    I was really anticipating this game and it was good overall, just didn’t take the step forward I was hoping for. The side quests didn’t pull me in and the day/night cycle wasn’t as intriguing as the first game. Also seemed like killing zombies is an after thought, with very little incentive to do so. Overall recommend playing it, just not all I’d hoped it would be.

    (PS5 version) After 10 months, the game is in better state but there is no PVP or hoard game mode today, and because of it, it doesn't have any replay value. Today they released a new update but nothing brings new to the table. I have skipped the DLC 1 because of the reported bugs and the bad story mode. Hopefully, DLC 2 will bring PVP and hoard mode, but just now, I don't have the urge to(PS5 version) After 10 months, the game is in better state but there is no PVP or hoard game mode today, and because of it, it doesn't have any replay value.     Under rated in my opinion, The story is average but the gameplay is amazing. I enjoyed just exploring and doing things in the open world.

    The game is fun! The parkour is really smooth. The combat can be great. There are issues though. The game would be amazing if there weren’t so many bugs. Some hideouts (kind of like save points and resting places that also serve as a reset spot when you die) are bugged so you can’t trigger them.     It is much better than dl 1 in technical, graphical, dynamics and graphics aspect, but i think that dl1 had better imo dark sorrounding dl2 has more colors etc. For me still better than dl1

    I experienced almost zero bugs until I was halfway through the story where people would be invisible in the cutscenes or the camera would be misplaced. But only throughout a few cutscenes, the rest of the game after that played smoothly.     Gameplay: Dying Lights gameplay is amazing, but if you don’t constantly keep using different skills it gets repetitive. The skills are really satisfying to do also, and running across rooftops and jumping over and sliding under never gets old.

    Graphics: I didn’t have high hopes for the graphics on this game because cyberpunk but it surprised me with its environmental suspense and graphical fidelity. Animations in this game are good, facial animations could use some work.    … Expand

    Dying Light 2 is the culmination of 10 years of evolution of open world games. The navigation through the parkour system, paraglider, and grappling hook are top notch. The side activities are fun and engaging. The combat is weighty and satisfying, even though it is a bit easy at times. Many people disliked the story and choices.     Fixing my review from before.. I hated on the game from the beginning because of the bugs. Now most bugs are gone. However, the story is still boring but i truly believe the DLC's will back up this game. The story is unfinished so no one can judge. Gameplay is truly a master piece. So fun to play with friends.

    The game was freaky enjoyable. The parkour, visuals, and just getting around the city were the highlights. The story wasn't the best but I appreciated how choices would affect the city and I ended up liking some characters. All around good game if you're into the zombie post apolyptic setting.

    der erste Teil war ein Meisterwerk ! auch die welt ist eher grau und die zombies schlechter als bei teil 1.
    so ein dreck nie wieder kaufe ich bei relese. heutzutage ist es nicht möglich ein fertiges spiel zu bekommen ohne irgendwelche day1 patches so ein DRECK!

    Rarely has my opinion of a video game changed as much as I did with Dying Light 2. By the first act, I honestly thought I had a contender for a 90's rating. World building, characters, decisions, massive fights and the parkour system really convinced me at first.

    But the longer the season dragged on, the more the framework collapsed. Very little is made of characters and world.     But the worst part is the story. Rarely has there been such a soulless protagonist who literally stumbles helplessly from one boring event to the next. For me personally, Dying Light 2 is unfortunately a missed opportunity. Because if Techland had built on the good foundation of Act 1, we would have had the first hit of the year    … Expand

    Don't waste your time! Do not take in to account critic scores! If the profile switched issue don't mess your game, awful bugs will! You will spend 50 hours and your character will look like **** You can't craft your own gun, or you can't improve your weapon as you like! Just buy another one which look worse!     Se lleva un aprobado a secas,el sistema de combate es tosco,no puedes explorar de noche porque se te acaba el tiempo, secundarias infinitas,tiene algo que me enganchó este juego hasta el final que aún no se que es,puede que la historia y el hecho de matar zombies,lo recomendaria pero solo cuando lo veas por 10$€

    Man this **** me and my friend were so excited to play together on dying light 2 we finished the the missions side by side until we could send invites to each other and to our disappointment there is no crossplay so now my friend on the ps5 has to download the ps4 version

Le mode co-op anti immersion (tout les joueurs sont le mêmes personages, des TP a outrance pour les joueur amis) . Le tuto qui dur plus de 1h pour posé des bases très bancales.. Des personnages, des dialogues, un vf complètement à la masse sans parler des IA.     This game is so good and bad at the time. Full of bugs in coop, Correctly buged in solo. Mecanics just don't match. Your character always attaches where he should not.
    After one episode with the same problems, how can techlands proposes the same unsatisfying gameplay ?

    I'm a gamer witha an experience of more than 20 years and what I want to say is that Dying Light 2 is one of few games wich i want to repeat. I want to start it over. And the music, oh my god it's just mind blowing, goosebumps allover. Wanna thank for this masterpiece!!!

    This was my least favourite gaming experience since cyberpunk and that’s saying something. This game was an abomination from beginning to end. I put 200+ hours into the game (mostly getting out of bounds) trying to platinum the game only for it to glitch out collectibles and trophies. Remember the whole game reveal where draining the water was significant? Not a major thing. Remember whenThis was my least favourite gaming experience since cyberpunk and that’s saying something. This game was an abomination from beginning to end. I put 200+ hours into the game (mostly getting out of bounds) trying to platinum the game only for it to glitch out collectibles and trophies. Remember the whole game reveal where draining the water was significant? Not a major thing. Remember when it said your choices matter to the story? It all ends up convolved together to get to the same point. I had every glitch you could encounter, I had characters stop talking with no mouth movements and no subtitles so I had no idea of the story in the beginning, I fell through the map, I got stuck, enemies would glitch through the roof, missions wouldn’t spawn, collectibles gone, couldn’t walk out of an invisible box, trophies glitch, character endless falling animation, graphics going completely haywire, Easter eggs not triggering and I managed to get outside the first island before it was finished and explore the second island… The story was boring, the music score wasn’t blended well with the surroundings to the point you knew a chase scene was happening before it happened, and the missions were so stupid. Why’d I get xp from listening to a guy talk about fish? Oh and the whole fact of being able to farm xp at night. I hated every second of the 200+ hrs I put into this game. How did you get it so wrong techland when you had an incredible foundation from the first game?… Expand

    Es asquerosamente malo, primero que nada el gameplay al inicio es tosco y tardas en acostumbrarte, si nunca has jugado juegos de esté estilo.

    Aparte está repleto de bugs por montones obligamdote a reiniciar una y otra vez, a pesar de que ya lleva un tiempo desde que salió no corrigen muchos de los molestos bugs, hubiera preferido lanzar mi dinero a la calle antes que comprar está porquería

    - Game has a lot of bugs both visually and gameplay wise. Found a lot of model swapped characters and keybinding didn't work even after being rebound.
    - Hardest difficulty was not challenging. Playing on hard makes it so you can't sell equipment (which you get a lot of)
    - AI is awful and posed a little threat during my entire play through. Being chased at night is not fun since there are so many safe zones in close proximity.
    - The story was a little too over the top along with the NPC's you met along the way. It took away from the seriousness of the whole situation    … Expand

    The Parkour Thing is pretty fun but the Rest of the game is garbage.. the generic World looks always the same , Bad voiceacting and Animation.. the combat system is worse than skyrim.. weapons feel all the same.. the hitbox ist garbage too.. the missions are all the same and the whole night thing is not fun at all...

    I played the first game knowing it left a lot of people cold but I generally like it. So, I was eager to try the sequel. While the visuals and mechanism of story telling are compelling, so much of the game mechanics are outdated and quite frankly rubbish. The combat is a mess with enemies able to hit you without actually being near you, the parrying mechanic doesn't seem to work as itI played the first game knowing it left a lot of people cold but I generally like it. So, I was eager to try the sequel. While the visuals and mechanism of story telling are compelling, so much of the game mechanics are outdated and quite frankly rubbish. The combat is a mess with enemies able to hit you without actually being near you, the parrying mechanic doesn't seem to work as it should and the amount of glitches and bugs just disgusting. Some of the issue could easily have been fixed with the ability to make manual saves. Quests appear and disappear. Some quests just glitch out or dialogue options that should be present suddenly aren't. Worst of all are doors that no longer open. I was stuck inside one of the bases and no reloading the game didn't fix it. I actually got out by glitching through a wall. I finish virtually every game I play but I simply dread coming back to this because I have no idea what nightmare will await from game maker laziness.… Expand

    Honestly, Dying Light is better than Dying Light 2, the physics in 2 was a bit twisted. Main plot in my opinion was better in first part, Kyle Crane had a more interesting adventure than Aiden. After all, the game is really good, many mechanics such as parkour enjoy very much whether fighting is really satisfying

The combat, now the combat has a major improvement since the first game but it kinda cloonky and sometimes I wish it wasn't so slow you know, like look at the last of us 1 and 2 the combat was realistic and it felt brutal and satisfying. But dl2 its pretty satisfying when it comes to combat but the combat of the game wasn't brutall like realistic time of wise, I wish that they could've made the combat better not gonna lie but everything else is actually good and pretty. The launch, the launch of the game got us all thirsty but the game released in a buggy state not like cyberpunk 2077 type but the optimization was bad and the loading of the game on the last gen was slow like you would fall of the map, and see some of the models of characters not loaded in all the way. And the audio ughh the audio was so bad like you couldn't even hear what they were saying and no music be playing sometimes like no sound effect can be heard like dam they should've delayed the game (to be honest) But later on small and big and biggest and some couple updates and events later, the state of the game right now is actually functioning kinda like a normal game and to be honest this game is actually good now like better I would say.     I usually try to get the maximum trophies I can, for a game. But I just gave up here. I ultimately decided to end the main story somehow and be done with it.
    Such games call for a demo to try the game beforehand.
    DO NOT PICK THIS GAME UP....I cannot emphasize this enough. Many other outstanding games came out around the same time like Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring. Try those and your money will be very well spent.

    -the story(my opinion): it got me hooked because I'm very interested what will happen with this virus and the world itself. It's still so much mystery that I enjoy and if you find all the collectibles(like I did) you will find a lot of backstory of what happened after Harran;
    -the world: it's unique whit the two area Old Villedor and The Center. The architecture is very parkour friendly and it allows the player to find creative ways to traverse around The City;
    -new features: dark hollows, forsaken stores, convoys, airdrops, antennas, windmills, etc. as well as some minimal RPG additions (clothing and boosters);
    -easter eggs: A LOT;
    -challenging new game plus with big rewards;
    -community challenges-entertaining side quests;
    -on point English voice acting.
    Cons:
    -the world is a bit too saturated unlike what was seen in the E3 reveal;
    -some minimal bugs(fixed with patches);
    -some weird lip-syncing(because the game was first lip-synced for polish);
    -the choices aren't a big factor in the game, but they are a nice addition;
    -achievement issues: there were some in the past which were fixed but there are still some for some players including myself which is very frustrating because I want to complete this game to the fullest extent but I can't. Hopefully they will fix this.
    I will say once again, this is MY OPINION. I enjoyed this game and I am still enjoying it. I think Techland has built a nice foundation for future DLCs. I recommend playing it if you like parkour, zombies and really become interested in the future of humanity during this THV epidemic. Also the first one is a must play.    … Expand

Не знаю чем вдохновлялись разработчики, но написать настолько бездарный сюжет, в котором присутствует лишь иллюзия выбора, нужно было умудриться, скорее всего сюжет был скорее для галочки, чтобы игру покупали. Во-первых почему-то тебе не дают выбора в вилледоре, ты обязан встать на чью-то сторону, чего я вообще не хотел делать, либо взрывай базу миротворцев, либо обрекай жителей базара на смерть. Качество персонажей нельзя назвать плохим, но лично у меня никакого сопереживания они не вызывали. Мне только начала нравится Вероника,но ее убивают спустя 20 минут, спасибо. В общем геймплей на 7, сюжет на 5. Сама игра тянет на 5-6 баллов, я поставлю 6, тк была бы она хуже, я бы её дропнул, про баги я само собой молчу .… Expand

However the game is so hard to keep up with it's frustrating. It hops from thread to the 2nd one not ending the 1st one. And then a 3rd one. It's really bad. The storyline itself is just okey. Some of the characters like Lawan getting very annoying. You are forced to work with them tho i dont like them. This is something that destroys the user’s experience and makes me stop an pause the game for weeks because it just sucks. The storyline has very often Plots where characters dying that don't have to die tho it not even makes sense that they are dying. Overall the game is ok but i wouldnt play it again. Dying Light 2 had a lot to learn from it’s precessor Dying Light espically with that handsome man Kyle Crane (mmm…), but Techland has smashed it out of the park again. After playing the game for over 350 hours, I can say that Dying Light 2 deserved GOTY and was robbed by Elden Ring. My identical twin Jonah Scott smashed his role as my second boyfriend and new gigachad spirit animal Aiden Chadwell who run, jumps and fights throughout Villedor saving lives and smashing Volatiles with the dropkick, which instantly obliterates opponents with the pure foot of steel and vapourises people so bad, thier partners couldn’t recognise them.
    The story is a masterpiece, written by the greatest minds the dancing Polish cow could offer with themes like love, betrayal and my deepest darkest fanfiction inspirements. The ending where I face off with Waltz, Aiden’s kind of but not really father is when I started crying and begging for not Dying Light 3 but Dying Light 7. I need it now, and the ending where Hakon runs off with his 5th Husband who is Aiden Chadwell made me extremely jealous that I was not there with them running into the sunset or running to Villedor Castle (god, i want that castle so bad).

    To conclude, Dying Light 3: Hunt down the Hakon is a must buy. Everyone should play it, not matter which species you are. It’s fun for the whole family and family pet. This is probably better than IGN’s review anyway. Are we out of budget yet?    … Expand

I loved the first one, kiccin random freaks off roofs and blowing them tf up you got guts and bits of meat flying around everywhere looking like a slaughter house on delivery day, but this one just sucks. It doesn't at all give you the feel of the older game in terms of the atmosphere, but at least this time it has a boss fight..well the boss fight is full of bugs and the Waltz dude you have to fight can just mystically punch you the fucc out from about 10 meters away. It's a pretty game don't get me wrong but good graphics don't make up for bad gameplay. On top of that, all the survivors and enemies themselves are either weird or just plain dumb as **** They don't at all give you a sense of "oh OK this here is a bad mf I best watch myself now" nah they just drool and wait for you to do stuff. It's just another let down game building off the success of the previous. Everything is like a crappy emulated version of what it used to be, the grapple hook used to be dope like a great value spider man now all the hook does is let you dangle like sweaty nuts on a hot day. Plus their new boomstick replacement for guns is lame lame, where is my golden double barrel? I don't give any ****s about them wanting more medieval fighting or their in-game monument I want a blicky to violate the violitiles.     It is really fun to smash some zombies. I really liked the story. I didn't saw manny bugs.
    The only thing that i feel is missing is the love intrest. You kinda get a taste of that but it's very little. And maybe is just me , i mean , i get why it would't be space for love. In a world so **** like that maybe getting attached to someone isn't the best idea. Idk. But even with that missing i    It is really fun to smash some zombies. I really liked the story.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I played the game, I liked the story, I'm sorry that the story isn't much more detailed! I didn't have any problems or interference while playing on the PC version! So the only thing I can say is to praise Techland, I expect a continuation and better progress in for this genre of game! The graphics are all right, the physics for parkour are good.. I'm not a bad player otherwise, but I don't know if what I was playing was normal, but there were situations that were really exaggerated on the missions in the underground when you go for inhibitors and there will be 2-3 volatiles guarding all the zombies. because somehow it is not balanced with the difficulty of the game, it should be a little more relaxing in my opinion, but maybe I'm wrong, although I don't think I'm the only one who had problems in those situations, in addition to the fact that when I play, I play exclusively with great care so as not to die and to be as extreme as possible !Easy mode would throw j but in my opinion, there should be just a little work on "normal" to make it more ideal and I think it would be perfect to enjoy while passing the game!
    I think I can do a lot better in terms of graphics, parkour, movement physics, combat mode and zombie massacre! But all in all, I think Dying Light 2 is a very good game and I would freely recommend it! this genre game until it reaches its peak!    … Expand

    So eine müll Grafik, sowas zum Release ist zum schämen, da bringen solo Entwickler bessere Grafik zusammen. Vorallem versteh ich es nicht das Teil 1 auf der Ps4 eine bessere Grafik hatte als der zweite Teil auf Ps5.

    1. Downgraded comapare to DL1 in all aspects, gameplay, physics, graphics. A lot of bugs.
    2. Boring everything - quests, world. Mostly scripted, even zombies behavior. Unreal world. There no feeling of apocalypse. Well-fed people, even perfect hairs. Really? There a lot of barbers?     Unlike most people, I really enjoyed this game before all the 2022 changes that I've not tried again. I liked that it wasn't as horror-driven and was more focused on people, cities and rebuilding civilization. This game has perhaps the best movement in any game I played, and it just feels so good to play. I'm looking forward to the DLCs when they are finished, but I'm a bit worries aboutUnlike most people, I really enjoyed this game before all the 2022 changes that I've not tried again.     Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
