    I don‘t unterstand why a lot of people hate on this game that much. I understand the frustration about the glitches or bugs, but what we have to do is to analyse the downgrades and upgrades. The game offers a lot in regards to Dying Light. The parkour is far superior and the story feels a bit tight. Combat is also far far far better than it has been before. Graphics are also welcome and itI don‘t unterstand why a lot of people hate on this game that much. And with this big sandbox, the game offers you so much freedom of choice. It is your playstyle that matters and when you are at the end, you will feel the consequences of your choices and that is the best thing the game offers.… Expand

    I always say, good games get's less than decent ratings half of the time cause the people who love them already voted with their money and aren't coming here. these rating here are mostly by people who for one reason or another hate the game. Dying light 2 is certainly worth it, if you're looking for a story! fun engaging world, and a feeling of thrill and excitement.     ucking fun yeah it doesn't have some features from the first game. But it doesn't take away the aspects it improved combat is better with a various skill tree. Parkour has substantially Improved with more moves to chain together to put together a montage of crazy stunts. There is definitely alot to do in the game despite some **** being recycled. Gear system is pretty good I kinda prefer this weapon system over the first game. I feel like when more content comes out for this game it's gonna be a underrated gem. As for the zombies they don't have alot of variety but the first game kinda didn't also. So I can genuinely deal with it. Violatiles are still present but in night zones and with the chase meter. Imo the chase meter is awesome and definitely gives me that scare adrenaline as the first game but I also wish violatiles was present at night standing around with the howelers it would make it way more intimidating to touch the ground. I haven't ran into gamebreaking bugs yet I'm.on ps5 but I have ran into two bugs battle music audio and howler being frozen. Overall I highly recommend this game. But definitely wait for a couple patches for the best experience for some. For people who don't have issues like myself enjoy.    … Expand

    Es un JUEGAZO, pese a haber tenido review bombing por parte de los usuarios (o tal vez sean bots de Sony para allanar el camino a Horizon?j es un juego que mejora en muchísimo al anterior. Jugabilidad de 10, historias secundarias de 11 y más! No es una continuación con mejores gráficos como el de Aloy.. JUEGAZO!!!!

    the story is so predictable. and the gameplay is repetitive. the content is long but it's only because they stretched it out as long as possible. it's a classic quantity over quality game with shallow writing and character development.

    8.5 for me but will give 10 to counter the review bombers. About 5 hours in and loving it! If you liked the first one you'll like this one. Seems like there's plenty to do, parkour is super fun. Character progression feels rewarding.

    these early game reviews are far too critical, the game is amazing

    sure the storyline isnt the best but it sure isnt the worst

    a couple of bugs here and there sure but the game is still very playable and im sure will be patched out soon enough

    This game is incredible. The soundtrack, the graphics, the gameplay, it is all there. There is so much to do and explore. The multiplayer is also a blast. I recommend picking up this game for sure.

    This game outperforms the last in almost every aspect.

    I accidentally became a huge fan of the first game after I realized I replayed it three times. 20 hour DLC included. When the first one came out, there were problems. Each time I came back it was twice as good as the previous time. Dying Light 2 has bugs, but that's it. I love everything about the game already, 15 hours in. It's SO...ambitious. From what I played, they nailed about 85%I accidentally became a huge fan of the first game after I realized I replayed it three times. 20 hour DLC included. When the first one came out, there were problems. Each time I came back it was twice as good as the previous time. Dying Light 2 has bugs, but that's it. I love everything about the game already, 15 hours in. It's SO...ambitious. From what I played, they nailed about 85% of what they were trying to go for. I can look past all the bugs besides one. I can't sell any weapons or armor. Well some, but not all of them. I've sold maybe 20 and have 30+ waiting for the menu to register their existence. But thats it! Everything else has been amazing. I know they'll add on a HUGE dlc like last time (specially since they already announced it) and more improvments along the way. I wish it would get a re-review by all the big reviewing publishers in about 6 months.… Expand

    Боевая система сразу же расстроила, интерфейс тоже. Однако поиграв часов 20 в игру, я получаю искренний кайф от кадого боя в этой игре.
    Сразу же пошли отсылки на историю и персонажей первой части, и меня, как фаната серии, радуют эти переплетения!
    Судя по тому, как я проходил дл1, вы могли заметить, что я люблю изучать всю игру вдоль-и-поперёк, и то, что в этом мире полне всяких сторонних активностей - это супер! Почему если тебе нравится как работает игра, ты будешь страдать от большого количества гринда? Я только рад что я останусь в этой игре подольше.
    Наиграл уже 80 часов, и ни капли не жалею о том, что потратил деньги и провёл в ней это время, к слову, сюжет я так и не прошёл, я почти что в самом начале, зато уже открыл весь первый город и сделал все сайд-квесты и активности! Просто кайф!

    The game overall is amazing!! Sure, theres a few issues, but the gameplay makes up for it! The parkour is a major step up from the first version. Its smooth its fun its exhilarating!! Night times is much more lenient than the first one as well. I actually prefer night time, to go out and just start chases, up till that Volatile comes that's when things get real!!!     amazing game to play with a friend having fun killing zombies trying to find legendary weapons and trying them out the drop kicks xddddddddd god its amazing when you see your co-op friends do it it looks damn funny you see enemies flying. nice skills better parkour smooth gameplay some glitches not that bad the co-op had a problem but got fixed for me . every quest is a new story andamazing game to play with a friend having fun killing zombies trying to find legendary weapons and trying them out the drop kicks xddddddddd god its amazing when you see your co-op friends do it it looks damn funny you see enemies flying. nice skills better parkour smooth gameplay some glitches not that bad the co-op had a problem but got fixed for me . every quest is a new story and characters. amazing action story for real your choices matter some characters died bec of my choices after that happened i really wanted to restart the story and see what will happen if I picked another choice. for a zombie game story its a 9/10 slow pace early 5 hours after that it goes fast gorges open-world you feel freedom in it full of obstacles for parkour you feel the world is just a parkour paradise. people asking for help hearing people die enemies screams amazing atmosfear nice easter eggs. for a zombie game its a 10/10 best open-world zombie game sandbox . just don't forget to play with your friends it will make it better 1000% good night good luck… Expand

    My expectations were high and the game still exceeded them for me.

    i'm 29 hours in, and loving it. The soundtrack is awesome and the parkour is satisfying.

A lot of people worked on this game. Most of you Italian enthusiasts haven't even picked up the game. Stop punishing Techland for doing the best they could. These people had it rough developing this game. They are known for improving their games over time. An Italian language option will probably get worked into the game in a future update or something. But like Jesus Christ guys. I hate the fact that the user score is either stagnant or decreasing. Techland is not a bad company and DL2 is not a bad game. I'm enjoying it a lot actually. Please have some sympathy. Game development is hard it takes a lot of hardwork and dedication. You wouldn't want something that you worked on and put genuine effort into to be hated and despised for being flawed. None of us would like that, put yourself in their shoes look at this with an open mind. There is a lot to love in this game and I don't think it's fair for techland or DL2 to suffer just because they had to make some cutbacks for the game to be released this year.     A very good game, I like every element, and the most unique is parkour, combat, music. Villedor looks very good and has a great atmosphere in the city especially at night. Without revealing too much of the plot at night there is an adrenaline rush and a chase element which gives a lot of satisfaction. It's just a good game, I had no bugs, time well spent.

    This game is really fun. I haven't played anything for a long time that felt this good. It seems like a lot of games recently just lack the "need" to improve and keep playing. This game has that. I miss when games were fun and this brings it back. It has some silly bugs and stuff but if you look past that. It seems like a lot of games recently just lack the "need" to improve and keep playing. This game has that. I miss when games were fun and this brings it back. It has some silly bugs and stuff but if you look past that. And give Techland a chance to improve this with updates you won't regret purchasing this. I feel like a lot of people banded together to spread hate to this game. I would give more attention to critic reviewers then the user reviews. Honestly if you think about it when people just decide they hate something without trying it they start to leave reviews without even playing the game. And I don't feel like that's fair because how could they have a clear view of what it is like.… Expand

    I was wrong about Dying light 2 the game is amazing. Dying light 2 has a dame good story that keeps you hooked all the way to the end & the gameplay is much better then the first game I still can't put the controller down running jumping climbing fighting is a blast & the world design is one of the best I've seen. it's a must own game. on PS5 I haven't had a single problem no bugs nothing

    This game is breathtakingly beautiful, the sound design evokes emotion as you play the game. You can get lost in this world, in it's beauty in the interesting characters. Holy mackerel the story telling got leveled up a ton between DL1 and this game. I feel like the storys are a little "less hokey" then in the first game. The factions give an interesting dynamic.

    dying light 2 to my surprise exceeded my expectations on so many levels. in my opinion it is a massive upgrade from the first game here is why:

    1- incredible parkour 2- amazing story which actually gave me goosebumps at times 3- ambiance is a solid 10/10 4- combat got a massive upgrade on so many aspects 5- the environment and NPCs in general received some well needed upgrades    dying light 2 to my surprise exceeded my expectations on so many levels. in my opinion it is a massive upgrade from the first game here is why:

The original was never advertised to have a ground breaking story so i did not expect this one to have the same.     Ok I will give an honest review here because people are knocking it for things that don't relate to important things like performance and gameplay like replay ability. I have put almost fifty hours in and it is extremely addicting. Quests are interesting, different and have cool rewards. Well I have a copy of the PS5 version and eventually will get a PS4 copy but it runs really smooth. I don't know why this game is getting knocked for bugs. I have only experienced two bugs one that cut out dialogue in the beginning of the story in one sentence and one that makes the characters eyes grey. After the day 1 patch that was resolved. I would play the next gen experience however in performance only with locked 60fps because the other two modes are pretty rough running at 30fps. Like the first the big highlight is the open world parkour and how fun and unique it is. Im not going to base this review off the first because that isn't fair because just a for warning to those returning Dying Light players this is a completely new experience. It is very different and lots of different mechanics and atmosphere. It takes time to get at that level of being a badass like in the first one but it is very satisfying when you reach it. Also, those concerned about guns and other things that maybe absent that people enjoyed so much in the first one. Just be transparent and join the Dying Light community because this company has a good reputation for communicating with their community. This game I would rate a 10/10 just because of the pure dumb fun that can be done again like in the first one with a very interesting story.… Expand

    I’ve just started this game and everything about it is awesome! The graphics, gameplay and seriously the detail into the world is just so thought out. Great work by the designers.

Not too complex or deep. People comparing to Cyberpunk are stupid. Cyberpunk is boring af. Havent touched that garbage pile in almost a year. Plus Cyberpunk isnt even close to being a complete experience. Parkour is slow at first but once you start leveling and picking your traits its gets faster and cooler. Not having guns is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, think of it as a fantasy RPG. Besides it makes sense that there are no guns left (There is bows and a makeshift ranged weapon deeper in the game). The world is different and has changed in 15 years and not alot of people or structures survived. Combat is satisfying and works great. I loved the first game, but it got boring in parts and i had to push myself through. This game adds colors,music, atmosphere and better AI then the first one. The atmosphere in this game is so freaking cool!!! Feels very immersive. The sound design is so awesome!! When you hear little things in the distance or down below and are creeped out, its very cool! Love it!! The mix between fighting Zombies and Humans is perfect!! 10/10. Buy this game you wont regret it!!!!… Expand

    First of all, i really love the first Dying Light. It might not have the best story or the best performance on consoles, but the art direction and the overall feel of the gameplay and how much the developers supported this game is phenomenal. Now to Dying Light 2.
    I now played around 40 hours and in my opinion it surpasses the first game in every aspect. The gameplay is perfect and the    First of all, i really love the first Dying Light.     And regarding bugs etc., with 40 hours in the game already, i have encountered some bugs but by far not gamebreaking ones. Especially after the day one patch.
    In conclusion, compared to the first one, what was already really good, its better in every aspect and i really really love this game!    … Expand

    Great game, I'm pretty happy that I've bought that game even if cost is pretty big. And for little kids from Italian that is one of the most funniest countries of world. I'm happy that Techland didn't give Italian audio and I hope this game after showing how stupid you guys are will not get it. Go change the conflict sides as always. + stop crying + none asked

The world, parkour, and the exploration that it brings is easily the coolest part of the game.     The story is not bad. It's actually pretty good, with great set pieces, interesting characters. It's very engaging.

    The choices you make do have an impact on your experience. You literally will have entirely different missions depending on what you choose. There is like ten different paths to take in the middle and 3 endings. This game reminded me of a bethesda game except the gameplay was actually good.

    Don't skip this. Techland brought us a banger, and will continue to update for 5 years.    … Expand

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
