    Not a very interesting game with repetative quests, unfulfilling endings, and alright gameplay. After all the hours I put in, I gotmost of the side stuff and main storyline beat and was left disappointed and bored. It's Dying Light with all of its flaws and not a lot of charm or polish. I even feel like the layout is a slight downgrade from the original. Just get this when it's on sale orNot a very interesting game with repetative quests, unfulfilling endings, and alright gameplay.     Персонажи пустые, в них нет души, тебе на них насрать. Очень неуместная и сопливая драма, которая заставляет тебя не плакать, а смеяться над тем, насколько глупо, что смерть едва знакомого персонажа    Я реально не знаю, что можно сказать об это игре, потому что это пустышка.

    Главный герой - просто набор фраз и странных решений с очень смешным голосом в русском дубляже. Диалоги - главный пьедестал позора этой игры. Как пример, двое мужиков приходят к механику с претензией о поломке брони. Он им отвечает, что он сделал броню из титана чтобы она была прочной и лёгкой и что она не могла сломаться. Те двое ушли довольные с фразой, мол, ладно, проверим. Если вы ничего не поняли, не переживайте, я тоже, потому что все диалоги этой игры построены именно так, а именно очень глупо.
    Сюжет вообще ни о чём, квесты скучные, а финальный босс это какие-то аниме бои.
    Если хотите попрыгать по красивому городу - покупайте. Для других целей эта игра не годится..    … Expand

Dying light 2 is certainly worth it, if you're looking for a story! fun engaging world, and a feeling of thrill and excitement.     Начнём с того что игра была представлена комьюнити,как продукт качественного эшелона. Что мы имеем в итоге:слабый сюжет, много багов, неинтересных персонажей, однотипные задания, слабую атмосферу и попытка сделать вариативность (и то плохая). И сложно понять почему все так плохо. Techland хотели превзойти первую часть и создать что-то инновационное или же как минимум не хуже первой части.Начнём с того что игра была представлена комьюнити,как продукт качественного эшелона. Играя ты понимаешь кто главный враг, кто отец, где сестра и кто предатель. Даже персонажей не удалось сделать запоминающимися. Только Hakon интересен и то это ностальгия по старым временам. Остальные же второстепенные персонажи не вызывают к себе никакой интерес. С геймплейной точки, игра не может предоставить ничего, что могло бы завлечь игрока. Все те же аванпосты, минимальное количество побочных интересных заданий и провальные ночные задания. В первой части ночь была самым атмосферной и пугаещий частью игры. В DL2 мы имеем быстрые побегушки от точки к точки,лишь бы хоть что-то увидеть. Баги это стандарт для AAA-проектов. Если не одного не встретили значит вы везунчик. Вернёмся к концовкам игры. Фееричный провал и не более. Сделать несколько концовок и все походы как одна, это надо уметь. Все эти проблемы в совокупности заставляют пропустить эту игру,даже фаната первой части. Процесс прокачки и нулевая стамина на начале игры поражает. Активности по карте тоже не имеют ценности (принеси и унеси).… Expand

A week before release there is an annoucment it will be only 20 hours of main story, and barrely 50 fps in full hd wtih 2k15 grahics? Maybe Im just getting to old to play all the crap and clap. But hitting a zombie 8 times in the head just to get it killed is a bit of a joke itself as the whole game. I regret preordering it. IfNot worth the 70€. Game makes the impression being unfinished.     Really feels like a downgrade from the first game and even the Dead Island series. The lack of co-op progression is major let down.     I must say i like the first game more but its really not that bad. For all the Italian gamers you guys should be happy that the voice is missing I am an Austrian and i want the option switching language so bad. The voice acting in german is so bad i have never seen something like that i am not kidding. It ruins the game.
    Update: Dying light points are now in the game.

    1. Zombies - Into the Dying Light 2 you are not at all afraid of zombies, you don't care about them, they are boring and not dangerous. while in dying light 1 you try to get to the shelter before nightfall because it was really hard to survive at night.
    The mechanics of the new zombies are not impressive, they still spit, jump, and others are slow.
    2. Interface - what happened to the interface? Did you hire an interface designer directly from Ubisoft? Seriously, it's very similar to Farcry and Assassin's Creed. The previous interface was not as intuitive, but it was simple and straightforward with its own unique style.
    3. Gameplay mechanics
    The battle became boring and repetitive from time to time, it was simply complicated by dodging and parrying, forgetting about the repulsion of enemies.

    The grappling hook has become very realistic, but we are in the game and the fact that in Dying Light 1 you could quickly move to the roof directly from the ground often saved me from dangerous zombies, oh wait in Dying Light 2 there are no dangerous zombies!

    The paraglider is a great idea, the implementation is **** By the way, in Dying Light 1 there was a paraglider that just helped you descend from a tall building or fly several tens of meters, in Dying Light 2 you fly with this parachute all over the map, but why?

    Parkour has become more interesting due to new tricks, but you can really quickly climb somewhere only towards the end of the game when you don’t need it at all. You have to constantly wait for your stamina to recover.

    4. Quests and main campaign
    Some quests are really interesting and unusual, but they are negligible.
    The main campaign and the main character, to my regret, did not cause any feelings. You don't empathize with the hero, his loss of his sister, you don't feel like you're the hero. in the first part, getting on the quest of the main campaign, Kyle Crane was really in a hurry and ran headlong, remember at least the escape from the pit from Rice.

    Dying Light 2 has its good points, like the layering of the map and its size, the history of the city and its surroundings, but all this does not matter if there is no such work on the details as Dying Light 1.

    In general, the game turned out for a large mass of the average level in order to go through once. I am disappointed and disappointed with the result. We were expecting a completely different game.

    Dying Light 1 was one of the biggest surprises i had. I did not like dead island, so i thought that dying light would be more of that formula, but they did innovate. Not only there was parkour, the story also was interesting (primarily cuz the virus didnt leave Haram. We kept seeing the worlds efforts to fight an apocalyptic virus, leaving innocent people to die so they wouldnt spread theDying Light 1 was one of the biggest surprises i had. For be the biggest deal about dying light 1 was the ragdoll physics. Gta, red dead redemption AND dying light 1 are the only games where i can say the ragdolls feel almost perfect. You hit a zombie in the jaw and you would see his head moving the opposite way with a higher velocity than the rest of the body, thus resulting on the zombie falling on the ground. That was not an pre-defined animation, but a exporadic reaction caused by the hit of my weapon (ofc due to the engine). The weapons had weight and punch to them and the zombies reaction to hits was one of the biggest parts of the game for me.
    Fast forward to 2022 and the game has the generic "zombie virus destroyed the whole civilization" type of plot, parkour looks off (improved, but the feeling isnt quite there) and dont get me started on animations. Ragdolls are non existant for weapon hits. You wont hit a zombie in the face and cause him to fall and try to get up. He'll simply stand there getting hit until the lifebar is fully drained **** off). The dropkick is so strong it looks like the hulk just drop-kicked the zombie.
    In general, the game feels, looks, smells and tastes like dead island 3 and does not import one single great thing of what made Dying Light 1 so immersive and grounded. best comparison would be Ghost Recond Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint (not pay to win. Все портит освещение, превращает игру в мешанину. В местах где горит лампочка, освещенности от нее как от свечи а местами как от прожектора. В общем, освещение оставляет желать лучшего.     Lastly, the weapons blow huge **** You can't find any weapons, they constantly break, and you never have any weapons to begin with.

    No fast traveling.

    No repairs.

Dying Light 2 is the best game to come out in a very long time, however, the story was up there with one of the worst I've ever experienced in gaming. The exploration and overall content in DL2 is incredible, there is vast amounts to explore, loot, and kill. This is why the game really gets a good rating from me, I'm all about open-world exploration, paving my own way, and discovering things for myself.

    Although it may appear I'm being rather generous with a 7/10, the exploration of the city had me constantly coming home from work and switching on my PS5 to experience more. Despite all the positives, the largest and personally the only real glaring issue with the game is the main storyline, which the only thing going for it was the likable/dislikable characters that kept you constantly having to judge whether they were going to betray you or stick with you.

    The story constantly introduced new concepts/situations but never expands on them, even after the epilogue. Take Waltz, for example, you finally encounter him in the car factory, in which he turns into some odd type of infected with incredible abilities and chases you BUT the back story of how Waltz and Aiden have these abilities are never explained. This similar issue appears with the "Butcher", you hear about him constantly and how big and bad he is, yet when you meet him he's actually pretty nice, you can side with him and he sends you on his way, in which you then never see him again, which amasses a total 5 minutes.

    The final boss fight has also taken the throne for being one of the worst I have ever experienced. Cutscene, fight, cutscene, fight, cutscene, fight, cutscene, fight. An incredibly unrewarding and shallow fight, in which Waltz simply stood there and sponged hits, occasionally attacking you with 1 of 3 different styles.

    The ultimate complaint from myself, however, has to be Aiden passing out every 20 seconds, I understand that it was supposed to be due to his infection, but it just felt like lazy writing. Almost every cutscene he would either be punched or simply pass out, for him to then conveniently teleport to the next sequence. Instead of adapting in scenarios where Aiden hauls himself out of a dangerous situation, he would simply pass out and appear exactly where the story needed him to be, it was incredibly boring and honestly painful to play along later in the game. In the final epilogue, I couldn't help myself but count how many times he passed out... 8 times!

    Other more personal issues for me included the ridiculously long prologue, seriously two-hour prologues are just ridiculous. DL1 threw you right in the deep end, whereas slowly walking through the mountains felt a lot more like I was having my handheld being slowly drip-fed into the game.    … Expand

    I had my fun with the game, once you level up and master flow of the city and zombies after you. The game gets pretty fun especially in Co-op with the bros and some beers lol. So hive the game a true, it ain't glitch like it was on launch day.

    There are some toppings that should be cooked first before topping a pizza because they won’t cook fully in the oven during the pizza's cooking time. Any raw meat should be fully cooked before adding it as a topping. Also, any vegetables that you don’t want to be raw on the cooked pizza such as onions, peppers, broccoli, or mushrooms should be sautéed first. ++++For non italian dubbing

    Combat - Zombies will dive at you without warning (most of the time from behind their allies) and you'll be knocked down on the ground. Off-screen random enemies which spawn out of thin air. Good luck trying to access military vehicles as the zombies keep coming at you while you attempt to lock pick the vehicle.

    Unnecessary respawns: Bandits in bandit camp respawn without warning. Howlers at night respawn almost immediately when you take them down with a ranged weapon.

    Illusion of choice: Besides a few crucial decisions (less than 10 in game), most of the story quests are unaffected by your dialogue choices.

    Every choice is a "bad" choice - Any option you select will result in the opposing person cussing at your or even worse, gets his/her entire camp destroyed by the team you support. The game goes out of the way to remind you that all your choices are bad.

    Tonnes of bugs: I had anomalies going missing mid battle while it's still night time, Howlers frozen in place and won't die, completed side quests which are not marked as completed on the map.

    Unrewarding battles: After fighting waves of zombies, you pretty much loot common material and even worse, sometimes no materials at all. You will get hit from off-screen enemies a lot as well.

    My playthrough has been one of the worse experiences from an 'AAA' title. I don't feel motivate to play this horrible game but I've already spent USD 60+ to get it so I'll just complete the story and then uninstall. Really a horrible experience.    … Expand

The verticality of the map, the size of the map, the dense foliage and vibrant colors of the rooftops compared to the desolate, dark sidewalks and roads on-ground.

    Did the marketing team oversell? I think so. I    Techland delivered. Better parkour, better melee combat, the evolution of the grappling hook is extremely appreciated, the paraglider addition is game-changing in the best way. The verticality of the map, the size of the map, the dense foliage and vibrant colors of the rooftops compared to the desolate, dark sidewalks and roads on-ground.

    Did the marketing team oversell? I think so. I think people were expecting a Bethesda RPG in terms of consequences and actions...I can tell you it's not. BUT, it's not far off. You will make decisions that DRASTICALLY impact your playthrough. What's even better is that every side quest is substantial and carries weight. Some even impact your main story!

    Good story, very nice combat and parkour.
    Grapics could be better, quality mode should been with 60fps then the game could been 9/10 but it is a bit repetive with all the climbing. Overall very happy to finishing it.

Combat is definitely not very layered as it is just 90% melee weapon swinging, just dont get surrounded and overwhelmed and most fights have been a breeze. The combat improves when new abilities are unlocked such as the curb stomp and the awesome big damage drop kick. Seriously, you can wack away with a blade or a hammer but a jump and kick does triple the damage. Decent open world map with endless activities to do. Activities like supply caravans, stores, etc. are repeatable to farm valuables for money or parts for crafting. Crafting system is ok, materials are all over and easy to find. Upgrading the crafting recipes is a real pain in the ass as they require an unreasonable amount of monster tokens, most of which have to be farmed at night and don't have a definite drop rate. Most standard recipes seem to require upwards of 50+ uncommon tokens to upgrade fully, and there are at least 50 recipes to upgrade. A standard play session usually netted me somewhere around 20-25 uncommon tokens, so progress on upgrading has been very slow. Copy and pasted skyrim/Fallout lockpicking system could use an overhaul as it is stale at this point. Lockpicking does not pause the game though which keeps the intensity up if there are enemies nearby or if you are in the dark or in the toxic material. I really enjoyed the nighttime travesal and ticking clock game that you would have to play to stay alive. With only around 5 minutes of survival time when outside of daylight or UV light the early parts of the game were much more of a sturggle to stay alive and reach the goal. By mid to late game I had piled up enough immunity boosters and UV shrooms to basically ignore the mechanic all together, with no shortage of resources in sight. The story has been engaging and eventful, there are almost too many named characters to keep track of and follow, the "choices" within story missions lead to some tough decisions. I ultimately sided and gave the nuetral territory resources to the "survivors" because I wanted to make travesal as easy as possible because I like clearing the map in these open world games. The final boss was a **** that had 4 extremely similar and annoying phases, which included unblockable attacks with no rythm and some instant death areas if you fell off. *SPOILERS* The game really fell off in the late game for me, I'll admit I maybe made some wrong key story choices like letting Hakon die and choosing to save Lawan at the end, I definitely got the "bad" ending which always seems to happen to me during these games, I'll still never get over my witcher 3 ending. In the end everybody but me and lawan died and the entire city exploded due to a rocket strike i chose to let happen. Sheesh.… Expand

    Bought the game and played for 4 days before getting stuck in a deathloop. No update going on 14 days now. Absolutely embarrassment of a game. Don't buy save your money, this game should be $30 at most for something 100% unplayable. Pathetic.

I simply don’t care what do I have to fetch or who do I have to save anymore. It’s Farcry 6.5 zombie edition or dying light for 10 year olds rather. Parkour is improved but somehow still less fun than the first game. The heart pumping action where you’re running from volatiles through the slums of Harran is just missing. Chases are still there but somehow it feels empty and lacklustre. Again,this is a last gen game with makeup on. Getting a bit sick and tired of those.Co-op is still fun. Just roaming in the night killing zombies together is a blast so i give this game a 6. It would be a 4 otherwise. I deleted it around 10 hours in just like i did with Farcry 6.     Techland did it again! If you liked Dying Light 1, this is all that package but elevated to the next level. Parkour is better, combat is better in some aspects, story much improved compared to the first one. To top it all off, the city level design truly makes for a parkour dream.     This game is definitely a gem of 2022. The plot is not thrilling, but there are highly rated games where it is worse. Graphics are epic, mechanics could be better - but they are ok. The romance of the main character with some woman is missing. The main storyline could be longer, but it's still longer than the messiah of gaming CP2077.

    This game expands literally every aspect of the previous game from parkour, to combat to stealth and even story. The parkour has been totally overhauled, some moves have been kept but even better ones have been added. You can run on walls, chain moves easier, jump huge gaps, it feels incredible.

    Combat has seen the addition of blocking, some parkour/fighting moves such as vault kicks and a new more RPG weapons system which doesn't allow for as much creativity as the first game, but it also forces you to use more than just one weapon as you can't just craft another of the same thing.

    Stealth is probably the weakest area of the game but it can be important and is reasonably well done. You have your basic stealth system with tables and tall grass to hide in, but the AI is not stupid and will see you pretty easily, so it's somewhat challenging to be quiet. Maybe you like that challenge, it's not my favorite but it is what it is.

    The story is honestly pretty fantastic. I hear a lot of people aren't into it but I genuinely don't understand why. The choices you make certainly feel pretty important to me, and there are some high stakes moments for sure. I would have to play through again to know how much choices matter but they seem pretty important so far. Aside from that I'm always itching to get to the next story mission, and have to force myself into side quests.

    I say that like it's a bad thing, but the side quests are as good as the story if not better. They have cutscenes of the same quality as the campaign, and often tie into the main quests and in some cases can influence them, which is really interesting. Mostly though they are simple, find someone who is looking for someone else, deliver a weird package for a guy, beat the crap out of zombies with a bat that sends them to the moon, etc. There's a great variety here.

    Finally, the biggest thing this game has added is the loot and crafting system. Techla d clearly wanted to make this game an RPG and they delivered. Now blueprints seem to be a bit harder to get, and once you get them they all suck. But you can upgrade them several times, with craftmasters. You could make upgrading certain tools or mods you use a lot your priority, or try to diversify. Whatever you wish, you will have to hunt special zombies like goons and bolters and others for their trophies. Subsequent upgrades are more expensive and require increasingly more rare parts. Ultimately this is about as good of a game as you will find, and it's really something special. A few bad apples are hung up on performance on PC or language options. It's 2022 after all, you need to find something to complain about or you aren't relevant apparently. Absolutely recommend and hope you found the review helpful!    … Expand

    Dark areas, abandoned shops, infected zones and etc were riveted with this COPY-PASTE!

    Mutants in anomalies are always the same types!

    I gave this game 5 hours of my time and turned it off because I was so bored. I played the first one to a platinum trophy and enjoyed it, but this is just the same old enemies, same old pointless side quests all dressed up in new clothes (improved graphics). I honestly could not recommend this to anyone.

    If you liked the first dying light then you should love this. This has a more RPG feel than the first game. The choices you make do effect the world and environment. Story is solid and graphics are good. loads of places to explore. You could spend hours just looting buildings. A must have for any action RPG fan.

    Another solid entry in the Dying Light series. It improves on almost all aspects of its predecessor without revolutionising anything. If you liked DL1 you'll love Dying Light 2. I believe that some of the small issues as well as 1080p resolution on new generation of consoles take the score down a notch. 8/10 seems fair to me.

    I'm having an absolute blast with this game. Love it, can't wait to see the years of free add-ons like they did with the first one. So happy it came out. I have bugs, yes, but they will be fixed and they aren't game breaking.

    Major improvement over the first. Combats fun, parkours a bit slower but there are way more moves and combos that can be executed. I’d say the only drawback besides some technical issues is the story. It was fine, but not as good as it was promised. There were only a few notable characters that I actually somewhat cared about.     Really like the game play and somewhat enjoy the story. Frames tend to drop mid game but I just can't stop playing. Would maybe recommend people hold up till they patch a couple of things to improve the flow of the game. Overall would recommend for anyone who liked the original

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
