    El juego es pésimo, ya con el 5 venían en decadencia pero este juego esta muy mal hecho. Lo único rescatable es portal, y la movilidad del soldado. Los subfusiles están mas op en larga distancia que un arma de asalto. Mapas gigantes sin cobertura para dejarte regalado con los helicópteros o cualquier otro vehículo.     It’s just a poor, rushed game that had huge potential. While playing, you can truly see moments of innovation, passion and commitment. However, the games sheer amount of bugs, lack of content and directions ruin it all. Less content than BFV, BF1, BF4, BF3 etc. Can’t even count portal since they’ve drastically reduced the overall integration it has with the main game.     Unlike BFV there is no reason to wait for this game to "fully release" in season 4, the core gameplay has no promise.

    Lost all faith, been with the franchise from the start - the franchise is now dead.

    The more I play it the less I like it. Battlefield ended with BF3. This isn't fun, and it sure as hell isn't Battlefield. Chalk one up for EA killing another developer. I wouldn't want this on my resume

    don't buy this game or any further games from EA. poor graphics poor gameplay poor maps. hovercraft everywhere climbing buildings. guns not hitting targets when clearly you are on screen. gun bloom luck more than skill. bugs a plenty. more EA rubbish push it and collect the money try and fix it later

No peaking over/around corners; moving while prone ADS; aiming on back and rolling; no cover in vast open spaces; bullet drop is a joke; and WTF! No scoreboard!!! Are you kidding!     The only decent thing about this game is Portal mode, I can’t find Hazard Zone matches, bad mechanics, the main game modes lack players, specialists personalization resets every time I start the game, even though I have been a Battlefield fan and played almost every game in the franchise, I wish I didn’t Pre-order the ultimate edition of this game.

    Maps are boring, specialists mechanic is really dumb. No pats theme is inconsistent as on the maps you are still us vs Russia. Totally incoherent as it's supposed to be a serious game where there is famine and war etc and the characters don't seem to take it seriously and their dialogue is cringe and totally out of place.     My beloved Battlefield series is officially DEAD!

    Where do I start? No single player campaign, multiplayer maps that are way too big and way too boring. The depth and fun of previous Battlefield has been completely wiped out in favor of a quick cash grab. I could not be more disappointed in this game

I held on posting a review because I truly hoped dice would address issue the community has clearly been shouting at them since release, when you look on any of their socials they are refusing to acknowledge that anything could even be wrong with the game. Its sad because right now they are in the key moment of saying their fan base from leaving for goof and they truly do not care. They lied mutiple times, they clearly said in 2020 that the game was a ahead of schedule, the game have top tier destruction.     Primary issues: - cannot spawn - cannot select loadout - no scoreboard (wut??) - inability to deploy when joining a game -    There is a lot of potential in this game, but, upon release, it's astounding how truly bad of a game this is, both from a performance and design perspective. They could have just done B4 mechanics with updated engine and graphics and it would be great.

    2042 is the biggest disappointment for me personally since i play video games. It was advertised as "ahead of schedule". It was broken at launch, 6 months after release there is NO new content. It tries to be a call of duty with hero shooter elements although the battlefield gameplay was completly fine on its own.

    The false advertising and bad managment from EA has reached an unforgivable low.

    + the music (probably thr only aspect of the game which actually impressed me)
    + plenty of fun ("only in Battlefield" moments)
    + good looking maps and biomes
    + decent performance on the PS5
    + most maps seem to be well balanced + the new mode (Hazard Zone) can be quite intense
    + Battlefield Portal has potential + loving the "plus" menu (for switching out attachments on the go)
    + vehicles can be quite fun
    + it's futuristic, yet familiar

    - missing squad and competitive features (no scoreboard, no voice chat, no squad rewards for playing together, no demote system for inactive squad leaders)
    - operators, abilities, third-person view and cosmetics (battlefield is slowly becoming a fortnite-warzone knockoff)
    - no TDM/Free-for-all modes outside portal
    - only a few guns in the game (and they are unbalanced: currently an SMG outperforms all ARs at mid range; shotguns are useless)
    - too many abilities and gadgets focused on wall hacking
    - animations look unpolished
    - no single-player campaign
    - the acting is bad, the characters behave like teenagers, not soldiers
    - no immersion, no "large scale battle" atmosphere
    - very basic customization
    - the UI can be quite cluttered at times
    - visual bugs (too many to list here)
    - unbalanced vehicles
    - some maps feel a bit too empty

    Graphics don’t match new generation , even ps4 look better. Small amount of weapons and gadgets.

    I’ve enjoyed every Battlefield I’ve played up to this point, but this doesn’t even come close to those games in any way.     I’ve enjoyed every Battlefield I’ve played up to this point, but this doesn’t even come close to those games in any way. It’s so obvious that everyone that made those games great have left the studio, and the result is a deeply mediocre game that barely feels like Battlefield at all. Yes, it has a lot of players, big maps and vehicles, but where’s the rest of it? Where’s the amazingly effortless and rewarding squad and team play of previous entries? Where’s the authenticity and immersion? This series is supposed to be about being a regular soldier, but now we’re playing as these ridiculous hero characters constantly spouting stupid one-liners and wing-suiting around. Battlefield was never exactly realistic, but it always tried to be authentic. BFV might have had some lame cosmetics, but everything else has such a raw intensity to it. This feels completely airless with barely any war feel to it at all. There aren’t even identifiable factions, because selling cosmetics is the only thing that matters now, apparently.

    It’s not even engaging in its own merits as the gunplay is incredibly inaccurate, unskillful and unbalanced. Maps play terribly and don’t even look good most of the time. The player count combined with the wide open, badly designed maps and weird abilities makes the game either chaotic to the point of incoherence or just boring as you trek through vast, empty landscapes. There’s some amount of fun to be had in the chaos, but chaos does not make a good game on its own. The whole thing just seems really sloppily designed, regardless of any series standards. On its own it would be below average. As a Battlefield game it’s laughable.

    Portal is ok, but it can’t save this game alone. Smaller, **** versions of games I love and custom modes won’t make me accept this absolute travesty of a sequel. It mostly serves to show how far the series has fallen.

    I could go on and on about this game’s shortcomings and many have. My main takeaway is that while many previous Battlefield games may have been buggy or lacking in content at launch, this the first one where I don’t see any potential in it. Everything about this game, from its smallest aspects to its grandest ideas are mediocre at best, and no amount of patching is gonna fix that.    … Expand

Would like to be able to customize the specialist the specialists face and race and gender like in BFV. I really enjoyed being able to make my own characters in BFV. Seemed like the maps in BFV created a more defined “frontline” for break through as you push through objectives. I hope they bring back more defined class systems and combat roles with a set of weapon options specific to each class. I feel like the class system encouraged people to actually fulfill combat roles and play more as a team. Medics actually revived people. The ui is awkward a lot of the times. Switching classes between deaths is strangely time consuming when you used to be able to switch classes really quickly in 5. I would like to be able to see the score board at the end of round and squad stats. You can no longer quick throw grenades with left bumber? If you customize the buttons and select quick throw, you still have to ‘select’ your grenades, and then instead of throwing one, you will automatically toss both grenades because you stay selected to your grenades? Who’s idea was that? Hoping that gets fixed. A lot of little details are gone like seeing your soldier get muddy and bloody or wet depending on the environment. I used to think that was cool in 5. Anyway, decent game, but lots of downgrades from the last installment. Would give 3 stars but it’s extremely glitchy and I often have to drop out of broken matches… Expand

The talented developers that gave us the old Battlefield have clearly moved on elsewhere and the franchise is now in the hands of the suits.

    Battlefield was my favourite game but sadly this will be my last and I think this will be the same story for many fans. I will be getting a refund.

    If you are looking for an immersive, tactical fps I highly recommend Hell Let Loose. Support companies like T17/Black Matter who still make games with passion. A lot times I’ve spawned inside a vehicle, and my character clipped through the ground and endlessly fell through some geometric void that has no set ground for me to traverse in a gameplay manner, it’s nothing but glitches. Had to disable cross play on my PS5 due to the consistent “persistent” game error message I kept receiving, which prevented me from playing in any matches. Seems like dice was off the rocker with this one. No voice chat so you can’t accurately direct your team in crunch moments for example, team gets comfortable with the lead and you have to stop taking away from whatever roll you play to type C1 C2 D1 D2 B1 hell E1 and F1 is been taken by the enemy by time you write all that you get met with the “shut up kid” you trash” “ooooooof get slapped with deez ****” “ttv w.e the hell” also the 3 rating is being Generous because I know they are going to further update the game but at the moment this is not it chief. Barely any guns, cap on the anti cheat, graphics looking dookie water, and the Specialists are cringe with their end game one-liners. Карты, вот это самая обычная история батлфилда, большая их часть говнище лютое, но есть прям топовые на которых и только на которых хочется играть. Есть карты удачные, есть говно. Боги мои, вы вообще играли в старые батлфилды? Это дефолт что много мусорных карт. Стрельба - хуже чем в батлфилд 5, но пойдёт, на уровне хардлайна по ощущениям.     Have had a fair amount of fun in the game with friends. It still needs some work in a lot of areas though. Specialists in particular seem out of place in Conquest, maybe they should be in Hazard Zone / Portal exclusively. Either way, I've still had fun. Will definitely keep playing the game while hoping it improves.

    Unable to connect to servers. When you do get in, it's only one mode that offers progression. Every round is littered with choppers with infinite ammo and flares. With cross play off you hardly find a match, so being forced to play against PC players who shoots explosive rounds out a pistol.

This game is more like APEX than a BATTLEFIELD franchise game.I've bought every game in the franchise so far and here I will stop. BATTLEFIELD is no longer what it used to be. DICE offers us the experience of 128 players but in 38 frames of the new consoles and on the most powerful computers. Anyone could have done that.     I payed 90 euro for a game that doesn't have game chat or the ability to join a friend's game. It's probably going to be an ok game in a year but now it is unfinished.

    one of the worst implementations of a Battlefield game to date (in history of the Franchise) . The coding is amatuer and lazy and game released to the public with next to no quality testing . As an FPS you can not shoot other players as the Hitreg is broken - fundamental flaw in a shooting game - Aim assist is broken on Launch and mouse and keyboard suffer server input lags - Regardingone of the worst implementations of a Battlefield game to date (in history of the Franchise) . As an FPS you can not shoot other players as the Hitreg is broken - fundamental flaw in a shooting game - Aim assist is broken on Launch and mouse and keyboard suffer server input lags - Regarding bullet bloom this has now been fixed but HItreg will continue to be a problem even after the 2nd December 2021 Patch 3 as stated by Dice/EA . This alone should deter you from purchasing this game as a First Person Shooter (FPS)
    Once multiple patches are released - check the reviews in 2022 to see if these issues are fixed

    The amount of content is less than any other Battlefield + no single player + less guns and all out Warfare has only 2 modes conquest and breakthrough

    Battlefiled 2042 requires you to save your loadouts - Loadouts include all you gun and vehicles customisations - you can spend a decent amount of time customising each weapon and vehicles.
    Loadouts delete for some unknown reason - so you loose all your customisations - Patch 3 should fix this issue but is broken currently ( patch 3 did not fix this issue) . So wait for a fix to come in 2022

    No scoreboard - Minimal destruction -

    The Maps do look colourful but lack a lot of detail compared to past games in the series There is no Single Player - but still priced at a premium price with less Multiplayer Maps and game modes - Less guns - The price of this game should be 1/3 of its current asking price
    There are free multiplayer games that offer more value then Battle 2042

    The are countless fundamental issues with Battlefield 2042 waiting to be fixed - that you can find on the official blog post

    A terrible implementation of a first person shooter - I would wait for the user score to climb back to above 7 or 8 before purchasing this game

    It was announced that the game was ahead of schedule by the CEO - Looks like they where behind by 1 year and there was a disconnect between EA/Dice Leaders and the developers on game development and issues

    Its clearly visible that the Battlefield Players/Community where not consulted in any feedback

    All Maps look unfinished and lack detail ( wall art and detail ) compared to even Battlefield 4 which is 10 Years old

    At the END of the DAY - EA went ahead and sold us a severely broken and unfinished game with less content. The Trailer was designed to foul us into buying the worst FPS game in history and I've been exclusively playing Battlefield since BF2 This was NOT a love letter to the Fans but a slap in the face by all involved . The Marketing was dishonest and fall of lies.

    While the repetition and lack of content cooled my enthusiasm a bit, I am excited to see where DICE can take Battlefield 2042 from here — if current industry trends hold, I’m confident this will be a strong addition to my already-full shooter rotation after a few months of additions and updates.
