY worse by its creators when they slashed the prize money of the grind race by HALF. This means that the more expensive cars require either £150+ of additional purchases (per car) on top of the game you already paid £70 for.. or it means you have race on track for 20+ hours *winning every race, every time without a collision.*

    The rotten cherry on top of the traumatising GT7 experience is a reminder of how much focus was put into customer enjoyment as opposed to customer exploitation. The cherry; this single player career-mode oriented game can ONLY BE PLAYED ONLINE. They didn’t even code the game to facilitate an offline mode. Do you get it? They either A) didn’t notice the blunder because they were focused on the side of things that exploits the player, or B) didn’t change it because it didn’t effect their exploitation model. There’s been 3 updates to tend to their exploitation - none for the gaming experience.
    Has that sunk in? Don’t worry if it hasn’t sunk in yet. The next time the servers are down and you can’t access ‘your’ content, you’ll have days to contemplate why you need to be online to play a single player game. This will lead to the eventual awareness that every time the servers return from a weekend off, the all essential prize money will have been reduced once more and you feel slightly less like a human being.

    Gameplay; the cars handle great. They don’t crash and they jump like balloons in a gale. They all sound ‘tinny’. Realistic? No. I wish I could say otherwise but, No.

    Career options; you CANNOT buy new alternative engines; you can only win them after winning a prize ticket (the odds are so low that you can basically write off engine changes). Like seriously - forget it, you won’t be dropping an RB26 in an old S13 anytime soon. You can also spends millions upon millions on concept cars that aren’t eligible for any events which makes them *literally* useless. Literally.

    Oh yeah.. and the spokesman for GT7 doesn’t address any of its customers issues. Because they only want MMOONNEEYY

    Overall; this is not a game. It’s a carefully thought out business plan which was reviewed by review companies prior to GT7 revealing their intended paywall which is over 700% more expensive than their previous customer exploitation. The whole idea here is to get every customer to spend a minimum of $/£100+ with the initial purchase and in game purchases. While the creators refine and tweak their exploitation model, they’re aiming to make no less than 5 billion dollars out of us.. er.. I mean GT7

    I’m fascinated by what is happening. Fascinated by the younger audience who think micro transactions are an acceptable requirement on top of something they have already purchased. Is masochism. These people are the future.. is this how they think the world works? By misleading people into binding agreements that they can’t escape unless they abandon?.
    GT7 sums up life and community right now. It’s all about money and ignorance. Now i’m gonna go and play Dirt and appreciate the sentiment of its creators.    … Expand

The money flows a lot slower than in any GT game and you are forced    The worst entry in the series yet.

    Let's start with the gameplay, The racing itself is obviously still fine, but let's be honest, there wasn't much to do here either. It's basically still the same as GT Sport. So let's keep "they didn't mess that up" as a positive for the game.

    What is a lot worse is the progression. The money flows a lot slower than in any GT game and you are forced to visit the annoying café after every little step of progress you make in the game, to confirm it there, otherwise, nothing will be unlocked, no matter how much you win. It's just an endless drag and you get nowhere.

    Now, if you're like me and don't care much for the career and just want to do some races, why not use the arcade mode? Well, that's because it's gone. Not completely, but they made it pretty much useless. You can't just start the arcade mode (no, the music rally mode doesn't count, I want a real arcade mode, like, you know, GT always had?) and do some races. You have to go to the track in the world map and pick "arcade race" there. Of course, you only can pick tracks you already unlocked in career.

    So, instead of being able to chose every track and every car (almost IIRC, I think some cars were not available in the old arcade modes), you are limited to use what you unlocked in the career.

    Let's go back to the progression "why has it gotten so slow?" you might ask. The easy answer is: Microtransactions, Sony wants to sell you these, and if earning money in the game is too easy, no one will buy them. And it seems like, really no one bought them, because Sony released an update now. "Oh, did they lower the prices?" you might ask. Sorry, but no, the microtransactions - actually, "micro" isn't the right term any more, in case of GT7 it's macrotransactions - did not get cheaper, but to make players buy them, Sony reduced the money you can earn in the game with their latest update.

    The whole game is just a money making scheme for Sony. They don't care about the players, they care about the money. They even dropped the free update option, if you're upgrading from PS4 to PS5.

    So, if you're on PS5 and want to play the PS5 version there, it's not only the most expensive game in the series, but it also forces you pay even more money, if you don't want to spend an absolutely unreasonable time grinding for in game money.

    Oh, and I didn't even get into the always online stuff. If your internet isn't available, or Sony's servers are down (which is probably more likely, considering the quality of Sony online services), you can not play the game, except for the useless music rally mode. This is absolutely insane. This means, that the game will be a dead weight, once Sony decides to stop supporting it in a few years.

If want to support a micro transactions game I'd go to a Free To Play game. Can't understand why a full price game is built to make you pay a lot in micro transactions if you want to enjoy the game fully.     I have loved Gran Turismo since GT2. GT4 is my bread and butter and I purchased a PS3, so I could play GT5 and GT6.

    I purchased a friend's PS4 in order to play GT7 as soon as possible. I wasn't blown away by the different things they've added like the cafe menu books and lack of different racing series. The server was down for more than 24-hours within the first few weeks for a game    I have loved Gran Turismo since GT2. GT4 is my bread and butter and I purchased a PS3, so I could play GT5 and GT6.

The reward tickets are weighted toward the lower level prizes and microtransactions are pushed in that cars are outrageously expensive and reward credits are low.

    Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a huge GT fanboy. Not so anymore.

    Sony/Polyphony, let us say that you had a kid that loved racing games and that you made racing games. They come to you saying they need to use more of their own money to get a car they want and you are telling them that it's too bad and they should pay the money.

    Now, the servers being down and the game not really being playable offline is something I can live with. It’s a flaw for sure, but not a big one if you ask me. The changes with the economy and the credit pay-outs are what feels like a real slap in the face to me. For the total 18 race events, only 2 received a credit-buff. The rest have been nerfed so much that the general time it takes to make credits in this game has been doubled, at least…

    It’s painfully obvious that this has been done in an attempt to make it even harder for players to collect cars and push them towards the microtransactions. It’s such a shame that it all developed into this. The 1.08 patch truly cripples the entire game and the experience that it offers, or should I say “offered”. I find it funny that this happens now, two weeks after the launch when all of the official reviews are already out.    … Expand

Habe nach fast 14 Tagen keine Lust mehr auf das Spiel und noch keine 2 Stunden Spielzeit. Habe auch nicht das Gefühl was zu verpassen. Kann man darauf verzichten. Eine Riesen Hype um nichts.

    Was mich richtig ärgert, habe das Spiel als Download aus dem Store gekauft und kann es somit weder zurück geben noch verkaufen .....

    La ou les choses se compliqué c'est quand on se décide de se faire un garage garnis de nos véhicule préféré. Pour    Malgré qu'il soit qu'une grosse maj de GT Sport, il reste très plaisant à jouer. Les permis, missions et gt café sont sympa à réaliser bien que le contenu solo reste très pauvre à l'heure actuelle. La conduite est très fun et le changement de dénivelé offre de bonne sensation.

    La ou les choses se compliqué c'est quand on se décide de se faire un garage garnis de nos véhicule préféré. Pour s'offrir les quelques 400 véhicules (- la petite centaine offerte avec les différentes activités du mode solo), il ne faudra "que" quelques centaines voir milliers d'heures de jeu (pour 1 demi million/heure avec une très bonne optimisation du temps + bonus "course parfaite" ou alors "que" 2 000€ (a 20€ pour 2M Cr) pour se les offrir via micro transaction. A savoir un peut moins de 200M Cr pour s'offrir tous les véhicules. A condition aussi d'avoir l'argent nécessaire lorsqu'elles apparaissent dans le garage occasion ou qu'on obtiennent l'invitation (à durée limitée afin encore une fois de forcer la main).

    Alors oui ce jeu perdurera dans le temps et donc il faut trouver un juste equilibre pour eviter de tout obtenir en 2 minute. Mais il y a une difference plutot notable entre tout obtenir en 2 minutes et 2 ans (ou alors avec un petit coup de pouce avec la CB)... Mais encore faut il que des joueurs soit encore sur ce jeu au vue de l'évolution qui est visiblement souhaité pour ce dernier.

    Gran Turismo 7 est un très bon jeu qui ne demande qua s'étoffer mais malheureusement pourrait sombrer à cause de son modèle économique qui est, en restant polis, fortement discutable.    … Expand

    Being generous because I loved the quality of the gameplay / graphics / sound. Microtransactions were already bad enough before they nerfed the prize money. My friend bought the game during maintenance and still hasn't played it get due to that downtime too. He deleted it after reading about it.

    I loved this game when I bought it, but the most recent update has made it so that I potentially have to pay out of my own pocket hundreds of dollars to enjoy the higher end cars. This is unacceptable and is a major disappointment. I don’t want to play anymore due to the greed of the developers and I feel like the spirit of the game is corrupted by their selfishness.     Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
