    Absolutely terrible game. Loot sucks. Repetitive as all hell. No thought put in to it what so ever to try and make it decent. Do NOT waste your money.

    Basically you pay 70euros for a game that requires you to start a new character every 3 months, otherwise you wont be able to enjoy the new content. I dont have the time to grind 8 hours a day, i built my character to lvl 78 on what is now eternal realm, which became useless with the season 1. Now i am indirectly "forced" to start over, maybe even pay the battle pass to enjoy whats new.Basically you pay 70euros for a game that requires you to start a new character every 3 months, otherwise you wont be able to enjoy the new content.     After the pre-season update, not only did it diminish player’s original experience, but it also ruined the daily goals that players used to enjoy logging in for.     I don't think the designers understand what the purpose of the game is, they just keep prolonging the game.
    It is recommended to save money to play other games

Playing the base game (only relased 6 weeks ago) is now a massive chore, "So why not buy a pass for our new season!" Poorly thought through, text book manipulation of your customer base. I wont forget this Blizzard / Activision. Campfire chat was justification and aStart of season 1 we see the developers true colours, Huge game breaking nerfs across the board to almost everything.     Instead of giving the game more depth and content they slower the progress with nerfs so the player will hopefully play longer and buy more cosmetics. There is no Season 1 content! The few gems and uniques are a joke. The new season "questline" is a complete joke! The Season Journey is connected to the Battlepass ?! So without Battlepass you feel like you dont get the fully potential of your reward. Thats marketing psychology! They hunt for the whales instead of focusing what the community wants.

    So all in all the content of the Season 1 is:
    -Battlepass
    -Ingame Shop

    -> increasing player retention without adding new content
    -> increased player retention -> bigger profit

    Blizzard is completely out of touch with their own game. The most recent patch makes the game less fun. They don’t understand the mechanics of the game, resistances don’t work, Sorcerers are completely unplayable after the patch and were handicapped before it. The itemization is terrible, the aspects and affixes are convoluted and not fun.

    Lazy work on developer, unable to balance the actual issue so instead they nerf the overall game make ông playing experience almost unbearable. All the feedbacks from customers were ignored, the class that actually need help were nerfed to the ground. Developers were so out of touch with the game to the point of incompetent, too lazy of playing the actual game to know the exact problem.

    bad qol , disgusting campaign Blizzard even didn’t show thier attitudes that try to solve those problems.

    They continue to ignore player feedback and refuse to address obvious problems with the game. This game is under-developed, un-polished, and designed to waste your time. The game was released with lack of content, so they nerfed everything to the ground slowing player progression and then expect everyone to believe that wasn't the intention. We aren't the cash cow idiots you think we are.

    As a main sorcerer players, these game directors and dev team members since the beginning they nerfed the **** out of this character. I,m a casual player but seeing the difficulty of play they killed the enjoyment out of the game.     Bizzard explained on the last campfire that this is a half-baked game, basically, we are on a beta test for the next 10-15 seasons until they can figure out how to balance the game they created and "tested"...

They already announced 2 paid expansions, so we don't see the full game until we buy 2 more 40$ expacs a year from now. No ladder til season 3. Season 3 isn't for 6 months. 7 months until the game starts. What did we pay for again? Oh yeah to do the same dungeon over and overthis game is a serious scam, blizzard should go to jail for this.     I made an account just to leave a bad feedback for diablo iv. The nerf for sorcerer is unbelievable! Also they made me look stupid that i did buy the game day one! The literally canceled my character and 80+ hours of gaming for season 1!

Some of the decision made are just...odd, they made a loot based game with boring loot, a dungeon crawler with cut and paste repetitive dungeons with no significant differences from one to the next- 150 dungeons with just a handful of bosses and once done with the campaign you never get to see those bosses ever again. The cost of rebuilding your character to try new things is only possible if you, once again play 10+hours a day and even then is just ridiculous. They had 3 previous games to build off of but decided they wanted to shoot for a more AARPG/MMO style game but then start taking out multiplayer aspects because they decided a small percent of players are leveling too fast and shining a spotlight on the fact they biffed the endgame? So the decision was to make leveling even worse for others so they dont have a chance to get there? Not everything is bad but if you throw a pearl in an elephant turd and people arent gonna glove up and look for the pearl. Collapse… Expand

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
