    Playing this on PC with a 3080 and the game runs flawlessly. Everything maxed out I get 110 fps. The game is a lot of fun. Graphics are great, characters are interesting, and the missions are fun!

    Incredible game. 3 days in not a single bug, perfect performance, 4k 30fps as stable as a whistle on my ps5, as a fan of the original this is just such an upgrade. Highly recommended.

    I have only made it to just after getting the binoculars and so far but I am quite impressed with the size and vibrance of the world this time around. The RayTracing and DLSS seem to be well implemented as far as I can tell as it runs great on my 3060Ti at 1440p Ultra RT, DLSS balanced.
    I'm not really playing for the story, so I'm not expecting anything to blow me away on that front. Don't believe in perfect scores but the game definitely is a 8/10 at the very minimum. Needs a wee bit more polish but Techland definitely has another great title on its hands here that's ready to carry on the torch for the next few years.    … Expand

    Tha game is incredible! I can get the bad reviews, it's a really good sequence of the first game, I'm having lot of fun!!! Play it, forgot about the haters.

    amazing game to play with a friend having fun killing zombies trying to find legendary weapons and trying them out the drop kicks xddddddddd god its amazing when you see your co-op friends do it it looks damn funny you see enemies flying. nice skills better parkour smooth gameplay some glitches not that bad the co-op had a problem but got fixed for me . every quest is a new story andamazing game to play with a friend having fun killing zombies trying to find legendary weapons and trying them out the drop kicks xddddddddd god its amazing when you see your co-op friends do it it looks damn funny you see enemies flying. nice skills better parkour smooth gameplay some glitches not that bad the co-op had a problem but got fixed for me . every quest is a new story and characters. amazing action story for real your choices matter some characters died bec of my choices after that happened i really wanted to restart the story and see what will happen if I picked another choice. for a zombie game story its a 9/10 slow pace early 5 hours after that it goes fast gorges open-world you feel freedom in it full of obstacles for parkour you feel the world is just a parkour paradise. people asking for help hearing people die enemies screams amazing atmosfear nice easter eggs. for a zombie game its a 10/10 best open-world zombie game sandbox . just don't forget to play with your friends it will make it better 1000% good night good luck… Expand

    Was waiting on this sequel since I loved the first one which seemed to come out of nowhere last console generation. Definitely a hidden gem.

    Dying Light 2 is much of the same I came to love in the first game but now is greatly expanded upon. Gameplay is just as addicting, and parkouring through the city feels better than ever.     Sorry to see there is now PVP in this one, (took a point off for that) but hopefully that’s coming in a future update. Game looks great on PS5, in performance mode (60 FPS).

    Have yet to come across any bugs that I can tell, nor anything that has stopped my progression in game.

    9/10 would pay full price again!!    … Expand

    I'm having a blast playing DL2, great graphics, runs smoothly, im pushing to unlock the drop kick asap. Haters gonna Hate and we will enjoy this game 10 times more.

    Dying Light 2 é claramente uma evolução do 1 tanto em fluidez de parku combate com zumbis e humanos e dinâmica na customização de personagem e modificação de armas mas, como em qualquer jogo tem seus problemas técnicos como textura, física etc. Contudo creio que em breve vai melhorar nesse quesito já que a desenvolvedora prometeu suporte durante anos nesse jogo.

    Optimization in this game, very even nothing. I don’t have very good hardware, it’s a little higher than the minimum, but it plays at stable 60 frames, but in the city there were drawdowns up to 40, but this can be pushed to my PC. There are enough bugs in the game, but it can be forgiven, because the game itself was released a couple of days ago (in the same cyberpunk it was much worse), I think there will be much less of them in the near future.
    And if you go with friends, it will become much more interesting and more fun. If you liked the first part, definitely take the second.    … Expand

    This game is breathtakingly beautiful, the sound design evokes emotion as you play the game. You can get lost in this world, in it's beauty in the interesting characters. Holy mackerel the story telling got leveled up a ton between DL1 and this game. I feel like the storys are a little "less hokey" then in the first game. The factions give an interesting dynamic.

    Love the game. Some bugs here and there but nothing as bad as the way the Italians are acting. Which is funny because 99% of their reviews are in English. Get over it you self obsessed Gabba ghouls. I honestly was going to give it an 8 but the whiners made me increase my score.

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human brings all of the basics from the original Dying Light; however, it makes it all better and more fluid. Despite very minor bugs, my play through was very smooth and the only bug I experienced was an audio issue. The color palette and graphics quality brings a new and refreshing environment to the zombie apocalypse. Who ever said that zombie apocalypses looked likeDying Light 2: Stay Human brings all of the basics from the original Dying Light; however, it makes it all better and more fluid. Despite very minor bugs, my play through was very smooth and the only bug I experienced was an audio issue. The color palette and graphics quality brings a new and refreshing environment to the zombie apocalypse. Who ever said that zombie apocalypses looked like nothing but gloom and doom? Combat is more fun and refined with the new blocking and parrying system in addition to being able to mix parkour into combat as well. Stringing attacks together from one opponent to the next makes it fluid but also addicting despite the combat being sort of redundant at times. Parkour is more realistic in terms of movement / fluidity but also insanely fun as you develop new skills and encounter new obstacles throughout the game. Customization and weapon modding has improved with more personalized options of customization for Aiden and his weapons. This is a spoiler free review so I will be very cut and dry with my content review in terms of THE MAIN STORY. The story is a rollercoaster depending on the choices you make. I wish Aiden developed more as a character throughout; however, you will enjoy seeing surrounding characters develop depending on your choices with who you help. Overall, I am pleased with this game. It is immersive and all around a fun experience. With minimal bugs that aren’t detrimental to the entire game, I still enjoyed my experience from beginning to the end of the main story quests. Do not let some reviews turn you away. This is all a matter of opinion including my own but this is something you should experience yourself.… Expand

    This game plays and looks AWESOME. Parkour is smooth and freedom of movement amazes me. It's a pleasure to watch the city and run through it. Personally I love all the small details that were prepared with care, random encounters. This game has also a HUUUGE amount of easter eggs and references to everything.

    This game is so cool. There is no other games with as good gameplay. Parkour, fight and feelings during the game are awesome. I really recomend try this game for everybody.

    Great improvement of ideas from previous game, interesting enough story. If you like the first game - you definitely need this one. Yes of course it is not a next gen, not close, but the impact and feel of movement and impact in fights will give you wonderful emotions.

    So I own a ps5, and I'm able to download the ps5 version with better frame rate and resolution, however if I want to play with my friends that's still on ps4, I need to play the ps4 version of the game and my save data DOES NOT carry over between the 2 versions. Now I'm stuck with the last gen version of the game on my next gen console just to play with friends.

    Absolutely love the game. The graphics are amazing for the detail of the open world. The sound design is next level (my only suggestion would be the foley cloth sounds are a touch too loud. But that’s the sound designer speaking). The game is fun, the story is interesting and it is beautiful. Not sure what else you could ask for.

    The side quest can be funny, really. But feel a bit off when you‘re on a literally search mission for your sister.

    The combat feels nice and smooth and never had any trouble with it.

    You will face some minor framedrops (approximately 5-10 FPS when moving REALLY fast), but nothing unplayable.

    Overall people need to set their expectations lower and shouldn‘t hope that every game becomes a masterpiece.

    Techland has managed to take a lot of what worked with the first game and either remove it or make it worse. The result is a game that is nowhere near as fun to play as the first game.

    This game at release is not just a disappointment but a deception. I cannot understand why they choose to market this game years ahead of its release while delivering such a mess of a game

    Here's an idea: Why don't you focus on making a competent game first and then take it to market. It's like the people at Techland that have been hyping the game years in advance and selling promises of greatness have never actually played it or had any first-hand experience with the game. They’re just quoting from a script of ‘key features’ and ‘unique selling points’ that’s been cooked up for them…

    I heard that the CEO is obsessed with copying other AAA devs like ubisoft, EA and CD Projekt Red which explains a lot. That, coupled with egos and bad eggs in leadership roles at Techland (according to many interviews/articles) that are blocking good ideas and insisting on their own, has left players with a confused and mediocre experience.

    The best thing that could happen to this franchise now is if Techland sell the IP to a competent dev such as Kojima studios, Naughty Dog (Pre-TLOU2) or Fromsoft and then we might finally see an open-world Zombie parkour experience realised anywhere near close to it's potential.

    If Techland were to make another game after this, please just play to your strengths. You've hampered both games down to mediocre uninteresting stories with bad writing and voice work. Ditch the 'Story-driven experience' and just make a gamers game. Base building, scavenging, defending against zombie hordes, other factions, fun character progression/customisation, and just let players create their own story in the world. You could do this in 3 years, not 7.

    Also coop is currently broken and when it is working it’s not very fun. Instance after instance. Go somewhere, talk to person - ’waiting for players to proceed’, go to door - ’waiting for players to proceed’ - Go fetch item - ’waiting for players to proceed’, and on it goes…

    Pros:

    ⁃ Parkour is still largely satisfying and more versatile than first game
    ⁃ Added some cool parkour combat moves
    ⁃ Some good world design here
    ⁃ Perfomance mode on PS5 is mostly stable 60 fps
    ⁃ Gameplay flows a bit better between day and night (imo)

    Cons:

    ⁃ Some parkour animations have been redone but are worse - ‘Slide’, Grapple’ etc
    ⁃ Combat is repetitive and unsatisfying - Worse than first game
    ⁃ Ragdoll physics worse
    ⁃ Story and writing is painful
    ⁃ Too many cutscenes
    ⁃ Character dialogue rambles on (what could be said in 15 seconds takes 3 minutes)
    ⁃ Coop is broken/buggy at launch
    ⁃ Coop boils down to running from instance to instance. Can’t even spot/mark things for each other
    ⁃ Exploration of map inline with Ubisoft games - Mark an icon on the map and run to it
    ⁃ Bugs for days… All the same bugs that were in the first game still remain here 7 years later (How has this not been picked up on? Since you supported the first game for 5 years after launch. How are these same bugs here again?)
    ⁃ X-ray feature in combat removed
    ⁃ Moon gravity with parkour and combat. Everything feels ‘weightless’
    ⁃ Many standard ‘Quality of life” elements from other open-world games are not here
    ⁃ Menus are frustrating to navigate
    ⁃ Game is littered with bad game design choices
    ⁃ Story faction choices are underwhelming. Only a few make a difference, the rest are pointless
    ⁃ Removed survivor skill tree when it would have carried over to this game just fine.
    ⁃ Character progression and skill trees not as satisfying
    ⁃ 1080p 60fps on PS5 (thought we were past this?)
    ⁃ Removed volatiles and any threat from night time (Need to make a lvl 4 chase happen to see them)
    ⁃ Sun-baked lighting from first game is gone. Lighting feels flat and you can no longer ‘feel’ the sun going down and night coming like the first game.
    ⁃ Graphics look outdated (More PS4 than PS5)
    ⁃ Can’t repair weapons ⁃ Only 1 weapon moveset across all weapons - left…right… (What a missed opportunity) ⁃ Aiden is the exact the same character as Kyle Crane ⁃ Story and quest design is outdated (ok in 2015, not in 2022) ⁃ Enemy variety and attacks are same and boring to fight ⁃ All weapons handle the same and feel generic It sounds like they’re strived so hard to be a AAA studio and release a AAA game, and they might have just achieved it, but that’s not a good thing imo…    … Expand

    Es un JUEGAZO, pese a haber tenido review bombing por parte de los usuarios (o tal vez sean bots de Sony para allanar el camino a Horizon?j es un juego que mejora en muchísimo al anterior. Jugabilidad de 10, historias secundarias de 11 y más! No es una continuación con mejores gráficos como el de Aloy.. JUEGAZO!!!!

    The story is not bad. It's actually pretty good, with great set pieces, interesting characters. It's very engaging.

    The choices you make do have an impact on your experience. You literally will have entirely different missions depending on what you choose. There is like ten different paths to take in the middle and 3 endings. This game reminded me of a bethesda game except the gameplay was actually good.

    Don't skip this. Techland brought us a banger, and will continue to update for 5 years.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Игру убили, но тонна хомяков (80% положительных комов) тупо схавали!
    1)В игре нет мелких деталей (которые были в 1 части) вообще. К примеру: стрелы теперь пропадают а не торчат в дереве, Нет капелек воды на камере во время выныривания, отсутствует анимация ныряния с большой высоты,отсутствует анимация ПАДЕНИЙ В ИГРЕ ПРО ПАРКУР!!! Если в 1 части ГГ судорожно и в панике махал руками от страха, то тут он просто летит без какой либо анимации. Это можно продолжать долго но нет смысла, суть ясна.
    2) убита боевка, в игре нет физики тел! ТО ЕСТЬ если ударить зомби в живот он пригинался, в плечо: Он толкался в плечо, и так далее. Так вот тут этого нет! А в 1 части было (недавно зашел и сравнил).
    3)Паркур убит: Гравитация тут работает под какимт непонятным углом, ее тупо нет! ГГ БУКВАЛЬНО во время прыжка зависает в воздухе.
    4)Нет интерактивного окружения с миром к примеру: Вы не можете притянуть зомбака к себе кошкой, или нет открывающихся кошкой вентеляций(как в трейлере) есть только: бутылки копья и кирпичи с балонами. Это все интерактивные объекты.
    5)Сюжет это просто Пи"дец, без комментариев
    6)Вариативности тупо нет, в игре всего 6 концовок 5 из которых друг от друга вообще почти не отличаются.
    7)В игре нет НГ+ (что убивает реиграбельность)
    8)В игре нет эндгейма, вообще.
    9)ОТСУТСТВУЕТ ЛЮБАЯ мотивация начинать игру заново.
    10)В игре на момент редакции НЕТ текстового чата между игроками в сессии :DDDD
    ИТОГ: Игра на 30-40 часов геймплея из которых 20 гринд. Не знакомы с 1 частью? самое время ее купить, а не этот кусок дерьма.
    UPD: Как оказалось в игре используется множество звуков из первой игры, и по возможности буду добавлять какие именно!
    [Звук перелома шеи врагу, Голос во время припадков Эйдена, дропкик, Звук падения на мусорку,Звук зиплайна,Звук включения фонарика,звук залаз по лестнице,звук отмычек,звук ходьбы по мет-объектам, звук"тарана",звук подката,звук переката]

    Good: gameplay, side quests, multiplayer, multiplot story, cool sandbox, cool mechanics, and cool parkour (the best part of the game, every time you go to any mark, you're thinking how to get there, which way you can go faster and more handsome).
    Bad: bugs (a lot of, especially at story quests), no Italian (but it's pardonably), not that good story.

Aiden the main character has gotten knocked out by random people at LEAST 23 times since I started the game. How are we medically enhanced humans that are super strong and resilient yet we can’t block a single punch from ANYONE. It’s pathetic and disgusting.     This game is incredible. The soundtrack, the graphics, the gameplay, it is all there. There is so much to do and explore. The multiplayer is also a blast. I recommend picking up this game for sure.

    This game outperforms the last in almost every aspect.

    The game has a very intriguing opening and very good world-building that got me invested in what was happening. Dealing with the infected especially at night remains a fun experience just like in the first game. The parkour is absolutely fabulous and feels so fun to just jump from roof to roof or use any assortment of traversal mechanics. The design of Villedor is amazing and feels    Pros-

The design of Villedor is amazing and feels very lived in, The choice and consequence mechanic they used in marketing is so well done and thought out and makes me more invested in the story. The choices you make have an impact on the world you are playing in and you can definitely feel it.

    Cons-
    Sometimes the writing in the story feels a bit clumsy and can take away from serious moments. The voice acting outside of the main cast is a hit or miss and ruins the sense of immersion. The skill tree and leveling up system in the game feels a bit unbalanced especially early on in the game (like locking off wall-running or other skills that should have been part of the basic move-set). I also experienced some bugs and a few crashes but nothing game breaking.

    Conclusion-
    The sheer ambition that Techland was going for in Dying Light 2 is something that needs to be praised. This game is gorgeous and is a blast to play. I have so much fun just running around Villedor and taking out infected and other bandits, The story is a bit hit or miss and sometimes the bad writing can let down an otherwise impactful scene but I had so much fun playing the game I can't say it was a deal breaker. If you loved the original then you will love this one and even if you didn't there is so much fun to be had here    … Expand

    This game is amazing, its everything i wanted in a sequel to DL. I'm invested in the story, I love the characters. the gameplay is fantastic. I'm so happy with how this came out. It looks phenomenal on a 4k TV. Good job Techland, cant wait to see what you do with it in the next 5 years.

The lighting effects are a joke, especially when there are black outlines. The black outlines makes this game look like a Telltale game. The open world in this game is boring and repetitive. The physics are beyond horrible. There are too many bugs and glitches. The trees look like trash. This game looks and feels like an off-brand Far Cry game.

    The co-op in this game is trash. Too many framerate drops. The greedy developers didn't even bother to make a PvP mode, despite the previous installment having PvP. The developers would rather brag about the game being 500 hours long. It's 500 hours alright, 500 hours of boredom. How about they spend time giving us PvP, instead of 500 hours of meaningless content. I don't recommend this game at all.    … Expand

    I was a bit sceptic a few days ago with all the bad reviews going on from little butthurts becuase I was already pre-order it, but everything was as I expected, great graphics even in 1080p, great and improved gameplay, good story, nice skill tree and everything. This is a game from techland, will improve it better, they've always considered peoples oppinion. Overall is better than the first one.

    Literally only came here because of some of the reviews I have seen. The game is great. I am a fairly picky gamer. I have played so soo many games it's not even funny. I have played boring games and games that get stale like Assassins creed, or far cryThis game is not far cry, it's a dope game. Buy it.

    Around 8 hours in, and I can already say this game is everything I wanted from a sequel to Dying Light 2. Awesome parkour, fun combat, great music and a great explorable environment. I can't wait to see what the rest of the game has in store!

    This game is really good. I see what they have done in 7 years, and it's amazing. Personally, I love the combat. Parkour is wonderful. The story isn't that good, but it's okay. Also, I didn't meet any bug in my 25 hours in the game.

    8/10 - surprisingly few bugs on launch (PS 5 1 crash so far, 1 quest bug). Great gameplay, parkour, combat. Story so so, funny side quests. Coop amazing.

    Gioco valido con un gameplay solido e divertente così come il level design, purtroppo sinceramente mi aspettavo di più sotto certi punti di vista come la storia principale o come determinate texture che addirittura risultano più belle sul primo capitolo.     Overall enjoyable game but there are a lot of problems with the game. The gameplay shines its better than the firsts gameplay but almost everything else really holds it back which is unfortunate but its still enjoyable

    The feeling when the previous part was better. Animations were made like by 10$ freelancers. Moreover, why would they do a rpg game about zombie apocalypse?? You can't stealth kill a zombie just because it's 1 level higher than u :d. Deserved 0/10, pathetic game.

    Italians are angry when they don't get some game dubbed in their language while we Poles are extremely happy when we can get at least subtitles in foreign games. Don't act entitled. There is plethora of languages in the world that don't get their own dubs in most games at all.

    Incredible, I am enjoying the story very much. the setting is extraordinary and the combat is rewarding, exciting. I can also say that the chases is pure adrenaline. On PlayStation 5 it runs perfectly.

Its done the ridiculas effort to "avert the male gaze", like their priestess and savior (Sarkesian Anita) demanded.
    I've seen it before and if there is a pinch of progressive Sjw activism on the surface, then there is a pound lurking below..And that's all well and good,  but what I can't get over or suport is who these developers are..They are people that hate us!, hate us for our sex, skin colour  and consumer practices..They hate us on Twitter, in the forums and in their progressive journalist interviews. They hate us and I will never pay people that hate us ever again. So I'm gonna throw the " Ultimate Spiderman "disk in my OG Xbox an play that instead, a game that was made  by people that didn't hate us and had only one goal, to make a game we would enjoy.    … Expand

Dialogue feels like it was written by an angry 7th grader, dropping the F word so much it's lost its meaning. Classic dumbing down for future money grabs - Many things removed - guns, survival tree, driveable buggy,Some improvements over the first, but overall not as good. First game was marketed to an older age group, had more realistic graphics, and overall more realism and mystery. Dialogue feels like it was written by an angry 7th grader, dropping the F word so much it's lost its meaning.     I haven’t been this hooked on a game in a long time. I can’t put it down. Great graphics, story and gameplay and last but not least, it’s not filled with a bunch of woke identity politics that makes you cringe at every scene and character.

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
