    It’s incredible how much this franchise has accomplished. The music is phenomenal, with classics that bring back the music of the previous games. This one was worth the wait.

    Uma das melhores histórias de Final Fantasy. Final impactante. Todos os personagens, até mesmo NPCs, tem importância. Combate não tem muito desafio (No normal), mas é empolgante e gostoso. Alguns problemas técnicos, como baixa resolução, problema com FSR1 e framerate instável.

    As someone who kept away from final fantasy for years and only recently played the 7 remake 15 and 14 final fantasy 16 has absolutely blown my expectations away. After what i assume is mid-way through the game i can confidently say this is one of my favorite game's that I've played through.

The graphics are phenomenal, moody, and next generation, the writing lends itself to a caring team behind the scenes weaving complex emotions into the character and world building. The absolute cream of the crop however is the action system. A breath of fresh air, thisAs a long time avid Final Fantasy fan, I can 100% guarantee that this game is a Final Fantasy, for old players and new. The graphics are phenomenal, moody, and next generation, the writing lends itself to a caring team behind the scenes weaving complex emotions into the character and world building. The absolute cream of the crop however is the action system. A breath of fresh air, this unique combat style lends itself to the creativity and capability of the player, allowing inexperienced players to enjoy and progress, and allowing for proficient gamers to flex their muscles in customising and weaving new combos in combat. I truly feel for the people giving up on this game for the myriad of reasons, or not even trying it due to the opinion of people who are unable to accept change. If you enjoy single player experiences, Final Fantasy 16 delivers in all fronts, and creates for gripping gameplay, a wide cast of lovable characters brought to life by incredibly talented actors, and a journey that will at times make your jaw drop. Ignore the irrational haters and give this game a shot, you won't regret it.… Expand

    I’m really enjoying the game, the music, the characters, the boss fights and combat in general is fun, I’m not given a 10/10 because of the motion blur and the inconsistency in performance mode, is playable and enjoyable but not acceptable for an exclusive, hopefully will be fixed soon.

All the eikon battles get you so hyped I almost punched a hole through my TV from all the adrenaline. Story/setting is close to Nuer replicant and combat action is very similar to devil may cry. Don’t be a sensitive lil **** about every minor detail, it’s just a game at the end of the day so just have fun with it.… Expand

    The story and graphics are pretty great but everything else about the game is mediocre at best and tedious at worst. The combat is repetitive, the progression system is about an inch deep and I would barely call this an RPG let alone a final fantasy game. This is about half of a great game, the bones are there but there's little else.

    One of the best modern Final Fantasy games. The characters are just loveable. The music is epic. While it's not open world, the maps are big enough for exploration. It certainly took notes from Dragon Quest 11 which is great. The combat is addicting and engaging. All in all this was a great experience.

    FFXVI is a fantastic direction to take the FF series. Every FF game has tried to do something new, and XVI continues that trend. The combat is excellent, graphics are gorgeous, and the story is very good including the side quests. If you want an excellent single player adventure that actually engrossed you in it world and makes every boss battle truly epic, FFXVI is the game for you

    4/10 for Beautiful visuals (best I've ever seen), Decent story, good voice/acting, and good music. I was SOO excited during the first couple of hours, then my disappointment started rising while continually wondering "it'll get better soon!", but it never did.

    Other than that, there really is no "game" here. It's like a really long movie where you need to pick up the controller and mash    4/10 for Beautiful visuals (best I've ever seen), Decent story, good voice/acting, and good music. It's like an infant's book that you read where you push buttons once in a while to make funny animal sounds to add interaction.     Great game - gets better as you play on. Feels like a better FF12. Stylistically it feels like it will age well. Hopefully they create DLC.

    Best game i've played all year.

    Great characters, addicting game play, thrilling storyline, and fantastic boss battles.
    This game had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire story. And the most important thing...you can pet the dog.

    At the beginning of the game I thought "WTF IS THAT ITS NOT FINAL FANTASY"
    After 10 hours I thought "meh, nice game but nothing special"
    After 25 hours I thought "great game and it's real Final Fantasy"
    Now I'm 50 hours in and I think it's GOTY 10/10. It's Gurren Lagann of Final Fantasies. And I'm still not finished yet. I already want to erase my memory and play it again.

    This new entry in the series is really good from the gameplay to the characters and the story even though it is heading into a different direction that older aren't really comfortable with I think they should at least try it instead of making assumptions that will hate it.

    An amazing game that has super engaging combat and a lovely story filled with interesting characters. This game feels like it's Final Fantasy going back to it's roots in a modern way given that it's no longer turn based. I'd recommend the game to anyone that loves a good fantasy world that's clearly been given quite a bit of thought.

    Well, were do I start? I love the game, as my review reflects. The story is exactly what it needed to be; thrilling, suspenseful, and quite frankly epic.

    The Eikon battles will have you yelling at the TV - at least I was. I feel other reviews, at least official reviews, don't quite hit the mark on what makes them so awesome. You really feel as powerful as the game tells you you are - it doesn't hold back for fear of looking silly. And it works. It's awesome. I would rate the game 10/10 simply on these battles alone.

    But there is more to it than that - as mentioned, the story is every bit as nail-biting as the battles. It is on the rails, no doubt. Similar to FFX, you're set on a journey and the developer leads you from point to point with a few instances of freedom in-between - until things open up riiight at the end.

    There's no open world to get lost in - if that's what you're looking for.

    There have been critiques regarding the side quests, and in some instances pacing, but I personally felt each brief lull in the constant action was exactly were it was needed. But it is something to keep in mind.

    Framerate isn't something I care about, so I'll leave that for others to review.

    Lastly, and this part is for the returning FF fans. Just give it a try - it might not be for you (15 wasn't for me) - but if you've bought the game, don't just give up 8 hours in like some are claiming to have. Play it to the end and judge it then. I can guarantee you'll find at least something that you love.    … Expand

    Combat biggest draw for Devil May Cry, Bayonetta or God of War fans. Lovely epic story. Modern Masterpiece. Best Final Fantasy since FFX.

    Added sub-stories to the main story so they extended play time. Have to stop or drop the game because of storytelling. Sub-stories are boring but it is rewarded at the end.
    But the ending is............ It doesn't have depth of story and also not enough narratives to convince the player. Ending makes it even worse.

    One of the main reasons to play ff16. Normally music reminds me how great the game was... but I don't want to think about this game

    Battle: (8/10)
    Not an easy game, but there are modes and items to make the game easy. Which was very good. Button pressing game but it has more depth in 2nd playthrough.
    However, do they expect us to play the 2nd playthrough with this? Also, you can't play with other team members.

    GamePlay: (7/10)
    UI is not comfortable. No running in the village. Can't mark the object if you are not on the map. Useless Trophies. Some of the event scenes are too long or short of explanation. Couldn't balance the events.

    Overall: (37/50)
    Very disappointing game from Yoshida. He told us he focused on the story. But it's not good. It's for him and his team members only. I don't mind if it's not a RPG, or old FF style. But this was a failure of the FF franchise.
    The game wants to be a 'Sony' style game. I see why. It worked somehow, but lost FF styles. Yoshida called himself a gamer, but I think he misunderstood.
    His ego and mind just works with his team mates, but not work with FF fans or other gamers. It's about time to let the FF franchise go. Never going to buy the game from Yoshida again.    … Expand

    Only flaw I found is that some sidequests are dull and pointless. Some of them are dark and very good.

    Definetely a top 3 of the franchise. Amazing combat, superb story. The side quests gives a Lot of insight about the world, and the map Works great for a non open world game. A must play for the fans of the franchise and ps5 owners.

    Halfway through this game and it is fantastic. The epicness of fights and how fun the game is, is what brings the score up so much. The story is interesting and the gameplay doesn’t get boring. Truely a phenomenal game.

    Amazing game, one of those that hooks you in with amazing visuals, engaging combat, and an incredible story. - The game strongly reminds me of Tales of Arise, but with Devil May Cry fighting styles. Two games I love, and they took the best parts of them to make a masterpiece. To me it’s a total “Must Buy” game, and one of the best games of 2023

    O combate é muito divertido e você pode personalizar seu equipamento, eikons e habilidades de diversas maneiras para criar várias combinações. A história também está ótima até agora. Eu recomendaria jogar a demo antes de comprar o jogo principal. No geral, é um ótimo jogo.

Every time I am doing the scenario or even boss fights I think to my self Damm that has to be the best of the best the game has to offer, but no it keeps breaking my expectations about everything.     -linear and corridor-like ff13 tier level design -way WAY too many cutscenes. over half of the game is uninteractive -exploration when it finally opens up 20 hours in is unrewarding and empty -loot is terrible, -weapons, accessories, items and build progression are an afterthought. they're nothing more than stat sticks -lacking rpg…

    Absolutely **** amazing. It may not have a bunch of loot diversity and it may be "linear" but what it has are an amazing story, character development, voice actors, combat, cinematics, and boss fights that will blow you away. I laughed, felt worried, and even cried while playing this game.

    After 15, this is just a new experience most people can enjoy. Cinematics are amazing, combat is really good. People miss Game definitely does not deserve to be review bombed because of fans of Skillup and other twitter witch hunters

    Final Fantasy 16 is everything I've ever wanted from a Final Fantast game. The cast of characters is lively and add so much character and life to the world of the game. From the main character himself to merchants in side villages there are so many characters that all feel real and you get the sense of the world they live in through them. From his early beginning to him taking up the mantle of leading his own group fighting for the freedom of all. His motivations and growth push the story forward in a masterful way. Another great character is this games version of Cid. In this iteration Cid is an amazing leader and his role as a big brother figure is instrumental the growth of Clive. Them along with standouts of the cast such as Jill, Byron, really crates a tight and emotional narrative. However, what this game transcends at is the combat. Throughout the game you gain abilities from Eikons, and each new ability can completely change the way the player fights. The biggest strength of this is everyone can play a different way. Truly one of the best battles systems we've seen in gaming. However the true peak of the game is it cinematic boss fights. The game opens its early hours with 2 of these fights and they're both immersive and captivating. Each one of these fights is a true spectacle and I cannot help myself from smiling during these encounters. The chorography of these fights is stunning, the music is energetic and encapsulating, the characters personalities shine through, and visually these are the best boss fights I've ever seen. Final Fantasy XVI isn't a return to form, rather it is pushing Final Fantasy to new heights never seen before, all while keeping the grandiose feeling of Final Fantasy alive.     O que é mais chato hoje em dia é o senso crítico que as pessoas tem hoje, zero de senso, o game tem pontos que é compreensível uma pessoa não gostar, mas dar uma nota zero para esse jogo é realmente birra de criança mimada, só a batalha e a direção de arte do jogo são de impressionar e não... Não vi nada igual na atualidade. O jogo realmente tem momentos que não impressiona, mas nessesO que é mais chato hoje em dia é o senso crítico que as pessoas tem hoje, zero de senso, o game tem pontos que é compreensível uma pessoa não gostar, mas dar uma nota zero para esse jogo é realmente birra de criança mimada, só a batalha e a direção de arte do jogo são de impressionar e não... Não vi nada igual na atualidade. O jogo realmente tem momentos que não impressiona, mas nesses momentos é surreal o que é aprensentado. "O jogo superaqueceu meu ps5 e ele desligou" "Fritou meu ps5"... Bom eu pelo menos não tive problemas joguei coisa de 10h seguidas e o console ficou de morno pra frio ainda. O jogo tem queda de quadros enquanto enta pela senário, mas em batalha independente de qual seja, ele não tem uma queda de quadro, roda liso em batalha. Não é perfeito a exploração do jogo é (não tem outra palavra...) Inútil, não tem muito o que explorar e se for explorar, a recompensa é muito ruim. Outro ponto fraco é que o jogo está muito bem no ritmo e se você opta por continuar nesse ritmo seguindo a história, algumas missões são bem similares as missões secundária de chatas, o que é muito chato nesse game, as missões secundária. Mas fora isso o game.tem uma gameplay, maravilhosa extremamente fluida e um espetáculo de se ver. "Da pra fazer tudo só com um botão" até parece, claro que se colocar os itens de trapaça faz mesmo, mas aí o problema não o jogo amigo, você que é um Noob, Devil May Cry é um dos melhores se não o melhor do gênero e o pessoal fala isso, a questão é VOCÊ NÃO SABE JOGAR o problema não é o jogo. Minha nota seria um 8 porque tem esse problema de missões secundárias chatas e exploração bem desnecessária. Mas vai 10 só pra equilibrar a notas injustas… Expand

    This review is based on playing through the entire game, I have not done every single hunt but I have done every side quest in the game.

    On toward those parts.
    The parts that can not be question, unless you want to hate on the game for some reason.
    Graphics: 10. The game looks great, the areas looks great, the art design is top level.
    Voice acting: 10. Everyone delivers and every performance is belivable.
    The game works, so no reason for a 0 now is there.

    What is my opinion man.
    The story: 10. The phasing, how the story goes from peaks to peaks with time between to build the world and characters. And those peaks, wow, simply wow.
    The music: 10. Soken does his magic once again. The music always fit what is going on. Epic fight = epic music. A moment to relac = calm music. And so on.
    Controls: 10. The way the game is controlled is explained very well, outside and inside combat it simply works as it should.
    Combat: 10. I notice that the man in charge has worked on Devil May Cry 5 AND Dragons Dogma. The combat is visual, cool, fast, responsive, epic when it needs to, with a low level for entry but a with a lot of room to master.
    Accessibility: 10. There are two difficult levels and other ways to make the combat work for different players.
    Side quests: 10. Mentioning this since some seem to disslike the early ones. The early ones are there for a reason to tell you something, the first ones are short. Later on in the game they fill out the main story and the world at large.

    There are a lot of 10 here, but the thing is that the game is just such a strong package singe the parts in this package are all so strong. And there I managed to review this story heavy game without a single spoiler perhaps I should have written meh and marked it as a spoiler.    … Expand

    Final Fantasy XVI is a fantastic entry, even if is different to previous entries.

    The story is good, the characters are of course fantastic and Clive is a great protagonist, even up with Cloud IMO.

    The combat is second to none and the boss battles are crazy and are on such an epic scale that my jaw is constantly hitting the floor, and I have played GOW Ragnarok!

    Never had any issues playing this game. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones haha all jokes aside, the eions are fun, gripping story. Characters are cool skill tree excellent semi openworld wish it was more open but it felt like it had good flow. Battles are cool. Nice combo system. Overall 9.8 but it leaned to a 10 so that's what I gave it

    Yoshi P and the team have done an amazing job putting this story together. There are a ton of Easter eggs and reference to other final fantasy games, the voice acting is spectacular. I'm impressed with the writing, the conversations, the back and forth is so well written isn't riddled with cringey meta dialogue. The OST is so good you'll want it on vinyl and perfectly complements theYoshi P and the team have done an amazing job putting this story together. I know I'd get bored.     I've never played a FF before. The demo convinced me to get a PlayStation 5. I've been playing it for 10 hours thus far. This is a masterpiece!!! I am happy that I was right about this game, which is fantastic and jaw-dropping in every aspect, e.g., graphics, sound, battle, and story.

    Epic Boss and Eikon battles. Rich lore. Unforgettable characters. Fun and exciting battle system. Dark story. Fantastic soundtrack. This is my favorite Final Fantasy so far. Can’t wait for FF7 Rebirth and what the next FF.

    Just finished this game on 47 hour mark. And im gonna say the quality and the care thats been put into this is over the top. Excelent story, Voice Acting, Combat Desings, Soundtracks, Visuals, etc. Im not usually put to tears with a story, but this made me even tear in a sidequest. You can tell the lovie and care and effort that CBU3 put into this. 10/10 Experience.

    Great visuals great combat, story wasn't a super big hit for me. The music was really good. Felt the game needed more weapon choices to spice up combat as well but all in all one of my favorite releases this year.

    Coming from a final fantasy vet and a person who didn’t like final fantasy 15 as much as I wanted to like it final fantasy is a breath of fresh air. I believe they are going in the right direction with the series. Although I do hope they come out with some turn base spin offs like final fantasy worlds.

    It's an amazing game. Creative Business Unit III is definitely on my list of great developers. I already had a soft spot for Square since I played FFX but this game is the best since then. I definitely defend new takes on the genre and they delivered. The gameplay of Action RPG is definitely on point.     More akin to a visual novel than ARPG.
    When fighting multiple enimies screen is filled with too many effects to actually be able to strategically battle.
    Spam square, hit power, wait for cool down, repeat. The odd R1 dodge.
    Eikon battles are taken away from you half way through and turns cinematic?
    All a bit boring.

    As a long time fan of the series I played this entry with an open mind to its approach in a Final Fantasy game and I throughly enjoyed it.     This game has some of the highest highs ever offered in a video game before. This is truly a next-gen experience, and although some of the slower points can bring it down, the peaks really do propel it to absurd heights.

    Different style, but such a good quality. Pretty linear, but that's what it is. But the combat is so good and the story is very interesting. Have an open mind and just enjoy the ride.

    Easy 10 purely for the quality British voice acting. Regional dialects too, such as Geordie, to show the Americans that not everyone is from London.

    Takes very little time to get used to, though the combat can be too easy unless you make sure to unequip the rings that make it so. Story is incredible though and game overall great.

    16 was by far the worst FF I have played to date, the story was boring, the side quests were predictably dull. the ending was absolutely appalling, no thought at all, so predicable and I genuinely didn't care for any of the characters other than Jill. combat was okay, but ridiculously easy, full playthrough of all content including hunts and side quests in 32 hours, and didn't die once.16 was by far the worst FF I have played to date, the story was boring, the side quests were predictably dull. the ending was absolutely appalling, no thought at all, so predicable and I genuinely didn't care for any of the characters other than Jill. combat was okay, but ridiculously easy, full playthrough of all content including hunts and side quests in 32 hours, and didn't die once. that's not me gloating, its just so easy to overkill everything with the summon abilities, and the story was so dull, I have zero interest replaying the game on the harder difficulty. waited years, and I am so disappointed. I actually enjoyed 15 far far more. Hopefully 7 part 2 makes up for this absolute **** show of a game.

    Weakest point is the story, which for a final fantasy game is absolutely horrendous news. no spoilers, but this game has so may plot holes it would make an excellent sieve. and the end game story is just awful, explains nothing, and leaves you wondering. Honestly, this is the most disappointed I have ever felt finishing a Final fantasy game out of the entire franchise, and it gives me zero ambition to want to play through it again on the game plus mode.
