    The GT series has been a game I've followed since my childhood, the one and only racing game my friends and I all grew up on, and still follow as adults now.

    The launch of GT7 in comparison to the past games is unbelievably disappointing, to name a few: * Parts of the game showcased in the lead up to the launch are unavailable - unable to sell cars * A heavy amount of content is locked    The GT series has been a game I've followed since my childhood, the one and only racing game my friends and I all grew up on, and still follow as adults now.

    Well Metacritic banned Protonmail email domains lmfao. Gran Turismo 7 in terms of graphics is awesome. I haven't played it much and really didn't think too much of it. After hearing about what happened with 1.07/1.08 updates, I decided to take a step back from the game. What I think the game needs is some content like Gran Turismo 4 had. Gran Turismo 4 was the last GT game I played and IWell Metacritic banned Protonmail email domains lmfao. Gran Turismo 7 in terms of graphics is awesome. I haven't played it much and really didn't think too much of it. After hearing about what happened with 1.07/1.08 updates, I decided to take a step back from the game. What I think the game needs is some content like Gran Turismo 4 had. Gran Turismo 4 was the last GT game I played and I think it would be best to go back in that direction some and reintroduce that kind of content. Making car prices in the game is unrealistic. We play games to escape from the world not be in it. I also hate grinding something that is supposed to be relaxing. I already grind in MMOs. I don't got time to grind a racing game with little to no content according to content creators. Oh and bring back Chamonix, that was my favorite rally race.     Waiting to see a previous version of GT7 again. Introduced lately the cynical microstransactions strategy in such a pricey game is unacceptable. I would probably return my digital copy, if I could do this.

    The essence of GT series (excluding, of course, the infamous GT Sport) is experimenting the sensation of driving a lot of different cars. The micro transactions skyrocket the game cost, if you still wanna have the same sensation. This is a demo game.

    Have played and enjoyed every iteration since GT1. Until now. Broken economy leading to joyless grinding and/or predatory microtransactions. Poor variety of competitions, weird interface for said competitions - and what is up with those dirt physics?

    The unreasonably long grinding (and this from someone who enjoyed the real-time 24-hour races of yesteryear), the absolute money grab of the microtransactions (this game is expensive as is, I mean, come on!) have completely undermined and destroyed this wonderful series.

    The game experience is wholly ruined and any talk of “community” is shamelessly hypocritical PR blather. I am genuinely saddened that I’ll never get to enjoy playing Gran Turismo again. There is no joy left in it, just profit.

    I've played Gran Turismo since the first one. This game is NOT the series that I have loved for almost 20 years. Micro transactions have ruined this game. Cars are insanely expensive and the races give abysmal rewards. I regret buying this game and wish I could still get a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

    Refunded it right back. Stop treating buyers like nothing more than a wallet.

    I haven't bought a Gran Turismo game since GT3 so I figured with the critical review score so high it would be safe to preorder the 25th anniversary edition. The game I got looked like GT but it played terrible and has micro transactions. What is this thing? It requires me to be online to play the single player? I'm so confused about what they shipped me.     If this is a real driving simulator, then I want the world to be an arcade machine, the physics are horrendous. I strictly use a Logitech G923PS on my PS5, I can only drive/control FF, AWD and Race cars, anything else that is driven by the rear wheels just spins out and loses control way too easily, most of my gaming hours and currency has been put    Beautiful Game, Horrible Physics.

    The game was fun and enjoyable at the beginning, then the infamous 36+ hour update completely ruined the game. Not only people find out that we can't play 99% of the game offline, but the biggest issue is the way they nerf the credit payout on many races so people would have to buy credits using real world money. Now it takes much much longer to earn credits in the game. Such a greedy company.

    I'd rather collect all 20 versions of the Mazda MX-5 in GT4 than playing this video game version of the absurd real-life classic car market where cars are mere investment goods. This has nothing to do with the appreciation for car culture.
    Gran Turismo used to be a role play game with deep economic mechanics that made you think twice before spending your in-game credits. It felt so close to home because it featured things like your neighbors Mazda 323 or the Lupo Cup, a small racing series that really existed.

    I am shocked Sony and PD didn't wait longer to amass much better user reviews before pulling the rug out from under everyone and reducing racing purses and pushing microtransactions. I should not be pouring more money into a $70 game, that is absurd.

So it is pointless trying to play when it requires permanent internet connection to even play campaign. Also, gaining money is super tedious. There is a good amount of circuits but there is only few events you can play for each tracks. I paid $90 for the anniversary edition, I shouldn't have to pay *anything* more than that. It's the same BS that sports games like Madden '22 and NBA2K22 are pulling, with their card collection games. It's really sad that consumers are not standing up to EA, Sony, Polyphony, Visual Concepts and every other video game manufacturer that puts out a $60+ game and then charges microtransactions for things that should be included in the original purchase. Then to make matters even worse, you *have* to be online at all times in GT7. This is a BS requirement. I paid money to play this game whenever I want, not to have to be online all the time.

A 1.5 metric ton car with 250hp should not spin at 80km/h on a dry track by giving it full throttle. Its just frustrating and i hope Polyphony Digital has just a bug in their grip model. Not many new racetracks for a game that was this long in the making, but okay, Racetracks can be added later on. (hopefully not as payable add on) the rain effects look laughable for a game of the next gen. The Graphics are also not very next gen. In Replay it looks good, but not while racing. So no real step up from GT sport. The game still has antialiasing! as a next gen game. So unfortunately many things are not next gen here so that also played into my decision to give this game only 2 points. But the “feel” of the racing for me is the biggest issue. A game should be fun and not only hard. Sorry PD, you have to give this game a major update first. Otherwise i could see myself enjoining this game a lot if these issues were not there.… Expand

    I was so excited when I finally got to play a game I have played ever since it’s first episode. However it is such a disappointment. No depth to the game at all, awful Cafe part which not only forces you to complete random races they are all single races. No depth to the game and no need to even get the licenses to complete all the races. No series races    How to exploit loyal customers!

    Físicas malas y microtransaciones que de micro algunas no tienen nada, además las carreras diarias mal organizadas en donde solamente puedes usar un compuesto (normalmente duro,) cuando en el gts sport muchas veces te obligaban a usar dos distintos en carrera y podías hacer un poco de estrategia.

    Started with the first ever Gran Turismo and i fell in love with it. 2022 and Gran Turismo 7 got released. This has to be the WORST GT game i have ever played. Pushing MTX, game has no content at all. I literally finished this game in 2 days. Game economy is very broken. Don't buy this game unless it's for sale.

    Graphics are good. Force feedback is shoddy. Cafe mode ends easily. No desire to collect cars. EXA Canopy is not included. The intention of making the player connect online all the time is unclear. If you bought an expensive steering wheel controller for GT7, enjoy Asset Corsa Competizione and Dirt Rally 2.0. Kazunori Yamauchi should be Yubitsume.

    I really wish I could say something good about this game but honestly everything about it is horrible. Yes it's a money grab game, yes you can't sell the cars. The glitches are numerous. It's not even better than GT sport which is disappointing. Everything you heard is true. It sucks. I want my money back.

    Reality is, gran turismo 7 is not a game but a service. Its disk has only 4 stages and 13 cars. It has roulete, im not kidding you, it has roulete. It has macro and micro and mega transactions. Throw in a bunch of extra microtransactions, INCREASE the prices of them AFTER journalists publish their reviews and you have now eroded customer trust to the point that you deserve a 0/10

    I have grew up on Gran Turismo series and first time played it on my PS1 years ago. I've owned each version ever since. Somehow I completely missed out on the "always online" requirement of this game.
    Few days ago game servers went offline and extended "maintenance" period has been going for over 24 hours locking out all of the gamers from accessing Single Player component of this game. There's not much "Racing" involved since it starts you so far back, you just blow by all AI cars to try to catch the leader far in front of you. Assist are garbage and you will always be turning them on/off. Online is lame, feels dated.     Hay tantas cosas malas en este juego que solo voy a escribir lo siguiente, las torretas del need for speed high stakes de play station 1 si se ven reflejadas de noche en las paredes y carretera, aquí 25 años después es más importante pagar cantidades ridículas de dinero y las torretas son fantasmas que incluyen un agujero negro que hace que la luz no salga de los focos

Where GT7 falls flat on its face is the grind and severe lack of reward for buying cars in what is meant be a car collecting game. I will rate this game 90+% as soon as these race rewards and payouts are addressed. To even buy 1 rare car could take 2 weeks of grinding. To make matters worse the developers needed the races being used to grind cash in a pure money grab to try and get users to pay for credits. Katz I love your games but this micro transaction drive on something I paid 150aud for is a joke… Expand

    Disgusting, predatory and anti-consumer practices. It's beyond words how disappointing this is for what was for decades the greatest racing series available. I hope there is a day where we can play offline without any microtransactions but the reputational damage being done right now feels equivalent to the death of a family member. Trust is easily lost and difficult to win back.

    Microtransactions and greed have wrecked this game. When a set of race tyres cost more then what you win for first place, it takes away alot of the satisfaction. Be prepared to play for hundreds of hours if you want anything but the most basic cars. Such an absolute shame

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
