    The game with awful optimization, the game, which I have been waiting 7 year is **** They destroyed fighting system, they destroyed parkour system and my favourite: DENUVO!! This DRM protection eating like 20-30% of ur fps.

    The game is just bad, i don't know why it feel like a downgrade from the first game. In the first game the sound and the movement is so much better, the story in both games are bad but in the DL2 is so much worse. and the hitbox it is like from a joke game from facebook.

    Please wait some time to buy it on a sale.

    Don't understand where people are coming from when it comes to glitches and graphical problems. For me it looks gorgeous and ran smooth with minimal-no bugs on a pretty cheap prebuilt computer. While not the greatest writing of all time, it felt like it handled it's concepts better than most other zombie games trying to tell a similar story. It felt more immersive and exhilarating than theDon't understand where people are coming from when it comes to glitches and graphical problems.     I was thinking that the game is a solid 9 because of the open world, a good story and fun gameplay. But after I realised that the game has no Italian dubbing i instantly raised my rating to a 10.

    As a huge fan of the original I am very sad to say that I’m extremely disappointed. The combat is boring and watered down, the parkour is not a huge improvement, the story is lame. I just can’t get into it. I have been looking forward to this game for years and played only 4 hours and just can’t bring myself to enjoy it. Waiting for Horizon the forbidden west, hopefully that won’tAs a huge fan of the original I am very sad to say that I’m extremely disappointed.     Cons: Maybe it is just me but that ending felt like a gut punch, made me feel empty.

    Overall, very enjoyable game with great traversal system and a lot of enjoyable content with great level design. Few things hold the game back, but this is a easy recommend,

    This game does everything that a sequel should do; it takes the concepts of the original and makes them better. As someone that has over 200 hours in the original, I'm loving this game. Its everything I loved from DL1 only expanded on and made better, in most cases.

    It's not without its faults. Running feels slower but not necessarily in a bad way.     Fix for co-op and quest stuck bug.

    For this game to work right you have to have less than 300 total psn friends. Once you delete enough psn friends to be under 300 total, co-op starts working and quests will finally progress.
    This fix is confirmed to work for PlayStation.

    Other than the bugs the game is solid and fun with friends

    Is the game fun? Kind of? As long as you can make fun of it and just follow quests WITH A FRIEND. By yourself? Go play Days Gone or almost any other BETTER open world and/or zombie game.

    I also do NOT understand why devs feel the need to add the work f**k into every sentence either. Good writing requires a bigger dictionary.    … Expand

    I don’t want to be too critical of this game. I ended up liking it a lot. At first though, it was a bit slow. You didn’t get to the city for a while. It seemed like there were a lot of fetch quests- and I mean A LOT! But the story got better as the game went on. You also got more interesting items like the paraglider and the grappling hook. I ended up going with mainly the peacekeepers.I don’t want to be too critical of this game. I ended up liking it a lot. At first though, it was a bit slow. You didn’t get to the city for a while. It seemed like there were a lot of fetch quests- and I mean A LOT! But the story got better as the game went on. You also got more interesting items like the paraglider and the grappling hook. I ended up going with mainly the peacekeepers. You had to climb A LOT of buildings going with them! I don’t know if it was the same with the other choices. The combat was OK, and the enemies weren’t too bad- except the last boss. I had a pretty good ending on my run through. I spent nearly 32 hours with the game without doing any side quests. Overall, I recommend the game and I can see myself playing it again maybe in another year or so. I’d give it an 9/10 or 4/5. I don't know why this game is getting all the hate.… Expand

    - The campaign has a very promising start, story feels interesting. Later, especially at the end and it turns out to be very silly. Almost like a Brazilian soap opera.
    - There are many stupid cut scenes in which other opponents appear out of nowhere and you lose your advantages.
    - NPC-s are unable to follow you on mission, after a cutscene they teleport to next meeting location, where they need to teleport again.
    - RPG elements are mediocre.
    - There aren't many infected on the streets, which is awkward.
    - DL1 felt so much better.
    - Side missions are boring.
    - Stealth elements are meh.

    Overall, I feel let down, as I was very hyped to play it.

    My final verdict is that I cannot recommend it on full price, this game need 12 months’ worth of patch and a great discount.    … Expand

    I'm about 16 hours in and the game is pretty good, I'm sure it can become exceptional with some more support. I haven't seen any serious bugs nor there are any crashes. Sure, there are some glitches and things to fix and improve, but noting really major.
    I'm disappointed that this parasite Denuvo was included last minute, I hate the fact that even a cent of my money went into their account.

I was glad that I didnt encounter game breaking bugs, e.g. death loop and others but I have to admit that there are still lots of bugs in the game. Texture glitches, missing parcour grabs, trigger not activating, treasure you need to open on a special angle and more.

    I also    I hesistated a lot to buy this game but gave it a try. With the latest patch it is for the most part playable. I was glad that I didnt encounter game breaking bugs, e.g. death loop and others but I have to admit that there are still lots of bugs in the game.     I also feel the game engine is not the best. 1080p60 in performance mode runs mostly flawless but honestly the game looks bad in comparison to early trailers and for that it performs not well enough. The story writing is pretty bland and after a while you feel like re-visiting the same places over and over again making it a slightly run down experience. Enemy variety is pretty poor, same goes to the equipment variety. At least the weapons are somewhat satisfying.

    The game lacks a lot quality of life improvements, e.g. remember the filters I set in the inventory because I dont want to set it for the 100th time, why do I need to switch on my light over and over again etc. Bragging with 500hrs of playtime was honestly a silly move to because it is one of the few modern the game where: you cant max stats no matter how long you play, you get locked out of collectibles which you cannot re-visit after the game ends and there are also some trophies that are plain stupid, e.g. millionaire or running 960km.

    In general the combat and gore was satisfying. I did like some of the characters and the weapons pulled my score up but after all you should wait and buy the game at a sale of at least 50%. For germans that might consider buying the cut version - dont do it, get the uncut disc version because honestly the bloody part is one of the essentials and you will miss out big time.    … Expand

    The level choice is really bad, every part of the city looks exactly the same. "Realism" shouldn't be placed before game experience.

    Game mechanism is weak, nothing evolved besides fights and parkour, and even part of the zombie / fight physics are downgraded for reasons beyond comprehension. There are rumours circulating about key staff leaving due to whatever reasons, and I'm absolutely sure that this was the main problem of why it failed to achieve the glory of DL1, let alone to evolve beyond it.

    You'd expect vehicles, base building, travelling in a huge map to different cities, towns, resource management, missions with companions you select, etc., and at least as much genius storytelling as in DL1 (side mission included), but no, nothing sort of that, a huge part of the game is pretty much sank into mediocrity, despite the fact that there is already a brutally good game set as an example you just have to follow (DL1)...

    To think about the money those developers got who don't even like the game at all... Such a waste.

    HOWEVER, this doesn't mean that this is a particularly bad game and that you won't enjoy it. You will. This game still good and still rocks, and the best news is that there is a modding community which pretty much fixed every gameplay / game mechanics flaws, for free (think about the game developers again). Years of years of development, tons of wasted money, only to see your utter idiocy (bad physics, weak, few zeds, etc.) getting fixed in a couple of weeks by modders for free...

    There are 2 things I can't forgive to this game: it is NOT scary anymore. Do you remember yourself screaming during night missions in DL1? Well, here you won't...

    The second part is the music. I was so excited to get something like in DL1 (which I listening even to this day), that I was almost more excited for the music than for the game, but what we got is next to nothing. Most of the less popular youtubers could have done a better job for free... Man, these guys...

    I don't know what is with all these game developers (and also movie makers) nowadays but they clearly NOT worthy of their money, they just ripping off the company they working for.

    Bud just buy the game, install the mods, and you will gonna have a decent experience. Epic zed battles await you which will never get old.

    Oh, and those complaining about graphics and performance, you guys should really stop using cracked games, quit watching porn, and run an anti-malware software. You ALL gonna be surprised.    … Expand

    Graphics wise I'm sure a PC could run 4k 60fps fine, you have to remember the ps5 is already last gen PC hardware it's basically as powerful as a rtx 2070. On PS5 the 60fps mode is pretty ugly and only 1080p as well. But it looks as if it it just using the last games engine with everything turned up a little. Textures are pretty low res as well, when you get close to posters and etc you can't even read them.    … Expand

    Thought I would give this a 10 to balance the haters reviews Wich is absolutely ridiculous this game is not that bad I would say 8.5 would be right score the traversal parkour is way better now and a lot of fun I’m currently playing on hardest difficulty Wich I recommend for the best experience possible great game I love it thank you!

    Im 85+ hours into the game and I love it. I ran into a many bugs, frame drops, crashing, the menu is absolutely broke and delayed but overall loving the main story & side quest. The collectibles menu is confusing when you find a collectible and dont know where it is in the menu, needs an icon or something, needs menu work. Im not into online play but the single player is great. At firstIm 85+ hours into the game and I love it. I ran into a many bugs, frame drops, crashing, the menu is absolutely broke and delayed but overall loving the main story & side quest.     It would be 10 if the game didnt have some bugs that stopped some trophies popping and MP connection was better.

    This game is fun and long. Worth the money if your looking for a game that has hours of stuff to do.

    PLUS its zombies!!!!!! If you enjoyed the first game you will love this one. Like the saying goes if it aint broke dont fix it but improve on it!

    I was a big fan of the first. This one, not so much. The story isn't interesting and this time, the game introduces factions that dont make a big impact on the game itself. The night is much more annoying since you cant avoid getting caught in a chase usually. The challenge missions are not worth playing as the difficulty is unweildly. Для кого-то это минус, ноне для меня. Теперь почти половина активностей приходится на ночные вылазки. Игра вас будет буквально вынуждать играть ночью нравиться вам это или нет. Первая ночь в игре, да это минус. Первая часть задала планку на хоррор. Первая ночь в первой части заставила многих людей попотеть и испугаться. Во второй части ПЕРВАЯ ночь вызвала лишь разочарование. Игру я крайне рекомендую

They are fun, addictive and very smooth. I'm having a great time just running on rooftops and kicking zombies. Awesome game. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Action Games.

    Но Dying Light мы с вами любим не за сюжет же? А за геймплей, который тут просто 10 зомби из 10. Очень интересно мочить зомбей и паркурить. Город специально заточен под паркур, так что можно разгоняться по полной и устраивать забеги в стиле Mirror's Edge. Куча лута, крафта и модов на оружее. Огнестрела нет, но есть арбалет и лук, которых в целом вполне хватает, для тех кто не любит в мили.
    Активностей по карте очень много, сайдов тоже хватает. Но опять же все они сделаны в стиле подай/принеси и ждать каких-то интересных персонажей или интриг не стоит. Разнообразные скиллы тоже присутствуют, которые качаются по мере прохождения игры. Все полезные и юзабельные на мой взгляд, и можно использовать в том или ином билде.
    Думаю, в любом случае, все согласятся, что Dying Light 2 Stay Human является лучшим экшеном про зомби. И вторая часть однозначно станет народной игрой, может не сразу, но со временем.
    А про наши ожидания и мечты по игре, процитирую я пожалуй Кратоса из God of War: "Keep your expectations low and you will never be disappointed."    … Expand

    Daying Light 2 is a very good sequel. Climbing and jumping is really fun. The story is ok, much better than the first, but not the masterpiece like FF7 or God of War. If only crossplay would come. Absolutely recommendable for a cozy evening with friends whizzing through Villedore

    For me this game is a solid 9 but I am giving it a 10 to counter the many ridiculous 0s.

    This game improves on the original in many ways, improved and new parkour movements and in my opinion a better and well written story. Combat is fluid and fun. I experienced minimal bugs just a few clipping issues here and there. Over all a brilliant game for an indie developer well done techland.

    Compared to the first part, this is a step backwards. They promised non-linearity and an excellent plot, but in the end they made mediocre characters with mental retardation and lack of motivation.

    Chris Avellone would have done a really great story, but it ended up being crap without him.

    Dying Light 2 is a good game. If there was not 500 hours of content I would give a lower score. I think the story and side quests are boring. However, I really like the free-running and really like looting stores at night.

    I did not play the original Dying Light but I knew I had to jump into this one for how popular the original was and owing it to myself to experience this game. I will just say to me it felt like a FAR CRY Zombie game which isn't bad or anything but not exactly great either. I had fun when sticking to the main story as the side quest felt like fetch and return.     I play it on the PS5 and gotta admit, with the performance mode it works just perfectly.
    I have countered only one bug in my playthrough.

    The game starts off kind of heavy and boring honestly, but picks up as you go along. It really opens up and becomes fun once you get past the introductory stage of the game. Story is very deep and the choices you make actually carry a lot of weight in how things progress.

But no the game has no personality unlike dying light 1 the dark tones fit the atmosphere the parkour was fast and sleek when you got out of a hoard you actually felt pheww. When you did rooftop parkour it was scary cause if you fell down you're done. But yeah the game feels like it lacks ambient occlusion, antialiasing, fog and resolution is the biggest problem. Also very few godrays when it should be lathered with it. The render distance is bad and popping is prominent I would not buy this game for 60 bucks for these features alone. It took rockstar games 7 years to make red dead 2 so did it took to make dying light 2 and the game is 6 to 7 times bigger than dying light 2 but also with phenomenal graphics bare in mind it released on last gen and it has better graphics. Of course you can argue that techland is way smaller company but there world is also way smaller we arent asking for much anyway we are asking for a open world game which looks good not ultra detailed but at least looks somewhat next gen and it looks like a ps3 game far cry 2 had better textures than this. Moving on to gameplay the parkour is horrible, its floaty, its slow, its clunky, you get stuck on objects basically everything but dying light. After that is the stupid paraglider which doesn't obey laws of physics when you pull the glider down it goes up 5 ft like what, newton must be turning in his grave, it also dosen't help that it removes all the anxiety and thrill you had while doing parkour on rooftops. The combat is hilariously boring the melee or whatever is not good also the zombies are less scary . The protagonist has powers now? well what the hell why not make me a mutant with big claws and giant teeth looking like black ops zombie please dont put supernatural elements in your game I like humans you know people liked the older characters bcz it was something they can relate to. I and I can barely relate to this protagonist aiden bcz he is a mutant or whatever he is. The story and the writing are gonna be watch dogs 2 level was known since we watched the first gameplay trailer. Where the girl says yes we did it with the most uninspired voice ever how can you like the game when the va have no passion or intrest whether the emotion is being expressed or not. The system of choosing sides is the most boring system I was like yeah whatever. Also people keep saying this about far cry games that its more of the same and this game is like less of the same not in a good way but bad. Characters enviroment and physics all have been downgraded its less of the same and barely had anything good from the last game. AI also terrible sometimes they see you other times you will be in front of them but nothing happens. Did this game left impact on me? yes its terrible story left a impact on me and made me understand that everyone cant be a writer hahaha. Jokes aside it has nothing on the name of impact and watch dogs 2 probably made me feel more impacted than this. This game made me realise that preordering any new games was a mistake.     The gameplay is solid and music is on point. Some of the voice dialogue doesn't look good but it's excusable IMO. Playing on PC with a good computer but I've seen relatively few bugs so far. About 15 hours into the game and I'm having a blast

(Haven’t had a non sports game like that since red dead 2.). This game is so much fun, intriguing, great dialogue, deep and easy to use crafting, customizable ability is fun, the detail and dialogue is great. It’s a VERY fun play and the graphics ofI’m 10 hours and this game is everything I’ve been waiting for since I beat dying light 1! Finally a game lately where I cannot put it down. (Haven’t had a non sports game like that since red dead 2.). This game is so much fun, intriguing, great dialogue, deep and easy to use crafting, customizable ability is fun, the detail and dialogue is great. The combat with both humans and zombies is fun and you might even find yourself starting fights when you don't need to.

    Villedor is a truly remarkable location to explore, from colonial-era streets to modern-day skyscrapers and subway stations, from packs of the zombie horde to groups of survivors out for blood, Dying Light 2 delivers on the world, the combat in the parkour in the best way possible, though failing to lack in its story department, the world is a fresh canvas of paint for the player to explore.     So I’m a newbie of playing dying light 2 since i never played the first one but from my pov the game was amazing off the start, really enjoyed the story and gameplay, finished it 3 days after release. Its an awesome game!! Is it Game of the Year? Its definitely a contender. Is it perfect? Definitely not!. Am I having loads of fun? Absolutely!!! The RPG elements are well thought out. Not too complex or deep. People comparing to Cyberpunk are stupid. Cyberpunk is boring af. Havent touched that garbage pile in almost a year. Plus Cyberpunk isnt even close to being a complete experience. Parkour is slow at first but once you start leveling and picking your traits its gets faster and cooler. Not having guns is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, think of it as a fantasy RPG. Besides it makes sense that there are no guns left (There is bows and a makeshift ranged weapon deeper in the game). The world is different and has changed in 15 years and not alot of people or structures survived. Combat is satisfying and works great. I loved the first game, but it got boring in parts and i had to push myself through. This game adds colors,music, atmosphere and better AI then the first one. The atmosphere in this game is so freaking cool!!! Feels very immersive. The sound design is so awesome!! When you hear little things in the distance or down below and are creeped out, its very cool! Love it!! The mix between fighting Zombies and Humans is perfect!! 10/10. Buy this game you wont regret it!!!!… Expand

    It’s been so long since I’ve had this much fun in a game! Imma make this short with a pros and cons list. Pros:
    Fun gameplay- Most fun I’ve had in a game long time. Parkour is smooth and fluid. Combat is simple, but very fun.

    Cons:
    Story- The story isn’t bad by any means however it could have been much better. Choices are cool, but don’t do enough. I honestly like the side quest more than the main quest.
    Bugs- I played on the ps5 and had minimal bugs. I’ve had 1 crash so far which isn’t to bad. Only reason it’s on the cons is because it seems bugs vary.
    Performance- This is kinda nitpicking, but Ps5 performance was good but not perfect. Had frame drops from time to time which were annoying. Wasn’t too bad tho. Don’t know how last gen runs so be careful.

    Overall I enjoyed my time with this game. Can’t wait to get back on and play. If u want something to entertain u for a while this game is perfect. After all isn’t that why we play video games, to be entertained.    … Expand

    First of all, i really love the first Dying Light. It might not have the best story or the best performance on consoles, but the art direction and the overall feel of the gameplay and how much the developers supported this game is phenomenal. Now to Dying Light 2.
    I now played around 40 hours and in my opinion it surpasses the first game in every aspect. The gameplay is perfect and the    First of all, i really love the first Dying Light. Now to Dying Light 2.
    I now played around 40 hours and in my opinion it surpasses the first game in every aspect. The gameplay is perfect and the world with its art direction and its differences during the day and during the might amazes me every time. Of course the story is not on the same level as TLOU2 or RDR2 for example, but its way better than in the fist game and i really enjoy it.
    And regarding bugs etc., with 40 hours in the game already, i have encountered some bugs but by far not gamebreaking ones. Especially after the day one patch.
    In conclusion, compared to the first one, what was already really good, its better in every aspect and i really really love this game!    … Expand

Yes the combat does feel different but the human fighting is amazing but the zombie fighting could be a little better. The game looks beautiful there’s so much to explore and do.     Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
